Sessions to GOP: Adapt to Trump or die

In an exclusive interview for POLITICO's 'Off Message' podcast, the Alabama senator warns fellow Republicans to fall in line.

Sessions, a 69-year-old former state attorney general who famously donned the “Make America Great Again” trucker’s cap at a massive rally in Mobile last August, thinks Trump is more a movement than a man. And this sprightly son of country preachers and teachers is on a mission to evangelize maybe-Trumpers like House Speaker Paul Ryan on the Gospel According to Donald – with a sermon on self-preservation.

“I think [Ryan] needs to recognize, on some of these issues, Trump is where the Republicans are and if you’re going to be a Republican leader you should be supportive of that,” Sessions told me during a taping of POLITICO’s “Off Message” podcast in his Senate office last week.

“My advice is to listen and accept the will of the American people, the Republican voters – the Republican Party is the Republican voters,” he added – a pointed reference to Ryan’s suggestion that he, and not the presumptive party nominee, represents authentic conservative values. “Give me a break! A lot of our drift within our party has gotten away from [the will of the voters] … I think the leaders in all parties tend to adjust to reality. They just have to or they won’t remain in office … Already many are sensing it.”

Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump held another massive rally Friday, this time in San Diego, California.

Outside the rally hundreds of violent anti-Trump protesters harassed and assaulted Trump supporters and police.

The anti-Trump mob was once again waving Mexican flags – in America.

Filmmakers Andrew Marcus and Jeremy Segal filmed the protests.

At one point several protesters waving Mexican flags harassed Hispanic Trump supporters.

The Trump supporters confronted the protest mob.
And told them to “Go Back to Mexico!”

while flipping channels last night I stopped for a couple minutes on Charlie Rose. He was interviewing some numbskull who was apparently a prominent R of some sort, who said a few stupid things (IMO) within just a couple minutes. He said;

. the Bushes and the whole party has been representing Reagan philosophy since his presidency - (ignorant or delusional??)

. that they had believed and operated as if there was no role at all for government

. that the political revolt now is proof that Reaganism is without doubt now obsolete

. that R party going forward, in it's new identity, MUST embrace government as the provider of solutions

Scalia said... "... as long as the Court is revising the Constitution... the people ought to have some say who is on the Court..." The Court is not supposed to revise the laws of the United State or the Constitution. The Courts are to rule on the facts and the law, in regard to the original intent of the Constitution and the law. They are not to make new law or revise old laws.   Charlie Rose is an idiot.

Original intent... is the ONLY LAWFUL INTENT when interpreting the Constitution.  A Court that believes it may alter the Constitution by interpretation or adjudication, should.... No!... MUST be removed.  Congress must become the aggressive Watch Dog of Judicial Ethics and Activism... rule by Judicial Fiat must end and the only way to do that Constitutionally is to IMPEACH judges whose behavior is bad... contrary to the US Constitution as determined by Congress..

There is no provision for the Constitution to EVOLVE thru Judicial Activism... The process to change the Constitution is stated in Article V... it must be Amended under the provisions of Article V, if it is too be changed at all.  The Courts have no legitimate lawful or Constitutional roll in changing the Constitution.  This is precisely why the members of the Court, who believe it can rewrite, or interpret the Constitution outside of its original intent, must be IMPEACHED... removed from the courts.

Trump must demand the removal of ALL ACTIVIST FEDERAL JUDGES... those who have a history of revising the US Constitution by JUDICIAL FIAT.  That must be one of his priorities and it must begin in the first 100 days of his Administration.

Trump is more of a Republican for a turn back to the Republic and away from Democracy. We as a country were not to be war mongers as we have been led into. To get enough men the first time to go fight in another country took some real persuasion by the leaders. Trump is of that thinking. We don't war unless it really is necessary for our own country not to promote ideology. Every recorded Democracy died within a few hundred years. We are repeating the same scenario of a failed Democratic country and at the same time seeking to spread it like a disease around the world. 

Democracy provides no place for God and prayer guidance from him. We "SAY"... "In God we trust"... but there is no dependence on God or a following of His will in our nation. Even the "Christians" have turned their backs on Him and doing their own thing. 

We can see now that the leaders of this country are elected by voters only to join the elites that have the thinking that they need to disconnect from their voters "will" and proceed by the advice of worldly-minded "wise" men with Godless ideas for the future. This is why we have the new "Moral Police" attitude which portrays a mind against God's design for His creation. 

