Group Behind Perry’s Indictment Got $500K from Soros

Sometimes it seems like there isn’t a single political issue that a Soros-funded group isn’t involved in. Texans for Public Justice, one of the groups behind Rick Perry’s indictment charges, is part of a “progressive” coalition that has received $500,000 from liberal billionaire George Soros.

Rick Perry was indicted by a Texas grand jury for vetoing funding for the state’s public integrity unit, unless the lead prosecutor resigned following her drunk driving arrest. Since the news of Perry’s indictment charge broke on Aug. 15, none of the network morning or evening news broadcasts have mentioned the Soros connection, or mentioned Texans for Public Justice at all.

According to KXAN, a local NBC affiliate in Austin, Texans for Public Justice filed a complaint against Perry in court last June.

According to an Open Society Institute press release, OSI has given $500,000 to help form a coalition that “could change the way the progressive community engages public policy in Texas.” Besides Texans for Public Justice, this coalition includes Texans Together, the Sierra Club, Texas Legal Services, La Fe Policy Research and Education Center, Public Citizen, and the Center for Public Policy.

OMG NO SHOCK

THIS IS WHAT THE GOP NEEDS TO DO GET THE GARBAGE OUT IN PUBLIC AND BELIEVE ME GUYS LIKE HITLER REID WRECK OF IT ALL THE TV COMMERCIALS ARE THERE GO GET EM

Right Bonnie, News of all Democrat Corruption like this need to be brought out in the open, even though the Socialist Spin-Meisters will call it political.  Enough Americans are finally seeing the extensive reach of Socialism in this Country under the Most rotten, corrupt Administration is our History, by FAR!

They are more than socialists! They are communists!
Soros has some 300 subversive organizations and control of the New York Times thru these organizations!

No surprise.

so that's how he's going to piece-meal spend the money he vowed to use to keep Dems in office?  I guess he has enough to start lawsuits and contrived criminal charges against every Republican in the nation.

That's a lot of money!

When you do your back homework on this guy it is amazing he is not an international criminal with warrant's from multiple countries . He has manipulated the currencies of many countries including England [which he almost singlehandedly bankrupted ] when he walked away he had cleared Billions in profit and had taken over leadership of large corporations and their assets . He and OBama are rumored to have colluded in these " Green " operations that the Government has no business being involved in and again , huge sums of our money is invested in failing enterprises . Then as they fail he is positioned to make Billions . Some times in one day of activity .
This is no different then the pipeline that we need so bad and can't get it built . Look that one up and you will find that OBama's pal Warren Buffet , bought and refurbished CN train lines . He is hauling the crude oil and making a killing , which would disappear if the pipeline were built . We are voting in Robber Baron's and they do what they do = Rob us blind !

SOROS DIRTY WORK GOES BACK WHEN HE WAS A YOUNGSTER

IN GERMANY 1930'S.        HE AND HIS FAMILY BEING JEWISH HE SERVED

WITH THE NAZI'S TO POSSIBLY SAVE FAMILY.  BUT LATER HE EVEN

TURNED ON HIS FAMILY. HE WAS IN THE CITY WERE JEWS WERE

GASED AND HE GOT TO TAKE THE GOLD FILLING FROM THIER MOUTHS

WHEN THE USA FINAL TOOK OVER HE TURNED IN THAT HE WAS

FORCED TO UNSPEAKABLE THINGS.  HE LIED AND HAD THOUSAND OF

DOLLARS FROM THE GOLD HE HAD.    SO FROM A TEEN TO NOW HE IS

A FILTHY ASTARD. LIKE PAYING $500.000 TO BLACKEN PERRY'S REPUTTION.

Soros is reportedly worth $20 billion!

All that money and he still gets a kick out of destroying countries. Rumor (?) has it, from what I've read, that he was Jewish when a child (but his uncle changed that for him?) and he had a name change, so instead of being put in an oven during the holocaust, he was part of the group that operated the camp and buried the executed Men Women and Children. His wealth started back then at the age of 14 when he was stealing gold rimmed glasses, jewelry and gold fillings from the teeth of those that were executed. Does anyone think he's a nice guy?

Also, it is said that either Germany or one other country in Europe is supposed to have a warrant out for his arrest should he ever step foot back to whichever country it is, on charges of war crimes.

All that money of his, a nice person, it did not make.

Boycott the Liberal media! Make them hurt and get the word out to veterans and other Tea Party members and Patriots. They use money against America... let us support their loss!

Why does this not surprise me????? soros is intent on establishing the New World Order with himself as fuerher.

He'd better hurry up if that's the case. I don't know his exact age, but if he was old enough to have been a participant in the Holocaust, in that he helped bury those that were executed, he's got to be somewhere in the vicinity of 85 Plus years of age. Satan must be feeding him water from the so called "fountain of youth."

Romney Handed Shock
Defeat By Own State’s GOP

Mitt Romney is back in state politics, this time in Utah instead of Massachusetts. However, conservatives in The Beehive State aren’t exactly warming up to the 2012 Republican standard-bearer quite the way many people expected they would.

After finishing second in votes at the state GOP convention, Romney will now face a primary in his run for the Senate seat being vacated by Orrin Hatch, Fox News reported.

At the convention in West Valley City on Saturday, Romney polled just behind state lawmaker Mike Kennedy.

Kennedy captured 50.18 percent of the delegate vote compared to Romney’s 49.12 percent.

That means the two will face off in a primary on June 26 to determine who will represent the GOP this fall.

Romney, the first Mormon to head a major party ticket, is considered an extremely popular figure in Utah and was widely expected to have an easy path to the upper chamber.

In a hypothetical matchup with Democrat Jenny Wilson, at least one poll showed Romney up by 46 percent. That’s, uh, slightly more than the margin of error.

However, among party loyalists, Romney isn’t exactly viewed with unalloyed fondness.

The 2012 presidential nominee was always known for being decidedly moderate, particularly on issues of immigration and global trade. There was also the fact that he ran a campaign so bumbling that it almost made Michael Dukakis look good.

And then there was Romney’s war of words with Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, which likely led many to perceive he secretly wished Hillary Clinton would take the Oval Office.

Trump would later consider Romney as a secretary of state pick, although how serious the president-elect was about appointing him is something we’ll likely never know.

While your average Utah Republican is unlikely to let these slights affect their vote, hardcore party activists probably don’t want another RINO who isn’t exactly known for his rapport with the president in the upper chamber of Congress, no matter how famous he may be.

For his part, Romney tried to put a good spin on the humiliation.

“I’m delighted with the outcome. Did very, very well,” he told KSTU. “On to a good, important primary ahead. This is terrific for the people of Utah.”

Dude, you just lost to a guy nobody has ever heard of. However, Kennedy was happy with the results, and unlike Romney, he had good reason to be.

“I’m a candidate with a compelling life story and a unique set of life circumstances I’d like to use to serve the people of Utah,” Kennedy said.

I have no idea what that story or those circumstances are, but I think the key point here is that he’s not Mitt Romney. If he wants to win, that’s pretty much what he should be focusing on. I can see the billboards now. “Mike Kennedy: Not Mitt Romney.” “Mike Kennedy: He didn’t borrow Ward Cleaver’s haircut.” “Mike Kennedy: Because Utah deserves a senator whose favorite food isn’t buttered noodles.”

Utah’s electorate tends to be less conservative than convention-goers, so it’s unlikely that Romney won’t be the GOP nominee for Senate. However, that’s not a 100 percent certainty — and it wouldn’t be the first time he’s lost to a Kennedy.

What do you think?
