.
KIM’S SABER-RATTLING: “North Korea said Thursday that it had test-fired a new type of ‘tactical guided weapon,’ its first such test in nearly half a year, and demanded that Washington remove Secretary of State Mike Pompeo from nuclear negotiations. … It said Pompeo’s continued participation in the negotiations would ensure that the talks become ‘entangled’ and called for a different counterpart who is ‘more careful and mature in communicating with us.’” (Associated Press)

And instead of paying $16.4 billion in taxes at the 21 percent corporate rate, the companies received a corporate tax rebate of $4.3 billion. … According to the Joint Committee on Taxation, the tax law is set to save U.S. companies $1.4 trillion by 2027.” (Fox Business)

.
NEW CONSTRAINTS ON CUBA: “The Trump administration announced Wednesday that the U.S. will tighten restrictions on travel to Cuba, allowing only family visits to the island. … [National Security Advisor John] Bolton also announced that money sent to family members in Cuba would now be limited to $1,000 per person every three months, a change from the scumbag/liar-nObama administration policy that allowed unlimited remittances. ‘In no uncertain terms, the scumbag/liar-nObama administration’s policies toward Cuba have enabled the Cuban colonization of Venezuela today,’ Bolton said. ‘These new measures will help steer Americans dollars away from the Cuban regime.’” (National Review)

dirty cop-Mueller examined
10 instances of possible obstruction by Trump
by Melissa Quinn
washingtonexaminer.com } ~ Attorney General William Barr revealed Thursday that special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller examined 10 instances involving actions by President Trump that may have constituted obstruction of justice... “The report recounts 10 episodes involving the president and discusses potential legal theories for connecting these actions to elements of an obstruction offense,” Barr said during a news conference. dirty cop-Mueller completed his nearly two-year-long investigation into whether members of the Trump campaign colluded with Russia and whether the president obstructed justice last month. Since then, the attorney general has been working with dirty cop-Mueller to redact four categories of information, and dirty cop-Mueller’s report will be released to the public Thursday after it is sent to congressional leaders. dirty cop-Mueller did not make a determination about whether Trump obstructed justice with his actions across the span of the probe, but instead laid out the evidence on both sides, Barr told lawmakers in a letter last month summarizing dirt5y cop-Mueller's principal conclusions. The special counsel did, however, state that while his report “does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,” Barr wrote in his letter. Instead, it was Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who concluded that there was not enough evidence to establish whether Trump obstructed justice...

dirty cop-Mueller Team Leaks: It’s All About “Obstruction”…This is Going to be Epic
by sundance
theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ This will not come as a surprise to anyone who has followed closely; however, according to the FBI’s primary narrative engineer, Devlin Barrett at the Washington Post, the dirty cop-Mueller team has invested most heavily in “obstruction, obstruction, obstruction”… For two years 19 lawyers were piecing the script together; while 40 FBI agents used 2,800 subpoenas, 230 orders for communication records, national security letters, FISA authorization, wiretaps, 50 pen register authorizations, and over 500 Title III search warrants to scour the background of every private communication, phone call, text message and email of everyone in the Trump orbit. Eventually interviewing over 500 witnesses for words to paste into the text of the dirty cop-Mueller/Weissmann obstruction report. The Justice Department plans to release a lightly redacted version of special counsel dirty cop-Robert S. Mueller III’s 400-page report Thursday, offering a granular look at the ways in which President Trump was suspected of having obstructed justice, people familiar with the matter said. The report — the general outlines of which the Justice Department has briefed the White House on — will reveal that dirty cop-Mueller decided he could not come to a conclusion on the question of obstruction because it was difficult to determine Trump’s intent and because some of his actions could be interpreted innocently, these people said. But it will offer a detailed blow-by-blow of the president’s alleged conduct — analyzing tweets, private threats and other episodes at the center of dirty cop-Mueller’s inquiry, they added...

