I ask myself this because I am in line with the Movements beliefs and values to the letter.  Yet, I have taken one further step and have committed to run for Congress in 2014.  I have the desire to commit the time, run on self imposed term limits and even a reduction in salary and benefits.

Yet, I have to unseat a moderate Republican who is as we say here, "dug in like a tick on a hound dog", as a career politician in a very wealthy community who will come out and vote.  Trying to unseat him in a primary would not work well as a plan.

So I must do it as an Independent Candidate. Interesting dilemma, the movement has never supported an Independent before which has brought some criticism to the Tea Party Movement and who they really are.

We had better wake up and realize the system is broken.  With the exception of some good people such as Ted Cruz, these people who are representing us only care in being reelected as career politicians and have never had a true job or budget before, let alone balance one, in their lives.  Obamcare is a good example, it is totally wrong and should be repealed and our spending is irresponsible and out of control.  However, rather then work on fixing these problems our politicians see a hole in the Obamacare system due to a 6 million dollar disaster of a website.

There is still the debt ceiling crisis to deal with and putting an end to Obamacare. But instead, they see fit to hold hearings, at our expense, to find out what went wrong with the website and who is to blame. We are not idiots, we know Obamacare is wrong.  Why spend 6 million more dollars on a hearing to find out what went wrong with a website?  It was all about posturing and getting free radio and TV time as 2014 rolls around.  There is a trillion dollar problem which is much bigger and coming up again.

It is time someone step up and really try to do something before it is too late.  The Dems have pulled out the nuclear option which could be far worse then anyone realizes.  With or without you I am committed.

Steve:

I didn't say you don't have a point, I was saying what is the point in asking for help from you for the last month. All I have heard is your going to sometime in the future make a candidate section. I would say that is a little late from other people I have spoken with, including, Joe, your hero.

All I get is 40 emails a day to send my congressman an email and pleas for donations. Who are you actively supporting right now? I guess I don't fit in because even though we have the exact same beliefs and values, I have to run against a moderate Republican as an Independant.

So if you are not supporting me, you are supporting him, a moderate Republican who has rolled over more times then my dog.

It's interesting you request donations. For what? Anyone can email their Congressmen for free at any time. I don't get it. The people of this country are not idiots. We understand the issues and are powerless against a broke system that needs to be fixed. How do you exactly plan to get congress back to one of your care values of making it possible for all the good people of our society to be able to run for election? One will not even be considered as a serious candidate without I million dollars and that is on the loe side. Congress has never had such a low approval rating and the time is now in 2014 before all is lost.

All of the Texas seats are up for reelection as well as many more. Who are you supporting and how?

Ted, we are awake, this is why this site and others are up and working for America.

Remember, over 75% of our candidates win! Who else can say that? This group, TeaParty.org sends over 750K fax pages to Congress every month! They send over 250 million opt-in emails to subscribers every year and this site has over 38K bloggers.

Also, TeaParty.org sends over 1 million snail mail pieces every month.

Furthermore, TeaParty.org is in the top 30k of all the websites in the world and is number 1 ranked of all the Tea Parties by Google. This site is ranked number 3 of all the Tea Party websites, therefore this group controls the 1st and 3rd Tea Party websites in America!

So, now you should know the Tea Party has a point and a lot of them.

YIKES!!! Chelsea Clinton Emphatically States A Person With A Beard And A Penis Can ‘Absolutely’ Identify As A Woman

  • The one issue Hillary and Chelsea don’t appear to agree on entirely is transgender self-identification
  • In an interview with The Sunday Times, journalist Decca Aitkenhead asked the Clintons about transgender self-identification
  • Chelsea Clinton replied ‘yes’ emphatically when asked if someone with a beard and penis can ever be a woman
  • ‘It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently,’ Hillary said
  • Aitkenhead said Hillary became ‘uneasy’ when the question was asked while Chelsea shot a ‘furious stare’ at the journalist as her mother answered
  • Hillary added: ‘It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw’

(Daily Mail) – It may appear Hillary and Chelsea Clinton always see eye-to-eye, but in a recent interview one topic cracked the facade of the like-minded mother-daughter power duo.

The one issue Hillary and Chelsea don’t appear to agree on entirely is transgender self-identification.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, journalist Decca Aitkenhead asked the Clintons if someone with a beard and a penis can ever be a woman, to which Chelsea replied emphatically, ‘Yes.’

However, as Aitkenhead describes it, Hillary looked ‘uneasy’, and blamed generational gaps for being less accepting.

‘Errr. I’m just learning about this,’ Hillary responded. ‘It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw. It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently.’

The Clintons sat sown with Aitkenhead to promote the book they co-authored, The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.

The book features Danica Roem, the first trans woman elected to a U.S. state legislature.

According Aitkenhead’s account, she tells Hillary during the interview that many British feminists of Hillary’s generation have a problem with the idea that a ‘lesbian who doesn’t want to sleep with someone who has a penis is transphobic.’

Hillary nods in agreement, while Chelsea ‘stiffens and stares at me’, according to Aitkenhead.

The journalist then adds that many women of Hillary’s generation are uncomfortable with biological males sharing women’s bathrooms.

‘I would say that, absolutely,’ Hillary nods firmly. ‘Absolutely. Yes.’

That’s when Chelsea begins shooting a ‘furious stare’ at Aitkenhead, who points it out to her.

‘I’m a terrible actor’, Chelsea laughs.

Chelsea then says she is thrilled with the National Health Service’s decision to assign patients to single-sex wards according to the gender they identify as, instead of their biological make up.

‘How can you treat someone if you don’t recognize who they feel and know in their core they are?’ Chelsea says.

‘And I strongly support children being able to play on the sports teams that match their own gender identity,’ she adds. ‘I think we need to be doing everything we can to support kids in being whoever they know themselves to be and discovering who they are.’

At this point Hillary looks conflicted.

‘I think you’ve got to be sensitive to how difficult this is,’ Hillary says. ‘There are women who’d say [to a trans woman], ”You know what, you’ve never had the kind of life experiences that I’ve had. So I respect who you are, but don’t tell me you’re the same as me.” I hear that conversation all the time.’

Despite the clear tension in the room, the pair say they don’t argue about this topic.

But according to Aitkenhead, ‘I get the impression they don’t like to present anything less than a united front to the world.’
