Alexander Vindman, with the help of Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff (D-CA), was evasive in answering questions from Republicans during the colonel’s closed-door deposition late last month... scumbag-Schiff, the leader of the impeachment inquiry, repeatedly interrupted the Republicans, ordering the witness not to answer questions, according to the transcripts of Vindman’s October 23 testimony unveiled Friday. House Intelligence Committee Chairman scumbag-Schiff and Vindman’s lawyer prevented the witness from answering several questions, including whom he spoke to after listening to the July 25 call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky that triggered the impeachment efforts. The Democrats’ potential obstructions of justice by ordering Vindman to leave out details while testifying under oath suggest that the White House National Security Council (NSC) official focused on Ukraine may have shared information about the call with the so-called “whistleblower.” Some Republicans have accused scumbag-Schiff of coaching and coordinating with the “whistleblower,” believed to be anti-Trump, to damage the U.S. President. The “whistleblower” met with scumbag-Schiff’s office. Another question sidelined by the Democrats was whether Vindman intentionally worked to undermine Trump’s policy. “You are interrupting us, and we have questions. He has counsel who can tell him he’s not to answer that,” Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio, the top Republican on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, told scumbag-Schiff. Republicans accused scumbag-Schiff of obstructing the impeachment probe by “coaching” Vindman on what he could and could not say. Vindman is the director of European Affairs at the National Security Council (NSC) official who listened in on the July 25 call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which ultimately triggered the impeachment probe. Jordan asked Vindman, “Who else did you talk to following the July 25th call?” “I reached out to a group of counterparts and informed them of a call. And, frankly, the reasoning behind it, I don’t think I could talk about in this context,” Vindman replied. Rep. scumbag-Swalwell (D-CA), one of Trump’s fiercest critics, ordered Vindman to stop answering Jordan’s questions, citing protecting the “whistleblower’s” identity as the reason. “Chairman, I want to object that the question calls to reveal the whistleblower,” scumbag-Swalwell interjected as Vindman was trying to respond to the question...

Out the Case Against Impeaching Trump

The 18-page memorandum offered by GOP members of the House Intelligence, Oversight and Government Reform, and Foreign Affairs committees offers “four key pieces of evidence that are fatal to the Democrats’ allegations” of wrongdoing by the president involving his July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. “Stripping away the hyperbole and hysteria, these indisputable pieces of evidence show that there was no ‘Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors,’ as required by the U.S. Constitution,” the memo reads. First, the Republicans point out, the call summary “shows no conditionality or evidence of pressure” to investigate Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, regarding their dealings in Ukraine. Second, “President Zelensky and President Trump have both said there was no pressure on the call.” Third, “The Ukrainian government was not aware of the hold on U.S. assistance at the time of the July 25 call.” Finally, Trump met with Zelensky at the United Nations in late September and released the foreign aid Sept. 11 without Ukraine having opened an investigation into the loose lips liar-Bidens.“These four key points undercut the Democrat impeachment narrative that President Trump leveraged U.S. security assistance and a presidential meeting to force Ukraine to investigate the President’s political rivals,” the memo reads. The Republicans noted in their memo (page 15) that both acting U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine Bill Taylor and former special representative for Ukraine negotiations Kurt Volker testified in closed-door hearings, being overseen by Democratic House Intelligence Committee Chairman scumbag-Adam Schiff, that the Ukraine government was not aware of the aid being held up until late August. The implication is if Trump was trying to demand a quid pro quo, implied or otherwise, on his call, the Ukrainians did not understand it that way...

After more than an hour of arguments, the court’s conservative wing of the bench appeared ready to side with President Trump in his efforts to rescind the program, which was started under President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama in 2012 and provides legal protections for young immigrants. The dispute is one of the most closely watched of the Supreme Court’s blockbuster term, and hanging in the balance is the fate of 700,000 Dreamers, the name given to those brought to the United States illegally as children and shielded from the threat of deportation. A decision by the court is expected by the end of June, in the heart of the 2020 presidential campaign. A central question in the trio of cases before the court is whether the Trump administration’s rescission of DACA can even be reviewed by the courts. Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch raised questions as to whether the courts should do so, with Gorsuch saying he was “still struggling” with whether the executive branch's decision should be reviewed. A coalition of states, civil rights organization, and Dreamers challenged Trump’s attempt to shut down DACA and argue the explanation for doing so — detailed in memos written by former acting Homeland Security Secretary Elaine Duke and former Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen — rests on a faulty legal premise. When then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced in September 2017 the Trump administration would roll back DACA, he said its justification for doing so was based on the assessment the program violated the law...

