Nunes demands scumbag-Schiff testify
in private as part of House impeachment inquiry
By Brooke Singman
{ } ~ The top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee has formally requested that the panel's chairman, Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff, D-Calif., testify in a closed-door setting... as part of the impeachment inquiry against  President Trump. Fox News has obtained a letter written by committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., who demanded that scumbag-Schiff appear for a deposition in private before lawmakers. "On November 6th, you announced the beginning of public hearings associated with the Democratic Party's partisan impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump," Nunes wrote Friday. "Based on the precedent and lack of jurisdiction, the House Intelligence Committee should not take the lead in conducting such hearings; however, by now the American people know your desire to see the duly-elected president removed from office outweighs your sense of responsibility to running a functioning intelligence oversight committee. "Prior to the start of your public show trial next week, at least one additional closed-door deposition must take place," he continued. "Specifically, I request that you sit for a closed-door deposition before the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight Committees." Nunes went on to note that in August 2019, scumbag-Schiff and his staff "met with or talked to the whistleblower who raised an issue with President Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky." "Although you publicly claim nothing inappropriate was discussed, the three committees deserve to hear directly from you the substance and circumstances surrounding any discussions conducted with the whistleblower, and any instructions you issued regarding those discussions,"  Nunes wrote. "Given that you have reneged on your public commitment to let the committees interview the whistleblower directly, you are the only individual who can provide clarity as to these conversations."...
Transcript of President Trump Chopper Presser
on Multiple Issues and Current Events
by sundance
{ } ~ Earlier today President Trump held an extensive chopper presser with the White House press pool on a variety of topics... THE PRESIDENT: I just told them, “I’ve got to come over and see the fake news.” Let’s go. What do you have, John? Q Mr. President, what do you think of the testimony of the deposition that has been released so far? And are you concerned about public hearings next week? THE PRESIDENT: I’m not concerned about anything. The testimony has all been fine. I mean, for the most part, I’ve never even heard of these people. I have no idea who they are. They’re some very fine people; you have some Never-Trumpers. It seems that nobody has any firsthand knowledge. There is no firsthand knowledge. And all that matters is one thing: the transcript. And the transcript is perfect. Mark Levin, last night, on television — who is a great constitutional lawyer — he broke it down. He said, “What Trump said…” And he was respectful, he said, “President Trump.” “What President Trump said was perfect on the transcript. What he said on that telephone call with the President of Ukraine was perfect.” He said, “No other — nothing else matters. And what he said was perfect.” And he analyzed it — every line, every paragraph. It was not complex; it was perfect. Nothing else matters...
State Department Slams Iran for Blocking
Nuclear Inspector From Accessing
Contested Sites
by Adam Kredo
{ } ~ U.S. State Department officials described Iran's blocking of an international nuclear inspector from accessing key nuclear sites last week... as an "outrageous and unwarranted act of intimidation" amid growing concerns Iran is hiding undeclared nuclear materials. Iran confirmed earlier this week it had blocked an international nuclear inspector from accessing key sites for mandated oversight. U.S. officials and nuclear experts described Iran's behavior as highly unusual and dangerous. As the country continues to bolster its enrichment of uranium—the key component in a nuclear weapon—it is becoming increasingly clear that Tehran has no interest in living up to international commitments to provide transparency about its nuclear program, particularly regarding work on the weapons front. Iran said that it had blocked at least one inspector from physically entering its Natanz uranium enrichment site because she was carrying "suspicious" materials that could have been explosive. However, nuclear inspectors commonly carry signs of explosive residue due to the nature of their work, and safety procedures for such situations exist, experts told the Washington Free Beacon. A State Department spokesman confirmed to the Free Beacon that Iran had detained the IAEA inspector, adding that the incident bolsters concerns the Trump administration has about Iran being in possession of undeclared nuclear materials. "Iran's detention of an IAEA inspector was without question an outrageous and unwarranted act of intimidation," the State Department official said on background. "Iran's justifications strain credibility—IAEA inspectors must be permitted to conduct their work unimpeded. Although the inspector is now safe, such acts by Iran will not be tolerated." The administration suspects that Iran is trying to prevent international inspectors from confirming its work with prohibited nuclear materials...
Testimony: How Trump helped Ukraine

