NO MORE “CATCH AND RELEASE”: “The Trump administration will no longer allow migrant families apprehended at the border to enter the U.S. under the immigration policy commonly known as ‘catch and release.’ The policy change was announced Monday by Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin McAleenan in remarks at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C. … McAleenan said the end of ‘catch and release’ is a reaction, in part, to the record number of 144,000 migrants apprehended or encountered at the southern border in May. BORDER ENABLERS: “The Marine Corps has charged 13 members with smuggling illegal immigrants into the U.S., in addition to a range of other offenses including failure to obey an order, drunkenness, endangerment, larceny, and perjury, according to a statement released Friday. Lance Corporals Byron Law and David Salazar-Quintero were specifically charged with transporting illegal immigrants into the country for financial gain. The two were based in Camp Pendleton, located between San Diego and Los Angeles, Calif. The other marines included in the indictments, some of whom were charged with distributing cocaine and LSD, were not named.” (National Review)

In his decades as "community organizer" among Chicago's poorest, most desperate neighborhoods, he did nothing other than perpetuate complete dependence on Big Brother... His Affordable Care Act, and its accompanying criminal penalties for not engaging in commerce, scythed a mile-wide berth into the already frayed concept of a citizenry living free from government coercion. More ominously, scumbag/liar-nObama was able to entwine his instinctive Marxism with a vision for America's path forward in a way his predecessors had been unable to. The singular cunning of scumbag/liar-nObama was his success in realigning the "victim" hierarchy almost completely from class to race. Free citizens in a market society can climb or descend the social ladder, but race remains a constant throughout. Race is our most recognizable difference, no matter its superficial nature. In the deepest recesses of our prejudices, race is pure tribalism. And in the darkest hours of human history, at our most trying moments, and during our most vicious wars, people of all tribes have taken refuge not within their class, but within their race or ethnicity. The examples of Nazi Germany, of Bosnia, of Rwanda, and of the Armenians in Turkey are but a few examples of the horrors lifelong friends and neighbors of the same class can inflict on one another in the name of racial identity politics. This isn't to say Marxism hasn't been peddled before under the guise of racial identity grievance. Indeed, Lenin himself was able to provoke satellite regions like Ukraine and Kazakhstan to revolt from czarist Russia in the name of ethnic separatism. In the United States, it has been tried repeatedly since the 1960s. But as our nation's first half black president, scumbag/liar-nObama was able sow division with absolute authority, and with minimal criticism by a political class that either openly supported his aims or was petrified of soliciting unsubstantiated accusations of racism. And sow division he did, with every chance he got. When scumbag/liar-nObama found religion (or feigned the motions of doing so for future electability), he chose out of the near 1,000 available options to him in Chicago a church whose pastor was an outspoken anti-American, anti-white, and anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist. For the next 20 years, scumbag/liar-nObama and Michelle chose to sit in the pews of that swine and devour the filth he shoveled out from the trough at his altar. When asked to justify his close association with this shameless bigot, scumbag/liar-nObama shrugged off such concerns, comparing Wright to "an old uncle who sometimes will say things that I don't agree with." scumbag/liar-nObama distanced himself from Wright only when it started affecting his poll numbers. When armed Black Panthers were caught threatening voters outside a Philadelphia polling station in 2008, the Department of Justice under the Bush administration charged and convicted them with violations of the Voting Rights Act. Once in office, scumbag/liar-nObama had political appointees in the DOJ dismiss the charges. When Cambridge Police both white and black, not that it should matter arrested his black friend Henry Gates for disorderly conduct, scumbag/liar-nObama, after admitting that he didn't know all the facts, stated that the police "acted stupidly." After Trayvon Martin was shot by Afro-Peruvian AKA "white Hispanic" George Zimmerman, scumbag/liar-nObama intoned, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." This implies that Martin was shot because he was black, and not because he was repeatedly pummeling Zimmerman's head into the pavement. Even scumbag-Eric Holder's investigation concluded otherwise. After black nationalist Xavier Micah Johnson opened fire and murdered five Dallas police officers in 2016 as they protected a Black Lives Matter march, scumbag/liar-nObama gave a eulogy at their funeral. The eulogy itself stands as perhaps one of the most despicable moments of the scumbag/liar-nObama presidency. He used the podium to equate the murder of the Dallas police officers with the recent shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile both of which were investigated and found justifiable, and neither man was "unfairly targeted" because he was black, as scumbag/liar-nObama asserted. Help Ruin The Planet?

