E-CIGARETTE BAN: Time magazine reports: “President Donald Trump called vaping a ‘problem’ and his health secretary said the government would force companies to remove flavored vaping products from the market after reports of hundreds of U.S. cases of a mysterious illness related to e-cigarette devices. … More than 450 cases of the respiratory condition were reported as of Sept. 6, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Democrat Bill to Prop Up Social Security
Likely to Pass the House

{ thenewamerican.com } ~ Social Security is in trouble. It has been in trouble for 84 years. Representative John Larson's (D-Conn.) plan to prop it up is a mixture of the same old brew offered by past Congresses to keep the Ponzi-like scheme afloat for a few more years... Called the Social Security 2100 Act, Larson claims to have 210 Democrat cosponsors for it in the House, which means it’s almost certain to pass the House later on this fall. It’s also all but certain that the Republican-controlled Senate will ignore the issue in light of it being the third rail of politics and as the 2020 elections draw ever closer. On the surface the mixture appears enticing: Larson’s bill would increase benefits for all current and future beneficiaries. It would change the inflation adjustment formula called COLA to reflect more accurately changes in the price level. It also increases the minimum benefit for the lowest-paid workers heading into retirement. And it would lower income taxes on benefits as they are paid out. Naturally there are payroll tax increases, but they’re being sold as a tax on the wealthy and a tiny increase on everyone else. Larson’s plan would require those whose earnings rise above $400,000 year to begin paying into the plan again they currently pay only on their first $132,500 of income. For everyone else the plan touts the necessary increase to “a mere 50 cents a week increase, per year.” The hard data show that, on average, over a lifetime of working a millennial worker and his employer would each ante-up an extra $15,500 into the program. In exchange the worker, when he retires, would receive back $80,000 or perhaps a little more. In inflation-adjusted terms, Larson’s plan simply trades today’s dollars for future dollars, which by then will be worth vastly less in purchasing power. Missing from the conversation is any mention of the real solution to the never-ending crisis facing Social Security: ending the program and letting those who earn the money decide what to do with it on their own without government intervention. There are many proposals waiting to be offered and some encouraging history of other welfare state programs being converted to private accounts. At bottom, the issue isn’t making Social Security solvent. The main issue is one of ownership of one’s financial future: Will workers continue to be forced to let the government extract funds from their paychecks in order to return some later when they retire? Or will they be allowed to determine, on their own, what to do with the money they earn?...

We are breaking it up into parts.” So commie-Ocasio-Cortez and her colleagues are busting the bill up into smaller pieces so it will hurt less as they attempt to jam the big government, monstrosity down the collective throat of the American people. Among the things the allegedly “climate-friendly” legislation calls for is to “achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions through a fair and just transition for all communities and workers,” and “to promote justice and equity by stopping current, preventing future and repairing historic oppression” of a litany of intersectional groups that are referred to as “frontline and vulnerable communities.” The initial “pieces” of Green New Deal legislation could be seen as early as this month, according to commie-Ocasio-Cortez. Among those first pieces of legislation will be what commie-AOC describes as the “Green New Deal housing plan.” “We are really excited about it,” the Congresswoman said. “That’s going to be dropping this month, and it’s going to be really a focus on buildings, which is one of the three major industries we have to focus on when it comes to reducing carbon emissions.” Also, on the coming docket is legislation calling for a complete transition away from automobiles that use fossil fuels...

