Flynn hearing canceled after lawyer
claims FBI manipulated files

{ foxnews.com } ~ The federal judge presiding over the case of ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has canceled a hearing scheduled for next week, citing his lawyers’ latest motion... which made a slew of misconduct allegations against the government while seeking access to supposedly exculpatory evidence. U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan had scheduled a hearing for Nov. 7 with Flynn’s attorney and federal prosecutors in the long-running case, but said Monday it would no longer take place. “In view of the parties’ comprehensive briefing concerning 109 Defendant’s Motion to Compel Production of Brady Material, the Court cancels the motion hearing previously scheduled for November 7, 2019,” Sullivan wrote Monday. The cancellation comes just days after Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell filed a 161-page brief demanding the government produce all evidence related to Flynn, while urging the court to “dismiss the entire prosecution for outrageous government misconduct” and hold the prosecutors in contempt. “#BREAKING: Judge Sullivan has canceled our hearing in early November because of the ‘comprehensive briefing’ of the parties,” Powell tweeted late Monday. It's unclear whether the cancellation signals the judge is considering Powell's demands. The explosive court document, filed last week, alleged that FBI agents manipulated official records of Flynn’s 2017 interview that led to him being charged with lying to investigators. The entire case against Flynn stemmed from the 2017 FBI interview, in which Flynn was asked about his conversations with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Flynn ultimately pleaded guilty to making false statements regarding those conversations during his interview, as part of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Powell alleged in the court filings that FBI officials manipulated Flynn’s FBI 302 — a form used by agents to report or summarize interviews. It is not clear who may have done the alleged editing, though ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok was involved in the original interview. “Those changes added an unequivocal statement that ‘Flynn stated he did not’ — in response to whether Mr. Flynn had asked Kislyak to vote in a certain manner or slow down the UN vote on sanctions,” Powell wrote. “This is a deceptive manipulation because, as the notes of the agents show, Mr. Flynn was not even sure he had spoken to Russia/Kislyak on the issue. He had talked to dozens of countries.” Powell also alleged that agents added: “or if Kislyak described any Russian response to a request by Flynn.” “That question and answer does not appear in the notes, yet it was made into a criminal offense,” Powell wrote. “The draft also shows that the agents moved a sentence to make it seem to be an answer to a question it was not.” Powell also alleged that on Jan. 23, 2017 – the day before the FBI interviewed Flynn at the White House – “the upper echelon of the FBI met to orchestrate” strategies that would have Flynn talk “in such a way as to keep from alerting him from understanding that he was being interviewed in a criminal investigation of which he was the target.” “In short, they planned to deceive him about the entire scenario, and keep him ‘unguarded,’” Powell claimed...

Jordan was discussing the whistleblower when MSNBC host Ali Velshi cut off the press conference. “He would not let the witness — look, the Democrats run out here — oh, the Republicans are trying to figure out who the whistle-blower is,” Jordan said. “We’re trying to figure out who the witness list is.” Then, right as Jordan was discussing House Intelligence Chairman scumbag-Adam Schiff’s relationship with the whistleblower, Velsi ended the network’s coverage of the press conference.“It seems interesting to me that Chairman scumbag-Schiff is so sensitive, I mean, I pointed out last week there are 435 members of Congress. One of them — one of them only one of them knows,” Jordan said before the network cut him off. scumbag-Schiff was reported to have been in contact with the whistleblower who filed a complaint about a phone call that occurred earlier this year between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which spurred the current impeachment inquiry. Dems Release Impeachment Resolution That
Puts scumbag-Adam Schiff in the 'Driver's Seat'

It outlines the new authorities Democrats will have during the impeachment inquiry. For instance, it will grant House Intelligence Chairman scumbag-Adam Schiff the power to call public hearings. As Politico's Andrew Desiderio put it, this will put scumbag-Schiff "in the driver's seat." The resolution also reads that Republicans can suggest subpoenas or witnesses as part of the inquiry. But, those must be submitted in writing and can be vetoed by Democrats. The measure establishes procedures for the transfer of evidence to the Judiciary Committee, and sets forth due process rights for the president and his Counsel. Republicans stormed recent closed door testimonies demanding that Democrats grant Trump the same due process as was granted to former Presidents scumbag/liar-Clinton and Nixon. Roberts Jr.... presiding over the historic proceedings