{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ House Democrats threatened Republican lawmakers with rarely used ethics violations for trying to enter closed-door impeachment proceedings... The threat came after Republican members of the House Armed Services Committee were ejected from the room after entering without authorization. They wanted access, arguing the witness, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper, is under the Armed Services panel’s jurisdiction. “Now we are being threatened with ethics violations,” Rep. Michael Waltz, a Florida Republican, said after leaving the room. “We, as sitting members of Congress, with jurisdiction over the witness, and over military aid, are being threatened.” The group of Armed Services panel lawmakers was in the second set of Republicans to try to gain access to the closed-door proceeding on Wednesday. Armed Services is not among a trio of panels House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi has sanctioned to oversee the impeachment proceeding. When the uninvited Republicans entered the room, House Intelligence Committee Chairman scumbag-Adam Schiff, who is overseeing the proceeding, got up and left, and took Cooper, the witness, with him. Partisan bickering then ensued before the GOP interlopers were escorted out. “We simply very calmly walked into the room, sat down, and were ready to hear the proceedings,” Waltz said. “scumbag-Adam Schiff got up and left — with the witness.” Republicans who are not members of the three panels do not have access to transcripts of the testimony, they said... { thehill.com } ~ A top U.S. diplomat gave explosive testimony Tuesday tying Ukraine aid to politically motivated investigations, a development Democrats called a game changer... that could extend the impeachment inquiry into 2020. William Taylor, the head of the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, informed House lawmakers he was told nearly $400 million in military aid was contingent on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announcing investigations into former Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, the Burisma energy company and 2016 election interference. Taylor’s testimony, that he understood the Trump administration was pushing for a quid pro quo, added more fuel to the Democrats’ hard-charging investigation. Taylor tied President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and Trump officials including Energy Secretary Rick Perry to a shadow foreign policy campaign that sought to obtain a public statement about political investigations. “The push to make President Zelensky publicly commit to investigations of Burisma and alleged interference in the 2016 election showed how the official foreign policy of the United States was undercut by the regular efforts led by Mr. Giuliani,” he told House investigators. Some Democrats on Tuesday said Taylor’s “credible” testimony means some witnesses, including U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, may need to be called back to testify a second time to resolve what Democrats now see as inconsistencies in their statements. Taylor testified that Sondland told him Trump said he wanted the Ukrainian government to state publicly it would launch investigations into the loose lips liar-Bidens and the 2016 elections and that “everything,” including the military aid, depended on it. “During our call on September 8, Ambassador Sondland tried to explain to me that President Trump is a businessman. When a businessman is about to sign a check to someone who owes him something, he said, the businessman asks that person to pay up before signing the check,” Taylor told investigators. Iran's Missile Attack Hoax

{ americanthinker.com } ~ On October 11, 2019, Iran announced that one of its oil tankers was struck by missiles while operating in the Red Sea. Almost two weeks later, exactly what happened to the tanker Sabiti remains unclear... and no independent information has emerged to confirm that there ever was an attack. What is clear is that the official Iranian explanation is nonsensical. The original Iranian report identified a different Iranian tanker, the Sinopa, as having been struck. At the time of the alleged attack the Sinopa was indeed in the Red Sea, but was some distance away from the Sabiti, sailing in a completely different direction to a different destination. How a report from a tanker stating that it had been attacked was then confused with an attack on a completely different vessel, the Sabiti, remains unexplained. At the time of the alleged attack the Sabiti had been operating with its maritime tracking system switched off for some two months. The system was reactivated only after the attack was reported. No explanation for the system being deactivated has been offered by the Iranian authorities. Historically, Iranian vessels deactivate their tracking systems when involved in activities that are in violation of international sanctions. After the report of an attack was transmitted, the Sabiti continued south in the direction of Eritrea for 500 miles. Only then did it turn toward Iran. The vessel’s speed was logged via maritime tracking at 9.6 knots, normal cruising speed for an oil tanker of its class. Neither of these things is consistent with actions to be expected by a commercial vessel that has just been attacked and is in distress. No request for assistance was made by the Sabiti. No other vessels came to its assistance, including other Iranian vessels. No other ships in the Red Sea reported any indication of an attack, or smoke, or flames. Following the attack, the official Iranian news agency IRNA released a photo showing what it claimed was the stricken tanker Sabiti. However, the photo published by IRNA was subsequently shown to have been of other incidents in June when the Kouka Courageous, a chemical products tanker sailing under the flag of Panama, and Front Altair, a crude oil tanker under the flag of the Marshall Islands, were attacked in the Gulf of Oman. Photos released of the Sabiti by the Iranian state TV broadcaster IRIB showed no damage of any kind to the vessel....