Mnuchin Plans to Hire Fox’s Monica Crowley
as Spokeswoman, Sources Say
by Saleha Mohsin and Jennifer Jacobs
bloomberg.com } ~ Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin plans to hire a regular Fox News guest, Monica Crowley, as his top spokeswoman... according to people familiar with the matter, as he seeks to tout the GOP’s tax cuts and navigate Democrats’ demands for the president’s tax returns. Crowley will be assistant secretary for public affairs, replacing Tony Sayegh, who departs at the end of May after more than two years with Mnuchin, the people said. Crowley and a Treasury spokesman didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. President Donald Trump planned to appoint Crowley to a position at the National Security Council in his White House, but she withdrew from consideration in January 2017 after CNN reported that she had plagiarized portions of her 2012 book and Politico reported that she had plagiarized portions of her 2000 Ph.D. thesis. Crowley said in a Fox News interview that the reports were a “political hit job.” She is also a former foreign agent. Crowley registered with the Justice Department in March 2017 to work with a Democratic political consultant, Doug Schoen, who represented Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk. She terminated her relationship with Pinchuk on Feb. 1, 2018, according to a document Schoen filed. Crowley’s only job for Pinchuk was to help him arrange his annual Yalta European Strategy conference, a person familiar with the situation told Bloomberg News. Speakers at the event in Kiev that year, known as the YES conference, included former Secretary of State hanoi-John Kerry; John Bolton, before he was appointed Trump’s national security adviser; the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, Richard Haass; former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; economist Paul Krugman and other Americans. White House and Treasury Department officials are aware of Crowley’s work for Pinchuk, the person said. The person asked not to be identified because Crowley’s appointment hasn’t been announced... Update she was hired.

Rashida Tlaib Calls for
Hunger Strikes to ‘Shut Down ICE’
by Brent Scher
freebeacon.com } ~ Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) urged her supporters to join her in a hunger strike to push for action to "shut down" U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)... arguing the radical push to abolish ICE can't be achieved by Congress. Tlaib, headlining a Detroit fundraiser this past weekend for the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights, complained of colleagues who are constantly "policing" what she says and lack willingness to embrace bold stands such as abolishing ICE. She called on her activist audience to join her in a hunger strike at the border. "It's going to take movements outside the halls of Congress," Tlaib told the crowd, according to video captured by America Rising, a conservative group. "I want you all to shut them down, we can shut them down," Tlaib said to applause. "Don't wait for this Congress to act, shut them down.""I know what they're going to say, they'll go, ‘What do you mean Rashida?' Well I'll tell you. There are some people that are using hunger strike, all these other things, going to the border, and I plan to." Tlaib's office did not respond to a request for comment on the call for hunger strike and whether any planning was ongoing. Tlaib's full remarks to the group were highly critical of her Democratic colleagues in leadership. She said many were too "strategic," and reject bold plans like hers to abolish ICE because they're "not ready for that now." She reiterated a sentiment expressed on Saturday in defense of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) that party leadership uses the women of color in the freshman class to look diverse. "They put us in photos when they want to show our party is diverse," Tlaib said. "However, when we ask to be at the table, or speak up about issues that impact who we are, what we fight for and why we ran in the first place, we are ignored." She also said her speech is policed by colleagues and the media... This call will fail just as her in office.   https://freebeacon.com/politics/rashida-tlaib-calls-for-hunger-stri...

City of Yuma, Arizona Declares
State of Emergency
by Marissa Martinez
aim.org } ~ The city of Yuma, Arizona has officially declared a state of emergency due to the high number of migrants crossing over... On Monday, Mayor Doug Nicholls issued a formal state of emergency with Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey’s support. A spokesperson for Ducey said, “Ultimately, this humanitarian crisis is the result of Congress’ failure to act. It will only be solved by Congress actually doing something, and the governor has vocally urged Congress to quit playing politics and take action.” Yuma is the first city to declare a state of emergency, and the U.S. is still on track for 1 million apprehensions by the end of the fiscal year. In a press conference, Nicholls said that Tuesday was the breaking point he had talked about three weeks ago. By declaring a state of emergency, the city hopes to receive resources from FEMA. One of the biggest setbacks the city has is the limited bus routes to take migrants to their final destinations. Migrants in Yuma struggle to purchase transportation tickets, thus they stay for a longer duration in the housing shelters. On Monday, Nicholls announced the housing shelters were at their full capacity. The city of Yuma also had to pull border patrol agents from surrounding areas to help process the surge of migrants. Border patrol officials have said they need more resources and support along the southern border. Yuma’s declaration for a state of emergency comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s push for Democrats to do something about the growing southern border crisis...

Assange Was Not Right
Lewis Morris:  WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s arrest in England last week has set in motion what is sure to be a pitched legal battle. Assange has yet to answer for the public dissemination of classified U.S. documents dating back to 2010, documents that compromised U.S. security and diplomatic standing and potentially the lives of U.S soldiers and their allies in the field of battle.

The ongoing debate of whether Assange had the right to post sensitive documents on his website has been going on for the better part of a decade. Sadly, it is a wasted argument. Assange had no right to do so. These materials were stolen by former Army PFC Bradley Manning in a fit of anti-American pique. Manning, now known as Chelsea Manning after receiving a taxpayer-funded sex-reassignment surgery while in jail, offered the materials to Assange for the express purposes of harming the U.S., and Assange gleefully went along.

