Jim Jordan (R-OH) is not one of them. “This bill funds things we said we wouldn’t, like Planned Parenthood, but doesn’t fund things we said we would, like the border security wall,” Jordan said in an Associated Press (AP) report. “That’s unacceptable.” “Republicans need to actually do what we said,” Jordan said. Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., who, like Jordan, is a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, warned that if Republicans want to avoid a “blue wave” in November’s midterms, the GOP needs to fund the wall in the spending bill. “You want to stanch a blue wave,” Biggs said.“Then keep your promises — and one of those promises is to build the wall.” Meanwhile, other Republicans who have vowed to defund Planned Parenthood — and even did so during the scumbag/liar-Obama administration while knowing that a presidential veto was inevitable — are now backing legislation to fund the nation’s largest abortion provider and not fund construction of a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico...

Senate Judiciary Committee reschedules

vote on Brett Kavanaugh for Friday morning

{ foxnews.com } ~ The Senate Judiciary Committee announced Tuesday that it had rescheduled a vote on Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination for Friday morning... The vote is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. ET one day after Kavanaugh and sex assault accuser Christine Blasey Ford are due to testify before lawmakers. Ford has claimed that Kavanaugh tried removing her clothes during a party when they were in high school. Kavanaugh denies her accusation. Ford sent a letter making her accusation against Kavanaugh to Judiciary Committee ranking member Dianne Fein-stein in July. On Tuesday, Fein-stein said the committee's action in scheduling a vote was "outrageous." "First Republicans demanded Dr. Blasey Ford testify immediately. Now Republicans don’t even need to hear her before they move ahead with a vote," she said in a statement. "It's clear to me that Republicans don’t want this to be a fair process." A successful vote Friday is not necessary to advance Kavanaugh's nomination to the full Senate. Current Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas received no recommendation from the Judiciary Committee in 1991, but was still confirmed by the Senate. Rush Limbaugh: dummycrats-Dems afflicted by mental problem

{ wnd.com } ~ Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday explained why the left creates movements like Black Lives Matter and #MeToo, and why they attack Supreme Court nominees like Brett Kavanaugh... It’s because they have failed, and they insist on blaming someone else, he said. In short, they have a mental problem. “When you become a member of a victim group, you are admitting that you are a failure. But you are admitting it isn’t your fault! It’s society’s at large or the cops or capitalism or religion or something. When you become a victim, you are then signaling that you are owed. People need to give you something for all of the mistreatment that you have suffered,” he Limbaugh told his listeners. He quoted two other commentaries to support his statement. One was from Jim Geraghty at National Review, who found, “The more time I spend covering politics, the more I’m convinced that a significant chunk of grassroots political activists aren’t really arguing about politics at all. These folks are actually grappling with personal psychological issues and projecting it onto the world of politics. Every problem they had with a parent is projected onto authority figures.” Geraghty continued: “Every religious person who ever scolded them or made them feel guilty becomes the embodiment of organized religion and demonstrates its menace. Because they’ve had a bad experience with a member of a minority group, that experience reveals something sinister about every member of that minority group. The cop who wrote them a ticket instead of giving them a warning demonstrates the danger and corruption of law enforcement,” and can lead to Black Lives Matter...

Avenatti releases graphic Kavanaugh allegations,

calls for new delay

{ foxnews.com } ~ Attorney Michael Avenatti, on the eve of Brett Kavanaugh's high-profile hearing to address sexual misconduct allegations... identified and released a "sworn declaration" from a woman who claims the Supreme Court nominee was involved in "gang" rapes in the early 1980s. Avenatti’s client was identified as Julie Swetnick, who further claims in the statement that Kavanaugh and a friend were "present" when she became a "victim of one of these 'gang' or 'train' rapes" in 1982. Kavanaugh issued a strong denial in response, saying in a statement: “This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone. Latinos Not Singing dummycrats-Dems' Tune? 

by Political Editors:  That coming dummycrats-Democrat “blue wave” maybe more the stuff of leftist daydreams than future reality, especially with reports that one of the identity groups Dems are counting on to turn out in big numbers come November might not. While Democrat voter enthusiasm has been high among women, another demographic group dummycrats-Dems have historically counted on is showing signs of being less enthused: Latino voters.

             Amy Walter of The Cook Political Report writes, “Latino voter drop-off in midterm elections is nothing new, but the thinking was that President Trump’s rhetoric and policies around immigration, especially the issue of separating children from their parents at the border, would be a catalyst for higher Latino engagement in 2018. At this point, however, recent polling by New York Times Upshot/Siena College and Monmouth University, suggests that’s not the case.”
               This should not be that surprising given the fact that Trump’s booming economy has lowered unemployment levels to record lows across all demographic groups, especially among Hispanics. So with record-high employment coupled with the fact that Latinos in general are not culturally radical leftists, what would motivate Latinos to vote against Trump?
               By the way, Trump’s rhetoric on securing the border has not alienated a majority of Latinos, a fact demonstrated by a recent special election in Texas. As Texas Monthly reported, “Republican Pete Flores, backed by endorsements from [Gov. Greg] Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, [Sen. Ted] Cruz and … John Cornyn, won a stunning upset victory over well-knowndummycrats-Democrat Pete Gallego in a San Antonio special election to capture a state Senate seat. The election was to fill the remaining term of disgraced former state Senator Carlos Uresti, who resigned his seat after being convicted in federal court of eleven felony charges. This marks the first time a Hispanic Republican has been elected to the Texas Senate and the first time the Senate has had twenty-one Republican senators.”
               We’d like to think that Hispanics appreciate a president who enforces the law. Millions of Hispanics are law-abiding and don’t appreciate what 22 million illegals have done to their communities.
