Medicare for All Means Private
Insurance for None
by Hunt Lawrence and Daniel J. Flynn } ~ Democrats won on the issue of healthcare in 2018 because they campaigned on protecting the coverage Americans possessed... For the 2020 presidential primaries, several Democrats run on taking away that coverage. “Let’s eliminate all of that,” lowlife-Kamala Harris says of private insurance. “Let’s move on.” Kirsten Gillibrand calls abolishing private insurance “an urgent goal.” “Under Medicare for all we cover all basic healthcare needs, so they’re not going to be there to do that,” commie-Bernie Sanders says of existing insurance companies. “I suppose if you want to make yourself look a little bit more beautiful, you want to work on that nose or your ears, they can do that.” The words strike as more reckless if more honest than “if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it.” Medicare for All, as the fine print details, means private insurance for none. Pundits call this an “unforced error.” But that phrase does not fully grasp the dynamics involved in ideological compulsions. Some powerful, irresistible force moves these Democrats to remove their liberal masks to reveal Venezuelan-style socialists. They imagine their hatred for the president so near-universal as to make his defeat a fait accompli and enthusiasm for socialism such an unstoppable wave that they resolve to not just catch it first but to be seen catching it first.Democratic candidates call healthcare a right in mantra-like fashion. Gillibrand, for instance, insisted “health care must be a right, not a privilege” at the rally last week reintroducing the Medicare for All bill. But in what kind of a country do you get to exercise a right only through the government? Imagine if in affirming a right to free speech one added the caveat that one could communicate only through government-run publications, websites, and broadcast stations. Or, if the freedom of religion found expression only through the one true church established by the state. Or, if the right to transportation meant solely a ride on a smelly, sweaty city bus. This makes a farce of any sane understanding of rights, as does the notion of a “right” to healthcare exercised through insuring that nobody possesses the right to obtain healthcare save from the state. This all seems the stuff of Five Year Plans and Great Leaps Forward. Yet, five major presidential candidates — commie-Bernie Sanders, scumbag-Cory Booker, Elizabeth dinky-Warren, lowlife-Kamala Harris, and Kirsten Gillibrand — serve as sponsors in the Senate of the Medicare for All bill... If you buy into this you are a bigger fool then those socialist are.
9 Apocalyptic Lies Fed To Americans
About The Republican Tax Bill
by Madeline Osburn
{/} ~ Monday is the first Tax Day under the new Republican tax bill passed in December 2017, and the results are not what Democrats and their media apparatus predicted... Many Americans are discovering that they are not only alive and well, but indeed paying less taxes. As Ben Casselman and Jim Tankersley pointed out in The New York Times, there is a disparity between what Americans thought they would be paying the IRS this year, and what they actually paid. This myth, “appears to flow from a sustained — and misleading — effort by liberal opponents of the law to brand it as a broad middle-class tax increase.” What falsities did these liberal opponents tell the American people would happen pending the passing of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act? Here are a few of the most outrageous examples of fear-mongering.

1. 10,000 People Will Be Killed Every Year
Economist and former Treasury secretary Larry Summers wrote in a Washington Post op-ed that “the conclusion would follow that the tax bill would result in 10,000 extra deaths per year.” On CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” he explained why he thought the bill was “very dangerous.” “When people lose health insurance, they’re less likely to get preventive care, they’re more likely to defer health care they need, and ultimately they’re more likely to die,” he said.

2. The Tax Bill Is ‘Akin To Rape’
Bruce Bartlett, a writer and former Treasury official, said the bill would not create a single job, that Republicans want the poor to pay more taxes to force them to work more, and that the bill is “really akin to rape.”