Calling Assange a journalist or a publisher is a complete misnomer. He did not act like a responsible journalist. He did not vet the information he obtained, nor did he consider the potential harm his actions would cause — in fact, the potential harm is what motivated him. He knew that he could embarrass the United States and negatively impact its ability to defeat terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. What Assange did was nothing more than engage in a document dump of illegally obtained material. His motivations were not truth and justice, but fame and the chance to stick a finger in America’s eye.

Were Assange truly concerned about journalistic integrity, he would have carefully evaluated the documents he possessed and redacted information that could potentially harm individuals. This did not happen. Instead, he actually insisted on posting the material to the Web as-is, regardless of the consequences.

Assange is also erroneously considered to be an equal-opportunity offender — that is to say that the U.S. was not his sole target. There is nothing in the WikiLeaks document dumps to suggest this is true. The material Assange received and reflexively posted came largely from the U.S. and harms U.S. interests. In fact, if prosecutors want to nail anyone for Russian collusion, Julian Assange is their man.

Assange’s actions were openly supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and it appears they may have supplied Assange with the information that threw the 2016 presidential election into a tailspin. Yet, so far all American prosecutors have accused Assange with at this point is a single count of hacking into government computer servers, which carries a maximum sentence of five years.

It’s a mystery as to why Assange has not been formally accused of more crimes, considering his co-conspirator Manning was convicted of multiple felony counts of espionage. Barack scumbag/liar-nObama saved Manning many years of jail time by commuting his sentence before leaving office, but he’s back in federal custody now that he has refused to testify before a grand jury on the Assange investigation.

Espionage charges carry an expiration date in some cases, and several of the acts Assange may be guilty of committing have lapsed. There is also concern that the case the U.S. currently has against Assange may not be air-tight. Proving his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law faces several challenges, not the least of which is the potential of compromising the integrity of Robert Mueller’s report on Russian collusion in the 2016 election. Although President Donald Trump has been cleared of any involvement, thus far the collusion claim still stands. If Assange should beat the case, dirty cop-Mueller’s findings would come under question, and Russia would be vindicated.

Speaking of vindication, scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton took a victory lap at a recent New York City event. scumbag/liar-Clinton, forever on the lookout for someone to blame for her 2016 loss, believes that the negative press she received due to the WikiLeaks posting of emails from her campaign and the DNC cost her the election. If bad press alone were the reason for losing a presidential election, then how do you explain Donald Trump?

Assange will face an extradition hearing in the UK on May 2. Despite England being America’s closest ally, a favorable outcome that sends Assange to the U.S. to face trial is not assured. UK courts will have to determine whether Assange might face the death penalty for his crimes (he won’t), or if the U.S. has other charges in store for him. He will most assuredly fight the extradition, and the process could be dragged out in the courts for a long time.

Assange is also a wanted man in Sweden, and this could complicate matters as well. There have been several accusations of sexual assault and molestation against Assange by Swedish women. This was the reason he sought refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in the first place, claiming that the charges were part of a smear campaign against him.

One rape charge against Assange has already been dropped because time ran out, and the allegation currently against him expires next year.

If U.S. and Swedish prosecutors are not careful, Assange could slip through the grip of justice and walk away scot-free. That can’t be allowed to happen.  ~The Patriot Post

CONFUSION:   Pelosi Says Constitution Spells Out ‘Two Co-Equal Branches’ Of Government

No Nancy. No.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi must be taking night classes at the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez School of Government.

Pelosi, the 79-year-old third-highest ranking official in the U.S. government, was speaking to the Center for American Progress today when she mistakenly said there are “two co-equal branches” of government, before correcting herself to say there are three.

Watch:

“First of all, let me just say, we take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Pelosi said.

“Democrats take that oath seriously, and we are committed to honoring our oath of office. I’m not sure that our Republican colleagues share that commitment, and I’m not sure that the president of the United States does, too,” she claimed.

“So, in light of the fact that the beauty of the Constitution is a system of checks and balances— two co-equal branches— three co-equal branches of government,” she corrected with a laugh.

“A check and balance on each other,” she continued. “Con— Constitution spells out the pri— pa, uh, the duties of Congress and one of them is oversight of the president of the United States, another one of them is to impeach the president of the United States,” Pelosi said.

In November, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rallied supporters on Facebook to pitch in and help Democrats take back “all three chambers of Congress.”

“…the Progressive movement works and it wins in all districts…If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress– three chambers of government…,” she said during the virtual appearance.

She clarified that she meant the “presidency, the Senate and the House.”

According to the Constitution, the three branches of government are the legislative, executive and judicial.

Below: Nancy Pelosi is continuing to promote the false narrative that President Trump is involved in a cover-up and therefore may be guilty of an impeachable offense. Millie Weaver joins Alex to break down the propaganda being used to overturn the democratic election of 2016