FBI Director scumbag-James Comey and former Secretary of State scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton. "When you're solely focused on going after the president you can't do what's best for the country. And that's been the problem with the Democrats," Jordan said Monday on "Fox & Friends." "scumbag-Jim Comey... is the guy solely responsible for putting the country through three years of this saga that we have now lived through," he continued, arguing that many Americans want to know "when someone's going to jail" over alleged wrongdoing in the Trump-Russia and scumbag/liar-Clinton email investigations. Last month, a Justice Department inspector general report said that scumbag-Comey violated FBI policy when he revealed information about discussions with President Trump to people outside the agency. Last year, the inspector general criticized scumbag-Comey's handling of the investigation into scumbag/liar-Clinton's use of a private server for emails while she was secretary of state. Jordan claimed much of the Democratic agenda has failed, including their questioning of former Trump attorney Michael Cohen and former special counsel Robert Mueller. He also said they should be more focused on shoring up the southern border and dealing with China's intellectual property theft. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are looking to formally define what Chairman scumbag liar-Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., has referred to as impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Democrats on the committee are planning on voting on how the investigation is defined, through a resolution that would set the boundaries of the probe, Politico reported. "The Michael Cohen hearing didn't work out the way they wanted. The John Dean hearing didn't work out the way they wanted and of course, the Bob Mueller hearing and that investigation didn't work out the way they wanted," Jordan said earlier in the interview. "But that doesn't stop them. They're going to continue to push this ridiculous impeachment narrative," he added. "When they're focused on this warrantless impeachment inquiry, you're not getting done the things we need to be doing, like fixing the border situation -- dealing with... the intellectual property theft of China. The documents, provided to the FBI in June 2016 as the agency was kicking its Trump-Russia investigation into high gear, allege that scumbag/liar-Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal sent her “a series of detailed memos and reports about Libya,” which were intended as a “quid pro quo” which might help a post-Gaddafi Libya recover as much as $66 billion in offshore funds hidden by the slain strongman. According to the private investigators funded by Judicial Watch: “Our evidence shows that Mr. Blumenthal was involved with a group of intelligence professionals seeking to repatriate assets which were plundered and then exfiltrated by the Gaddafi family and hidden in various offshore localities.” If successful, Blumenthal and associates “stood to gain a brokers’ cut of perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars.” The private Libya inquiry leaves important issues unsettled. The documents do not include emails or other original source material to support the allegations within. While claiming to possess evidence that Blumenthal and his associates had contracts and offshore accounts to repatriate the money, the documents say “no concrete evidence” was found suggesting scumbag/liar-Clinton acted to support the effort...

Is Christopher Wray Protecting Andrew McCabe?

The text messages of FBI agents Peter Strzok and paramour Lisa Page have gone a long way to explain and document the attempt by President scumbag/liar-nObama’s government agencies to keep scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton out of prison and Donald Trump out of the White House. One would think the text messages of Andrew McCabe, fired for “lack of candor,” would be a treasure trove of information detailing the coup plotters' machinations and deliberations. So why is Wray fighting to keep them out of public view and away from legal scrutiny? McCabe, the man he worked for, scumbag-Comey, and the people who worked under McCabe, such as Strzok and Page, took the fruit of foreign interference in our election that was the Steele Dossier, compiled from Russian sources, delivered through a British agent, and paid for by the DNC and Team scumbag/liar-Clinton, and used it to commit a fraud upon the FISA court to trigger the illegal surveillance of one political campaign by another with the aid of co-conspirators at the DoJ and FBI. That McCabe himself was a key architect of this coup is found in the texts of Strozk, who speaks of the plan hatched in “Andy’s office” to stop Trump at all costs, with this end justifying any and all means: Out of all the damning, politically charged anti-Trump text messages released, one text from Strzok to Lisa Page on August 15, 2016, raised the most suspicion. It referred to a conversation and a meeting that had just taken place in "Andy's" widely believed to be Deputy FBI Dir. Andrew McCabe's office. According to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Strzok had texted this: "I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office break... that there's no way he gets elected. I want to believe that... But I'm afraid we can't take that risk... We have to do something about it." Indeed it is. Christopher Wray may also be suffering from his own lack of candor in his reasons for hiding McCabe’s text messages. We saw a typical deep-state bob-and-weave in his reaction to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the handling of scumbagt/liar-Hillary Clinton’s emails. Wray’s explanation of the Horowitz report revealed him to be just another deep state-shill willing to ignore the attempted and ongoing coup against the duly elected president, Donald J. Trump. A 9/11 RetrospectivePublius: Today we solemnly mark the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack on our nation, when 2,977 innocents, mostly American citizens, were murdered by 19 Islamic fascists. There were 2,763 people murdered in New York, including the passengers and crew of AA flight 11 and UA flight 175. The victims included 343 firefighters and paramedics, 23 police officers and 37 Port Authority officers. At the Pentagon, 189 people were murdered, including 64 aboard AA flight 77. In Pennsylvania, 44 people were murdered aboard AA flight 93. More than 6,000 others were injured. Though mostly U.S. citizens, the victims were also from 77 other countries.
