The Democrats: A Corrupt, Insane Posse Masquerading as a Political Party
By Clarice Feldman
{ americanthinker.com } ~ Eleven years ago, the writer Michael Walsh wrote under his penname David Kahane “Think of the Democratic Party as it really is: a criminal organization masquerading as a political party.”... After the Democrats’ Russia, Kavanaugh, Mueller, and Ukraine fiascos, the Iowa caucus debacle, and Friday’s bizarre Democratic debate, I think we need to update it: It’s a Criminal, Insane Posse masquerading as a political party. The week began with an outstanding, uplifting, and inspiring State of the Union address by the President before a joint Congress. Among the House delegates were a gaggle of Democratic congresswomen dressed in white who insist they are strong, independent, capable, and worthy to lead. They stood, clapped, or sat in unison at signals from Speaker liar-Pelosi who sat behind the President, mouthing words to some imaginary friend and moving her mouth reminiscent of someone on psychotropic drugs. Message: I am woman -- hear me meow chasing the laser red dot. At the conclusion of the speech she stood and ripped up her copy of the SOTU address in small packets either because she lacked strength to rip it all in one batch or for dramatic effect. To say the Democrats’ behavior was disconsonant with any message of sober adult solons is to understate it. The following day, the Senate voted down the House’s absurd impeachment effort, after which the President gave a heartfelt address to all those in the House and Senate who had helped him in exposing the fact-free, corrupt House effort to overturn the 2016 election by ousting him from office. He was gracious and thankful to all those who stood by him, something Republicans are not known to do as soon as Democrats hurl charges, no matter how patently flimsy and partisan those charges are. For once, Republicans didn’t flee the forum for fear of spotting their white togas when the jackals appeared. I suppose when much of the media described the address the address as “dark,” they meant the pushover Republican days were over for them and their party of choice.

Appeals court rejects Democrats'

{ politico.com } ~ A federal appeals court has rejected a lawsuit from Congressional Democrats who accused President Donald Trump of violating the Constitution by receiving profits from foreign governments' spending... at his luxury Washington hotel and other businesses. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals decision did not address the legality of Trump's business dealings, but held that the more than 200 Democratic senators and House members who banded together in 2017 to bring the suit against the president lacked legal standing to do so.The unanimous ruling from an ideologically diverse three-judge panel suggested that if the House or Senate had formally authorized the suit, it may have been allowed to proceed, but the lawmakers acting as plaintiffs in the case did not have standing to pursue it on their own. "Only an institution can assert an institutional injury," the court wrote in its brief, 12-page decision. Trump quickly lauded the decision."We just won the big emoluments case," the president told reporters on the south lawn of the White House as he departed for a trip to North Carolina. "It was a total win... It was another phony case and we won it, three to nothing." "Another win just in. Nervous liar-Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress sued me, thrown out. This one unanimous, in the D.C. Circuit," he added later in a post to his Twitter account. The lawmakers could seek review by the full bench of the D.C. Circuit or the Supreme Court, but it seems more likely that the battle over Trump's private businesses' receipts from foreign sources will continue through other cases currently pending at two other federal appeals courts. Congressional Democrats who led the suit lamented the new ruling but stressed that it was not a stamp of approval for Trump's actions. "This dismaying decision adds to the already widespread fear that the checks on unbridled presidential power, corruption and self-enrichment have been seriously undermined,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.). “But today’s decision was not a decision on the merits of our allegations."...  https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/07/appeals-court-rejects-democrats-emoluments-suit-against-trump-111942

{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Rudy Giuliani has spent over a year gathering evidence of wide-scale corruption, money laundering and fraudulently created political operations deployed against Donald Trump... Unfortunately, because of the successful defense strategies of an alliance of interests: scumbag/liar-Obama White House officials, democrats, republicans, media and current DOJ officials to include AG Bill Barr, Mr. Giuliani has been alinsky’d – isolated, ridiculed, marginalized and controversialized. A once great corruption investigator, prosecutor, New York City mayor and presidential candidate, is now reduced to hosting a podcast. As a direct result of the DC protective agenda, ie. marginalize the messenger, nothing Giuliani has uncovered will be used, discussed or acted upon by any officials in/around the institutions of government; including the DOJ.  However, Giuliani discusses the evidence with Fox News host Jesse Watters.