files complaint over whistleblower donations

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ The whistleblower who spurred impeachment proceedings against President Trump is now the subject of a complaint that says the official may be soliciting illegal donations... The complaint, which was filed last week by an intelligence officer, was sent to the Intelligence Community inspector general and focuses on a GoFundMe page for the whistleblower that has raised more than $227,000. According to a letter sent by the law firm Tully Rinckey PLLC, their client alleges donations from roughly 6,000 individuals "clearly constitute" gifts to a current intelligence official, which are restricted by statute. Because many of the donors are anonymous, the complaint asks Inspector General of the Intelligence Community Michael Atkinson to investigate whether any "foreign citizen or agent of a foreign government" gave money. The complaint also said the whistleblower's lawyers may be abusing their client's access to classified information. "My client believes ... that the federal employee you are protecting and their attorneys apparently have strategically weaponized their alleged whistleblowing activities into a very lucrative money-making enterprise using a charity incorporated under a different name than the trade name it is using for fund-raising purposes, which would appear to my client to be a clear abuse of the federal employee's authority and access to classified information," Anthony Gallo, the managing partner of Tully Rinckey, said in the letter sent on Nov. 8. The person who filed the new complaint remains anonymous, but Tully Rinckey described their client to Fox News as someone who has served in government and holds a top-secret security clearance. "This isn’t about politics, it is about ethics and ensuring our intelligence officials aren’t collecting cash to pay for their expenses from anonymous or foreign intelligence agencies," Gallo told the Washington Examiner. He actually expects them to do their job... Sadly, our best suffer thanks to this swamp. Veterans are struggling while awaiting care from our country. President Trump refused to let that stand. He’s taken steps to make sure that, on this Veterans Day, not one hero will be forgotten. The first step? Getting rid of anyone that refuses to do their duty to help these men and women in need. And the tally is up to 8,000. “The standard is if you don’t live up to your oath if you don’t live up to the standards that our veterans expect, that you will be asked to leave,” Wilkie told reporters in a press conference on Friday. “This is a transformational moment in our history.” Wow. Since Trump entered the White House, over 8,000 VA employees were fired. Trump set a high standard: do your job. And over 8,000 people got pink slips. Can you believe that? All that the president asked for was to do their job and care for our veterans. Yet 8,000 of them were kicked to the curb because they failed to help our veterans. Imagine a company with over 8,000 staffers not doing their jobs? It would be out of business in a month.

I remember well President Ronald Reagan’s forceful remarks two years earlier. On 12 June 1987 at the Brandenburg Gate in then-West Berlin, he spoke pointedly to the Russian leader of the USSR. He demanded: “General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”
Reagan spoke near the location where John Kennedy delivered his “Ich bin ein Berliner” (“I am a Berliner”) unification speech on 26 June 1963, but it took President Reagan to crush the Soviet empire without firing a Cold War shot, at least in open warfare. There were a great many American lives lost endeavoring to contain the communist threat, most notably in Korea and Vietnam.
A military colleague on our National Advisory Committee recounted that the Brandenburg Gate officially opened on 22 December 1989. That night, he and a friend, both in military uniform, crossed into East Berlin. They received a very different welcome reception compared to the one for which they had spent their previous decade training.
President Reagan’s speechwriter, Peter Robinson, now a Hoover Institution fellow, observed that State Department officials wanted Reagan’s bold call for Liberty struck from his speech. However, notes Robinson: “After the Berlin Wall toppled … Reagan’s words … came to define a turning point in U.S.-Soviet relations. What was once deemed audacious had become auspicious.”
A day ahead of this weekend’s anniversary, a statue of President Reagan was unveiled at the U.S. embassy in Berlin. Donald Trump’s U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, dedicated the embassy terrace overlooking the Brandenburg Gate in President Reagan’s name, and that is where his statue will reside, despite objections from the German government.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who was a young Army tank commander in West Germany at the time of Reagan’s Brandenburg remarks, channeled his advocacy for freedom in his own comments at the ceremony dedicating the statue. Pompeo rebuked “former KGB officer” Vladimir Putin and described how Russia continues to “invade its neighbors and slay political opponents.”
I have been in the belly of the Soviet beast more than a few times in my career and know firsthand the consequences of socialist tyranny. In stark contrast to the efforts to secure our southern border, the Berlin Wall, like the rest of the Soviet block border, served the purpose of keeping people IN, not out.
However, today, largely because of the relentless leftward march of the Socialist Democrat Party, almost 70% of Millennials say they would vote for a socialist candidate, having been led far astray by presidential candidate commie-Bernie Sanders and his socialist ilk. Fully a third of those young people say they approve of communism.
