John Kelly in obstruction probe: Report

{washingtontimes.com} ~ Special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller has interviewed White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly as part of his ongoing investigation into allegations of collusion... between the Trump administration and Russia, according to a report Friday. CNN reported Mr. Kelly had responded to questions from the dirty cop-Mueller team regarding possible obstruction of justice allegations lodged against President Trump. Specifically, Mr. dirty cop-Mueller asked about relations between former White House counsel Don McGahn and Mr. Trump, who reportedly was angered by a New York Times story claiming the president tried to fire the special counsel and Mr. McGahn’s refusal to come out against the story. dirty cop-Mueller prosecutors wanted to corroborate Mr. McGahn’s version of events, CNN reported. White House attorneys had rebuffed efforts by Mr. dirty cop-Mueller’s prosecutors to interview Mr. Kelly earlier this summer, CNN reported. The request to interview Mr. Kelly was made shortly after the raids on former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s home and office, according to the report. Mr. Kelly is believed to be the highest-ranking administration official to talk with the special counsel. But his interview also represents a departure from Mr. dirty cop-Mueller, who had largely been talking to individuals with ties to the Trump presidential campaign. Mr. Kelly did not join the White House until July 2017. News of the dirty cop-Mueller interview comes amid reports that Mr. Kelly is on his way out of the Trump White House. Trump cuts price tag of border wall to $15 billion

{washingtontimes.com} ~ President Trump seemed to undercut the price of his own border wall Friday, saying it could be built for as little as $15 billion... far less than the $25 billion figure his administration has submitted to Congress. Mr. Trump also claimed the wall will save the country money by stopping the flow of heroin coming into the country over the southern border. “We’re talking about a wall for $20 billion, $15 billion. I could even do it cheaper if I have to,” he said at a conference in Kansas City. Just a day earlier, GOP senators introduced legislation they said would allocate $25 billion for the president’s wall request. They said they would find the money by increasing fines on illegal immigrants, and by cutting off some benefits illegal immigrant families are still able to claim. Though the wall was a major part of the president’s 2016 campaign, he’s not been clear about exactly what he wants to see. The length of the wall he envisions has varied, though it now appears to be about 700 miles of total construction, with some of that new barriers and other parts replacement of outdated fencing..

{foxnews.com} ~ Former FBI Director scumbag-James Comey said he will return for more questioning on Capitol Hill later this month... as President Trump ripped into him for apparently declining to answer certain questions on the advice of his attorneys during Friday’s closed-door session. scumbag-Comey, who spent Friday testifying before House lawmakers, told reporters his return visit will likely come the “week after next.” In a tweet Friday night, scumbag-Comey accused Republicans of desperation. "Today wasn’t a search for truth, but a desperate attempt to find anything that can be used to attack the institutions of justice investigating this president," Cohen said. "They came up empty today but will try again. In the long run, it'll make no difference because facts are stubborn things." Fox News is told the second session with scumbag-Comey could come Dec. 17. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina said Democrats are trying to erode the Second Amendment... by limiting lawmakers’ ability to carry a firearm for protection on Capitol Hill. “We have to look at the words of Hawaiian Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono this week that Democrats know and are smarter than their voters,” Duncan said on “Fox & Friends” Friday. “They are trying to create a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. Since 1967 members of Congress have been able to carry firearms onto this Capitol Hill campus,” he continued. “There hasn’t been a problem in 50 years as you pointed out. And so the curtain has been pulled back on the progressive agenda,” he said. “You look at who is pushing this — California Democratic Rep. Jared Huffman. But then you have the words of Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell from California who debated Tucker Carlson on your show about his desire to have the government confiscate guns and do a government buy back program. Immigration Is a Job for the Feds, Not America's Employersby Thomas Gallatin: The New York Times splashed a story on Thursday obviously designed as yet another attack on President Donald Trump. The Times claims that Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, employs illegal aliens. The paper notes, “There is no evidence that Mr. Trump or Trump Organization executives knew of [the employees’] immigration status. But at least two supervisors at the club were aware of it, the women said, and took steps to help workers evade detection and keep their jobs.” On Friday, a spokesman for the Trump Organization refuted the story, stating, “We have tens of thousands of employees across our properties and have very strict hiring practices. If any employee submitted false documentation in an attempt to circumvent the law, they will be terminated immediately.”
Clearly, the Times is attempting to paint Trump as a massive hypocrite for allegedly employing illegals when one of his biggest policy agendas is stemming the tide of illegal immigration. Questions regarding the extent of his actual knowledge of the immigration status of thousands of workers employed by his business empire are sure to be brought up, but this affords an opportunity to explore an important point regarding the responsibility of the government versus employers.
Whose job is it to deal with illegal immigration? Answer: the federal government. The Washington Times reports that “just five of the 565 companies in President Trump’s business empire are signed up to use E-Verify” before questionably asserting it’s “the government’s best tool to weed illegal immigrants out of the workforce.” E-Verify may be the most useful tool for U.S. businesses to check on the immigration status of prospective employees — and we’d be glad if more used it — but the government’s best tool for weeding illegal aliens out of the workforce is deportation. Keeping illegal aliens out of the country is not the job of American businesses.
Blame for illegal aliens living and working in the country should not be leveled primarily at businesses but at politicians, particularly Democrats, who have long impeded the ability of U.S. border officials to more effectively do their jobs.
This week provides yet another example, as for the second time Trump offered a deal to Democrats on legal status for “Dreamers” in exchange for funding the border wall, only to once again be rejected by Rep. Nancy Pulosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer (D-NY).
Democrats and their Leftmedia cohorts don’t want to stop illegal border crossings, so why complain about American businesses employing illegal aliens? Where is the complaining from Democrats and the Left over the massive burden illegal immigration foists onto America’s welfare programs? It’s absent because Democrats believe illegals should be entitled to benefits and then vote for their benefactors. Trump may operate his business on the existing playing field, but he’s advocating and implementing policies that will correct some wrongs.