{ } ~ One notable and little-reported conclusion emerging from the House Democratic impeachment proceedings is a consensus among some foreign policy professionals... that President Trump's Ukraine policy has been an improvement over President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama's. Ukraine was an occasionally hot issue in the 2016 campaign for all the wrong reasons. At the Republican convention, a false headline in the Washington Post, "Trump campaign guts GOP's anti-Russia stance on Ukraine," gave birth to a false narrative that candidate Trump, desperate to appease Vladimir Putin, would undermine U.S. support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. Then Trump became president, and his administration enacted a new policy that not only continued a broad range of assistance to Ukraine but also expanded that aid to include the provision of Javelin anti-tank missiles — the so-called "lethal aid" that the scumbag/liar-nObama administration had declined to provide. The Trump aid program has significantly helped Ukraine defend itself against Russia, according to three career foreign policy officials whose impeachment investigation testimony has been released in recent days: William Taylor, the highest-ranking American diplomat in Ukraine; Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy for Ukraine; and Marie Yovanovitch, the former ambassador to Ukraine who was recalled by Trump in May. Start with Taylor. Questioned by Republican lawyer Steve Castor, Taylor called Trump administration policy a "substantial improvement" over what came before. "Once you joined the administration in Kiev, were you happy with the package of aid?" asked Castor...
Meghan Kelly’s Bombshell Interview
with woman fired over O’Keefe tape
By M. Dowling
{ } ~  Meghan Kelly interviewed the woman who was fired from CBS News over allegedly leaking the hot mic video of Amy Robach... exposing ABC News for refusing to air damning footage of Jeffrey Epstein three-plus years ago. The woman, Ashley Bianco, said she did not leak the tape, but CBS News fired her without letting her explain. Ms. Bianco said she never met James O’Keefe or ever heard of Project Veritas until now. The whistleblower has come out to say they have the wrong person. In the Meghan Kelly interview, Ms. Bianco says she just bookmarked the clip that occurred during a live broadcast. She never did a thing with it.The whistleblower could have been anyone who had access to the tape or the live broadcast. James O’Keefe has come out to say Ms. Bianco is not the whistleblower. The whistleblower has also said they have the wrong person. The one thing that stuns is that ABC News doesn’t seem to care that they sat on this evidence while Jeffrey Epstein was perverting underage girls.
Ex-Jihadist Calls Out dinky/liar-Warren,
commie-Sanders for Backing
Palestinian 1% Jihadists
{ } ~ “You are partners in everything that is being done to us, you are collaborating in the suffering of the Palestinian people,” the crackling Arabic-accented voice on the phone says... “You think that you are working for peace, but you are actually supporting the terrorists of the Palestinian Authority.” He pauses as he ponders the events going on thousands of miles away in Washington D.C. “You are not working for peace, but for murder.” That’s Muhammad’s message to J Street. The anti-Israel organization claims that it wants to listen to ‘Palestinians.’ But the man I’m on the phone with is one Palestinian they don’t want to hear from. While Senator Elizabeth dinky/liar-Warren and other 2020 Democrats bemoaned President Trump’s eviction of the Palestinian Authority’s diplomatic delegation from Washington D.C., he’s all for it. “We don’t want them. If the Democrats want them,” Muhammad says. “They can take and keep them.” While I’m on the phone with Muhammad, and Amit Deri of Reservists on Duty, a pro-Israel campus group getting the real story out there, in D.C., commie-Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Amy Klobuchar, and other 2020 Democrats are partying with the biggest anti-Israel group in America. Reservists on Duty, a group of former Israeli soldiers, whose Shillman Fellow activists come to American college campuses to tell the truth about Israel, have a fraction of J Street’s massive budget. None of the 2020 Democrats come to visit their events. Instead, Amit and other Reservists are in touch with Arabs like Muhammad who are telling the stories that J Street doesn’t want its members to hear. Muhammad had spent 7 years in an Israeli prison fighting for a Palestinian state. And when he got out of prison, he learned the hard way the ugly reality of what he had really been fighting for...
Incremental Progress on Immigration
Lewis Morris:  According to a recently released policy assessment by the Department of Homeland Security, the Trump administration’s Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) have made significant progress toward reducing the number of illegal immigrants seeking asylum in the United States.