{ nationalreview.com } ~ Days after squaring off online against “elitist” critics of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue’s relocation of agency jobs, Senator Josh Hawley (R., Mo.) will introduce legislation on Wednesday... that would move the majority of the federal bureaucracy out of Washington D.C. to economically depressed areas, according to a summary of the bill provided to National Review. The “Helping Infrastructure Restore the Economy (HIRE) Act,” which is cosponsored by Senator Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.), would move 90 percent of the positions within ten executive agencies to economically distressed regions that have a stake in the work of those respective agencies. Under the bill, the Department of Agriculture would be relocated to Hawley’s home state of Missouri while the Department of Education would move to Blackburn’s Tennessee, in order to disperse the economic benefits associated with relatively high-paying government jobs that currently accrue to just a few zip codes. “Every year Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars fund federal agencies that are mainly located in the D.C. bubble. That’s a big part of the problem with Washington: they’re too removed from the rest of America. The Hire Act will move policymakers directly into the communities they serve, creating thousands of jobs for local communities and saving taxpayers billions of dollars along the way,” Hawley said in a statement. The bill comes in the wake of Hawley’s online feud with Department of Agriculture research analyst Andrew Crane-Droesch, who wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post on Monday arguing that Perdue relocated his division, the Economic Research Service, to Kansas City. Mo. last year in order to undermine its staff because their research didn’t support the administration’s policy goals. “I assume this is a parody, right? DC bureaucrats aren’t actually saying out loud that moving to Missouri is … punishment, are they? Because surely nobody could be that condescending & elitist,” Hawley wrote on Twitter in response to the op-ed. Washington Post blogger Greg Sargent moved to defend Crane-Droesch on Twitter, prompting Hawley to label him a “smug, rich liberal elitist” — a charge which CNN anchor Jake Tapper then implied was motivated by anti-semitism....

The anti-Israel organization If Americans Knew praised Democrat front-runner Elizabeth dinky/liar-Warren by stating, "She said 'yes' to pressuring Israel to end the occupation. Keep saying yes, and add some teeth to it." The same web page adds, "Israel has been a 'foreign policy problem' for years, but also -- especially recently -- it has become a diplomatic albatross around America’s neck." The political Left, rather than Donald Trump, has a problem with our fellow democracy Israel to the extent of excusing, ignoring, and whitewashing behavior similar to that of which they accuse Trump: Palestinian discrimination against and even physical abuse of women, religious minorities, and LGBT people. The context of the producer's statement was scumbag-Clennon's refusal to audition for a Netflix series because it is "…a joint project of U.S. and Israeli television companies." scumbag-Clennon then adds quite plainly, "Since the Israeli massacre of 2,200 residents of Gaza in 2014, I have supported the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel under the larger umbrella of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement." scumbag-Clennon also characterizes Israel's Operation Protective Edge as a "massacre of 2200 residents of Gaza" while omitting its context. Israel did nothing to Gaza until the terrorist organization Hamas kidnapped and murdered three Israeli teenagers an act of war and fired rockets at Israel another act of war. It is to be remembered that, when the Nazis bombed English cities, and then fired cruise and ballistic missiles at English cities, the Royal Air Force turned Hamburg and Dresden into crematoria and would have probably dropped a nuclear bomb on Berlin had the war continued into August 1945. Air Marshal Sir Arthur Harris explained what should have been obvious: "The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. At Rotterdam, London, Warsaw and half a hundred other places, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now, they are going to reap the whirlwind." Some people denounced Harris as a butcher and a war criminal, but his superiors including Prime Minister Churchill and/or Parliament could have ordered him to stop area bombing. They didn't, and Churchill was apparently comfortable with the idea of nuking Berlin. Britons who had but minutes -- and some Israelis have only 15 seconds -- to get into bomb shelters before Nazi missiles arrived probably agreed with area bombing of German cities. Royal Air Force personnel even wrote personalized messages for Hitler on their bombs before they dropped them. liar-Pelosi's Fact-Free Sheet on Impeachment
Nate Jackson: Whenever a Democrat talks about upholding the oath to “support and defend” the U.S. Constitution, there are two appropriate responses: outrage and/or laughter. House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi has elicited cause for either one with her “fact sheet” laying out the case for the Democrats’ impeachment coup because President Donald Trump “has betrayed his oath of office.”
Not surprisingly, liar-Pelosi’s distort-the-facts sheet fails to actually make that case. She points to the July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and subsequent “cover up” as “evidence” of Trump’s offenses, and she quotes the whistleblower complaint to allege that Trump “is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.”
In other words, liar-Pelosi’s big splash is nothing new. And it’s not even evidence; it’s skewing the facts of the matter to sell a narrative. The key fact here is that Trump asked for Ukrainian assistance investigating what happened in the 2016 election. Whatever benefits to his 2020 campaign there may be are incidental to the 2016 questions and U.S. foreign-policy interests, however careless and sloppy Trump is when he speaks.
So, where does this impeachment charade go from here? Well, liar-Pelosi hasn’t even held a House vote yet, though she says Democrats are proceeding “solemnly.” Right.
From a broader perspective, however, Andrew McCarthy, author of Faithless Execution: Building the Political Case for scumbag/liar-nObamas Impeachment, says Democrats have made a mockery of a solemn process. “Our constitutional system will be damaged because impeachment will be discredited,” he writes. “That will not make it any less indispensable than [James] Madison judged it to be. Yet its invocation will be even less likely in some grievous future instance, when a presidential abuse of power actually does imperil the nation. We will have a virtually omnipotent president.” And that, he adds, “is not a prescription for the preservation of liberty.” ~The Patriot Post
