at next week's Mueller hearings

{ foxnews.com } ~ Former congressman Trey Gowdy doesn't expect much to happen during next week's hearing featuring Special Counsel Robert Mueller... "Mueller doesn't want to come. He doesn't want to come because he's not going to deviate from his report. What you're going to get are these incendiary questions about obstruction and impeachment," Gowdy said Monday while previewing the hearing on "Hannity." "You're not going to learn anything next Wednesday that you don't already know." Mueller is set to testify before the House Judiciary and House Intelligence committees July 17. Attorney General William Barr said in an interview Monday that the Justice Department would support Robert Mueller if he decides he "doesn't want to subject himself" to questioning from congressional Democrats Mueller's report found no proof that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to influence the election, despite multiple outreach efforts by Russians, and did not reach a conclusion on whether President Trump obstructed justice. Gowdy explained why the media "love" hearings like next Thursday and used a March 17 hearing featuring James comedy as an example. "Think back to March of 2017 Sean when, when the other news had a public hearing... scumbag-Jim Comey and Mike Rogers a hundred times the witness said I cannot answer that question in this forum. You would think the media would say that was a waste of everybody's time, don't ever do that again," Gowdy told Hannity. "They love it they love it because what scumbag-Adam Schiff and scumbag-Swalwell and the others did is read newspaper articles that contain classified information only for the witness that they have to say 'I can't comment on that in this setting.' That's what's going to happen next week.".

Boca Raton Principal Who Questioned
Holocaust Is Reassigned-Blames Others

{ lidblog.com } ~ Regarding the Holocaust, Burke’s famous line was cut down to “Never Forget.” But even that shortened line seems to have been forgotten... And that memory lapse seems to have happened in one of the most unlikely of places, Palm Beach County, Florida, where a High School Principal told a parent “I can’t say the Holocaust is a factual, historical event.” As reported by the Palm Beach Post, it started in April of 2018. William Latson Principal of Spanish River Community High School, a public H.S. serving Boca Raton and Delray Beach, was asked by a student’s mom if the Holocaust was taught in the school. The principal explained the school had “a variety of activities” for Holocaust education, but: “The curriculum is to be introduced but not forced upon individuals as we all have the same rights but not all the same beliefs. Each year we do a Holocaust assembly, and we target the 10th graders so every year that group will get a day’s work with the Holocaust. We advertise it to the 10th-grade parents as some do not want their children to participate, and we have to allow them the ability to decline. By doing it in that grade level, every student will get the opportunity before they graduate.” That’s strange; the Holocaust is not a belief it’s something that actually happened. Thinking that the principal couldn’t have meant what his words seemed to say, the parent sent the principal a letter asking him to clarify his position. Mr. Latson forgot the rule about when you find yourself in a hole—stop digging as this second response was worse than the previous one, saying in part: “The clarification is that not everyone believes the Holocaust happened, and you have your thoughts, but we are a public school, and not all of our parents have the same beliefs so they will react differently. My thoughts or beliefs have nothing to do with this because I am a public servant. I have the role to be politically neutral but support all groups in the school. I work to expose students to certain things, but not all parents want their students to be exposed, so they will not be, and I can’t force that issue. One must understand that. In a public school setting the school ‘can’t take a position but provide information and allow parents to work with their students on what they want their children to understand. As an educator, Principal Latson must realize that the denial or distortion of history is an assault on truth and understanding. Understanding and never forgetting the memory of the past is crucial to how we understand ourselves, our society, and our goals for the future. Intentionally denying or distorting the historical record threatens public understanding of how to safeguard democracy and individual rights. Philadelphia Is Using A SONIC WEAPON
To Keep Kids Away From Parks!

City officials and police in Philadelphia have been using what they call an “acoustic deterrent” but it is described by a local councilwoman as a “sonic weapon” to keep the city’s children and young adults away from certain recreational areas at night. This high-pitched frequency (17.5 to 18.5 kilohertz) can be heard by young people ages 13 to 25 years old and Philadelphia has been deploying this technology since 2014 which is now in 31 locations to “prevent loitering and vandalism.” In this video Dan Dicks of Press For Truth looks into Philadelphia’s controversial use of sonic weapons on children and points out that this is in direct violation of the Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions of 1977 and therefore needs to be rejected and disabled right away!.

U.S. Women Win Whiner's World Cup
Nate Jackson: What’s worse than a whiny loser? A whiny winner. In a nutshell, the U.S. women’s soccer team had an incredible run to win its fourth Women’s World Cup. The American women turned in a dominant performance that, under normal circumstances, should make our nation proud. But instead of uniting the country behind the national team, the entire story has been the team’s griping, complaining, and general anti-Americanism. What a shame.
American midfielder Megan Rapinoe made clear her disdain for American President Donald Trump. Fine, an athlete doesn’t like Trump. What else is new? But she went out of her way to refuse a White House invite before it had even been given — indeed, before the team had even won. How self-righteous and presumptuous. After the victory, she said she’d be “very happy to accept” Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer’s invite.
Then there was midfielder Allie Long, who dropped the American flag on the ground during her choreographed victory celebration with Rapinoe. Teammate Kelley O'Hara picked up the flag, but the disrespect had been shown.
And finally there was the championship celebration marred by tiresome chants of “equal pay!” According to The New York Times, “In recent years, that fight for pay equality has been the women’s team’s calling card. The players contend they are paid less by the United States Soccer Federation than the men — sometimes tens of thousands of dollars or more for top players in a given year — and that the situation has persisted for years even as the women’s team has collected more trophies and begun to produce more revenue than the men.” Never mind that six of the 12 top-paid U.S. players are women. The women’s team sued U.S. soccer for gender discrimination earlier this year.
It’s true that the U.S. men’s soccer team has never been as successful as the women. The men didn’t even make the World Cup in 2018. It’s also true that the women don’t bring home as much money as the men. But the women’s pie is a whole lot smaller.
Matt Walsh explains, “FIFA, the international soccer organization, will give about $400 million to male players in the World Cup, while female players will make around $30 million.” That sounds bad, but not when revenue is factored in. The Women’s World Cup earned in the neighborhood of $130 million. That’s great, but the 2018 Men’s World Cup brought in more than $6 billion. So the women’s slice of the pie (23% of revenue) is far larger than the men’s (7%), relative to the whole. But Rapinoe wants that $30 million for the women to be quadrupled to $120 million. How about quadrupling revenue first?
Why so much more money for the men? More viewers. Rich Lowry notes, “The women’s tournament this year may have had about a billion viewers across all platforms, nothing to sneeze at. But the 2018 men’s World Cup had more than a billion viewers just for the final game.”
We’re not making any judgment to assert the simple fact that not nearly as many people watch the women as watch the men. That translates to more money for the men. It’s not misogyny or some travesty of “social justice”; it’s simply the market at work. ~The Patriot Post