Established in January, the MPP requires that migrants coming from the southern border seeking asylum must wait in Mexico while their cases go through the immigration courts. In previous years, migrants seeking asylum were allowed to remain in the U.S., a loophole that many used to simply disappear into the country without showing up for their hearings.

Thanks to a bilateral agreement President Donald Trump made with Mexico over the summer, migrants now stay in camps on the Mexican side of the border, where they are given permission to pursue employment while they await their day in court. They appear before a U.S. immigration judge via video conference.

DHS has rated the program a success, with 13,000 cases having been heard through October. There are currently 20,000 migrants sheltered in Mexico, and the DHS assessment indicates that a significant number of the 55,000 returned migrants have abandoned their asylum claims and returned to their home countries.

Customs and Border Patrol officials also noted recently that border apprehensions have declined for four consecutive months, with 52,000 migrants apprehended or turned away at the border in September. Numbers for October are still forthcoming, but this represents a 65% drop off from the eye-popping 144,000 apprehensions in May. Acting CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan noted that MPP, bilateral agreements with Guatemala and El Salvador, and efforts to close immigration loopholes have done a lot to restore integrity to the immigration system.

At the same time, the number of refugees settling in the U.S. has also significantly decreased, with not one refugee admitted to the U.S. since the beginning of the fiscal year on Oct. 1. (By contrast, more than 11,000 refugees were admitted during the same period in 2016.) President Trump recently limited the number of refugees to be resettled in the U.S. to a record-low 18,000 for FY2020. The ceiling in previous years was much higher, averaging approximately 75,000 during the Bush and scumbag/liar-nObama administrations.

These numbers indicate that President Trump has kept his promise to clean up immigration, though it has been a costly fight with a few setbacks. Appeals courts have consistently ruled against the administration with regard to sanctuary cities. Trump has tried to use the power of the purse against the more than 500 city, county, and state jurisdictions that refuse to comply with federal immigration law. Withholding federal grants and money for law enforcement has led to numerous court challenges, most recently with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The common thread in rejecting Trump’s actions is that only Congress can authorize conditions on federal grants to state and local governments. The administration has argued that only the federal government may dictate immigration policy, and these so-called sanctuary cities are refusing to comply with federal law. The bitter irony of this court fight is that the overwhelmingly leftist sanctuary jurisdictions are claiming federalist principles in making their case. It must be nice to pick and choose when to adhere to the governing principles of the United States.

DACA will be returning to the Supreme Court Nov. 12, when three consolidated cases will be heard. At issue is whether the president has the authority to roll back the program by executive order, which was established by President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama … by executive order. Lower courts stacked with Democrat appointees have fought Trump at every step, claiming his decisions was based on “racial animus.” The last time DACA was before the High Court was in 2016, but the death of Justice Antonin Scalia left the case deadlocked 4-4, and it was returned in place to the lower court. Trump may fare better this time around with the court’s current conservative majority, but only time will tell.

When Trump ran for president in 2016, he made immigration reform a signature issue of his campaign. He spoke out on the country’s inconsistent, toothless, and utterly failed immigration policy, and his promise to secure the southern border and change the broken immigration system was one of the main reasons he was elected president. That being the case, leftists are doing everything they can do stymy his efforts and prevent his reelection. Despite their efforts, the outlook is improved for a stronger immigration system and more secure border.
