The Black Hole

“While Obama promises the world and emases more money ( five bucks each from millions of the known and from ‘mystery’ donors millions) it is easy not to notice endless elephants running through the living room destroying everything in site."

A History Channel discussion on black holes last night finds me this morning with the question of the meaning of life.  Whole galaxies disappearing in black holes, the question: Is the basic information that created the galaxy retained or does it disappear?  I’d already thought out the answer. From nothing you get nothing.   Is the whole universe eventually going to be swallowed in a black hole, leaving nothing?  How did it get here?  The idea that a black hole leaves nothing makes no sense.

Last night’s History Channel discussion did not get into consciousness.  More lately, science has accepted consciousness as being here before any thing was here, which reminds me that Jesus said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God.”  Science now tells us that there is a supreme consciousness of the universe to which we are connected; that we should look within for our answers.

I give myself credit for being born with reason and logic, which is fundamental to the law. It is illogical to think it all begins and ends with the time-space universe, in the first place, because there could be only one beginning, one ending. I’m consciously aware, and limited to that which I think is believable. That fact makes me subjective. I’m not mentally “hive” oriented.   Legal, being the form of law, can be La La Land, but the law demands substance.

The legal game being played at this time in Washington, D.C. is the idea that government has the duty to do what is best for all. It’s a construction of law that has no substance. This idea has been there ever since Roosevelt said government has the duty to keep the individual from starving. He said that during the Great Depression.  The Great Depression ended with World War II, but the idea remains that we individuals cannot survive without government help.  The help came first, then the idea from self-serving politicians.  Roosevelt called this we have now the same as dependence on narcotics.

The Founding Fathers wrote a constitution that did not give the individual government assistance.  Notwithstanding the Great Depression, somehow, we survived to become the most powerful nation on earth.  It is now as though we’ve fallen into a black hole. How quaint! The past is of no consequence. We do what is deemed to be for the good of all, based on today’s needs; that is, the way we see it.  It’s called democracy, whatever is necessary now—no past, no future.  Call it Sharia law; call it collective salvation; but don’t call it the law.

There are those of us who use our minds.  We are of our archetype.  There is a distinct difference in the types.  There is the type that is simply here because they are here, the government dependent type—from cradle to grave.  The one type can be rich, the other, generally speaking,  poor and needy. Starting with the black hole, here today, gone tomorrow, or here with a purpose, which is it?  It depends on how consciously aware is one.  Welcome to the Age of Aquarius.
