{ washingtontimes.com  } ~ President Trump said Sunday House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Chairman Rep. scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff should be witnesses at the Senate trial over his impeachment... “Why did Nervous liar-Nancy allow corrupt politician Shifty scumbag/liar-Schiff to lie before Congress? He must be a Witness, and so should she!” the president tweeted. This tweet comes after an earlier one on Sunday morning where he said Mrs. liar-Pelosi should be asked during her interview on ABC’s “This Week” why Mr. scumbag/liar-Schiff recited a parody during the House impeachment hearing of the president’s phone call with the Ukrainian president, attempting to make it sound like a conversation out of the movie “The Godfather.”“George @GStephanopoulos, ask Crazy liar-Nancy why she allowed Adam “Shifty” scumbag/liar-Schiff to totally make up my conversation with the Ukrainian President & read his false words to Congress and the world, as though I said it? He got caught! Ask why hearing was most unfair & biased in history?” the president tweeted. The ABC host did question Mrs. liar-Pelosi about the president’s tweet, but she did not acknowledge the question — only saying his criticism is a “boost.” “I don’t like to spend much time on his crazy tweets,” she said. House Democrats impeached the president by a party-line vote Dec. 18, charging him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, stemming from a July phone call with the Ukrainian president where he requested a probe into his political rival, former Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden. Mrs. liar-Pelosi has not transmitted the articles of impeachment to the upper chamber yet, arguing she wants assurance the trial in the Republican-controlled  Senate to be fair with witness testimony and more evidence...  https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jan/12/nancy-pelosi-adam-schiff-should-testify-senate-imp/

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Rep. Mark Meadows said Monday that congressional Republicans plan to appeal to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) over its choice to oversee the FBI’s surveillance reforms... in the wake of a damning inspector general’s report regarding the bureau’s wiretapping of Carter Page. In an interview with journalist Sara Carter, Meadows criticized the FISC’s pick of former Justice Department official David Kris to assist the court to ensure that the FBI implements the reforms. “I can tell you that a few of us, are not only appealing this to the judge who has now taken over the FISA process but we are also looking at this when it comes to renewing the FISA process within Congress,” Meadows told Carter. Judge James Boasberg, who presides over the FISC, tapped Kris on Friday to serve as what’s known as an amicus curiae. Boasberg said that Kris, who served in the scumbag/liar-nObama Justice Department, will assist the FISC by monitoring the FBI’s surveillance reforms. The IG report found “significant” errors and omissions in the FBI’s applications to surveil Page. The report said that FBI agents withheld exculpatory information related to Page, and information that was damaging to the credibility of former British spy Christopher Steele. FISC Judge Rosemary Collyer ordered the FBI on Dec. 19 to come up with a plan to address the failures laid out in the IG report. Collyer said that the FBI made “false” and “misleading” statements in applications for the Page surveillance warrants...  https://dailycaller.com/2020/01/13/mark-meadows-david-kris-fisc-fbi/?utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=11560

FBI’s New FISA Reformer Worked With scumbag/commie-Brennan On Terrorism Case

{ lidblog.com } ~ On Friday, Judge James Boasberg, the newly appointed head of the FISA court’s rotating pool of judges, selected former Justice Department official David S. Kris... to oversee the reform of FBI procedures ordered by the court. It has already been reported that Kris, who served as Assistant Attorney General for the National Security Division from 2009 to 2011, has been a vociferous critic of Devin Nunes in the last several years, and an equally vociferous defender of the FISA surveillance done on Carter Page and through Page the entire Trump team. Kris’s bias in favor of surveillance is well known. Within the last two years, he has made the comments recounted by Chuck Ross of the Daily Caller News Foundation: “It’s disturbing that Page met that legal standard and that there was probable cause to conclude he was a Russian agent,” Kris wrote in an essay March 1, 2018, at Lawfare, a blog operated by the Brookings Institution.  “The Nunes memo was dishonest. And if it is allowed to stand, we risk significant collateral damage to essential elements of our democracy,” wrote Kris, who is now a consultant at Culper Partners and frequent guest on MSNBC. Kris went as far as entertaining the possibility, first proposed by Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe, that “Nunes might be prosecuted for obstruction of justice.” Kris also wrote that the memo’s central claim that the FBI misled the FISC about Christopher Steele “was not true.” In other words, Kris comes in already biased against the reality that has emerged from the Mueller investigation and the DOJ Inspector General’s report; specifically, that there was no probable cause to conclude Page was a Russian agent, but that the FBI withheld exculpatory information on Page from the FISA court, as well as withholding information about Christopher Steele that would have cast Steele’s credibility as a confidential source and the dossier that bore his name into doubt...  https://lidblog.com/david-kris-john-brennan/
North Carolina Voter ID Ruling Puts
Security of Democracy at Stake

