{ americanthinker.com } ~ “Gaslighting” is a term well-known in the psychological counseling community, especially among those dealing with narcissistic personality disorders. It refers to the technique used by a narcissist to convince his victim that what he sees with his own eyes is not true, and hence, he must be going crazy... If the victim catches the narcissist in the act of some foul deed or betrayal, the narcissist will deny his guilt with such passion and apparent sincerity that the victim is tempted to believe him, despite the evidence of his own eyes. The technique is especially effective as a long-term strategy -- the victim or enabler is worn down by repeated assertions that what he just saw or knows to be true is actually false, to the point where he doesn’t have the strength to resist anymore. It is apparent that this is the strategy the Democratic party hopes to ride to victory in 2020. The truth is the Russian Collusion Hoax, which the Democrats in Congress and the media obsessed over for two long years was not just a fabrication, but a deliberate coup attempt aimed at bringing down the legitimate head of the executive branch elected by the American people. The truth is the nominee of the Democratic party for president, scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton, bought and paid for the fake opposition research that was used by the corrupt scumbag/liar-nObama administration as a pretext to spy on an opposing candidate. A climate of hysteria was created about these false charges in the hopes that public pressure could be built up to force the removal of Donald Trump from office. These truths are so outrageous, so unprecedented in American history, that it defies belief that no one has been punished for these actions to this date. Instead the Democratic party, through their mouthpieces in the mainstream media, immediately shifted the subject to the next attempt to get Trump, one equally ludicrous and self-evidently false by anyone with a modicum of understanding. Just like with the Russian Collusion Delusion, it involves blaming Trump for something a Democrat has actually done, in this case loose lips liar-Joe Biden. loose lips liar-Biden is on tape bragging about how he interfered in the Ukraine legal system by insisting that the prosecutor investigating his son Hunter for corruption be fired. Yet the Democratic strategy is to convince the voters that they didn’t actually hear loose lips liar-Joe say that, they only imagined they did. Anyone who tunes in to mainstream media ‘news’ broadcasts, a punishment I haven’t inflicted on myself in years, is subject to endless harping on these talking points seeking to pin some imaginary offense on Trump, and totally ignoring the elephant in the room -- the fact that the Democrats are generally guilty of the offense for real. Like the malignant narcissist, Democrats believe that voters are so stupid and easily manipulated that they can be made to believe an outrageous lie when the truth is staring them in the face. In a similar vein, the latest push for impeachment depends on the low-information voter being stunned by the word itself into abandoning support for Trump, without bothering to discover the fact that there are no legitimate grounds for impeachment, only frenzied partisan gaslighting going on...  https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/10/gaslighting_the_voters.html
Byron York explains the “confusing,
ass-covering mess” the ICIG calls a statement

{ independentsentinel.com } ~ A Politico article on this link proves that the CIA ‘whistleblower’s’ claims about procedures to safeguard transcripts of POTUS phone calls with foreign officials are false... It’s another error or another lie in the ‘whistleblower’s’ statement. The man isn’t even a whistleblower but he will be afforded all the rights of an actual whistleblower and we all must pretend this makes sense. The DNI issued a statement which we discussed earlier and it led to the Twitter mob accusing Sean Davis of The Federalist of lying. It appeared to contradict him, but it was a mess of confusion. Davis explains on this link why that is not the case. In a series of twelve tweets, Byron York posted an excellent analysis of the statement by the Intelligence Community Inspector General. He began by calling it a “confusing, ass-covering mess,” and that it was.  The Intelligence Community Inspector General’s explanation of its whistleblower form is a confusing, ass-covering mess. The ICIG explains the whistleblower had to have first-hand information and that’s what he checked off only he didn’t have any first-hand information. ICIG says Trump-Russia whistleblower complaint was ‘processed and reviewed…in accordance with the law.’ Fine. Issue addressed in ICIG explanation is what policy on first- versus second-hand information was at the time. ICIG says it gave whistleblower a procedures form saying in order to find urgent concern ‘credible,’ complainant must have ‘reliable, first-hand information.’ Without that, ICIG ‘will not be able to process the complaint.’ So, the ICIG says there’s no requirement that the ‘whistleblower’ have first-hand information. But ICIG then notes ‘there is no first-hand information requirement set forth in the statute.’ Further: ‘In fact, by law the complainant…need not possess first-hand information’ in order to file complaint. In other words, there is no first-hand information so the ‘whistleblower’ was wrong, checked the wrong box. That means ICIG procedures form, the one handed to whistleblower, was wrong on question of first-versus second-hand information. What gives? ICIG says procedures form was in effect since 5/24/18, before ICIG Atkinson took office 5/29/18. Translation: Don’t look at me — it was before my time!...

