The president needs better legal counsel, as do the American people. The current impeachment illusion is based on a pandemic mirage. The nation has been hypnotized to believe that $391.5 million for Ukraine was held back, frozen, slow-walked, canceled, or subject to a nefarious threat by Trump. Wake up, America. Every penny of Ukraine monetary aid, the alleged carrot dangled before Zelensky, was spent on time, according to law, before, during, and after the July 25 call. The Department of Defense certified Ukraine reforms in a May 23, 2019 letter from John C. Rood to Congress, but this certification was only necessary to release the second $125-million tranche. So what happened to the first $125 million? It was already spent on Ukraine before the July 25 phone call with Zelensky. On February 28, Rood wrote to Congress about the first $125 million. He informed Congress the Pentagon was going ahead with this money for Ukraine. It was spent by July to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression. This is the real reason why neither Zelensky nor any other Ukraine official knew that assistance was "held up." The money was flowing freely to them, never subject to nefarious Trump subterfuge. How do I know this? It's hiding in plain sight. The Wall Street Journal published the following report by James Marson on March 11, 2019: The U.S. is channeling support to Ukraine's navy to help counter Russian efforts to choke its neighbor's economy and destabilize its pro-Western government by blocking access to ports. U.S. training and equipment have helped strengthen Ukraine's army in its five-year conflict with Russia, but the fresh U.S. focus reflects concern over the Kremlin's new maritime efforts to halt Ukraine's westward integration and keep Russia's sphere of influence. Ponder "fresh U.S focus" on "channeling support to Ukraine's navy." Funds used to provide this fresh military support of Ukraine back in March were released from the first $125-million tranche....

All Eyes On Judge In Michael Flynn Case
After Weeks Of Shocking Developments

{ thefederalist.com } ~ After a flurry of court filings and blockbuster developments last month, the Michael Flynn criminal case has been dormant for nearly three weeks... The parties and the public now await word from presiding Judge Emmett Sullivan on the pending motion to compel and motion for sanctions filed by Sidney Powell, the lead attorney who took over Flynn’s case shortly after the special counsel team disbanded. Powell’s motion seeks to force federal prosecutors to provide Flynn an array of documents withheld from his attorneys and to sanction government lawyers for their failure to provide relevant evidence to the defense team in a timely manner. When and how Judge Sullivan will rule is unclear. In late October, Judge Sullivan issued a short order canceling a hearing on Flynn’s motions previously scheduled for November 5, 2019, prompting predictions that the long-time federal judge had already made up his mind. This development also triggered a panicked filing by the government complaining that Flynn’s lawyers had raised new issues in their reply brief and cautioning the court not to rule without hearing more from the prosecutors. Sullivan okayed a response by the government and a final rebuttal by Flynn’s attorneys, but added a terse endnote that no more briefing would be had on the issue. Then, mere days after the final briefing came in, federal prosecutors found themselves forced to admit that for nearly three years, they had wrongly identified the authors of the handwritten notes taken by the FBI agents during their January 24, 2017, interview of then-National Security Advisor Flynn. Prosecutors had told defense counsel and the court that the notes written by Peter Strozk had been compiled by FBI Agent Joe Pietka, and those taken by Pietka had been written by Strozk. This embarrassing mea culpa surely added strength to Powell’s plea for access to other withheld evidence. After all, if federal prosecutors made such a basic blunder concerning key evidence, what other mistakes lay buried in the undisclosed evidence. While the currently pending motion concerns only the question of access to evidence and sanctions for the never-provided, or the late-provision of, evidence, Powell’s briefing foreshadows the filing of a motion to dismiss the indictment. Prior to the call, Vindman included a discussion about corruption in the talking points provided to the president but Trump did not use them in the call. The summary Vindman wrote after the call read: President Trump underscored the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity – within its internationally recognized borders – and expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption. But Vindman clarified during his testimony that the president did not bring up the topic rooting out corruption during the phone call, but he included it in his summary of the call anyway. When asked by the Democrat counsel about whether the summary he wrote was false, Vindman hesitated. “That’s not entirely accurate, but I’m not sure I would describe it as false, it was consistent with U.S. policy,” Vindman said. The Oval Office photograph, obtained by the Washington Examiner, is circulating among Trump allies who consider it evidence that the alleged whistleblower is biased against Trump and had partisan motivations when he filed an Aug. 12 complaint that sparked impeachment proceedings. In the photograph, a smiling Ciaramella, then Ukraine director on the National Security Council at the White House, is shown shaking scumbag/liar-nObama's hand. They are standing in front of a portrait of Abraham Lincoln by George Henry Story. A Republican close to