from the dais in the upper chamber. Mr. Trump, who has clashed with Chief Justice Roberts over the perceived political bias of the federal courts, would have to count on him for a fair hearing when the fate of his presidency hangs in the balance. It’s a prospect that has caused rumblings in Washington that the chief justice should recuse himself. John Cardillo, a conservative radio personality and host on Newsmax TV, sounded the recusal alarm. “There is already a crisis of confidence among the American people that we have a fair system of justice. When you have a chief justice of the Supreme Court overtly making comments that are derogatory to the president of the United States, take all speculation out of the process,” he said. What’s more, the recusal question extends down the bench of the high court. All of the justices likely will play roles in deciding Congress’ subpoena power over the executive branch as House Democrats conduct an impeachment inquiry. Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg have publicly commented on Mr. Trump in recent years. Justice Ginsburg went as far as calling him a “faker,” and the chief justice sent a sharp rebuke to the commander in chief over the political independence of the judiciary. The issue of potential bias was raised about a year after Chief Justice Roberts released an unusual statement indirectly firing back at the president over his politicization of judges based on the presidents who appointed them. “We do not have scumbag/liar-nObama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or scumbag/liar-Clinton judges,” Chief Justice Roberts said in a statement in November 2018 issued from the court’s public information office...

A letter from Sens. Ron Johnson, R., Wis., and Chuck Grassley, R., Iowa, published on Monday called on the inspector general for the intelligence community to look into "apparent leaks" from FBI personnel amid the revelation of texts between two employees in Dec. 2016 which referred to their "sisters" beginning to "leak like mad." From the White House front lawn on Tuesday morning, Conway told "Fox & Friends" hosts that she believes it's crucial to determine whether or not these leaks occurred and how they may have impacted the Mueller investigation. "I for one, as a citizen of this country, want to know if intelligence officers were leaking information to the press," Conway said. "Why not? We have to see who the leakers were. And the leakees. I think a few of them look a little nervous," she continued. In addition to the possibility of leaks about the investigation from the intelligence community to the press, the letter from Johnson and Grassley, chairmen of the Finance Committee and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, respectively, argued that it's imperative to determine whether the FBI had the right to implement a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to monitor former Trump aide Carter Page. Conway echoed their concerns on Tuesday, saying that it's necessary to determine the root of Mueller's investigation, which she referred to as "definitive, authoritative and exhaustive." Given the documented track record of the previous administration, that skepticism is itself incredible. For those with selective or convenient memories, here’s a reminder of the machinations perpetrated by one of the most corrupt administrations in the history of the nation.On Jan. 3, 2014, Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders sent a letter to National Security Agency (NSA) Director Gen. Keith Alexander. “I am writing today to ask you one simple question,” it stated. “Has the NSA spied, or is the NSA currently spying on members of Congress or other American elected officials.”
commie-Sanders was concerned the NSA “has been involved in listening on the phone calls made by government leaders of countries such as Brazil, Germany, France, Mexico and other U.S. allies,” characterizing that surveillance as something that has caused “serious foreign policy setbacks for the United States, weakened our ability to work cooperatively with our allies, and caused an increase in anti-American sentiment throughout the world.”
The answer to commie-Sanders’s question was an unequivocal “yes.” An April 26, 2017 ruling by Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court concluded the NSA had conducted five years of illegal surveillance on American citizens, engendering a “very serious” constitutional issue.
Four years earlier, on June 6, 2013, former DNI Director scumbag-James Clapper had blatantly lied to Senate Intelligence Committee member scumbag-Ron Wyden (D-OR) when scumbag-Wyden asked him if his agency spied on Americans. “No,” scumbag-Clapper answered.
One month later — and only after giving multiple, contradictory explanations for his lie — scumbag-Capper apologized for his “clearly erroneous” response.
In 2014, CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan publicly lied about CIA spying — on Senate staffers. “As far as the allegations of the CIA hacking into Senate computers, nothing could be further from the truth,” scumbag/commie-Brennan told NBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “We wouldn’t do that. I mean, that’s just beyond the, you know, the scope of reason in terms of what we do.”
