Cruz talks Obamacare on Fox News Sunday - Republicans send Chris Wallace opposition research

GOP apparently determined to destroy anyone willing to fight.

This morning, Senator Ted Cruz appeared on Fox News Sunday to discuss strategy in the fight to defund Obamacare. As usual, he did an excellent job of outlining the fight.

Later in the show, during the panel discussion, Chris Wallace made a sobering announcement. When they learned of the impending conversation with Cruz, Republicans - not Democrats - began bombarding the host with reams of what Wallace called "unsolicited opposition research." So, not only are the standard GOP forces unwilling to engage in the Obamacare fight, they're actively trying to derail it by sending impromptu anti-Cruz talking points to members of the media.

That is simply unbelievable. So much for Cruz's vision of "party unity."

Rino's are go along to get along hedonistic self centered fools who are short sighted and stupid.

When you make a deal with the Devil you loose your soul !

when you make a deal with a democrat you loose your party base. and commit political suicide

The RINO politicians (and we know their names) must be driven out of office for the good of the American People.  This is a fight between the "Washington ruling elite" and the American People.  The "Washington ruling elite" includes not only the MARXIST/STATISTS (So-called Democratis), but the RINOS who are carbon copies of the MARXIST/STATISTS and that makes them enemies of the American People.  I have been saying for years that the American People have allowed these "Professional Career Politicians..... political criminals.........who despise this country and the people they are suppose to serve, into power.  NOW, WE MUST FIND A WAY TO REMOVE THEM ONE BY ONE OR OUR FATE IS SEALED!

The Republican Party, which I have financially supported for the lasfor fifty years no longer represents me

Well John They haven't represented me in about 30 years or so and it is getting worse by the year.

But it looks like the pendulum may be swinging back our way ?  [I HOPE]

Right on John

I completely agree!

TAKE ACTION NOW, I suggest we have every Teapartier send an email like this one to the RNC

Mr Boehner,
What GOP is sending data to undermine senater Cruz on Fox News?
I will not give any money to a GOP that is helpful to obamacare period.

The senate will reject this and send it back.
When the republicans show the fortitude to stand united and fight for us
I will donate.
But if you agree to some mushy version of just delaying Obamacare I will not
donate or vote for republicans again.
So I will wait for now to see if you cave again as you have over the past 5 years.

Later today, House Republicans will take the fight to defund and dismantle ObamaCare to the Senate – and we need your support.

This disastrous law is driving up costs and destroying jobs.

We must rip it out by its roots to help get our economy back on track.

Please stand with us: https://www.nrcc.org/1-million-strong-obamacare/

The President is raising millions of dollars to help put Nancy Pelosi back in control of the House so she can protect all of ObamaCare’s mandates and tax hikes.

Your contribution of $100, $50, $25 or whatever you can afford will...

So please chip in: https://www.nrcc.org/1-million-strong-obamacare/

With your support, we’ll strengthen our Republican House Majority and put pressure on Senate Democrats to protect all Americans from the President’s ObamaCare train wreck.

Thank you and God Bless,

John Boehner
Speaker of the House
Boehner ALWAYS caves. Name ONE time that he hasn't caved. He's spineless!!!

MY MONEY will go to CRUZ NOT the Republican Party!

Kenneth Poduska  - With that platform, I'd vote for you any day!  So, start spreading the word...or maybe we should all print out your letter and send it to Congress!

What infuriated me about Fox News Sunday is that the Republicans have essentially given up - they need to hear from more "Kenneths"!!

John Treadwell speaks for me....I'll save a ton of dough

Brit Hume (R/D?) Karl Rove, and all the establishment Republicans are nothing but a pathetic bunch of "Chicken Littles." They are self-serving, spineless and visionless, and more afraid of what their colleagues and the media  will think of them than considering what is best for the American people.  I was disgusted with the attacks on Ted Cruz, and the utter lack of courage and sense of hopelessness that emanated from the panel on Fox News Sunday and  their notion that we have to live with Obama - so  called - care, forever!  Why?  Where is it written that a few politicians more interested in their own careers can force us into subservience?  Sorry, I'm not buying the inevitability of Obamacare being the law of the land forever. Were this a Republican trying to force say, "Bushcare" on us, you would see how quickly they could kill it under the banner of freedom.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
