Angry over their failed attempt to railroad Brett Kavanaugh, dummycrats-Democrats and other left-wing agitators are telling anyone who will listen that the Supreme Court’s legitimacy is now in question. “Confirming Brett Kavanaugh in the face of credible allegations of sexual assault that were not thoroughly investigated, and his belligerent, partisan performance in last Thursday’s hearing undermines the legitimacy of the Supreme Court,” said Sen. Dianne Fein-stein, the woman largely responsible for the circus that these hearings turned into. “The damage done today will be enduring — to the United States Supreme Court and to our country,” said Sen. scumbag-Richard Blumenthal. Ahead of the vote, NY Times columnist Paul Krugman said: “Kavanaugh may yet be confirmed, but this will make the court fundamentally illegitimate.” At Slate, Mark Joseph Stern wrote: “As soon as Kavanaugh takes the oath, he will plunge the Supreme Court into a legitimacy crisis that could weaken its power over the long term. This crisis will become particularly acute if dummycrats-Democrats retake Congress and the presidency but find their reforms stymied by a reactionary judiciary.”...

Rumors Stoke Islamist Attacks on Egyptian Copts

{investigativeproject.org} ~ Islamists and jihadists in Egypt have targeted the Egyptian Coptic minorities for decades with bombings and mob attacks on Coptic churches, businesses and homes... Many are sanctioned by fatwas from radical clerics, Salafist preachers and Muslim Brotherhood muftis. The latest attack took place Sept. 1 in Dimshaw, a village in southern Egypt's Minya governorate. A mob of nearly 1,000 Islamists and Muslim radicals attacked Christians who gathered in a home to pray. Several homes reportedly were looted and set on fire. The mob claimed that the Christians didn't have a license, and a rumor spread that they are on the verge of building a new church. A Minya court released 21 of the 25 people arrested in the attack. Copts often take a passive approach to such crises. "Copts, by nature and by belief, are by far more accepting of death, fate, and all tragedies that befall them," said Egyptian writer and political analyst Azza Sedky. "When one of them dies, they believe he or she has gone to a 'better place.' Acceptance is key." The 1956 Suez crisis generated xenophobia toward foreigners, driving many out of Egypt. In truth, it probably could have been something good... but instead what we see is a group that gives third-world hellholes the same standing as the United States and a platform that allows them to lecture us on all the ways we suck. It’s pretty rich coming from countries that have difficulty consistently feeding their people, but there you have it. One area we get lectured to on is gun control. After all, the “civilized” nations all strictly restrict guns and we don’t even come close to what they do. Clearly, the hundreds of thousands of guns on the black market is because we refuse to embrace civilization and entertain a more enlightened position on firearms. Only, well, the guns that are on the black market aren’t really our fault.Gun control proponent Allison Pytlak explains that a benefit of the ‘new’ ATT would be, “the closing of legal loopholes to prevent diversion of arms to illicit markets … stopping diversion should result in fewer arms finding their ways to militias, criminals, and terrorists.” Though Pytlak argues this nicely, the fact that U.S. citizens privately hold approximately 320 million firearms, that rarely enter the Black Market arena, seems to eludes the thought process. Behind all the pompous critiques, was the knowledge that they could not control their weapons, let alone ours. UN peacekeepers themselves are/were fueling the local Black Markets with firearms diverted from UN stockpiles. This is an important point that is rarely brought to light. Let’s be perfectly honest. The UN is nothing more than a dumpster fire. The UN’s purpose was to prevent another world war, but since then, it has tried to govern the entire planet. Party Chairman Tuckerman Babcock said the state’s GOP committee could take action ranging from a statement of reprimand, to pressuring her not to seek reelection, to encouraging other officials to seek a replacement. According to Babcock, the state GOP has withdrawn support for Republicans who have sided with the dummycrats-Democrat Party in the past. rino-Murkowski was the only Republican senator to vote against confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. California Admits DMV Error Added Noncitizens to Voter Rolls