{ dailysignal.com } ~ It’s a cornerstone of our democracy: Government is to be of the people, by the people, and for the people, deriving its authority from the consent of the governed... These fundamental principles are at stake in North Carolina, due to a ruling from an activist federal judge on voter ID. It’s amazing that we’re still having this debate today. Presidents from Jimmy Carter to Donald Trump have advocated for the use of IDs to protect the integrity of the vote, and the Supreme Court has confirmed that states have the right to safeguard their elections. Thirty-five states have done so already, passing laws requiring voters to show identification before casting their ballots. Against that backdrop, voters in North Carolina overwhelmingly approved adding an ID requirement to the state constitution in 2018. The General Assembly quickly took up the task of drafting a law to put that mandate into place. The result was a voter ID law that is a model for the nation—making it easy to vote, but tough to cheat. We got the system in place just in time for the 2020 election cycle. When North Carolinians stepped into the voting booth, they were to have confidence that their vote was protected...   https://www.dailysignal.com/2020/01/10/north-carolina-voter-id-ruling-puts-security-of-democracy-at-stake/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=north-carolina-voter-id-ruling-puts-security-of-democracy-at-stake?utm_source=TDS_Email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MorningBell&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTVRka05qZG1ZbVE1WldFdyIsInQiOiJObFRXd3pjb2VZZFBOZWt1Z0lIbEpBeTA0UktCazN4ZDJHTVBhbVAwTTFMdmRjd0k4RHRRaW5WTEQ1NzA1M245Z1JcL0pyb3JCM1wvOE5cL1FJSGpkc3hJY0pqYmJDbDdsZ1JHNXRlY1hrREVub2RWQW50SFwvaWQwTGplenU2dmI1b20ifQ%3D%3D

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost will step down by the end of January, two senior officials — one with the Department of Homeland Security official and one with Customs and Border Protection... confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. Provost’s replacement is expected to be acting Deputy Chief Rodney Scott, a 27-year veteran of immigration enforcement. The Washington Examiner was the first to report of Provost’s forthcoming departure. It’s not immediately clear when exactly Provost will leave, but she is expected to be out by the end of January at the latest. She has held her position for nearly all of President Donald Trump’s tenure. CBP did not respond to a request for comment from the DCNF, but several people with knowledge of the situation confirmed that she is departing. Unlike other immigration-enforcement agencies during the Trump administration, Border Patrol has enjoyed steady leadership with Provost. Trump first tapped her as acting Border Patrol chief in April 2017 — only four months into his presidency. She served in that position until she was eventually promoted to a permanent capacity...

4 Potential Consequences of Passing
the Equal Rights Amendment

{ dailysignal.com } ~ A radical feminist constitutional amendment that could dramatically change the country may be on the verge of passing... Virginia’s now Democrat-controlled legislature is back in session, and there’s a strong chance it will pass the Equal Rights Amendment, which purports to grant equal rights to women under the Constitution. The amendment has passed the Virginia Senate and could be passed by the House soon. The ERA effort dates back nearly 100 years. It was passed by the House in 1971 and the Senate in 1972. Conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly led a movement that effectively killed the passage of the ERA in the 1970s, but proponents of the amendment use dubious legal theories to argue that the amendment is still alive, and that Virginia would be the 38th state needed to ratify the amendment. Heritage Foundation legal scholar Thomas Jipping noted that the key question is whether the amendment is still alive. He wrote in a report: The issue is whether the 1972 ERA remains pending before the states. If ERA advocates are correct that it is, then additional states may ratify it. If the Congressional Research Service is correct that it is not, then additional states cannot ratify it because the 1972 ERA no longer exists...

dinky/liar-Warren Knifes commie-Sanders
Ahead of the Debate

Nate Jackson:  As Democrats prepare for the all-white presidential debate tonight, Elizabeth dinky/liar-Warren chose a slightly different tack for identity politics. On Monday, a claim leaked — almost certainly from her campaign — that commie-Bernie Sanders had privately told her back in 2018 that a woman couldn’t win the White House in 2020.

Given that the anonymously sourced report came from CNN, which is less factually reliable than the satirical Babylon Bee, you can take this with a grain of salt. But the network reports, “The two agreed that if they ultimately faced each other as presidential candidates, they should remain civil and avoid attacking one another, so as not to hurt the progressive movement.”

“She could make a robust argument about the economy and earn broad support from female voters,” CNN noted, adding, “commie-Sanders responded that he did not believe a woman could win.”

commie-Sanders called the CNN story “ludicrous,” turning his fire on Donald Trump, calling him “a sexist, a racist, and a liar.” But dinky/liar-Warren said, “Among the topics that came up was what would happen if Democrats nominated a female candidate. I thought a woman could win; he disagreed.”

The other part of dinky/liar-Warren’s broadside came from Politico, which reported that the Sanders campaign is distributing volunteer talking points undermining Warren with phony kindness: “I like Elizabeth dinky/liar-Warren. In fact, she’s my second choice. But here’s my concern about her.” She is the “candidate of the elite.” Feel the Bern.

This media hit job was such an obvious setup for tonight’s debate that it’s hard to take it seriously, especially when dinky/liar-Warren’s autobiography is so littered with victimis falsehoods. But a couple of things bear mentioning. For one thing, dinky/liar-Warren peaked too soon and has been steadily losing traction in the polls in recent weeks. She needs something — anything — to generate some buzz in advance of not only the debate but the February 3 Iowa caucuses, where she’s running fourth. The candidate most occupying “her lane” is commie-Sanders, which makes him a target despite whatever detente they agreed to two years ago.

The other notable thing here is the reminder that Democrats have nothing of substance to offer beyond socialism. If it’s not failed policy ideas, it’s Trump Derangement Syndrome and identity politics.
