Dr. Ben Carson: Chances Are ‘Reasonably Good’ That I’ll Be Running For President In 2016

Dr. Ben Carson told radio host Hugh Hewitt Monday night that the odds of seeing him on the presidential trail next year as a candidate for the GOP nomination are “reasonably good” and that he will make a decision to run no later than next May:

Hugh Hewitt: “So I know you like debating, so the question arises: will we be seeing you on the presidential debate circuit next year that will begin, that the Republicans are organizing for those who want the nomination of the party.”

Dr. Ben Carson: “I think the chances are reasonably good of that happening. I’m waiting obviously for a few more months. I want to make sure that it’s clearly something my fellow Americans want me to do and I’m also waiting to see what the results are in November because if the people indicate that they truly do want a nation that is for of and by the people, then I, and along with I hope many other people, be willing to give it everything we possibly have.”

America is craving for a leader. One who is not afraid of taking charge. A person that will protect it’s citizens and make America strong. Help us keep America’s Republic strong. sign the petition for Dr. Carson to run in 2016.http://www.runbenrun.org/petition?recruiter_id=207883

Hes got my vote.

If he were nominated - I would vote for him. I want a human being (like a Dr. Ben Carson) in the White house that LOVES America and will defend it's population. I want a president that will uphold the constitution. We're sufficiently sick and tired of the FRAUD that conjures a million ways to STEAL from taxpayers to line his pockets and disperse the loot to his far-left radical fringe causes.

I like Mr. Carson, and it would be good if he ran for a House or Senate seat and spent some time cutting his teeth in D.C.  Even being appointed to a ranking position......say S.G.

But I don't see "President" as his first ambition, working out at all.  Yes, he pretty much put Obama in his place about ObamaCare......(which was great)......but there is a heck of a lot more than ObamaCare that needs to be addressed.

I could open up with all cannons on a subject that Obama is wrong about......(which many would agree)......but that does not mean that I should throw my hat into the ring, and run for President.

John.. note my post that some Conservatives might not vote for him? I saw him debate on Liberal media and he would not be topped! He had the correspondent moving in his seat. Why, he is honest and said he would not become, what we know, as a politician of our time! Years ago it was corrupt enough and this is our problem today.. We have few honorable people in office! Let us give him a chance and get over how honorable he is and accept it as a major plus!

Ben Cason is a truly brilliant man with a conservative philosophy but no governmental experience. Maybe VP or if POTUS he will need a VP who knows the ropes. We need to hear a lot more from him before deciding.

That's what America needs.  A person with no "governmental" experience is what our founding fathers were.  We need that today.  We need somebody that is an American, that loves this country and the freedoms we have enjoyed in the past.  We need a person that loves and abides by the constitution of the United States. We need a person that believes in our military and knows without a shadow of doubt that we are an exceptional country.  We need a person that believes in LESS government.  We need a person that is not influenced by "governmental experience".

I believe Dr Carson fits that bill to a tee.

I totally agree with Alan. They cannot corrupt an honorable man. I think he will be as Ronald Reagan,, I even think better! The problem will not be him but who can run with him!

We have many men and a few women that could be his running mate. They have experience but they also would have honor above them! Sarah is a possible and so many others. She does have experience and look what the Liberal media would have to confront!!!! An honorable black American and a lady. Attack Liberal liars! Bet they would never say racist about their own commentary! The only problem with Sarah is the radical Feminists and their money! She did not abort her daughter and they were angry!

Did you see him being interviewed on LIBERAL MEDIA? He could not be stopped and had the man moving in his seat! He knocked him out! I forget who was interviewing him but he was not happy with Dr. Ben's answers! He could not debate them!

I think God has given America a last chance. If he is not taken out by an Oswald, he will be better than Ronald Reagan! Remember that Americans voted him as best President ever!

Dr. Ben Carson is the man for these times.  His character and courage are rare in American politics today.  We have to get behind whoever runs in 2016 and take back our country

Agreed. Whoever gets the nomination must be supprted by all. Whoever it is will be better than the destroyer of America we now have in office.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