Barr Went to Rome to Hear a Secret Tape From Joseph Mifsud, the Professor Who Helped
Ignite the Russia Probe

{ thedailybeast.com } ~ When reports first surfaced that AG Bill Barr had traveled to Italy recently, we surmised the trip was likely related to Joseph Mifsud... specifically related to an audio-taped deposition that Mifsud gave to Italian police about being a western intelligence asset who was enlisted by the CIA (scumba/commie-Brennan) to run a covert intelligence operation against the Donald Trump campaign in 2016. If accurate, well, there’s the motive for the latest “CIA whistle-blower” approach. The Daily Beast is now reporting that Bill Barr’s visit to Italy was exactly for that reason: When Attorney General William Barr showed up at the U.S. embassy’s Palazzo Margherita on Rome’s tony Via Veneto last week, he had two primary requests. He needed a conference room to meet high level Italian security agents where he could be sure no one was listening in. And he needed an extra chair for U.S. Attorney John Durham of Connecticut who would be sitting at his right hand side. […] The Daily Beast has learned that Barr and Durham were especially interested in what the Italian secret service knew about Joseph Mifsud, the erstwhile professor from Malta who had allegedly promised then candidate Donald Trump’s campaign aide George Papadopoulos he could deliver Russian “dirt” on scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton. The Italian Justice Ministry public records show that Mifsud had applied for police protection in Italy after disappearing from Link University where he worked and, in doing so, had given a taped deposition to explain just why people might want to harm him. A source in the Italian Ministry of Justice, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told The Daily Beast that Barr and Durham were played the tape. A second source within the Italian government also confirmed to The Daily Beast that Barr and Durham were shown other evidence the Italians had on Mifsud...

Giuliani Makes Shocking Announcement – scumbag/liar-Hillary and scumbag/liar-nObama
Tied To Ukraine Scandal
by wethepeopledaily.com ~ Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and personal lawyer to President Trump made the stunning announcement that a substantial amount of evidence had been uncovered pointing to scumbag/liar-nObama’s white house... The evidence suggests that while President, scumbag/liar-nObama directed Democrats to work with Ukraine in order to dig up damaging anti-trump dirt while Trump was a candidate.  Giuliani joined Fox News where he detailed the latest developments into the situation regarding Ukraine, which stems from a 2017 Politico investigation that found that Ukraine was working with operatives for the Democratic National Committee to sabotage Trump. “The reason why the president of the United States had an obligation to ask the president of Ukraine to follow up on these allegations because there is substantial — I don’t want to exaggerate it but pretty close to overwhelming evidence, including a finding by a Ukrainian court that scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton and the Democrats cooperated with Ukrainians with the order coming directly from the White House … to dig up dirt on her political opponent, and they did,” Giuliani said. Giuliani then went after then-Vice President and now current Democrat presidential candidate loose lips liar-Joe Biden, highlighting the allegations surrounding his Ukraine corruption scandal. “In this case, loose lips liar-Biden sold his office for millions,” Giuliani said. “Is there anybody that believes that Ukraine or China were paying for Hunter loose lips liar-Biden’s expertise? Or do you have the common sense to realize they were buying loose lips liar-Joe Biden’s office? And that is very damaging to the United States. loose lips liar-Joe Biden was sent to Ukraine to, in part, deal with corruption, and he helped to corrupt the Ukraine. He is a laughingstock.” “We are a laughingstock because we talk about corruption and this guy puts his incompetent son to work for the most crooked oligarch in Russia? I mean, it is outrageous,” Giuliani continued...

{ dailycaller.com } ~ The Justice Department will start releasing 500 pages of notes from witness interviews in the special counsel’s probe each month, beginning on Nov. 1... A Justice Department lawyer said at a hearing that the agency has 800 witness interview transcripts, known as FD-302s, totaling more than 44,000 pages,  according to CNN. CNN and BuzzFeed sued DOJ to begin releasing 302s collected during the special counsel’s investigation into whether the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government influence the 2016 election, as well as whether President Donald Trump attempted to obstruct the probe. Robert Mueller, the special counsel, said in a report that investigators failed to establish that a conspiracy occurred. He declined to charge or to exonerate Trump on the question of obstruction of justice. The 302s will involve interviews with key White House and Trump campaign officials, as well as Trump associates that worked outside government. The documents are sure to contain interesting details into both the information provided by witnesses and the areas of investigation pursued by the special counsel’s team. Mueller officially ended the investigation on March 22 by submitting a 448-page report to the Justice Department. The report has two heavily-footnoted sections — one dealing with the investigation of Russian meddling in the election, and the other with obstruction. Judge Reggie Walton, who is presiding over the case, expressed frustration that the 500-page-a-month release schedule will take years to complete. The pace offered by the Justice Department means it could take more than seven years for all of the 302s to become public.

