America Awash in Lies and Disloyalty

{ americanthinker.com } ~ The lyrics of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" by Julia Ward Howe include the words "With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me ..." The enemies of our Republic need to be transfigured. Rep. worthless-Ilhan Omar, tweeting her thoughts about July 4 stated, "Today gives us all a chance to reflect on how far we have come as a country and how much further we have to go to achieve full equality for all people. We are at a tipping point for progress." This rebuke of our socio-political system contrasted with her joyful dancing at the Somalia Independence Day celebration on July 1. Her tweet on that occasion included the words, "Somalia hanoolaato," or "Long live Somalia," even though Somalia has been a hotbed of undemocratic rule and civil strife since its independence from Great Britain in 1960. This is a woman now wagging her finger at America who came here from a refugee camp in Kenya after fleeing Somalia, receiving asylum in the U.S. from her family's radical dislocation. Yet she is unable to unashamedly say, "Long live America." Another enemy of our Republic is sicko-Colin Kaepernick. Now he is repudiating the Betsy Ross flag in the name of some radical version of civil rights. Ignorant sicko-Colin obviously does not know that Betsy Ross was a Quaker and an abolitionist. The Quakers had an extreme view of "liberty in Christ" that readily lent itself to the abolitionist cause. Further, does sicko-Colin even know that Frederick Douglass, one of the greatest black spokesmen for abolition, often quoted the Declaration of Independence as an important document in the abolitionist cause? Has any of these mental giants who are taking knees ever read Carl Becker's classic book on the Declaration of Independence, which clearly reports that the original phrase "life, liberty, and property" taken from the writings of John Locke was changed by Thomas Jefferson to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" because he believed that inclusion of the word "property" would seem to justify slavery — i.e., the treatment of human beings as property? Have these naysayers experienced an ounce of gratitude toward the country of their birth? Are they aware that the Northwest Ordinance passed in the 1780s banned slavery from territory newly won from the British? Do they understand that more than 300,000 white men perished in the Civil War to free the slaves, and that the Republicans spent enormous national wealth to maintain troops in the South until 1877? Do they have a shred of understanding about the importance of our intervention and success in World War II, and the concomitant independence of third-world countries that was deeply connected with that victory? Or of our important role in bringing about the collapse of the USSR? Ignorance is on the march. Attempts at reasoning with the unreasonable are useless. A "transfiguring in the bosom" is needed, as Julia Howe wrote so beautifully in the 19th century. These hyper-critical left-wing critics of the USA are not merely offering constructive criticism, but offering destructive criticism. They are not only addressing wrongs to be righted, but perceiving the fundamental creation of the USA and its unfolding history as fundamentally wrong — reflecting racism, sexism, and capitalistic selfishness. To the Left, these themes are foundational and, to the extent they may still exist, are not merely distortions, but the basis for justifying a radical disloyalty and rejection of our culture... .

The fireworks started after liar-Pulosi slammed Congresswoman commie-Ocasio-Cortez for not voting with Democrats to pass a $4.5 billion spending bill that provides humanitarian aid to illegal aliens. liar-Pulosi blasted the far-left quartet in the Democratic Party commie-Ocasio-Cortez, worthless-Ilhan Omar, worthless-Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley after they voted against the bill that provides no funding for a border wall, but incentivizes more illegal immigration by using taxpayer money to house, feed, educate, and provide legal services to illegal aliens who sneak across the U.S. border. liar-Pulosi told the New York Times that their “no” votes were irrelevant because the Democratic Party advanced their agenda, which was $4.5 billion to aid illegal immigrants. liar-Pulosi suggested that the four rogue noobs may be popular on Twitter, but that doesn’t mean anything in the real world which to liar-Pulosi is within the walls of Congress. liar-Pulosi sniffed: “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world, but they didn’t have any following within the Democratic Party. They’re four people — and that’s how many votes they got.” liar-Pulosi continued: “If the left doesn’t think I’m left enough, so be it…We have to have a solution, not just a Twitter fight. While there are people who have a large number of Twitter followers, what’s important is that we have large numbers of votes on the floor of the House.”...

{ freebeacon.com } ~ China's Defense Ministry this week confirmed the test firing of a new submarine-launched ballistic missile the Pentagon regards as a strategic weapon... capable of striking anywhere in the United States from underwater launch points. Asked about the test of the new JL-3 submarine-launched ballistic missile, Sr. Col., Ren Guoqiang, a Defense Ministry spokesman, acknowledged the test firing. "It is normal for China to conduct scientific research and tests according to plan," Ren said during the monthly press briefing. "These tests are not targeted against any country or specific entity," he said. "China follows a defense policy which is defensive in nature and an active defense military strategy, and our development of weapons and equipment is to meet the basic demand of protecting China's national security." American defense officials disputed the Chinese claim that the test was not targeted at any country and said the missile firing on June 2 coincided with the visit to Asia by then-acting defense secretary Patrick Shanahan.The test was reported by the Washington Free Beacon on June 13. Shanahan spoke at a defense conference in Singapore where he indirectly identified China as "the greatest long-term threat" to the vital interests of states in the region for undermining the rules-based international order....