the White House said the photo was evidence Ciaramella supported scumbag/liar-nObama and its selection for the wedding website indicated he considered the Oval Office image a "glamour shot." "This photo confirms that career intelligence and foreign service officials serving at the highest ranks of the Trump White House have their own agenda and their own policy viewpoints," the Republican source said. The website for the September 2018 wedding of Mat Calabro, a Connecticut high school friend of Ciaramella, is now defunct. The two friends traveled through Central and Eastern Europe together in the summer of 2005, and Ciaramella was a best man at Calabro's wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. When aides departed the NSC, they were given the chance to have a photo with the president, according to former aides. Staff still at the council when scumbag/liar-nObama left office were given the chance to get a photograph. It appears this was the occasion for Ciaramella to secure his keepsake image. Tony Heller has exposed some of the egregious dishonesty of mainstream environmentalists in a video he’s titled “My Gift To Climate Alarmists.”... Environmentalists and their political allies attribute the recent increase in deadly forest fires to global warming. However, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service, forest fires reached their peak in the 1930s and have declined by 80% since then. Environmentalists hide the earlier data and make their case for the effects of global warming by showing the public and policymakers data from 1980 that shows an increase in forest fires. Climate scientists claim that rising sea levels are caused by man-made global warming. Historical data from the tide gauge in Lower Manhattan shows that sea levels have been rising from about the time when Abraham Lincoln was president to now. Heller says that sea levels have been rising for about 20,000 years. He points out that anthropologists believe that when the sea level was very low people were able to walk from Siberia to North America. Hot weather is often claimed to be a result of man-made climate change. Heller presents data showing the number of days in Waverly, Ohio, above 90 degrees. In 1895, there were 73 days above 90 degrees. In 1936, there were 82 days above 90 degrees. Since the 1930s, there has been a downward trend in the number of days above 90 degrees. If climatologists hide data from earlier years and started at 1955, they show an increase in the number of above 90-degree days from eight or nine to 30 or 40. Thomas Gallatin: In a recent interview with Bisnow, Chick-fil-A President and Chief Operating Officer Tim Tassopoulos appeared to declare that America’s favorite chicken restaurant would no longer be donating to charitable organizations deemed “anti-LGBT.” Tassopoulos stated, “There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need to be clear about who we are. There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.” As a result of this decision, Chick-fil-A will no longer donate to numerous charities it has long supported, including the Salvation Army, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and the Paul Anderson Youth Home — all organizations deemed “anti-LGBT” by the Left and Leftmedia for their commitment to traditional Christian principles.
To put it bluntly, the leadership at Chick-fil-A is retreating under pressure from the Rainbow Mafia’s “anti-LGBT” cudgel. While it’s entirely understandable why a company whose primary objective is to sell tasty chicken sandwiches with top-quality service would want that to be its principal identity, the truth is that, since its founding, Chick-fil-A has represented so much more. Like it or not, Chick-fil-A stands at the forefront of the culture war as a Christian fast-food chain, and that is precisely because founder S. Truett Cathy chose to put the convictions of his Christian faith ahead of profits. This is why, to this day, all Chick-fil-A stores are closed on Sundays.
This is also why the company’s founders boldly did what few corporations dare – support the historic context of marriage as between a man and woman, as upheld by every major religion worldwide. And this explains why Chick-fil-A has long been a target of the Rainbow Mafia, as it represents faithful Christianity in the business world. The problem with the present controversial decision goes beyond a surrender to the Left’s demands on sexuality; it’s a violation of Cathy’s founding commitment to never compromise his Christian principles in favor of profit. Sadly, it appears that concerns over profit and growth are exactly what motivated this capitulation.
Ironically, this decision may end up costing Chick-fil-A that very profit through conservative backlash. CEO Dan Cathy needs to immediately set the record straight as to whether there has been any misrepresentation of the reasoning behind this decision or he risks losing some of his company’s massive Christian customer base.
Whether Tassopoulos intended it or not, Chick-fil-A’s decision to end donations to the Salvation Army, the FCA, and the Paul Anderson Youth Home also disparaged these faithful Christian charitable organizations in the eyes of the public. Furthermore, it reinforces the false standard that the only way Christians can love people is by embracing and celebrating their sinful condition and behavior.
Finally, Chick-fil-A is a good company, but this is at best a massive PR failure, and it has opened up a crack in the company’s armor. Appeasing the woke mobsters only leads to further demands of capitulation to their destructive ideology. Chick-fil-A has now opened this door, which may now be impossible to close. ~The Patriot Post
