Even Holder Can't Pin Civil Rights Violations on Zimmerman
Nearly three years to the day since George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin in what was ruled self-defense, the nObama Justice Department finally admitted its investigation found "insufficient evidence" to charge Zimmerman with violating Martin's civil rights. Attorney General Eric Holder grudgingly conceded the evidence didn't meet the "high standard for a federal hate crime prosecution," though he insisted we "continue the dialogue" about racial tension. Holder, Barack nObama and the usual suspects of professional racial grievance immediately seized on Martin's death as a platform for their brand of "social justice." That included nObama's infamous pronouncement, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." But attempting to make him a poster boy for "hate crimes" diverts attention from a terribly inconvenient truth: A grossly disproportionate number of murder victims in any year are black men, women and children -- about 9,000 annually. And most of these victims are murdered by other blacks -- with only a handful of cases that might be associated with racism. More...  -The Patriot Post

 The Welcome Mat for Muslims
Barack nObama's Summit on Countering Violent Extremism went over about as well as one might expect from an administration determined to deny the truth regarding that extremism's origins. But the problem is much worse than just semantics. Paul Sperry writes at Investor's Business Daily, "Between 2010 and 2013, the nObama administration imported almost 300,000 new immigrants from Muslim nations -- more immigrants than the U.S. let in from Central America and Mexico combined over that period. ... Many of the recent Muslim immigrants are from terrorist hot spots like Iraq, where the Islamic State operates. From 2010-2013, nObama ushered in 41,094 Iraqi nationals from there. Now the State Department says it will quadruple the number of refugees brought here from Syria, where IS is headquartered." Perhaps many or most of these people are truly refugees. But maybe some are jihadis looking for an American gun-free zone to attack. It's clear that combining nObama's immigration policies with his views on national security is dangerous, and it could have dire implications for our nation. More...   -The Patriot Post

 A Stupid Deal With Iran
Barack nObama once claimed his foreign policy was based on the principle, "Don't do stupid s---." Well, here is one of the most egregiously stupid ideas in recent memory: The U.S. is reportedly considering accepting a deal with Iran that would simply kick the can down the road by a decade or so, allowing Iran to continue its nuclear developments in the meantime and even allowing for reduced restrictions toward the end of the agreement period. (Hanoi John Kerry, of course, denies the report.) Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken, displaying a keen mastery of the obvious, said any such deal would require highly intrusive inspections to verify Iran was meeting the deal's terms. Perhaps fellow State Department deep thinker Marie Harf could explain to him that we are in this mess precisely because Iran has refused to live up to its previous intrusive inspection requirements under the Non-Proliferation Treaty. After 12 years of lying, cheating, hiding facilities, hindering inspectors, etc., now we're supposed to believe Iran will agree to a new deal's inspection terms? Despite all the technical arguments and political dynamics, the problem is a very simple one. Iran is obligated under the Non-Proliferation Treaty to give the International Atomic Energy Agency full, unrestricted access to inspect and verify Iran's peaceful use of nuclear energy. Iran has refused to do so for more than a decade, openly dismissing the IAEA's authority and even more openly mocking the UN's ability to force Iran to comply. Pretending the previous 12 years never happened and accepting Iran's word that this time it really, truly means it when it pledges to accept intrusive inspections is the very definition of "doing stupid s---."  -The Patriot Post
 Cue the GOP Immigration Disaster
It's been less than 100 days since the Republican Party won Congress in the midterm elections. And in that time, it has garnered Barack nObama's veto of the Keystone XL pipeline and a fight over immigration that could gridlock Congress for the rest of the legislative session. On Feb. 27, the Department of Homeland Security will run out of money and partially shut down if Congress doesn't reauthorize its budget. But Senate Democrats are blocking the vote because Republicans tied the issue to funding DHS, the department tasked with discharging nObama's unconstitutional executive actions legalizing five million illegals -- or as the administration now calls them, "Americans-in-waiting." Three times Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell brought forward a bill to fund DHS but defund nObama's immigration policies. Three times Senate Democrats covered for their president, blocking even the consideration of the bill, in order to show how the GOP is frozen with infighting. If DHS is funded fully as Democrats want, then nObama continues his executive reign unchecked. If the GOP stands its ground, Democrats will score a political victory, as DHS would shut down and the Leftmedia talkingheads would skewer the GOP for it. nObama's plan was shrewd.  -The Patriot Post
HILLY STATE DEPARTMENT AUTHORIZED BUBBA’S SKETCHY   CHINA SPEECH
Politico: “Less than a year after Hilly Clinton became secretary of state, former President Bill Clinton asked the State Department to approve a paid, videotaped speech he was asked to make at a gala in Shanghai, sponsored by a Chinese sports foundation. Wealthy hedge fund manager Kai Jiang wanted to pay the former president an undisclosed amount through a charity fund set up by his wife, Crystal Huang, a Chinese TV and film star who regularly serves as fodder for the Chinese tabloids. But unlike hundreds of big-dollar Bill Clinton speeches that sailed through a State Department ethics approval process while Hilly Clinton served as America’s top diplomat, this one raised a note of caution that the Chinese government might actually be funding the speech or planning to profit from it.”