{ thefederalist.com } ~ To promote his single-payer health care legislation, Democratic presidential candidate commie-Bernie Sanders recently sent an interesting tweet: “Average cost of childbirth in the United States: $32,000... Average cost of childbirth with Medicare for All: $0.” However, the left’s general position on population growth’s effect on the climate make one wonder why commie-Sanders and his single-payer supporters want to facilitate additional births, whether in the United States or overseas. As one might expect, commie-Sanders’ tweet contained several oversimplifications and mis-statements. First, his “Medicare for All” bill would actually abolish the Medicare program. Second, the 2013 report to which commie-Sanders referred studied the charges medical providers submitted, not just for childbirth, but for all prenatal and postpartum care. While doctors and hospitals charged patients an average of $32,063 for this year’s worth of care before and after a vaginal childbirth, insurers paid far less $18,329—and consumers paid only $2,244 out-of-pocket.By contrasting total hospital charges under the current system with net costs to patients—as if the underlying cost of providing medical care would magically disappear if insurance ended out-of-pocket health spending—commie-Sanders exaggerated the supposed benefits of single-payer health care. But what if, under commie-Sanders’ single-payer system, Americans suddenly took greater advantage of their “free” childbirth benefits to have more children? commie-Sanders and many of his fellow liberals say the climate would suffer. Not one week before commie-Sanders sent his tweet, he addressed the topic of population growth at a CNN climate forum. A member of the audience said that “human population growth has more than doubled in the past 50 years. The planet cannot sustain this growth.” In talking about “the need to curb population growth,” she asked commie-Sanders if he would “be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate change?” commie-Sanders responded in the affirmative, then proceeded to highlight the need for abortion and contraception, both in the United States and overseas...

recovered in Mexico a decade after U.S. government allowed gun sales to cartels

The newest recovery happened on June 20 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Mexican police and military arrested nine people and confiscated ten weapons after a gunfight between two groups. According to arrest documents, one of the weapons, a semi-automatic rifle, traces back to Fast and Furious. The gun is listed as a “Romarm Cugir GP-WASR 10/63 rifle.” Authorities traced the serial number to a purchase in Prescott, Arizona by Fast and Furious suspect Sean Steward nearly a decade ago: December 9, 2009. Steward eventually pled guilty to trafficking firearms while the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was monitoring him under Operation Fast and Furious. Fast and Furious was one of numerous secret “gunwalking” operations launched by the federal government in the 2009-2011 time period that put thousands of assault rifles and other weapons into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. Border patrol agent Brian Terry and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata were murdered by Mexican drug cartel thugs in separate incidents in 2010 and 2011 related to guns that were trafficked while under the watch of U.S. agents who neither intervened nor tracked the “walked” weapons...

Palestinians Fail in Bid to Join UN Postal Agency

{ fdd.org } ~ The Palestinians failed in their bid to join the United Nations Universal Postal Union (UPU) last week, falling far short of the two-thirds majority vote necessary for membership... The failure to gain admission to this UN specialized agency is a setback for the Palestinians’ ongoing campaign to secure international recognition while evading negotiations with Israel. The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), acting under the name of the “State of Palestine,” has for eight years been angling to become the 194th country recognized by the UN, a campaign known as “Palestine 194.” The United States and Israel have discouraged this initiative on the grounds that it removes one of the most important incentives for Palestinian leaders to negotiate with Israel, namely the promise of statehood. In September 2011, the Palestinians submitted a request for full UN membership to the United Nations Security Council, whose recommendation is necessary prior to approval by the General Assembly. But the U.S. effectively blocked the Security Council from voting on a recommendation. Shortly thereafter, the PLO gained membership at the UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. This triggered a scumbag/liar-Clinton-era American law that prevents the United States from funding any UN agency or affiliate that “grants full membership” to non-states. This provision has discouraged other UN agencies from granting full membership to the PLO. The next major step for the Palestinians came when the UN General Assembly recognized the “State of Palestine” as a non-member observer state in 2012, an upgrade from its status as a non-state observer. This change allowed the Palestinians to sign UN treaties. During U.S.-backed negotiations with Israel in 2013 and early 2014, there was a lull in the Palestinian campaign, but it resumed rapidly once the talks failed. The Democrat Left is the Party of Racism, Divisiveness, and Balkanization

