{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Senator Ron Johnson, in a letter to Devin Nunes, has provided a lengthy outline of his contacts, discussions and perspectives surrounding U.S-Ukraine foreign policy... as it relates to the current democrat impeachment narrative. Senator Johnson, attended the inauguration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky along with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), and shared his concerns that National Security Council official Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was running a rogue and independent foreign policy toward Ukraine expressly against the intents of President Trump. CTH readers will note we identify Vindman as a very sketchy character within the entire construct of the impeachment fiasco. It is virtually certain Vindman is the primary source for the CIA ‘whistleblower’ dossier (complaint). Beyond the rogue Vindman foreign policy, there is an even more sketchy affiliated network that surround him. […] The questions begin with Vindman’s activities as a staffer on the president’s National Security Council. Alarming reports indicate Vindman served as a source for the Ukrainian government inside the White House. This news may be padded by his protectors and muted by our general ignorance of the intelligence wars waged against this country, typically masterminded by the Kremlin, but it’s nonetheless deeply concerning. Further, given the sophisticated penetration talents of the Russian intelligence services, it’s the height of foolhardiness to assume that Vindman’s Ukrainian connections end in Kyiv. […] We need more information about Vindman, his relationship to the Ukrainian government, and whatever “advice” he may have offered it, whether “typically communicated” in English or any other language. That’s because, if The New York Times is accurate, Vindman’s loyalties are divided between two governments. At a minimum, this disqualifies Vindman from serving the American people in the sensitive field of national security ever again....

FISA Report to Senate on December 11th

{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will testify before the Committee on Wednesday, December 11, 2019... The Inspector General will discuss the findings of his investigation into DOJ and FBI’s conduct during the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant process as it relates to the 2016 presidential election. Considering the end of the principal review phase on Friday November 22nd; and considering the Thanksgiving holiday of November 28th; this likely puts the publication date for the report on/around Monday December 2nd, with testimony the following week. It is possible the FISA report release, and the 12/11 Horowitz senate testimony will come at the same time the House of Representatives moves the impeachment inquiry into the House Judiciary Committee. House To Vote On Temporary Funding
For The Government Tuesday

{ dailycaller.com } ~ The House is set to vote Tuesday on a continuing resolution (CR) to prevent a government shutdown, just days before the government would run out of money... The CR will fund the government from Nov. 21 to Dec. 20. Lawmakers on both sides continue to fight over what should be included in the spending package, such as funding for President Donald Trump’s border wall, which Republicans have continued to push for. Democratic leadership in the House put together a spending package in September and gave it to members less than 24 hours before the Democrat-controlled House planned to vote on the legislation. The situation is very similar to the shutdown before Christmas in 2018, when House leadership passed a continuing resolution earlier in 2018 and moved appropriations until the holiday season. The House Freedom Caucus then convinced President Donald Trump to hold out over wall funding, starting the longest shutdown in recent history which lasted until January of 2019. The House is expected to vote on the CR on Tuesday afternoon. If Trump does not sign the CR, the government would shut down until another agreement could be made..

{ dailycaller.com } ~ A National Security Council official who has long been a target of Democrats is accusing Rep. scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff of colluding with Politico to publish what he said is a false story... about his contacts with President Donald Trump, according to a lawsuit filed Monday. Kash Patel, who serves as a senior counterterrorism official on the NSC, is suing the Virginia-based Politico for $25 million for defamation over two articles published in October alleging he served as a back-channel to Trump on Ukraine-related issues. “Defendants’ reporting was categorically and knowingly false,” Patel stated in the lawsuit, which was filed against Politico and its owner, Robert Allbritton. “Defendants intentionally employed a scheme or artifice to defame Kash with the intent to undermine the President’s confidence in Kash and to further scumbag/liar-Schiff’s impeachment inquisition,” Patel stated in the lawsuit, which was first reported by Fox News. Patel said Politico and its reporter, Natasha Bertrand, “colluded, collaborated and conspired with scumbag/liar-Schiff to defame” him in articles published Oct. 23 and Oct. 30. Bertrand’s stories were based on alleged leaks of testimony that two NSC officials, Fiona Hill and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, gave in October as part of the Democrat-led Trump impeachment inquiry. Bertrand reported that Patel was involved in “passing negative information” to Trump about Ukraine on Oct. 23. She reported Oct. 30 that Vindman, who serves as the NSC director on Ukraine, testified that Patel “misrepresented” himself to Trump. But Patel is vehemently denying having contact with Trump regarding Ukraine. “At no time prior to October 30, 2019 had Kash ever communicated with the President on any matters involving Ukraine. Kash never supplied any Ukraine ‘materials’ to the President,” the lawsuit stated....

