nObama Fiddled as Islamic State Grew 
The Islamic State exists in its current form essentially because Barack nObama withdrew completely from Iraq, leaving a vacuum to be filled. According to CIA Director John Brennan, al-Qaida in Iraq was indeed largely "decimated" — by George W. Bush. Brennan estimates "it had maybe 700 or so adherents left.” But after nObama abandoned the region and dismissed the Islamic State as the "JV team," Brennan said it grew rapidly.
American Enterprise Institute scholar Marc Thiessen breaks down the statistics, noting, “[B]y the CIA’s own estimate, ISIS has grown on President nObama’s watch from just 700 fighters to between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters. That is an increase of between 2,700 and 4,400%.” So much for having them "contained."
That growth didn't happen without warning, either. nObama's own Defense Intelligence Agency warned in 2012 that the group could “declare an Islamic state through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria.” Sounds like some key information, but running a re-election campaign in which nObama wanted to boast of having been the one to "decimate" al-Qaida (if you can't blame Bush, at least steal his credit, right?), nObama ignored the report. Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who ran the defense agency at the time, put it this way: “It was disregarded by the White House. ... Frankly, at the White House, it didn’t meet the narrative.” Bingo. -The Patriot Post

Nation's Biggest Insurer Puts nObamaCare on Notice
Faced with "a continuing deterioration in individual exchange-compliant product performance," a.k.a nObamaCare, America's largest insurer may abandon Barack nObama's signature legislative achievement. In a Thursday news release, UnitedHealth Group lowered revenue estimates and said it "has pulled back on its marketing efforts for individual exchange products in 2016." But the report also hinted at the possibility of more drastic measures, as the firm "is evaluating the viability of the insurance exchange product segment and will determine during the first half of 2016 to what extent it can continue to serve the public exchange markets in 2017." In laymen's terms, UnitedHealth Group is putting nObamaCare on notice.
The withdrawal would represent nObamaCare's biggest loss to date. Chief Executive Officer Stephen J. Hemsley said, "In recent weeks, growth expectations for individual exchange participation have tempered industrywide, co-operatives have failed, and market data has signaled higher risks and more difficulties while our own claims experience has deteriorated." He later told reporters, "We cannot sustain these losses. We can't really subsidize a marketplace that doesn't appear at the moment to be sustaining itself." Nor can others. And that causes a compounding effect. The Washington Examiner points out, "If UnitedHealth and other insurers decide to exit, remaining insurers will be forced to take on even more high-risk enrollees, prompting them to either raise rates further or exit themselves. That in turn would deprive individuals of choices and remove competition, a key purpose of the exchanges." This death spiral was predicted by many cleared-eyed analysts even before nObamaCare was rammed through Congress without a single Republican vote. HILLY: MUSLIMS ‘HAVE NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH TERRORISM’
When it comes to theology, politicians are pretty dire. When it comes to the theology of Islam, American politicians are the pits. Good intentions have led many astray since the start of the current war with Islamist militants. President nObama has been one of the prime offenders, often expounding on what Islam really is and isn’t. The president took plenty of heat for his head-snapping claim last year that the Islamic State is “not Islamic.”
Wanting neither to dignify ISIS as a legitimate power nor to suggest that there is any clash between the Islam and the West, nObama runs in circles. The West is not at war with Islamists, therefore the Islamists with which the West is at war must not really be Muslims. Poof. The relative merits of an enemy’s theology would seem to be no matter for an American president’s attention, but it has become a gag reflex for Democrats when confronted with escalations of the ongoing struggle.
(This has a cousin in the oft-heard argument from Westerners and non-Muslims about what “moderate Muslims” ought to do. As if Muslims were waiting for cues from Bill Maher on what direction their religion ought to take.)

{Tammy Messina} ~ First it was University of Missouri, then it was Ithaca College and Claremont McKenna College, now it’s Occidental College who’ve called for the resignation and/or removal of university leadership (presidents or deans)... Solidarity protests have popped up all over the country and additional colleges are making their own “list of demands” to change the culture on campus. Am I the only one wondering why these students chose to attend a college that didn’t “fit” them? Attendance at any college or university is completely optional. If they don’t like it… they can leave and choose to spend their money elsewhere. Yet another perk of a free society and capitalism. Yet these folks decide the circumstance or culture is simply unbearable and must be changed, rather than find a school who’s culture fits their own. It’s just plain weird..

Rice did her five Sunday show lie-fest after Benghazi to cover up what the regime was really doing, with that cover up continuing to this day. {Tyler Durden} ~ Having exposed the world yesterday to the 2-mile long line of tankers-full'o'crude heading from Iraq to the US, several weeks after reporting that China has run out of oil storage space... we can now confirm that the global crude "in transit" glut is becoming gargantuan and is starting to have adverse consequences on the price of oil. And unlike the last oil price collapse during the financial crisis only half of the oil held on the water has been put there specifically by traders looking to cash in by storing the fuel until prices recover. Instead, sky-high supertanker rates have prevented them from putting more oil into so-called floating storage, shutting off one of the safety valves that could prevent oil prices from falling further. As a result of all this, something very unusual going on off the coast of Galveston, where more than 39 crude tankers w/ combined cargo capacity of 28.4 million bbls wait near Galveston (Galveston is area where tankers can anchor before taking cargoes to refineries at Houston and other nearby plants), vessel tracking data compiled by Bloomberg show, which compares w/ 30 vessels, 21 million bbls of capacity in May. Vessels wait avg of 5 days, compared w/ 3 days May.