The Democrat Left has, however, put this advice into practice by accusing Republicans in general... President Trump in particular, and "deplorables" as a whole, of its own racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, ageist, and otherwise divisive and Balkanizing practices. The Democrat Left calls Donald Trump a racist and white nationalist as if these were statements of fact, but it can offer no objective evidence in the form of hate speech against anybody's race or ethnicity — the very kind of hate speech in which the Left itself deals wholesale on an almost routine basis. New Jersey Democrat Kathy McBride used the phrase "Jew down" while fellow Democrat Robin Vaughn dismissed this phrase as an ordinary verb rather than an anti-Semitic slur. I wonder how these two African-Americans would feel if somebody similarly excused the N-word because it means literally "black" and nothing more. Nobody would buy that excuse, and the African-American registry not only describes the Latin origin of the N-word but also cites "Jew him down" as an example of "explicit group devaluations." Vaughn deserves credit for apologizing subsequently, but the bottom line is that a total of three Democrats, including George Muschal, behaved at first as though there is nothing wrong with the phrase "Jew down." We will have to look to Christine Olivo, a Democrat running for Congress in Florida's 24th District, for the answer. Olivo tweeted on September 16, "Everyone thinks that if you side with the Palestinians then you're anti-Semitic. WTF! We can't turn a blind eye to the suffering that they're enduring at the hands of people that have endured great suffering themselves. THEIR HOUSES ARE BEING BULLDOZED WITH THEM IN IT! #Godhelpus." The tweet may have been taken down, but I saw it when it was online, and it is still in Google cache as of September 20. Yes, Christine, if you side with the Hamas-governed Palestinians, then you are siding with terrorists, the same way that anybody who supported Nazi-governed Germany was a Nazi sympathizer. Women's march board member Zahra Billoo has gone even farther than Olivo by stating that "Israel is an apartheid, racist state, which engages in terrorism against Palestinians." This is yet another deployment of Joseph Goebbels's purported advice because Hamas is the terrorist organization that also discriminates against Jews, Christians, and peaceful Muslims...

It's Time for Climate ConfessionsNate Jackson: Repent, for the end of the world is near! No, it’s not some disheveled dude standing on a street corner with a sandwich board. Instead, it’s the new NBC News Climate Confessions interactive. If you worship nature at the altar of the Church of Climatology, you can now confess your environmental sins in six different categories: plastics, meat, energy, transportation, paper, and food waste.
“Blast the AC? Cook a steak once a week?” NBC asks. “Where do you fall short in preventing climate change? Tell us with Climate Confessions.” Or if, like us, you merely want a good laugh, you can read the confessions of others — both real and dripping with sarcasm.
“I wish I had been born a vegan and then maybe it would be easier. I can’t seem to give up meat,” says one.
“I sleep with the air conditioner on year-round and justify it to myself by recycling,” admits another.
Worse, says another, “I commute 30 miles to work every day in a car by myself.”
And in a perfect illustration of the Left’s redistributionist mindset: “I want to install solar panels but am waiting for state / federal incentives to do so!”
We tend to prefer contributions such as, “I require at least half a roll of TP when wiping,” and, “I like my house to be 85 in the winter and 55 in the summer. Deal with it, hippies.” But to each his own.
When it comes to green theology, there are cult-like True Believers, and there are nominal adherents who kinda sorta believe climate change is a problem but aren’t exactly willing to upend their lifestyles to mitigate it. And we can be sure that the former will continue to preach until blind devotion is achieved.
How bad is the propaganda for this faux religion? “Tens of thousands of high school students in cities nationwide plan to skip classes Friday to attend Global Climate Strike marches calling for immediate action to end climate change,” reports USA Today. “They will be part of a global joint protest aimed directly at the adults who they say are ignoring the destruction of the planet.”
The story is tagged as being in San Francisco, which is rather humorous given that President Donald Trump’s EPA is set to deliver a notice of violating environmental standards to the city because of its rampant homeless problem, caused by leftist rent-control policies.
