{foxnews.com} ~ President Trump fired back Friday at Democrats calling for his impeachment within moments of the 116th Congress convening... claiming he's had “the most successful first two years” of any president. Trump spoke out on the impeachment calls after a video surfaced of freshman Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib making a profanity-laced vow to remove him from office. She subsequently defended her remarks, saying she will "always speak truth to power." “How do you impeach a president who has won perhaps the greatest election of all time, done nothing wrong no Collusion with Russia, it was the Dems that Colluded, had the most successful first two years of any president, and is the most popular Republican in party history 93%? ”He also said that Democrats "only want to impeach me because they know they can’t win in 2020, too much success!" Trump's claim of 93 percent support refers only to his support among loyal Republicans. Gallup polling for months has shown his job approval ratings underwater, with support hovering lately around 40 percent. Yet amid the various controversies surrounding his administration and the recent stock market dive, Trump on Friday was armed with a major dose of positive news when the Labor Department said employers added a stunning 312,000 jobs in December, blowing past expectations...  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-fires-back-at-impeachment-frenzy-after-dems-profanity-laced-threat?utm_source=american-truth_org

Trump Delivers a Victory to Iran

{fdd.org} ~ During the presidential campaign, the outlier in Donald Trump’s foreign-policy orations was his treatment of Iran... On Europe, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Russia remember President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s “off-mic” tête-à-tête with President Dmitry Medvedev?, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Trump largely followed his predecessor. Differences existed, certainly in style and manner, but the overlap between the two men on most of the big foreign-policy questions was profound. When it came to the clerical regime in Iran, however, the two men were polar opposites. Trump thought the nuclear agreement with Iran, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, was “the worst deal ever.” He also let loose against Tehran’s Islamic radicalism, terrorism, quest for regional hegemony, and fondness for sowing mayhem in the Middle East. Trump’s serrated rhetoric stood in contrast to the comments of scumbag/liar-nObama, his secretary of state, and other senior officials, who had muted their criticisms of Tehran in their pursuit of the atomic accord and, as important, a new strategic realignment, wherein a less interventionist America might, so the theory went, find a modus vivendi with a richer, commercially engaged, and moderating Islamic Republic. As president, Trump followed through. The nuclear deal went down, the sanctions came back, and despite moments of wobbliness concerning troop deployments in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, the Trump administration held fast in the Middle East. National-Security Advisers H. R. McMaster and John Bolton, United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley, and, perhaps most of all, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo laid out a new approach to the Islamic Republic. The Trump administration wasn’t inclined to roll back the clerical regime, but it did seem ready to contest and contain Iran’s Shiite imperialism in Syria, Yemen, and even in Iraq, in which the president had never evinced much interest. Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. forces from Syria, concurrently with his intention to drastically reduce the number of American soldiers in Afghanistan and the likely soon-to-be-announced further drawdown of U.S. personnel in Iraq, has made mincemeat of the administration’s efforts to contain Iran. If you add up who wins locally by this decision the clerical regime in Iran, Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, Lebanese Hezbollah, Iraqi Shiite radicals, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and who loses Jordan, Israel, the Syrian and Iraqi Kurds and Sunni Arabs, everyone in Lebanon resisting Hezbollah, the vast majority of the Iraqi Shia, the Gulf States, it becomes clear that the interests of the United States have been routed...  https://www.fdd.org/analysis/2018/12/24/trump-delivers-a-victory-to-iran/

Trump Must Not Include DACA
“Fix” In Exchange for Wall

{frontpagemag.com} ~ The partial shut-down of the federal government grinds on while the Democrats, poised to assume the majority in the House of Representatives... refuse to fund a wall to secure the dangerous U.S./Mexican border against the un-inspected entry of people and cargo into the United States. I am compelled to reiterate a point I have made repeatedly in past articles, that a wall along that problematic border would not stop a single person from entering the United States but would force all who seek to enter the United States to undergo the statutorily required inspections and vetting process that is conducted at ports of entry and to record entries or attempted entries by aliens for national security and related purposes. President Trump has refused to sign off on a budget that does not fund the wall that would protect our nation. He has consequently opted to shut down non-essential elements of the federal government. During the failed negotiations President Trump, in confronting a belligerent and recalcitrant Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer, said that he would be proud to shut down the government if he could not get the funding for the wall. scumbag/clown-Schumer accused the President of throwing a temper tantrum. If anyone was throwing anything, I would accuse Mr. scumbag/clown-Schumer and his cohorts of throwing America and Americans under the proverbial bus. What has never been asked of scumbag/clown-Schumer, Pulosi and the other Democrats is why they would not want a wall to prevent the un-inspected entry into the United States, of illegal aliens including criminals, fugitives, terrorists, gang members and massive quantities of narcotics and other contraband...  https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/272432/trump-must-not-include-daca-fix-exchange-wall-michael-cutler

