{ foxnews.com } ~ Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced on Friday that the coronavirus has been declared a public health emergency in the U.S. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Feb. 2... U.S. citizens returning from Hubei province will be subject to a 14-day quarantine, while other Americans who traveled elsewhere in China will be instructed to self-monitor for possible symptoms. Azar also said that President Trump is temporarily suspending entry into the U.S. for foreign nationals who pose a risk of transmitting the virus. In the same press conference, the Department of Homeland Security announced that starting on Sunday, flights coming to the U.S. from China will be funneled through seven airports that are equipped to screen passengers for symptoms of the virus. Officials continued to stress that the overall risk to the American public remains low, but that the measures being taken are to help "focus efforts as we are dealing with unknowns." The announcement comes just hours after the CDC announced that the 195 passengers who arrived in California on a flight from China on Wednesday were being kept under a 14-day quarantine as they are continually monitored for symptoms. As of Friday, there had been more than 9,600 confirmed cases of the coronavirus with over 200 deaths. Officials confirmed that the number of confirmed cases in the U.S. remains at six, with the latest being an Illinois man whose wife was diagnosed with the virus after traveling to Wuhan, which is considered the epicenter of the outbreak.

liar-Pelosi Defies Senate's Authority, Says
Even if Senate Votes To Acquit, Trump
Won't Actually Be Acquitted

{ westernjournal.com } ~ The Democratic Party is so deep in its Trump Derangement Syndrome that the things its leaders say and do often defy reason... House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi stood in front of microphones on Thursday and declared that if President Donald Trump is acquitted by the Senate a likely scenario, he will not actually be acquitted. liar-Pelosi was responding to a reporter who had asked what she would do in the case of the president’s acquittal. The speaker stealthily avoided the question. “We are right now prayerful and hopeful that the Senate will have the courage to hear the truth about the President’s action, and then we’ll see what we do next,” she said, according to a transcript on her website. But when another reporter asked a similar question, liar-Pelosi had one of her famous temper tantrums.  “When this is over, do you think that President Trump will be chastened and understand that he’s got a Congress watching him? Or will he be emboldened because the Senate will have acquitted him?” the reporter asked. “Well, he will not be acquitted. You cannot be acquitted if you don’t have a trial, and you don’t have a trial if you don’t have witnesses and documentation and that,” liar-Pelosi replied. “I would hope that the Senators, if it comes to a tie, or if there’s a question of hearing testimony or receiving documents, would leave it up to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court – Republican‑appointed, in a Republican majority court. “I would think that they would have confidence in the Chief Justice of the United States. That’s really his title. And that’s interesting to me — that they’re afraid of breaking a tie with a Chief Justice of the United States. “Does the President know right from wrong? I don’t think so. That’s all I can say to you,” she said. The Constitution explicitly states that the Senate, not the Speaker of the House, has the sole authority to handle an impeachment trial of the president. liar-Pelosi’s work is done, but she is struggling to let go of the power she had when the House was conducting its impeachment inquiry...liar-Pelosi and scumbag-Schumer need to be replace.

by wnd.com ~ When House impeachment managers were asked Thursday night to give a closing argument, lead manager Rep. scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff rose from his seat, but Rep. scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler beat him to the well of the Senate... as the California Democrat called out "scumbag liar-Jerry, Jerry, Jerry."  Senate staffers seated above the well covered their faces in an attempt to hide their bemusement while the Trump team also appeared to enjoy the spectacle. The question from Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., a Democratic presidential candidate, and several colleagues was: "Could you please respond to the question just given by the president's counsel, and provide any other comments the Senate would benefit from hearing, before we adjourn for the evening?" VIDEO:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1TgpicJfpc&feature=emb_title )  scumbag liar-Nadler, who opened the trial this week by berating the senators, apparently had been demoted Thursday by scumbag/liar-Schiff. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., was seated next to the lead manager and had been given more speaking time than scumbag liar-Nadler.   https://www.wnd.com/2020/01/jerry-jerry-jerry-nadler-steals-last-word-frustrated-schiff/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=wnd-breaking&utm_campaign=breaking&utm_content=breaking

