Coronavirus infects 66 more passengers
on Diamond Princess, bringing total to 130

{ foxnews.com } ~ Japan may test every person aboard the Diamond Princess for the coronavirus after it was determined Monday that there were 66 new cases... on the quarantined ship docked at a Yokohama port. The Japan Times, which first reported the increase, said the passengers will be able to disembark after test results become available. Princess Cruises confirmed to Fox News the number of new cases.The passengers have been confined on the ship for six days with limited outdoor activities. The New York Times reported that the ship is "host to the highest concentration of the coronavirus cases outside China." The report said 2,600 passengers have been holed up in their cabins, and some have spoken about their anxiety. "My whole thing is just to stay calm, because no matter what, I’m here. But every day it’s anxiety-provoking when we see the ambulances line up on the side of the ship," one passenger told the paper. On Monday, China’s health ministry said another 3,062 cases had been reported over the previous 24 hours, raising the Chinese mainland’s total to 40,171. For, unnoticed until recently, another court proceeding advances, and win or lose... this matter can shake the globalist, deep state swamp off its here-to-now protected foundation. The case in question is Lawrence W. Doyle and John F. Moynihan Petitioners v Internal Revenue Service Respondents, a case where allegedly corrupt actions of the Internal Revenue Service itself may fall under the microscope. It likely involves as yet unprosecuted crimes by “charities” that are still corruptly directed by household names. In December 2018, Doyle and Moynihan threw down ample evidence of malfeasance by the network of loosely-affiliated scumbag/liar-Clinton Foundation “charities” before a Congressional oversight hearing chaired by Congressman Mark Meadows: Most in the mainstream media ignored their testimony and its potential implications, but Sara Carter noticed and her work was picked up by the massive audience of concerned citizens who follow zerohedge.com Meanwhile, U.S. Attorney John Huber, who was slated to appear, did not bother to attend or even to send a stand-in. All was quiet on the Huber front after the December 2018 hearing until an unconfirmed report erupted in corporate or billionaire-owned media early in January 2020, starting with this piece in The Washington Post. House Democrats pass bill allowing illegal immigrants to seek damages from employers

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ The House of Representatives passed a bill on Friday that would make illegal immigrants eligible for damages from their employer if their labor rights are violated... The bill, passed almost entirely by Democrats, aims to expand labor protections, boost unions, and end worker misclassification. The bill also effectively abolishes state right-to-work laws. “The penalties for violating the National Labor Relations Act are weaker than those for violating other labor and employment laws, and workers lack a private right of action to pursue relief on their own,” a Committee on Education and Labor fact sheet said. “Workers are frequently misclassified as independent contractors or supervisors, and thus excluded from the protections afforded to employees covered by the NLRA.” Currently, illegal immigrants are not able to seek compensation from the NLRB if their rights are violated by their employers, which is something the bill aims to change along with attempting to allow illegal immigrants to be able to seek damages if they are wrongfully terminated. The Federation for American Immigration Reform released a statement warning that this bill could prevent employers from firing an employee who is in the country illegally. “In addition to owing back pay and other damages from so-called unfair labor practices, the PRO Act subjects employers to civil penalties of up to $100,000,” the statement read. “Under this bill, if an employer makes the admirable decision of firing an illegal worker to hire an American instead, they could face an unfair labor practice charge alleging that the illegal alien was fired for union status rather than being here illegally. This is not right.” Oklahoma Republican Kevin Hern objected to the bill, specifically the power it would give to unions. “Where workers have previously had the freedom to choose whether or not to pay fees and join a union, they will now be forced to pay membership fees or lose their job,” he said. “This will put immeasurable power in the hands of union bosses." AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka expressed support for the bill and warned lawmakers who oppose it that they won't have the support of the labor movement going forward. It is expected that this bill will be dead on arrival in the Senate. .

Lindsey Graham complained that the media are turning a blind eye to "legitimate" concerns about loose lips liar-Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine... "I just think the media's so in the tank over this issue, it makes me sick to my stomach," the South Carolina Republican said Sunday on CBS's Face the Nation. "I don't think you take it seriously." Graham, an ally of President Trump, was asked about his pledge to continue investigations into the loose lips liar-Bidens, something Trump sought and was impeached for by the House last year. "I do want to say, though, that to this point, nothing has been in any way substantiated in regard to corruption when it comes to loose lips liar-Joe Biden himself," host Margaret Brennan said. "His son served on the board and was paid for it."Graham cautioned anyone seeking information on the loose lips liar-Bidens, including Trump's personal attorney Rudy Guliani, to be careful with any information coming out of Ukraine as it could be Russian propaganda. "Rudy says he’s got 'the goods.' All I can tell Rudy and anybody else, if you got some information connected to the Ukraine against anybody, go to the Intel Committee, not me," he said, earlier having stated, "Democrats are being played, and I’m not going to be played." Hunter Biden made $50,000 a month while sitting on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company, while his father was still vice president. Trump, during a July 2019 phone call, asked the president of Ukraine to open investigations into the loose lips liar-Bidens and was later impeached for abusing his power and obstructing Congress. He was acquitted by the Senate on Wednesday..

