GOP PANIC ATTACK, David Brooks: "I Wish We Had Gray Men In Suits" To Take Out Trump, Cruz

Conservative New York Times columnist calls for the "donor class" to create an organization like MoveOn.org to take out Republican frontrunners Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz. Brooks said he wished "we had gray men in suits" to take away Trump and Cruz in his Friday appearance on PBS' NewsHour.

JUDY WOODRUFF, PBS NEWSHOUR HOST: Well, does that mean something, though, for Jeb Bush? Does it — does that translate into something for him?

DAVID BROOKS, NYT COLUMNIST: Well, Jeb Bush is part of a large group of people who are like the team at halftime who — like the Republican establishment, who feel like they’re down 50 points and they have decided they’re going to lose the game.

And that’s how the Republican establishment is right now. They don’t believe that Ted Cruz or Donald Trump can win. They think it could imperil their majorities in Congress, and yet they’re doing nothing about it.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But what could they do?

DAVID BROOKS: Well, I wish we had gray men in suits. We don’t have that.

But the donor class could do something. Frankly, the country is filled with state legislators who are Republicans, congressmen, senators, local committeemen, a lot of whom are in panic. And so maybe they should do something about it. Maybe they should have a MoveOn.org-type organization and get some rallying, which the other side has already done, and have a counterweight, so they don’t send the party into suicide.

What a terrible thing to say.

Hey Trump and Cruz are just the "Men" America needs to fix the Washington Cesspool, I also think that the Rats in DC are carping there pants to hear the American's stand up and in a very clear voice your days of worrying about your party and turn a deaf ear to the will of the people, you are next !!!

This is not even worth a comment David!!

Is this idiot for real?  He needs to get his head on straight!!!!!

Two liberals in front of the camera encapsulated in the DC bubble spouting their views.  Trump has created a movement, and it is really rubbing the liberals and the GOP elites the wrong way.  They are all running scared against one man who has controlled the agenda and the talking points since he decided to run.  That's got to be very scary for the elites on both sides who have been ripping of America for many many years.Trump will be the end of all that.

Who could have seen both parties would turn to treason against our Constitution for their life style, not ours.  Donald Trump.

NEW YORK TIMES COMMUNIST. THE NEWSPAPER THAT COVERED UP THE MURDER OF TEN MILLION UKRANIANS FOR COMMUNIST COMRADE STALIN. WHO FORCED A PEOPLE TO EAT THEIR CHILDREN. THE COMMUNIST TIMES CALLED CASTRO THE GEORGE WASHINGTON OF CUBA.

NOW HIS SALES FORCE IS BACK ON THE STREETS TO HANDLE THE CUBAN GOLD WEED SHIPMENTS. IT STARTS WITH WEED BUT THE BIG MONEY IS IN METH AND HEROIN.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HATES DRUGS. NOTHING IS GOING TO BE HIGHER THAN THE WALL.

NEVER FORGET EVERY UNDOCUMENTED CHILD IS A SLAVE. OBAMA IS A SLAVER.

Hey ABU!  Do you review Alex Jones on infowars.com? if not check him out on he reads like your expressing now. Later!

Trump and Cruz ARE the "Gray Men in Suits" . . . and they're here to take out the trash . . . otherwise known as the Republican Establishment that have sold their soul (and our respect) for their position and influence.

Mr. Brooks and the rest of the Republican Establishment are right to be worried.  "We're damn mad and we're not going to take it anymore!"

Trump and Cruz (and a few other 'outsider' politicians) just happen to be the ones who realize this and are becoming the leaders we've been looking for.  They are just the spokesmen of a large, frustrated, angry 'silent majority'. . . and, we're coming for you.

The Rings know the jig is up. The need to find rocks to climb under

The Republican leadership/Establishment, has been wrong the past two elections. They have lost touch with the people and have no idea how frustrated and angry we are at this time.  The people have done everything they have ask us to do, but they haven't been able to give us a candidate that could win.  We're are sick of watching the Republican Party surrender to the Democrats. Heck, they've even crawled in bed with them a few times to defeat the very Bills that the majority supported.  If Republican leaders keep feeding the beast, how are we ever going to get out of our huge debt? If Republicans keep supporting "cheap labor", won't we end up like every other third world, two class country? Have you forgotten what made America great?  If wasn't poverty and welfare.

Brooks is trying to sell Papers through increased sensationalism, the more bizarre, the better. A One-Man National Enquirer. He's a tinkling symbol.

Yikes !!! Ocasio-Cortez: We Need A ‘Multigendered, Multigeographic’ United States

The United States of America needs to be “multigendered” and “multigeographic,” according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who endorsed fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) at the “Bernie’s Back Rally” in New York on Saturday.

The freshman lawmaker and “Squad” member officially endorsed Sanders during a rally in Queensbridge Park in Long Island City, New York, on Saturday and called for more diversity in the U.S., arguing that it should not only be “multiracial” and “multigenerational” but “multigeographic” and “multigendered.”

“We need a United States that really, truly, and authentically is operated, owned, and decided by working – and all – people in the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said to applause.

“That is what it – it is multiracial, multigendered, multigenerational, and multigeographic,” she said, failing to elaborate on what that specifically looks like.

“We have to come together, not ignoring our differences but listening to them, prioritizing them, understanding injustice,” she continued.

The socialist lawmaker also implied that rampant racism is still alive and well in the U.S., telling the crowd that it is essential to understand “that we operate in a context where slavery evolved into Jim Crow, evolved into mass incarceration, [and] evolved into the realities we have today.”