{ westernjournal.com } ~ The least-surprising verdict in recent history came down this past week when President Donald Trump was acquitted by the Senate... after an impeachment trial that was never needed nor in any doubt. The constitutionally mandated 67 votes to remove the president were never going to be there and the only real question was whether there would be any Republican defections. rino-Mitt Romney of Utah, wringing his hands a bit for historical effect, managed to get a little more press coverage out of the whole shebang by voting “yes” on one of the two counts. The trial may have ended Wednesday, but for some people, the hope lives on and the dream shall never die. Two of these groups are the House Democrat impeachment managers and CNN hosts — and in an interview that aired Friday, the two had a meeting of the minds such as they may be in which the impeachment managers declared  Trump really hadn’t been acquitted, even though he had been just two days earlier. The seven members of the team sat down with Anderson Cooper on Friday and two arguments for the non-acquittalness of the acquittal: First, the trial hadn’t been fair, the managers argued, presumably because they weren’t allowed to run the trial like the Marx Brothers routine the House impeachment inquiry had been. Second, the president hadn’t been “exonerated” by the trial — a linguistic conflation of “exoneration” and “acquittal” that’s more than a little misleading. CNN head Jeff Zucker said in October that Fox News was “akin to state-run TV” because of its slant, so imagine what he must think of this sentence in CNN’s meta-news writeup of the sit-down in which the writer described the president’s post-acquittal address: “The next day, Trump took a victory lap in a vindictive White House speech in which he gave no indication that he considered his actions wrong or regrettable.” Because Trump “gave no indication that he considered his actions wrong or regrettable,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York gave us the usual spiel about the president being emboldened because Republicans didn’t vote their way.“And absent any consequences, to the extent that he perceives the acquittal as an exoneration, it’s a fake exoneration,” Jeffries said. “But to the extent that the president perceives it as vindication of his bad behavior, his constitutional crime, his wrongdoing, then there is reason to believe that he will endeavor to do it again.” The words “exoneration” and “acquittal” were put in close quarters not infrequently during the interview “I think he’s not been exonerated,” California Rep. Zoe Lofgren said right off the bat. When asked what she meant by that, Colorado Rep. Jason Crow helpfully mansplained for her: “It’s hard to have an acquittal without a fair trial.”“And this was the first impeachment trial in American history where we didn’t have witnesses and documents,” Crow said...

Rocket sirens sound in Sderot, Bennett

{ jpost.com } ~ Incoming rocket sirens were activated in southern Israel on Sunday night, hours after Defense Minister Naftali Bennett warned Hamas that “no one will be immune” from IDF action... following the continued launching of explosive balloons and rockets from the Gaza Strip. The IDF said one rocket was identified as being launched from the coastal enclave. There were no reports of injury or damage after the projectile struck an open field.  Earlier on Sunday evening, Hamas responded to the threats made by Netanyahu and Bennett earlier, warning Israel that it would bear the consequences of any “foolish action” in the Gaza Strip. The terrorist group stressed in a statement that the threats would only push the Palestinians to “continue their struggle” and to engage with Israel in “all forms of struggle and resistance” to defend their rights and protect their interests. “The lawless conduct of Hamas leadership is bringing us closer to fatal action against them. We will not announce when or where, but no one will be immune,” Bennett said following a situation assessment in the Gaza Division. Bennett held the assessment along with the Southern Command chief Maj.-Gen. Hertzi Halevi, Deputy Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Eyal Zamir, Gaza Division Commander, Brig.-Gen. Eliezer Toledano and representatives from Israel’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), the Shin Bet Israel Security Agency and the National Security Council. “The State of Israel does not want a war with Hamas in Gaza, but we have a commitment to the security of southern residents,” he said. “Hamas faces the choice: to choose life and economic prosperity or to choose terror and pay an unbearable price.”...  https://www.jpost.com//Israel-News/Naftali-Bennett-holds-a-situation-assessment-with-the-Gaza-Division-617005