{ jpost.com } ~ One of Germany’s leading commissioners tasked with combating antisemitism has urged Chancellor Angela Merkel to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal... to protect Israel’s security and instead impose sanctions on Tehran. “The current escalation with Israel should be reason enough for Germany to advocate the.... Iran nuclear agreement, which has been undermined by Iran... as dead, and for the necessary sanctions against Tehran to become effective again in their entirety,” Uwe Becker, commissioner of the Hessian federal state government for Jewish life and the fight against antisemitism, told  The Jerusalem Post on Monday.  Becker said Germany’s national interest in a secure Israel is “above possible economic interests” rooted in the Iran deal. “If Germany takes its reason for state raison d’État seriously, it must immediately freeze its relations with Iran and thus send a clear and unequivocal signal to the Iranian leadership,” Becker said. “It is not a question of a policy against the Iranian people, who are even deprived of important freedom rights by their own government, but of a clear position towards the political leadership in Tehran.”  Becker, who is a member of Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union party, is the first antisemitism commissioner in Germany to urge the chancellor to pull the plug on the accord and re-impose economic sanctions against Iran. Merkel delivered a speech to the Knesset in 2008 in which she declared Israel’s security interests to be part of Germany’s raison d’État. At the time, the chancellor said that Israel’s security is “non-negotiable” for her government...

About the Altered Whistleblower

Thomas Gallatin:  Last week, a writer with The Federalist published a potential bombshell story alleging that “the intelligence community secretly” changed a whistleblower complaint form to eliminate “a requirement that whistleblowers provide direct, first-hand knowledge of wrongdoings.” The story ignited a firestorm of accusations after President Donald Trump demanded to know “WHO CHANGED THE LONG STANDING WHISTLEBLOWER RULES JUST BEFORE SUBMITTAL OF THE FAKE WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT? DRAIN THE SWAMP!”

On Monday, top House Republicans sent a letter to Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) Michael Atkinson seeking answers: “Based on the language on [the May 24, 2018] form, it appears that the requirement for first-hand information has been an ICIG policy regardless of how a whistleblower makes an urgent concern report. Curiously the urgent disclosure form that now appears on the Office of the Director of National Intelligence website has recently changed and no longer contains this explicit first-hand information requirement. … The timing of the removal of the first-hand information requirement raises questions about potential connections to this whistleblower’s complaint. This timing, along with numerous apparent leaks of classified information about the contents of this complaint, also raise questions about potential criminality in the handling of these matters.”

There has been pushback over the Federalist’s claim of an altered document, including a statement from the office of the ICIG noting that the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA) does not specify that a whistleblower must have direct knowledge to make a complaint. Furthermore, the statement says, “The whistleblower stated on the form that he or she possessed both first-hand and other information.” No specific date was given for when the original form was altered.

The questions are these: When was the form altered and why? Could it have been altered to either A) fast-track the complaint to Congress, or B) provide greater anonymity protection to the whistleblower, or both? But the biggest question is this: Who is this “whistleblower”? This is especially relevant because the whistleblower’s complaint of a quid pro quo has been refuted by the transcript of the phone call in question. This should have ended the issue, but now the Democrats are only doubling down even harder on impeachment.

Meanwhile, as more information comes to light, it appears clear that Trump and other administration officials were, and remain, intent on investigating the origins of the Democrats’ first Russia-collusion political charade. Both Trump’s calls to the Ukrainian president and his communication with Australia’s president bear this out. He’s not seeking dirt on his 2020 campaign rivals; he’s looking into who is responsible for obstructing his presidency from Day 1.

Finally, what do Democrats actually have here? The best they’ve got — and this is stretching it to the extreme — is a violation of campaign-finance laws. In other words, they have nothing to justify their impeachment demands. However, the Democrats aren’t worried about facts or even laws. It’s all about projection of the narrative that Trump is corrupt and unfit for office, and Democrats aim to keep that narrative front and center through the 2020 election campaign. And they can depend on their Leftmedia propagandists to do just that — as is apparent in the recent media-driven shift in public sentiments about impeachment.