The US Must Stop Iran's Takeover of Yemen
by Majid Rafizadeh } ~ One of the primary revolutionary ideals to which the ruling clerics of the Islamic Republic of Iran are dedicated to upholding is not to limit the implementation of its version of Islamic laws to just Iran... The ruling clerics are also committed to exporting Iran's revolutionary principle and expanding the fundamentalist mission to other nations. How do they carry this out? By effectively taking over other countries. Lebanon,  through Iran's proxy Hizballah, was the first. Then came Syria, and finally, Iraq -- with the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip  waiting in the wings. With each victory, the ruling mullahs of Iran have grown increasingly lethal and increasingly bold. At present, and for several years, Iran has set its sights on Yemen. This is not a random or new philosophy. This mission is part of Iran's constitution. Its preamble states that it "provides the necessary basis for ensuring the continuation of the Revolution at home and abroad." The document goes on to say that Iran's Army and Revolutionary Guards "will be responsible not only for guarding and preserving the frontiers of the country, but also for fulfilling the ideological mission of Shiite jihad in God's way; that is, extending the sovereignty of God's Shiite law throughout the world ... in the hope that this century will witness the establishment of a universal holy government and the downfall of all others."...
The Moral Case For Israel Annexing
The West Bank—And Beyond
by Jason Hill } ~ The April 2019 election victory for Benjamin Netanyahu will see him serve a record fifth term as Israeli prime minister and form a new right-wing coalition government... It also brings the promise of a commitment Netanyahu made to the nation during his campaign: That he would annex Jewish settlements in occupied Palestinian territories. Vowing to extend sovereignty without distinguishing between settlement blocks and the isolated settlements, Netanyahu promised not to transfer any sovereignty to the Palestinians. His victory in the elections will, hopefully, see the enactment of Netanyahu’s promise. Israel has the moral right to annex all of the West Bank even Area C for a plethora of reasons. Israel’s Mistake Was Allowing the Palestinian Pretense. Israel made an altruistic mistake toward the Palestinian people after the 1967 defensive war with Jordan. Rather than regard them as “war settlers” or refugees or, after legally occupying conquered territory, as “illegal occupants,” they made the Palestinian people their political and moral problem. After victory, the “war settlers” could have been seen as enemies of the state: supporters of the Fatah Palestine Liberation Organization Charter, which basically calls for the end of Jewry in the region. Under a malevolent and illiberal regime, they would have been regarded and treated as such, not as Israel did treat them: as human beings with specific, inalienable rights. Under a different set of political sensibilities, the Palestinian people would have been militarily removed from the area because, morally speaking, after the 1967 war, they never belonged there. The proper response from Israel should have been to immediately annex the land and make the people there the responsibility of their original political homeland: Jordan...
European Trade Channel with Iran May be
Used to Circumvent Russia Sanctions
by Matthew Zweig } ~  Britain, France, and Germany launched a special trade channel in January that aims to facilitate European business with Iran in a manner not susceptible to U.S. sanctions...
The channel has not been used much, for fear of U.S. sanctions and other corporate risk. However, there is a growing likelihood that the EU could use this trade channel, or develop one like it, to circumvent U.S. sanctions against Russia. The Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX) for promoting trade with Iran was the European response to the U.S.’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran. The instrument uses a barter system to provide Iran financial inducements to ensure that it does not also exit the nuclear deal. But INSTEX faces significant  obstacles, such as mandatory reporting on Iran-related transactions for any company listed on the U.S. stock exchange. The EU’s use of the INSTEX or a similar mechanism may now also be used to circumvent U.S. bilateral and secondary sanctions on Russia. The flashpoint will likely be Nord Stream 2, a natural gas pipeline project criticized by both the Trump administration and many U.S. legislators that would deliver Russian natural gas to Germany directly via the Baltic Sea. While the United States and EU coordinated on most Ukraine-related sanctions on Russia, U.S. sanctions against Russia in the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act of 2017 (CAATSA) has resulted in a divergence of views and approaches. CAATSA dramatically strengthened the U.S. sanctions architecture, mandating secondary sanctions against anyone that does business with a sanctioned entity. This put European companies with considerable Russia exposure in the crosshairs...
'The Sky Is Falling! We're All Going to Die!'
Roger Helle:  I have to say, I was somewhat troubled when I heard that in just 10 years, life as we know it is going to end … or something. When I listened to the explanation of what we needed to do to save the world, I was even more concerned.

I guess my problem is, being older and still having my faculties, I seem to remember in the 1970s Time  magazine had an article about the coming Ice Age. Still waiting! In 2008, scumbag-Al Gore predicted that because of global warming the East Coast would be under water in 10 years. Wait — that would have been 2018. I was in New York City in January and it “seemed” to be okay.