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ France had just come out of the fifth anniversary of the massacre at its satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo than it was plunged into a similar case... On January 18, Mila O., a 16-year-old French girl, made insulting comments about Islam during an Instagram livestream. "During her livestream, a Muslim boy asked her out in the comments, but she turned him down because she is gay. He responded by accusing her of racism and calling her a 'dirty lesbian'. In an angry follow-up video, streamed immediately after she was insulted, Mila responded by saying that she 'hates religion'". Mila continued, saying among other things: "Are you familiar with freedom of expression? I didn't hesitate to say what I thought. I hate religion. The Koran is a religion of hatred; there is only hatred in it. That's what I think. I say what I think... Islam is sh*t... I'm not a racist at all. One cannot simply be racist against a religion... I say what I want, I say what I think. Your religion is sh*t. I'd stick a finger up your god's a**h*le..." What she said might be considered a bit raw, but does she have the right to say it? After all, Jews are called the descendants of pigs and apes without the speech police having a stroke. Following her statements, Mila was targeted on social networks, where the video was widely shared; she received numerous death threats, and her name, address and the name of her school were made public. Mila was forced to leave school for her own safety...

National Prayer Breakfast

Yesterday, President Trump and Vice President Pence addressed the 68th annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC. Every president since Dwight Eisenhower has spoken at this annual bipartisan event. But this year was different, coming on the heels of the bitter sham impeachment.

As he always does, Mike Pence spoke eloquently about the country’s respect for faith. He said, “I believe that prayer and faith are the thread that runs through every era of American history."

Pence noted that President Trump "has made it a practice of opening every Cabinet meeting in prayer.” And he repeated the president’s remarks from Tuesday’s State of the Union address that America does “not punish prayer, tear down crosses, or muzzle our pastors.”

The president’s speech was also excellent. He recalled America’s deep religious heritage and our founding principle that our liberty comes from God, not government.

President Trump recalled the faith of George Washington and the courageous patriots at Valley Forge, how the families of New York built St. Patrick’s Cathedral long before the city’s first iconic skyscrapers, and how America’s civil-rights movement was sustained by men and women of faith.

Trump added that America is “eternally in the debt of our African American churches… For generations, they bravely fought for justice and lifted up the conscience of our nation. And we are grateful beyond any measure."

The president also noted that his administration has dramatically increased efforts to combat Christian persecution overseas. As a presidential appointee to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, I can attest to the administration’s commitment to this critical issue.

Wednesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the formation of the International Religious Freedom Alliance. More than two dozen nations have already pledged to join the United States in this effort to defend religious freedom worldwide.

The president once again condemned the "poison of anti-Semitism” and reiterated his strong commitment to the sanctity of life, saying, “Every child is a sacred gift from God.”

Two lines in the president’s remarks, however, have attracted most of the media’s attention, and I believe the president felt compelled to say them.

There were a number of people he could have been referring to, but liar-Nancy Pelosi stands out for the almost mocking way she repeatedly said she was “praying for the president” as she tried to destroy him and his family.

Trump said, “I don’t like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong. Nor do I like people who say ‘I pray for you’ when they know that’s not so.”

“Trump Acquitted”

A victorious President Trump spoke to the nation yesterday, celebrating the end of the sham impeachment trial. The president slammed the left for dragging the country through pointless partisan investigations for the past three years.

“It was evil. It was corrupt. It was dirty cops,” Trump said. “It was leakers and liars. This should never, ever happen to another president, ever."

He held up a copy of yesterday's Washington Post with its bold headline, "Trump Acquitted," and jokingly said, "Maybe we’ll frame it. It’s the only good headline I’ve ever had in The Washington Post.”