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily blocked a lower court ruling requiring President Donald Trump’s accounting firm to turn over eight years worth of Trump accounting records... to the House Oversight Committee in a short Monday order. The order, called an administrative stay, means House Democrats will not have access to Trump’s financial information until the Supreme Court decides whether to grant a longer stay. That decision — which is distinct from a request to hear the president’s case — could come as soon as Friday. Monday’s order follows an Oct. 11 decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit that upheld a House subpoena to Mazars USA LLP for Trump’s financial information. The full D.C. Circuit affirmed that ruling on a 8-3 vote, teeing up an appeal to the high court. Roberts issued the order because he hears emergency matters arising from the D.C. Circuit. Though the justices generally refer meritorious requests for emergency relief to the full court, they occasionally issue unilateral short-term stays pending further review. Such stays are quite common in last-minute death penalty appeals, for example. House Democrats indicated that they would not oppose a brief pause of the D.C. Circuit’s decision. House general counsel Douglas Letter told the justices that the Oversight Committee would consent to a 10-day stay on Monday morning. Trump’s personal lawyers filed a stay application at the Supreme Court Friday asking the justices to block the D.C. Circuit’s decision until the justices decide whether to hear the president’s case. “This is a case of firsts,” the application reads. “It is the first time Congress has subpoenaed the personal records of a president that predate his time in office. It is the first time Congress has issued a subpoena, under its legislative powers, to investigate the president for illegal conduct. And, for the first time, a court has upheld a congressional subpoena to the president for his personal papers.”....

As the gulf between left and right in America steadily widens, it’s gotten to the point where primary divisions in our country are not racial anymore; they’re political. According to an article by Yoni Applebaum in the latest Atlantic:In 1960, less than 5 percent of Democrats and Republicans said they’d be unhappy if their children married someone from the other party; today, 35 percent of Republicans and 45 percent of Democrats would be, according to a recent Public Religion Research Institute/Atlantic poll—far higher than the percentages that object to marriages crossing the boundaries of race and religion. As hostility rises, Americans’ trust in political institutions, and in one another, is declining.
The right sees mainstream media (MSM) as in bed with the left while the left disdains alternative media like Fox News and AM radio as reactionary. According to a recent Gallup poll, 69% of Democrats trust MSM but only 15% of Republicans and only 36% of independents do. This should concern us because it’s a major shift. Gallup first measured Americans’ trust in MSM back in 1972 when 68% said they trusted it. In 1976 it was 74%.
78% of voters say that what reporters do with political news is promote their agenda. Voters think reporters use incidents as props for their agenda rather than seeking accurately record what happened. Only 14% think that a journalist is actually reporting what happened... If a reporter found out something that would hurt their favorite candidate, only 36% of voters think that they would report that. So voters are looking at them as a political activist, not as a source of information.

When Congressman scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff began his secret impeachment hearings, he refused to allow Republican committee members to ask questions about Ciaramella. scumbag/liar-Schiff still denies reports that his staff had contact with Ciaramella before he “blew the whistle,” and coached him about how to file his original report to the NSC Inspector General.

Sperry also reports that Ciaramella worked with scumbag/liar-nObama CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan, National Security Advisor liar-Susan Rice, Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden, and DNC opposition researcher Alexandra Chalupa who was investigating the Trump Campaign in 2016. If all that is true, it’s easy to understand why scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff won’t allow questions about him. scumbag/liar-Schiff, however, insists he is protecting the “anonymous” whistleblower from potential physical harm, ostensibly from Trump.