The Democrats' Disgraceful Hail Mary

{ townhall.com } ~ I don't know about you, but I'm a little tired of Rep. scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff and the Democratic horde's portraying every charge against President Donald Trump as Trump's effort to interfere with this or that election.
In his opening statement at the Senate impeachment trial, Lead House Impeachment Manager scumbag/liar-Schiff, puffed up with false indignation, did it again. President Trump made an "attempt to use the powers of the presidency to cheat in an election," said scumbag/liar-Schiff, and he must be impeached.
He's claiming that the 2020 election, which won't happen until November, will be illegitimate because of Trump's dastardly telephone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"The president's misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box, for we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won," he said. Come on! How dim does he think the viewing public is?
The only thing illegitimate is scumbag/liar-Schiff's argument -- and as an experienced former prosecutor, he knows it. Even viewing Trump's actions in the most negative light, nothing happened beyond a conversation. Neither the conversation nor anything that resulted from it could hurt the eventual Democratic nominee's chances of winning. The same cannot be said, however, about this endless witch hunt against President Trump. The same cannot be said about all the vicious lies scumbag/liar-Schiff and company have leveled against Trump. Almost everything they've done is aimed at "interfering" with the 2016 and 2020 elections, if I may borrow that term.
They used to claim Trump just tried to interfere with the 2020 election, which was dubious enough, given that they can't prove Trump's motive was to sabotage loose lips liar-Joe Biden. As I've said before, it is more likely that Trump was trying to uncover Democratic interference with his successful 2016 bid.
But now they're saying Trump actually succeeded in tainting the upcoming election. Could someone please walk us through the logic? I am serious. How could Trump's call possibly affect the outcome of the 2020 election when nothing came from it? How could it undermine our assurance that the vote will be fairly won?
The irony is palpable. Just as Democrats, not Trump, have attempted to interfere with both elections, the Democrats' unwarranted impeachment proceeding could undermine or torpedo the 2020 election if scumbag/liar-Schiff gets his way and Trump is railroaded out of office.
At least we know that's not going to happen. Again, so does scumbag/liar-Schiff, which means the only reason he and his team are pursuing this sham is to publicly shame Trump and hinder his reelection bid, their scheme to reverse the 2016 election having gone down in flames.
scumbag/liar-Schiff also claims that Trump believes "he's above the law" and engaged in one of "the most blatant efforts of a cover-up in history." A cover-up? Trump knew when he made the call that other people were aware he was making it. He didn't even try to hide it in the beginning. And why would he? The transcript shows he didn't believe he was doing anything wrong. He has repeatedly called for an investigation into the Democrats who have been trying to oust him and cripple his presidency.
Just as it was bad faith for Democrats to accuse Trump of obstructing the investigation into his alleged collusion with Russia, because there was demonstrably no such collusion and thus no reason to obstruct, it is bad faith for them to accuse him of obstructing this investigation, because there's nothing for him to obstruct. He sucked the oxygen right out of them when he released the transcript, something they never banked on.
It's also preposterous to claim he committed an impeachable offense merely by invoking his privileges and other rights -- unless you define obstructing Congress as refusing to roll over and play dead for the quite honorable scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff.
The House Democrats didn't first ask the courts to compel witnesses to testify but instead jumped straight to declaring Trump's blocking their testimony an impeachable offense. So much for the separation of powers. "If I were the president, I wouldn't cooperate with these guys at all," said Sen. Lindsey Graham.
It is rich that scumbag/liar-Schiff and Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer accuses Senate Republicans of unfairness, given that he and his cohorts unfairly denied Trump due process in the House proceedings. It is also absurd, given that Republicans are operating under similar rules that governed the impeachment trial of former President scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton.
TV viewership and polls show the Democrats' ongoing crusade to destroy President Trump continues to backfire. How do they figure this is helping them?
scumbag/liar-Schiff says impeachment is the only remedy. What an odd thing to say for a guy who pretends to care so much about democracy. How about just letting the voters decide in November, congressman?
Oh well. I suppose I shouldn't complain. Democrats are just digging a deeper hole for themselves with this disgraceful Hail Mary because they fear they can't beat Trump fairly and squarely, and so they must "interfere" with the 2020 election.