By the way, Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) is introducing a constitutional amendment to require a super-majority vote in the House to impeach a president, rather than just a simple majority. The point of Scott’s amendment is to ensure true bipartisan support for impeachment, which was liar-Nancy Pelosi’s own standard.

And I’m pleased to report that following the conclusion of the impeachment trial, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell immediately moved to begin confirming more of President Trump’s conservative judges!

Depressed Democrats

Democrats are in the dumps. But you don’t have to take my word for it. A top House Democrat source told Fox News Wednesday, "We all knew how this was going. But everyone’s depressed.“

The long knives are out too, as the recriminations and finger-pointing begin. Referring specifically to the impeachment fiasco, another Democrat source said that the leadership was "steamrolled by the progressive wing of the party."

I’m with the president on this — I can’t feel sorry for liar-Nancy Pelosi and Chuck scumbag-Schumer, not after what they just put the country through. They should have had the courage to stand up to commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s mean tweets, especially after Special Counsel Robert Mueller found nothing. But they caved to the pressure and the country suffered needlessly.

And many Democrats are furious. For example:

  • Don Peebles, a top scumbag/liar-nObama fundraiser, said yesterday, "Look, I just don’t recognize the Democratic Party right now. I mean, the party has turned so far-left." He blasted liar-Pelosi’s speech-ripping stunt as "unprofessional,” “undiplomatic,” and “disrespectful to the country as a whole.” (More on that below.)

  • Famed scumbag/liar-Clinton strategist James Carville said this week that he’s “scared to death” that his party is going down the path of the British Labour Party, which just got trounced for its radicalism and anti-Semitism. Carville worried that commie-Bernie Sanders and The Squad were turning the Democrat Party into an “ideological cult,” pushing extreme issues like open borders and “people voting from jail cells.” He’s not wrong.

  • Progressive activist and commentator Van Jones said that Trump is making a serious play for black support and that he has an effective message that his policies have helped historically black colleges and black workers.

liar-Pelosi’s Planned Stunt

Yesterday, I wrote about Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi tearing up the president’s State of the Union address immediately following his remarks. Of course, her progressive allies and the left-wing media loved it. Politico ran this headline: “liar-Pelosi Gave Democrats’ Real Response To The State Of The Union.”

But it seems she planned this stunt. Video has emerged that appears to show liar-Pelosi pre-ripping a few pages of the president’s speech while the first lady is presenting Rush Limbaugh with the Medal of Freedom.

liar-Pelosi knew exactly what she was doing. As CNN's Brian Stelter put it, her stunt was “aggressively rude, and unapologetically meant to rile up her base. It was divisive, but effective.” Stelter wrote that liar-Pelosi did it to take attention away from Trump’s speech.

Speaking of which, a poll conducted by CBS News found that the president’s address was a home run. Seventy-six percent of those who watched the State of the Union liked what they heard, including 82% of independents and even 30% of self-identified Democrats. Here are other key findings:

  • 56% felt the president’s speech would help unite the country.

  • 74% supported the president’s statements on the Middle East.

  • 72% supported the president’s positions on immigration.

  • 71% agreed with President Trump’s view that there is a crisis on the southern border.

By the way, several House Republicans filed a resolution disapproving of liar-Pelosi’s actions. They wanted to hold liar-Pelosi to the same standard as Joe Wilson, who was formally reprimanded for his State of the Union outburst. But House Democrats voted it down.

The Chaos Continues

More results trickled out from the Iowa Democrat caucuses. With 97% of the votes counted, the results show Pete Buttigieg and commie-Bernie Sanders virtually tied. Sensing momentum, commie-Sanders declared victory. So now we have two self-declared winners.

Speaking in New Hampshire Wednesday, loose lips liar-Joe Biden said he couldn’t “sugar coat” his fourth-place showing, calling it “a gut punch.”

Meanwhile, Tom Perez, chairman of the Democrat National Committee, yesterday ordered a complete recanvassing of the Iowa results. Perez declared:

Enough is enough. In light of the problems that have emerged … and in order to assure public confidence in the results, I am calling on the Iowa Democrat Party to immediately begin a recanvass.