The leader of the White opposition, the distinguished admiral Alexander Kolchak, was defeated on the battlefield, betrayed by the Allies and captured by the Bolsheviks... During the interrogation, the Bolsheviks, astounded by their own victory, were trying to understand how they could defeat the well-supplied regular army, led by experienced military commanders. “Admiral, why didn’t you promise land to peasants? You could have won this war,” the interrogators asked Russia was an agrarian country and the ownership of land was one of the most compelling issues of the revolution. “I would not promise what I could not deliver” was the admiral’s response. The interrogators just smiled. They did promise the land and won. Bolsheviks who had a propensity for fancy names called it “monopoly on the revolutionary truth.” In other words, the truth in the “decaying” world of capitalism does not mean what it does in the world of “triumphant” socialism. In practical terms, when Bolsheviks promised democracy, freedom, liberty, and inexorable “land to the peasants,” “bread to the hungry,” “peace to the people,” those zealous Bolshevik slogans sounded great but the Russian people found soon enough that “land to the peasants” meant forced collectivization; “bread to the hungry” – man-made famine; and “peace to the people” -- civil war. A hundred years later the Russian socialist school of power politics Bolsheviks were socialists and belonged to the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party remains central to socialists’ vie for power. While successfully separating themselves from a grisly gang of Bolshevik terrorists, the progeny have preserved their doctrinal commitment, and methods of operation including the most effective of them – demagoguery and lies. In this context, the Orwellian observation that “The worst advertisement for socialism is its adherents” is the true embodiment of socialism. A Democratic Socialist Hugo Chavez called socialism "a sea of happiness." As in the case with Bolsheviks’ “land to the peasants” etc., "a sea of happiness" resulted in a sea of human suffering and despair. Nevertheless, Chavez’s numerous Hollywood supporters remain unrepentant. Just as their precursors in the totalitarian movements -- the philosophers of the French Revolution and the intelligentsia of the Russian Revolution -- the U.S. cultural and intellectual elite has equated the evolution of history with egalitarianism and is holding aloft a banner of socialism....
Jeffrey Epstein arrested for sex trafficking
of minors in Florida and New York

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein has been arrested for allegedly sex trafficking minors in Florida and New York from 2002 to 2005... The 66-year-old registered sex offender faces an indictment in which he will be charged on one count of sex trafficking minors and another for conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors. He is due to appear in court in New York on Monday and could face up to 45 years in prison. He was taken into custody by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force on Saturday after landing in New York following an overseas flight. Epstein's arrest comes after a New York federal appeals court ordered last week the release of 2,000 pages of judicial documents related to Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, who are suspected of taking part in an international sex trafficking operation. His attorney, Martin Weinberg, has so far declined to comment. The United States attorney’s office in Manhattan, which brought the charges, also declined to comment. Epstein is a politically well-connected billionaire who for more than a decade has faced allegations of luring underage girls by hiring them to provide massages and then sexually abusing them dating back to 1999. His alleged victims, some as young as 14, have accused the hedge-funder of using his private jet to transport girls across to such places as his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, a residence in New York City, and his private 72-acre Virgin Islands home, sometimes referred to as "Orgy Island." A little more than a decade ago, Epstein reached an agreement with federal prosecutors, including now-Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta, in which he pleaded guilty to the charges, served 13 months in prison, became a registered sex offender, and paid restitution to the victims identified in the investigation. Dems Invite Illegals Into 'Racist' Country
Nate Jackson: Democrat presidential candidates have plans to decriminalize crossing the border and “virtually eliminate immigration detention.” And, oh, by the way, illegals can access “free” health care. “That is tantamount to declaring publicly that we have open borders. That is unworkable, unwise, and does not have the support of a majority of American people or the Congress. And if we had such a policy, instead of 100,000 apprehensions a month, it will be multiples of that.”
Those remarks weren’t commentary from the Democrats’ favorite immigration bogeyman, President Donald Trump. Those were the words of former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, who worked for Barack scumbag/liar-nObama.
Johnson also slammed Democrats for politicizing “kids in cages.” He noted, “Chain-link barriers, partitions, fences, cages — whatever you want to call them — were not invented on January 2017.” The struggle for the Border Patrol, Johnson says, is timing and numbers. “During that 72-hour period” before illegals are transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services, “when you have something that is a multiple — like four times of what you’re accustomed to in the existing infrastructure — you’ve got to find places quickly to put kids.” In other words, scumbag/liar-nObama’s DHS “put kids in cages,” too, because it’s the most humane way to deal with enforcing the law in the face of an invasion.
By the way, these children have become a smuggler’s dream, and a free pass across the border for others.
And yet we have Democrats like presidential hopeful scumbag-Cory Booker proposing the elimination of detention while insisting, “Remember, this is a crisis that Donald Trump has created through executive action.”
Wrong. Democrats have invited this invasion for cynical political reasons. And then they utterly denied a border crisis until they decided it was more advantageous to blame Trump.
Leftist judges are arguably doing even more harm. National Review reports, “U.S. District judge Marsha Pechman ruled Tuesday that the administration must allow asylum-seekers the opportunity to post bond and be released from detention while waiting for their claims to be adjudicated.”
The president’s new press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, got it exactly right: “The district court’s injunction is at war with the Rule of Law. The decision only incentivizes smugglers and traffickers, which will lead to the further overwhelming of our immigration system by illegal aliens. No single district judge has legitimate authority to impose his or her open-borders views on the country.”
Yet Pechman’s judicial activism is by no means an isolated incident. Since Trump took office, federal judges have issued an eye-popping 37 nationwide injunctions to block his policies. That’s 10 more than were issued in the entire 20th century.
So while Democrat politicians and judges create this crisis, it’s worth pondering a fundamental question: Why do so many people of color from so many countries governed by persons of color risk everything to come to America — a country that has been declared evil, racist, and run by “old white men”? ~The Patriot Post
