The Liberal Masquerade
It is articulated within the Declaration of Independence that the people have the Natural Right to Liberty and Freedom FROM even a tyrannical regime or govt -- even if that gov't is our own! Regardless of party affiliation.
The 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution says the People have the Lawful Right as well to protect and defend ourselves, our loved ones, and our property.
A criminal, by its very definition, is a person that defies, evades, or violates our laws. Such behaviors are the acts of sociopaths -- as well as psychopaths. They have NO regard for, let alone any respect for, other people's safety, property, or even their very lives.
As such, there are NO laws or mere regulations, that will ever deter them from commiting a crime. Did Prohibition ever stop the trafficking, or even the very connsumption, of alcohol? No. Quite the contrary. It gave us the ruthless gangsters and mobsters like Capone, Luciano and Lansky. It also created the great wealth and political power of Joseph Kennedy as well.
The same applies to the delusional, and proven failure, that is the topic of "gun control" regulations -- Which has PROVEN to only limit, and even deny, LAWFUL Citizens to "lawfully" protect and defend their property and even their very lives. Who favors and even gain w/ these controls? The CRIMINALS, of course! Again, they wipe their filthy behinds w/ these worthless restrictions. The US cities that enforce those restrictions have the largest crime / shooting rates. In Paris, the local police were armed w/ BICYCLES - while terrorists are armed full automatic weapons! If not that, they use KNIVES and even TRUCKS. The very well funded and highly organized terror groups, like Al Qaeda / ISIS for instance, get their funding from nations like Iran and Saudi Arabia. Did gun restrictions deter the attacks on September 11, 2001; or the massacre at Ft Hood, etc? Not at all.