{dailysignal.com} ~ An error at California’s Department of Motor Vehicles caused more than a thousand people, including some who were not U.S. citizens, to be incorrectly registered to vote... state officials said Monday. The DMV admitted that a “processing error” at agency field offices resulted in as many as 1,500 people being added to voter rolls between April 23 and Sept. 25.The widespread glitch was discovered after Randall Marquis, a Canadian citizen and legal U.S. resident living in California, notified the DMV he had received a piece of mail from the agency saying he was registered to vote. In response to Marquis’ alert, the agency ordered an internal audit and discovered hundreds of similar cases. “This error occurred when DMV technicians processed customer requests at field offices to change voter eligibility responses on driver license applications,” the DMV wrote in a letter to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “Due to the order in which the change was processed, the customer’s initial responses were retained instead of the correct and revised responses.” The DMV said the improper registrations were made “through no fault of the customer.” None of the people who were registered to vote due to the error were illegal immigrants, the agency added. “We have worked quickly with the Department of Technology to correct these errors and have also updated the programming and added additional safeguards to improve this process,” DMV Director Jean Shiomoto said in a statement Monday, according to ABC News...

The Real Boost the Marine Corps Needs

by Harold Hutchison:  The United States Marine Corps has always been about being “a few good men.” That said, the Marines could use some help.

             While the classic images of Marines are those storming beaches somewhere in the Pacific, fighting house-to-house in Fallujah, or making an incredible retreat at Chosing, there is more to the Marines than just that. They do a little bit of everything.
               One of the most important, yet lesser-known, areas they are involved in is aerial combat. Not only do Marine Corps aviators help transport Marines, they are also capable of just about every aerial combat mission. Unfortunately, Marine aviation has taken some big hits since the end of the Cold War.
               In 2016, not that long ago, the Marines had to go to the boneyard to get enough F/A-18 Hornets to maintain operational readiness. These were the baseline F/A-18Cs, because the Marines never received the more capable F/A-18E/F Super Hornets. Just bringing those online not only would have made the Marines more capable but simplified logistics on Navy carriers and given the Marines an insurance policy for the F-35’s teething problems.
               Here is one other startling tidbit about the F-35B that the Marines plan to use as their only multi-role fighter: It cannot haul 2,000-pound bombs. Not the GPS-guided Joint Direct Attack Munitions, not the Paveway laser-guided bombs, not even dumb bombs. Even the old Hornets could haul 2,000-pound bombs.
               The Marines have also had to stand down a number of squadrons. Keeping the Super Hornet line open could enable them to have more squadrons on standby and maintain the ability to drop 2,000-pound bombs on the enemy. But the fixed-wing fighters aren’t the only area where Marine aviation has taken a hit.
               Currently, each Marine tilt-rotor squadron has a dozen MV-22 Ospreys, which replaced the aging CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters. That’s all well and good, but the squadrons had, at one point had up to 18 CH-46 helicopters (the number was reduced to 12 in the 1980s, according to the Thirteenth Edition of the Naval Institute Guide to the Ships and Aircraft of the United States Navy). Restoring those squadrons to 18 aircraft each would make the Marine Expeditionary Units far more capable.
               Even the Marines in the Ground Combat Element have taken hits. In 2011, the scumbag/liar-nObama administration canceled the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle, which would have greatly helped the Marines when it came to taking Marines onto hostile beaches. Today, the new Amphibious Combat Vehicle may not enter service until 2022 and would be far less capable than the EFV.
               Marines also will be in need of ground-based air defense — another capability that has greatly atrophied since the end of the Cold War. Marines used to rely on MIM-23 HAWK surface-to-air missiles. The good news is that ground-launched versions of the AIM-120 AMRAAM are available and can be launched from the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle. It’s a cheap and easy fix to give the Marines an urgently needed boost.
               The Marine Corp has always managed to avoid the worst of the budget axe, but since the end of the Cold War, they have taken hits. The Marines have always been elite, but “the few” need to be not-so-few, and they need the best gear they can get.