by patriotpulse.net ~ The Supreme Court has a role to play in the impeachment hoax. One Justice overstepped their authority. And you won’t believe which Supreme Court Justice is about to get fired... For the second day in a row Kentucky Senator Rand Paul submitted a question to both the President’s lawyers and the House Impeachment Managers asking if they knew about scumbag/liar-nObama holdovers on the National Security Council Eric Ciaramella and Shawn Misko discussing impeaching President Trump back in 2017. Misko now works for scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff on the House Intelligence Committee and many in Washington, D.C. believe that Ciaramella is the alleged whistleblower. Senator Paul’s questions read: To the Manager scumbag/liar-Schiff and counsel for the President: Manager scumbag/liar-Schiff and Counsel for the President, are you aware that House Intelligence Committee staffer Shawn Misko had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella when at the National Security Council together, and are you aware and how do you respond to reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the President before there were formal House impeachment proceedings?” For the second day in a row Chief Justice John Roberts refused to read Paul’s question. Reading Ciaramella’s name out loud did not violate any laws. And if it is true that scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff does not know who the whistleblower is, there is no harm in Roberts reading Paul’s question. Instead Roberts refused to read Paul’s question. That led to cries from conservatives that it should Roberts who is in fact impeached and removed from his position. Roberts’ job is be a neutral judge presiding over the impeachment trial.  https://patriotpulse.net/you-wont-believe-which-supreme-court-justice-is-about-to-get-fired/#gf_1393
“Both Sides are Wrong” in Whistleblower Fight

{ thepoliticalinsider.com } ~ Speaking to Fox News, former Representative Trey Gowdy said that “both sides are wrong” in the fight as to whether or not to call the whistleblower to testify... Senator Rand Paul recently named the alleged whistleblower in a series of tweets, as his question was rejected by Chief Justice John Roberts. Martha McCallum asked Gowdy whether it was acceptable for Senator Paul to name the alleged whistleblower. “I like Rand but I think both sides are wrong on this,” Gowdy said. “We make 4-year-olds testify in court. We make women who have been sexually assaulted testify in court. So the notion that, if you are a relevant witness, that somehow you could escape being cross-examined, we don’t do it for anyone else, why would we do it for this whistle-blower?” However, Gowdy continued, and noted that on the other hand, there is no need for the whistleblower to testify “I don’t need him,” Gowdy said. “I’ve got the transcript. Why do I care what someone who overheard the conversation felt about it or thought about it or believed about it? I can read it for myself. Yes, the whistleblower is relevant, but he’s not material. There are 20 witnesses that I think would be more probative than a whistleblower of a transcript that you and I can read for ourselves.” McCallum then asked Gowdy if he was worried with the precedent that was set with the leak of the phone call between President Trump and Zelensky in the first place. “I am, and the remedy for that is to limit the number of people who are on those calls,” he said. “There are consequences any time someone takes unprecedented acts, and if you’re going to listen to a conversation between the President and a leader of a foreign country, and then you’re going to violate that confidence and tell someone about it, the President should shrink the number of people who are on those calls!” Gowdy went on to suggest that the calls should be limited to only a select few.”...