Erdogan’s Anti-Semitism Will Sink Turkey’s Economy

{fdd.org} ~ On Nov. 21, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a meeting of local elected officials that “the famous Hungarian Jew scumbag-Soros” was behind an individual who “financed terrorists”... during the nationwide anti-government protests of 2013. He added that scumbag-George Soros is “a man who assigns people to divide nations and shatter them. He has so much money and he spends it this way.” The individual whom Erdogan smears as a “terrorist financier” is Osman Kavala, one of Turkey’s leading philanthropists and civil-society activists. Turkish authorities arrested Kavala over a year ago and have held him without an indictment. The Turkish president and his media mouthpieces accuse him not only of supporting the widespread protests of 2013, which were sparked by Erdogan’s plans to raze Istanbul’s popular Gezi Park to build a shopping mall, but also the abortive coup of 2016. After Erdogan’s latest attack, scumbag-Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF), citing his “baseless claims,” decided to leave Turkey, likely worried that the safety of their employees was at risk. Ten days earlier, Hakan Altinay, one of the founders of the OSF’s Turkish branch, was arrested. Although OSF announced that it will “continue to support future partners in Turkey who would want to work with them,” this might prove to be impossible for local nongovernmental organizations. Pro-government media have already smeared OSF’s partners as “evil structures,” claiming that “after the Open Society Foundation of Jewish speculator scumbag-George Soros, who is an aide of the great devil the United States and Zionist Israel, fled Turkey,” German foundations picked up where they left off...  https://www.fdd.org/analysis/2018/12/24/erdogans-anti-semitism-will-sink-turkeys-economy/

House Democrats Rebuke Tlaib’s ‘Inappropriate,’
‘Not Helpful’ Promise to Impeach ‘************’ Trump

{freebeacon.com} ~ Both the House Democratic leadership and rank-and-file Democratic members rebuked comments from newly sworn-in Rep. Rashida Tlaib promising to impeach ‘************’ Donald Trump... "We're going to go in there, and we're going to impeach the ‘************’ ," the Michigan Democrat said at Thursday MoveOn rally in Washington, D.C., drawing cheers and whoops from the crowd. When asked about Tlaib's use of profanity in an MSNBC town hall the following morning, House Speaker Nancy Pulosi (D., Calif.) responded that it wasn't worse than anything Trump had said in the past. "I'm not in the censorship business. I don't like that language, I wouldn't use that language, I don't establish language standards for my colleagues," she responded. But Pulosi was more critical of the talk of impeachment, saying that it consolidated the president's base and disclaiming, "That is not the position of the House Democratic Caucus."... Pulosi is lying and covering up and Tialb should be booty out of congress.  https://freebeacon.com/politics/house-democrats-rebuke-tlaibs-inappropriate-not-helpful-promise-to-impeach-motherfer-trump/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=e0bbba67b6-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_03_19_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-e0bbba67b6-45611665

{city-journal.org} ~ Christopher F. Rufo joins City Journal editor Brian Anderson to discuss an urban struggle with street homelessness and the political fight around it in the Pacific Northwest’s largest city.

Known as the “Emerald City” because its surrounding areas are filled with greenery year-round, Seattle has recently seen an explosion of homelessness, crime, and drug addiction. Municipal cleanup crews pick up tens of thousands of dirty needles from the streets, and tent-villages have become a regular presence.

Seattle’s political debate on the question has been maddening: city officials who propose practical solutions to remove individuals or encampments arouse fierce opposition from progressive activists. Ultimately, courageous political leadership will be needed if the city is to solve its homelessness crisis.