Several years ago, the ice pack in Antarctica was not shrinking but growing — at a rate of 100 billion tons per year. Wow! Billions? That seems like a lot, but I’m no expert; I could be missing something. I don’t know where you live, but I’m happy if the weatherman gets it right for the upcoming weekend. Yet we have experts telling us what will happen in 100 years. Now it’s down to only 10 years.

I am amazed at how much commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez learned while working as a bartender. She must have really studied at her job. Her degree was in economics and international relations. We’re told “climate change” is settled science. I was in school before Time  predicted the coming Ice Age and I was told that science is never settled, because we are always learning new things.

But I want to keep an open mind, so I looked into what we need to do. I have to say, I will miss hamburgers. I know cows fart a lot (I’m a senior citizen, so I relate) but still, no burgers? No more air travel? No planes? Well, no planes for most of us. The really smart people will still need to get around and we can’t fault them for that, can we?

I will look forward to having my home rebuilt to be energy efficient, I guess. Will I have to pay for it or will the government do it? As all of us have to do that, seems like that could be expensive. But if that is what we need to do, I guess I will just have to get with the program.

Electricity is going to be pretty hard to get when all we have is wind and solar power. I mean, I live in the South, but we don’t have wind like when I lived in Nebraska! We have sunshine, so that may work … some days. France’s nuclear plants produce nearly 70% of that country’s power. Wow! I mean if the French can do that, we surely can. Wait, that’s not allowed either; no nuclear plants.

The proponents of the Green New Deal really care for us. Trust them! Just give them everything we have and they will see that it happens. There is one thing of some concern. It seems we are the only country that is supposed to destroy our economy and way of life to save the world. What about the rest of the world? What will they do?

We could totally destroy our economy, the greatest and freest in the world, and it will make no difference if other nations do nothing. Has Congresswoman commie-Ocasio-Cortez floated this by Russia, China, India, and most of Africa? I’m not hearing anything. Those nations alone would completely eliminate any change we “might” make; especially when we do not have conclusive proof that humans can change the weather on this planet.

Congresswoman, get some buy-in from these other nations and get back to us!

Obama Lies Again: – Ignores That The Year After Signing The Stimulus More Than (4) Million Jobs Were Lost

Former President Obama, the only President in US history who had his FBI and other Intel agencies spy on the opposition party candidate, claims that he created the great economy that Americans are enjoying today. The only thing Obama created was debt and massive job losses with his horrible economic recovery.

Yesterday the former President tweeted an effort to take credit for President Trump’s successful economy:

Joe Hoft@joehoft

Of course another @BarackObama lie. He can’t open his mouth without lying. 11 years ago the US lost (4.3) million jobs over the next 12 months. Horrible liar.

Barack Obama  @BarackObama

Eleven years ago today, near the bottom of the worst recession in generations, I signed the Recovery Act, paving the way for more than a decade of economic growth and the longest streak of job creation in American history.

President Obama’s policies were a disgrace and a failure. He doubled the national debt in spite of zero interest rates from the Fed. His recovery was the worst in US history.

Also, Obama’s assertion is just plain false. The ‘Stimulus’ was passed in February 2009 right after Obama took over the Presidency. He promised to not pass any bills for at least a week to allow for the bills to be read by the people but lied as soon as he was sworn in. The Stimulus was hundreds and hundreds of pages of government handouts to Democrat districts and it was close to $1 million. This was not what America needed and it led to the Tea Party.

Far-left Wikipedia has this to say about the Stimulus:

Note that in his infinite wisdom, NYT economist Paul Krugman is credited with arguing that “the stimulus was far smaller than the economic crisis warranted”. (He also said the markets would crash and burn if President Trump was elected President.)

The data shows that the 12 months after Obama’s stimulus, the US lost 4.3 million jobs:

In Obama’s first three years he netted a loss of 1.5 million jobs compared to President Trump who has added more than 6.7 million jobs.

When it comes to the economy, the billionaire schools the community organizer every time.