Many have been praying that God would put the man in office that would lead this country back to what God intended. We could again be the Lighthouse for good for the world and lead many to see that God is the answer to the world's problems, not man.

. 'genuine democracy' is what obie, Hillary and crew are advocating, a far cry from our founding's democracy intent. It's also what FondaKerry was referring to when he told France they were 'the birthplace of democracy'. France's democracy is what they admire, not our limited democracy. Genuine democracy is what these fools are spreading.

. when we invade countries, like Afghanistan or Iraq... what is the common stated goal? 'To build a strong central government.' has been our goal for 'nation building', and the criteria needed met for our exit strategy. What's up with that? Why do we-the-people accept that as a credible goal? We aren't even supposed to advocate/want a strong central government here, what are we doing trying to build one in other countries.

Jeff Sessions Open to Running as Trump’s Vice President

Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama says he is open to serving as Donald Trump's running mate, describing it as a potential opportunity to work in a "historically positive administration."

The 69-year-old Republican, currently in his fourth term, made the rare acknowledgement of interest in a higher office to U.S. News in an interview on Thursday, stressing that he has had no conversations with the Trump campaign about the vice presidency.

Just spent an hour searching out Jeff Sessions record and find it very exceptable. He has my vote for VP and I would even consider him for President. That would give us 16 years of recovery from the Democrat insanity we have had to endure and a nation that truly means IN GOD WE TRUST!

A lot of these Republican politicians who refuse to endorse Trump or otherwise support him simply have a lot of gall and audacity to second-guess, or even ignore, the peoples' choice! Trump's not conservative enough for them, but the real question is, where the hell have they been for the last 8 years.  I don't see a single conservative piece of legislation passed, nor do I see any pressure by them to stop Obama's illegal and unconstitutional actions and executive orders, as well as the most corrupt administration in our history, an administration which uses government agencies to thwart or otherwise condemn and ignore any rights or laws.  Where have all these conservatives been for 8 years and why are they so worried now about what Trump "might" do, when Obama has done everything they fear Trump would do? Why isn't Obama under their skin and why have they remained silent and actionless throughout Obama's term, especially when he's stripped us of our rights, and shredded the constitution, and so much more.

Paul Ryan is part of the problem.  Would we have Bill Kristol attempting to thwart the entire election, intentionally ruining the GOP and putting Hillary in the White House, and destroying our Supreme Court with liberal activists for decades to come, if people like the Speaker of the House went ahead, endorsed/supported Trump, and made the declaration that this is the will of the people and thus, Trump is the Republican nominee.  Ryan could also make a play against Kristol for trying to derail the election.  The GOP has this election in the bag...IF...they support the peoples' choice.  If they continue to refuse to jump aboard the Trump Train, then they are essentially handing Hillary the WH on a silver platter.

When you step back and take a look at what is being said you can't help but come to the conclusion that the Democratic Party which has infiltrated the teaching system from first grade to college and has the control of media etc. It seems as though they were in the process of controlling both parties. We see that the R.I.N.O's had dug deep into the inner workings of the "2 system" party. Every time a bill, citizens would not like, came up they wanted passed, the vote would just narrowly pass with both "parties" involved in passing it!

We are seeing the first stages of the dismantling of the one party system "DemGop's". It is all smoke and mirrors... an illusion... it's promoted as two but in reality is only one system in control behind the curtain by Socialists. 

When Trump came along... an outsider who wasn't schooled by the normal flow of indoctrination and their standard process they had set up... and the voters jumped on his wagon of truth becoming his cheering crowd and threatened the status quo of the system they had set up. Horror set in and they had no way of fixing this unexpected turn of events. It grew even larger in scope when both Republicans, Independents and some Democrat's jumped on Trumps wagon. What were they to do?

What we have learned and why we are hearing all the commotion is because the hidden nest they had arranged for themselves has blown up in their collective faces. NOTICE THAT BOTH "Republicans and Democratic parties" are in disarray.

The establishment is fearful of retribution and JUSTICE... they have been violating the laws of our nation so long that they could all end up in jail... Trump will not only fire them... his DOJ can and should send them to prison for their criminal conduct. 

Crooked Hillary is not the only 'crook' in government...  That is why many of the establishment political class are anti-Trump... they fear justice is about to make its way into the Halls of Government and that they are on the wrong side of the law.