‘Israel’s Reaction to Trump Deal Mirrors Book

{ breakingisraelnews.com } ~ Rabbi Yehudah Glick, founder of the Shalom Jerusalem Foundation, reacted to U.S President Donald Trump’s ‘Deal of the Century’... comparing the mixed reactions of the nation of Israel to that of the Jewish people during the days of the Prophet Ezra. The Jerusalem-based rabbi focused on one passage in the book which took place immediately following the laying of the foundation of the Second Temple. Glick began his video address by expressing his gratitude to the U.S President who: “recognizes the right of the Jewish people to implement the Israeli law on the Jewish settlements and all over Judea and Samaria.” Glick didn’t forget to thank God as well adding that Wednesday was: “another one of those days that you see the hands of the Lord guiding history and pulling the strings”. Glick then lauded Trump’s speech which recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s united capital adding that it “definitely demand us to bless him.” The Rabbi then addressed concerns regarding the Deal of the Century saying “I know that some of you and some of us and me myself are disturbed by different parts that are not yet complete.” He reminded his audience how those same mixed reactions happened right as the Jewish people bore witness to the laying of the foundation of the Second Temple by reading from the Book of Ezra which states: Many of the Kohanim and Leviim and the chiefs of the clans, the old men who had seen the first house, wept loudly at the sight of the founding of this house. Many others shouted joyously at the top of their voices. The people could not distinguish the shouts of joy from the people’s weeping, for the people raised a great shout, the sound of which could be heard from afar. (Ezra 3:12-13) Glick went on to explain that just as some ‘wept loudly’ while at the same time others yelled ‘shouts of joy’, the nation couldn’t “tell the difference between the voices of the shouting of happiness and the voices of the nation crying.” The rabbi, who survived a 2014 assassination attempt, reiterated that “we are in the process – yes we are in the process of redemption and in the process of redemption as we study in Psalms 126 which states: our mouths shall be filled with laughter, our tongues, with songs of joy. Then shall they say among the nations, “Hashem has done great things for them!” (Psalm 126:2) “There are tears and there’s joy but every single step in the process demands us to thank God for that step” Glick added. Glick summarized his message by reading from the Book of Hagai “who followed with prophecy these days of the building of the temple in time of Cyrus.” And Chagai, Hashem‘s messenger, fulfilling Hashem‘s mission, spoke to the people, “I am with you—declares Hashem.” (Haggai 1:13) The rabbi concluded he address by reminding his audience that we are in the process of redemption saying: “We are sure that the redemption process that we are witnessing today will continue.” He then again, expressed gratitude towards Trump and Netanyahu saying: “and yes we are praising God for the cooperation between the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and the president the United States President Donald Trump.”

'Deal of the Century' With Israel and the Palestinians?
ICfFljpK96SrlAHFSA-JEDM16MLPih0uKs6vqdp6lJOr0-1LlaI9NS5iqpS9wJ6UwC7ZD_Tn_t9f0yX_ZHA2rhi2pUw950yDLni_x9slzrwaZaKRqo15xNI99GY0Rg9ROaZSRLVBrqhWm0q6MZ8Vt3Lu2OPdx77cWzOo4OQ=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=?profile=RESIZE_710x
Nate Jackson:  President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu joined together at the White House on Tuesday to unveil a new plan for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, including a state for the latter. The first thing to note is the dismal history of such attempts. As Gary Bauer notes, “Almost every American president and Israeli prime minister has tried and failed to negotiate a lasting peace between Israelis and the Palestinians. The problem is not Israel or the United States. The real obstacle to peace is the refusal of the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Hezbollah and others to recognize the right of Israel to exist at all.” Will this be any different? We’ll see.

The Trump-Netanyahu plan has a few key elements. As Bauer outlines:

  • Jerusalem remains the undivided capital of Israel. (Remember, Trump finally kept a long-standing U.S. promise to move the American embassy there.)

  • The Palestinians must recognize Israel as the Jewish state.

  • Hamas must be disarmed, and the Palestinians must reject terrorism.

  • The so-called “refugee problem” will be settled outside the boundaries of Israel.

  • Israel will suspend construction in disputed territories for four years to give both sides time to implement various aspects of the deal.

  • The president pledged $50 billion of investment to provide hope and economic opportunity to the Palestinian people.

The offer is certainly pro-Israel, but it’s also remarkably generous to the Palestinians, who for more than half a century have terrorized Israeli and rejected every previous offer of peace. The onus is on the Palestinians, not on Israel or the U.S. As David Harsanyi rightly observes, “Israel, in fact, probably feels less external pressure than ever to enter into a deal.” That’s because it is, at the moment, quite secure.

To Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, Trump said, “If you choose the path of peace, America will be there to help you every step of the way.” Yet Abbas is reported to have already rejected the offer, and vehemently so. That’s not surprising, given that Palestinian principals like Abbas have never wanted peace — they want an endless war to delegitimize Israel in the eyes of United Nations elites. It is the Palestinian people who bear the brunt of that evil strategy.

Maybe part of the deal should be Trump shipping the Palestinians a load of those “Hate Has No Home Here” yard signs that are all the rage among chardonnay-sipping leftist elites who hate Trump.   ~The Patriot Post