Early warning  - Bubba’s overseas buckraking raised eyebrows last summer, as reported by WashEx: “A joint investigation by the Washington Examiner and the nonprofit watchdog group Judicial Watch found that former President Clinton gave 215 speeches and earned $48 million while his wife presided over U.S. foreign policy, raising questions about whether the Clintons fulfilled ethics agreements related to the Clinton Foundation during Hilly Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state. …State Department officials charged with reviewing Bill Clinton's proposed speeches did not object to a single one.”
Famed Chinese dissident contradicts Hilly’s claimed heroism - The Telegraph: “Hilly Clinton’s account of one of her crowning moments as secretary of state has been flatly contradicted by a leading Chinese activist. Chen Guangcheng, a blind lawyer who escaped house arrest and caused an diplomatic crisis between China and the US by taking refuge in the American embassy in Beijing in 2012, accused the nObama administration and Hilly Clinton of “giving in” to Chinese negotiators.”  -Fox News

Breaking stalemate, Senate votes 98-2 to debate ‘clean’ DHS bill
(Jordain Carney) - Democrats agreed to support the DHS bill after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell (R-Ky.) stripped out provisions inserted by the House that would reverse President nObama’s executive actions on immigration...The only votes against proceeding to the bill came from Sens. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) and Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.). “Democrats will support getting on the House Homeland Security funding bill. In exchange, the leader will provide the only amendment, it will be a clean Homeland Security funding substitute,” Senate Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said.       http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/233836-senate-advances-clean-dhs-bill-in-98-2-vote

Trey Gowdy’s Warning to Dems on Immigration
(Pete Kasperowicz) - Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Wednesday warned Democrats and others that their support for President Barack nObama’s executive action on immigration will only undermine the rule of law, potentially in ways they’ll regret years from now... “You may benefit from the president’s failure to enforce the law today,” Gowdy said at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on nObama’s action. "But I’ll make you this promise,” he warned. “There will come a day where you will cry out for the enforcement of the law. There will come a day when you long for the law to be the foundation of this republic.” “So you be careful what you do with the law today, because if you weaken it today, you weaken it forever,” he concluded.   http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/02/25/watch-trey-gowdys-warning-to-dems-on-immigration-be-careful-what-you-do/

Posing for the Cameras While the Islamic Threat Grows
(Cliff Kincaid) - Rep. Michael McCaul  (R-TX), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, says the danger is great that the thousands of Syrian refugees coming into the United States will include terrorists who want to kill Americans...So what is he doing about it? He told Sean Hannity of Fox News the other night that he has sent a letter! He said, “I sent a letter to National Security Advisor Susan Rice asking her to explain why she’s doing this, and to try to stop this from happening. My job as chairman of Homeland Security is to protect the American people. I believe this will put Americans at risk.” “Keep up the good work,” said Hannity.       http://www.aim.org/aim-column/posing-for-the-cameras-while-the-islamic-threat-grows/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email022615&utm_medium=email

Black Ministers Defy CBC, Will Welcome Netanyahu
(Peter Malcolm) - Defying leaders of the Congressional Black Caucus who are boycotting Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress on March 3, claiming...that the invitation from Speaker of the House backstabber John Boehner bypassed and showed disrespect to their leader, President nObama, some black ministers, along with Star Parker, the founder and president of The Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), a public policy think tank, plan to welcome Netanyahu to Congress. Parker blasted the CBC on CURE‘s website, asserting: “While the Congressional Black Caucus claims it has 'consistently been the voice for people of color,' it seems this brazenly political move couldn’t be further from the voice of black Christians in America.”       http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/black-ministers-defy-cbc-will-welcome-Netanyahu

Clinton DID Take Money While Secretary of State   (theconservativetreehouse.com) - The defenders of Hilly Clinton have stated that during her tenure as Secretary of State the Clinton foundation (Clinton Global Initiative, or CGI) did not take money from foreign governments...You might have heard that ‘talking point’ repeated frequently over the past two weeks whenever the issue was raised. However, recent inquiry and admissions by the Clinton Team now indicate that talking point is not true.  Not even close to being true. As the Washington Post points out, the Clinton Foundation DID TAKE money from the governments Hilly was visiting and dealing with while she was Secretary of State. The only thing that changed during her tenure was that no NEW governments were allowed to participate.   http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/02/26/clinton-did-take-money-while-secretary-of-state-hillary-has-a-serious-conflict-of-interest-problem/

What if the government fears freedom?
(Judge Andrew Napolitano) - What if the current massive spying on Americans began with an innocent secret executive order signed by President Reagan in 1986? What if Reagan contemplated that he was only authorizing American spies to spy on foreign spies unlawfully present in the U.S.?...What if Reagan knew and respected the history of the Fourth Amendment? What if the essence of that history is the colonial revulsion at the British use of general warrants? What if general warrants were issued by a secret court in London and authorized British agents in America to search wherever they wished and to seize whatever they found? What if the revulsion at this British government practice was so overwhelming that it led to the Revolutionary War against the king?       http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/what-if-the-government-fears-freedom/
Hanoi Kerry defends Iran nuclear talks as dissidents claim proof of Tehran deception
Guy Taylor

(jewishworldreview.com) - Secretary of State Hanoi John F. Kerry defended the nObama administration's pursuit of a nuclear deal with Iran in the face of mounting bipartisan scrutiny from lawmakers Tuesday - even as an Iranian dissident group claimed to have fresh proof that Tehran has lied to world powers about its drive to obtain a nuclear weapon.

With Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu heading to Capitol Hill next week to argue against the deal, Mr. Hanoi Kerry told lawmakers not to judge the deal until it is completed.

"I caution people to wait and see what these negotiations produce," Mr. Hanoi Kerry said in response to news reports suggesting that the administration is close to a deal in which Iran would be allowed to increase its nuclear activities after a 10-year period of restrictions and inspection from outside powers.

"Anybody running around right now, jumping in to say, 'Well, we don't like the deal' doesn't know what the deal is. There is no deal yet," Mr. Hanoi Kerry told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee Tuesday morning during the first of two State Department budget hearings.

He told a subsequent Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that the administration's policy is still to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon but to do so diplomatically, in a way that avoids a military confrontation.

Mr. Hanoi Kerry's plea seemed to have little effect on critics, including some Democrats.

Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey, the ranking Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee, told Mr. Hanoi Kerry that he was concerned about news "leaking from the negotiations" that Iran will be left with "a vast majority of its nuclear infrastructure" under the proposed deal.

Any deal that relieves Iran of Western sanctions while allowing it to "go from being a threshold to an actual nuclear weapons state is no deal at all," Mr. Menendez said.

Noting that the nObama administration suggested a 20-year pact with Tehran, Mr. Menendez said, "Now we're talking about a 10-year time frame - if it's true - and with relief in the five latter years of the 10 years. That's problematic."

Mr. Hanoi Kerry insisted that the administration and its negotiating partners - Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China - want a long-term deal under which Iran's pathways to a bomb are "closed off." Specifically, he said, inspections would prevent any weapons development activity at Iran's Natanz, Arak and Fordow nuclear facilities.

"Covert, of course, is the hardest," Mr. Hanoi Kerry said. "You need to have verification and intrusive inspection to be able to find covert" facilities.

Cheating accusations

While Mr. Hanoi Kerry spoke, an Iranian dissident group that exposed past Iranian nuclear deceptions was arguing that the problems with inspection and verification would remain - that Tehran hasn't come clean about its nuclear programs.

That Iran's government has been lying for years to United Nations nuclear inspectors, the National Coalition of Resistance of Iran asserted that scientists in the Islamic Republic have been running a secret uranium enrichment operation at a facility buried deep beneath the ground in the northeastern suburbs of Tehran since 2008.

The facility, known as "Lavizan-3," has been used for clandestine nuclear program research and development, as well as for enrichment with advanced IR-2m and IR-4 centrifuge machines, according to the resistance coalition.

Its claim was not immediately verifiable, and the dissident group has a controversial history in Washington. However, the group is thought to have deep sources inside Iran's nuclear community, and its members are credited with making game-changing revelations about Tehran's activities in the past.

The group said its latest claims were the result of a 10-year "detailed, risky and complex" intelligence gathering effort by members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq. The "MEK" is a main component of the coalition of resistance but has long drawn scrutiny in Washington because the State Department had listed it as a terrorist organization until 2012.

Although the MEK appears to be virulently opposed to the regime in Tehran, U.S. officials have said the group's terrorist listing was related to attacks its members carried out against U.S. interests in the Middle East decades ago.

The National Coalition of Resistance of Iran said Tuesday that MEK operatives have "highly placed sources within the Iranian regime as well as those involved in the nuclear weapons projects."

Iranian officials have long argued that their nuclear program is for purely peaceful and civilian purposes. The U.S. and its allies say Tehran has secretly tried to build a bomb in violation of orders from the U.N. Security Council, and Western powers for years have leveled economic sanctions and pursued a global embargo on Iranian oil.

The resistance coalition's accusations did not come up at either of Mr. Hanoi Kerry's congressional hearings Tuesday.

Apart from Iran, the hearings covered a range of issues facing the nObama administration's foreign policy, including the Islamic State, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Cuba and the president's $50.3 billion budget request for the State Department and USAID through next year.

One key difference from the last fiscal year budget request is a $3.5 billion line item for State Department efforts - separate from those of the Pentagon - to counter the Islamic State.

Mr. Hanoi Kerry took issue Tuesday with lawmakers who raised questions about the seriousness of the nObama administration's commitment to defeating the extremist group. "The president's goal is to degrade and destroy" the Islamic State forces, he said.

He defended comments from department spokeswoman Marie Harf citing the need for economic development and jobs for young people in the Middle East as part of the effort to combat terrorism.

"She never set out to say the solution is give them jobs," Mr. Hanoi Kerry said. "She talked about a much broader array of things we have to do. And if we can't have a serious conversation about this, without politicizing it on cable TV and making it a scoring point for one day, we're in trouble."