Except that they did. Moreover, a report by the agency’s inspector general “also found that C.I.A. officers read the emails of the Senate investigators and sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department based on false information,” The New York Times reported. As a result, scumbag/commie-Brennan apologized to members of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
The “consequences” for lying to the public and Congress? scumbag/commie-Brennan’s an MSNBC/NBC contributor who has accused Trump of treason. scumbag-Clapper works for CNN. Both men — key coup co-conspirators — flacked the “Russian collusion” hoax for two years.
In 2010, the scumbag/liar-nObama administration weaponized the IRS. Led by liar-Lois Lerner, the tax agency began unjustifiably targeting tax-exempt conservative groups, who were given additional scrutiny if their applications included words like “Tea Party” or “Patriot.” The IRS apologized in 2013. During the investigation of Lerner’s activities, Americans were informed that two years of her emails — as well as those of six other agency officials — were “lost” and her hard drive was “scratched.” Some of them were ultimately recovered, and they demonstrated that liar-Lerner and company were trying to cover up their activity. Moreover, the agency’s IG asserted that it was able to find those messages on backup tapes the IRS never bothered to look at — even as it was telling Congress all possible recovery efforts had been exhausted.
Congress found liar-Lerner in contempt when she professed her innocence and then took the Fifth.
Her “reckoning?” She retired in 2013 with a full pension.
Fox News reporter James Rosen was the scumbag/liar-nObama administration’s next target. Beginning in 2010, the scumbag-Eric Holder-led DOJ collected Rosen’s telephone records, tracked his movements at the State Department and seized his personal emails. Thirty additional phone numbers were also targeted, including those associated with “two phone numbers at the White House, at least five numbers associated with Fox News, and one that has the same area code and exchange as Rosen’s personal-cell-phone number,” reporter Ryan Lizza revealed in 2013.
At almost the same time the Rosen saga was being uncovered in 2013, the Associated Press revealed the DOJ also spied on AP reporters beginning in 2010, affecting as a many as 100 staffers.
A 2014 document dump revealed reporter Sharyl Attkisson was also targeted by the DOJ for her exposure of the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal that earned scumbag-Holder a contempt of Congress citation for withholding documents related to that operation. Attkisson also filed several damning reports exposing the administration’s lies about the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack. Attkisson asserted — and CBS confirmed — that the reporter’s computer “was accessed by an unauthorized, external, unknown party on multiple occasions late in 2012.”
In 2015, The Wall Street journal revealed that the NSA’s efforts to eavesdrop on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his aides also captured conversations of U.S. lawmakers and members of American Jewish groups.
In 2016, following Trump’s nomination, scumbag/liar-nObama National Security Advisor liar-Susan Rice revealed an increasing interest in “unmasking” Americans. She is topped by U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (UN) liar-Samantha Power who, despite having no intelligence-rated function, unmasked hundreds of Americans. liar-Rice initially lied about her efforts, and Power testified that other intelligence officials used her name.
After Trump was elected, but before his inauguration, the scumbag/liar-nObama administration expanded the ability of the NSA to share information with the 16 other agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community.
In 2017, scumbag-Clapper and and former Deputy Attorney General liar-Sally Yates admitted that they reviewed classified documents in which Trump, his associates, or members of Congress had been unmasked.
And as most American are now well aware, the Steele dossier — discredited as “unverified” by Steele himself — was used to precipitate Robert Mueller’s investigation of the Trump administration’s “Russian collusion.” That a dossier ostensibly compiled by an ex-British intelligence agent, purporting to include intel provided by former Russian foreign intelligence chief Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Vladimir Putin aide Vladislav Surkov, was paid for by scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC?
Conspicuously ignored.
Last week, we learned that U.S. Attorney John Durham’s ongoing probe into potential misconduct by FBI and the DOJ has become a full-fledged criminal investigation. The move gives Durham the power to subpoena witnesses, file charges, and impanel fact-finding grand juries.
Almost immediately, the same Democrat/Media Complex that lied for two years about Russian collusion asserted that the DOJ is being used for “political retribution,” and/or to “deliver a political victory for President Trump.”
A victory for Trump? Hopefully one for the entire nation. “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer warned in 2017.
scumbag-Schumer should explain how a cabal of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats could go after any American, much less a duly elected president. And since scumbag-Schumer was first elected to the Senate in 1998, why would he countenance such blatant lawlessness for more than 20 years?
