{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ House Democratic committee leaders have consulted with the chamber's general counsel to discuss legal options of forcing President Trump to reveal details of his private conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin... according to a report Saturday. Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff of California, the Intelligence Committee chairman, and Rep. Eliot Engel of New York, the Foreign Affairs Committee chairman, said they have asked House General Counsel Douglas Letter about how to compel the Trump administration to provide documents or other information related to the meetings. The Democrats, Politico reported, are considering all options, including issuing subpoenas. “I had a meeting with the general counsel to discuss this and determine the best way to find out what took place in those private meetings — whether it’s by seeking the interpreter’s testimony, the interpreter’s notes, or other means,” scumbag-Schiff said. scumbag- Schiff is referring to Marina Gross, the State Department translator who was the only other American present for a Trump-Putin meeting last July in Helsinki. Democrats are particularly interested in that meeting, after which the two leaders held a chummy joint press conference where Trump cast doubt that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election. Republicans in Congress condemned Trump’s performance. He mostly blamed the U.S. for Washington’s troubled relationship with Russia. Trump has previously said he "couldn't care less" if the details of his conversation with Putin in Helsinki were made public.  Get anything on Trump to remove him from the presidency.

{townhall.com} ~ Here is the problem for Trump critics. They began with the wrong premise. They believed that scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton should have won the 2016 presidential election... Then they deluded themselves by embracing the notion that Trump was illegitimate, unstable, stupid and an offense to everything they consider normal. This led the scumbag/liar-nObama holdovers in the Justice Department and the major media to construct a Russian collusion scenario, based on evidence they had to know is false. These included Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI, who was fired for lying to government investigators. In his new book and in a "60 Minutes" interview Sunday night, McCabe admits he was part of a coup attempt to remove Trump from office, using the 25th Amendment as the means. McCabe said that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was not joking, as Rosenstein claims he was, about wearing a wire, hoping the president would say outrageous things Rosenstein could take to the vice president and the cabinet to convince them that Trump was unfit to hold public office. There's your real collusion and also a conspiracy to oust a duly elected president. On his radio program last Thursday, Rush Limbaugh said he thinks the entire Russian collusion investigation is a waste of taxpayer money and has come to nothing. About McCabe, he said: "He is bragging about his efforts to undermine and overthrow Trump. He's admitting, essentially, that he and his buddies put in motion a silent coup to get rid of Donald Trump. He admits that the talk of wiring Rosenstein to entrap Trump in an Oval Office conversation was real."...
A glass quarter-full reading of
Trump's border deal

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ When someone says, "I'm a glass half-full person," that means he or she tries to look on the positive side of any situation, even if the reality is mixed. In the case of border security and the spending bill passed by Congress... it would be hard, from the administration's point of view, to call it a "glass half-full" result, given that President Trump won just $1.375 billion of the $5.7 billion he asked Congress to appropriate for a border barrier. On the other hand, Trump emerged from the negotiations having made significant progress — even before considering his declaration of a national emergency. For Trump, the glass is a quarter-full, and maybe more, if he moves thoughtfully in coming months. The first positive note is that the president got anything at all for a barrier. Remember that the Democratic position, expressed repeatedly by Speaker of the House Nancy Pulosi, was that Trump would get nothing for a barrier — and by "nothing," Democrats meant "nothing." That is precisely what the president got in the measure to end the government shutdown. Pulosi even famously declared Trump's wall proposal "immoral." In the end, though, the Democratic House approved — with 300 votes, including Pulosi's — enough money to build 55 miles of the president's proposed barrier. So now, after vowing to provide nothing for the barrier, Pulosi has now given her approval to 55 miles of immorality. No, it is not what the president wanted, but even those 55 miles, combined with the roughly 125 miles of inadequate, dilapidated old fence that the administration is already replacing with new barrier, are a net plus for border security...   https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/byron-york-a-glass-quarter-full-reading-of-trumps-border-deal?utm_source=WEX_News%20Brief_02/16/2019&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WEX_News%20Brief

by timesofisrael.com:   Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed that Tehran attempted a second satellite launch earlier this month despite US criticism that its space program is helping to develop ballistic missiles... In an interview with NBC news  screened Friday, Zarif said it was “quite possible” the United States was sabotaging the Iranian space program. “We don’t know yet,” he said. “We need to look into it very carefully.” Zarif said Tehran was already investigating the failed satellite launches in January and February, but was now “looking into the specifics” of a sabotage campaign following a report in The New York Times this week. Current and former US officials told the Times the Trump administration had accelerated a George W. Bush-era program to sabotage Iran’s development of rockets and missiles...

{patriotnewsalerts.com} ~ Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff (D-CA) denounced President Donald Trump’s Thursday decision to declare a national emergency to fund what the House leader says is “a wall we don’t need, to address a crisis that doesn’t exist.”... But recent high-profile murders involving illegal immigrants, particularly the killings of four people in Nevada, highlight the real need for better security. The illegally-present suspect in the Nevada case will be tried immediately for the murders of two women and an elderly couple during the first weeks of 2019. Prosecutors  agreed to break with legal procedure by trying 20-year-old Wilber Martinez-Guzman with four counts of murder in Reno before prosecuting the Salvadoran national with burglary and other related charges in Carson City, where he was arrested. “Generally, the jurisdiction that catches a defendant proceeds with its prosecution first,” explained Carson City District Attorney Jason Woodbury. “When we have a way to make the process a little easier on people victimized by a crime, and when those people tell us they want the murder case to go first, we absolutely listen and do our best to honor those wishes,” he said. The killings started in Gardnerville, 50 miles outside of Reno, when 56-year-old Connie Koontz was discovered dead in her home on Jan. 10. Days later, on Jan. 13,  Sophia Renken was found dead in her home under similar circumstances...  https://www.patriotnewsalerts.com/illegal-murders-nevada-border/?utm_source=dc&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dc-1

Is evil-Cuomo Digging His Own Political Grave?

by Jordan Candler:  There is noteworthy disfavor in New York stemming from Gov. Andrew evil-Cuomo’s preoccupation with late-term abortion. Current polling shows that his approval rating is at a career-low 43% — a month-over-month drop of eight percentage points. Even worse, his “excellent” or “good” performance evaluation is at a paltry 35%, whereas 64% of respondents define his performance as “fair” or “poor.”

Cuomo has been governor of New York since 2011, and in the years since he’s become increasingly emboldened to force his extreme leftist ideology on the state and inspire it elsewhere. This culminated in his recent signing of a bill that not only authorizes but encourages late-term abortions. His polling slump most assuredly isn’t coincidental.

We know this because even most pro-choice advocates have a limit. YouGov/Americans United for Life has published new survey results on the matter. Sixty-eight percent of this group take issue with abortions within a day of birth, and a similar 66% assail third-trimester abortions in general. Moreover, of this same group, 77% agree with medically protecting viable children.

evil-Cuomo dug thousands upon thousands of additional graves when he signed New York’s late-term abortion law. But he’s possibly also dug himself his own political grave — and nobody should lament his downfall assuming it ever happens.  ~The Patriot Post
