The Tar Baby

Hello….

I am new here to the tea party… I embrace your values, and the constitution. But let me point out, I am Catholic, before I am anything. I am a free man. What is the price of freedom, death… It was Christ who taught us this. So…??? What makes me free? The fact I will live no other way, least I die. Through the resurrection of Christ, we have no fear of death, so we are free… To live free. Take this Easter to consider this gift, and the power it puts in your hands to change the world. Another question I’d like you to consider, do you want the American Way to return for yourself? Or because it’s the right thing to do?

Remember a few words of JFK, “Ask not what your country can do for you, instead, Ask, what you can do for your country.” And, “We choose to do these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”

We are making a fundamental mistake in our thinking. There is an old saying… “The devil is in the details.” We are playing the democrat’s game, we are in the mire. The devil fights best in the mud. And in the mud is were he wants to keep you, cause he can whip your ass in the mud. Get out of the mire. If what you are doing is the right thing, then why would it lead to mud?

First of all you have to back off a moment, get off the field, go up into the bleachers, and have a look at it from on high, and you’ll see they are not playing the game, they have you playing.

What is the game?… Man is an animal, no getting around it, and as an animal, he has three basic motivating factors…Food, sleep and sex. In that order. Food, sleep and sex. The driving forces behind liberalism focuses on these three. Think about it… Food Stamps… Housing… Free condemns.

Get the picture?

Our grandparents, and theirs before them, condensed wisdom into the form of ole sayings. Something the hippy’s thought was stupid, and threw out, and didn’t teach it to their children.

Things like, “Birds of a feather flock together.” “A stitch in time saves nine.” “Well done, is better than well said.” “Action speaks louder than words.” “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.” “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” “A fool and his money are soon parted.” “Feed a cat, and he’s yours.” “I’m not your friend, I’m your father.”  “I carry a gun not to kill, but to stay alive.” “You’ve got the horse before the cart.” “First punch wins the fight.” “If it’s worth doing, then it’s worth doing well.” “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck… It’s a duck.” “High tide lifts all boats.” A man might be king of his castle, but a woman rules the root.”

I think much of our thinking could be cleared up if we would go back and read some bedtime stories (out of very old books). Like; “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” Obama is running around as naked as a jaybird, and nobody can see it.

“The Three Little Pigs.” “The Little Red Hen. ”Midas.” “Little Red Hiding Hood.” For God’s sake… You don’t dress your little girls up in a nice red hood and cape and then send her out among wolves. And then act suprized when she’s eaten. “The Tar Baby.”

The Tar Baby… The Democrats are using exactly that against us in the public arena. This is one of the reasons incumbents have got to go, because they are tangled in the tar baby. That’s what these ginned up news stories are all about, each one is no more than a new tar baby. Quit touching it! Quit struggling! Learn the game, and just like Briar Rabbit, use who they are, against them.
