Rush Limbaugh Warns GOP Will Join Dems
in a Coup against President Trump
{patrioticviralnews.com} ~ If the last two years have taught us anything, it’s to dream for a single, impossible wish... If the Democrats would leverage just one tenth as much scrutiny at their own people as they do Donald Trump, our country would probably surpass all expectations even when the Democrats are in charge. Seriously. Had scumbag/liar-nObama been held to any standard of accountability whatsoever, he couldn’t have done half the damage he did to our country. We could say the same about scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton. That was a President who actually bombed another country just to take the spotlight away from his own impending impeachment. That’s a thing that really happened, and he hasn’t faced a war criminal tribunal. In fact, no major news outlet even hinted at the idea that he was in the wrong to kill innocent civilians over political optics. It’s disgusting beyond words. Conversely, Donald Trump was skewered when a flight crew decided not to fly Marine One in the rain. It wasn’t Trump’s decision, but apparently deferring to the expertise of professional pilots is an act of cowardice, hypocrisy and treason. We don’t need the left to hold their own to the same standards they hold Republicans. We just need them to be playing the same game. Instead, it is their boundless hypocrisy that threatens the future of our great nation. How are Republicans any different? We’ll hold to the fire any Republican who jumps on a liberal bandwagon just to get a votes. You don’t understand? This video will clarify. There are Republicans who are not allies of the right, and you’re about to learn that ugly truth. Take a look.
Talking Millennials Out of Socialism
by Bruce Thornton
{frontpagemag.com} ~ Writing last week about the new affection for socialism on the part of Millellenials, electoral maven Karl Rove warned us not to ignore or dismiss this enthusiasm... Socialism’s long record of failure “doesn’t mean new forms of socialism can’t gain a following.” Rove’s solution is for Republicans to “do the hard work of updating old arguments,” and “hone their arguments” against socialist policies in preparation for the 2020 presidential race. Welcome to 2500 years of dubious thinking about the power of rational persuasion and coherent argument to talk people out of bad ideas. It didn’t save Socrates from the hemlock, and it’s unlikely to change the minds of the worst-educated, most self-centered, and most pampered cohort in American history. This stubborn belief in the power of rational thought and knowledge to improve human life lies at the heart of modern political ideologies like Marxism and progressivism. Both assume that the knowledge useful for politically organizing a state or society is “scientific,” comprising principles and techniques that are beyond ideology and universally true. Hence the need for enlightened technocratic elites to control social institutions and use power in order to rationally arrange human existence more justly and efficiently. The flaw in this thinking was first identified by contemporaries of Plato, whose Republic  imagined a utopia of elite Guardians educated to exercise totalitarian control over society. And the earliest critics of Plato’s flawed assumptions about human nature were likewise Greek writers such as Thucydides and Sophocles. Both argued that a human nature universally subject to irrational passions, free will, and a tragic world would always to some degree triumph over the rational mind. Yet despite the subsequent millennia in which history has demonstrated that the road to utopia is lined with mountains of corpses, the dream of creating heaven on earth by applying rational techniques of control and improvement over human beings has not lost its allure...
Canada Strongly Under Siege!
by ipatriot.com
{ipatriot.com} ~ Criminalizing criticism of immigration in Canada? Criminalizing? That’s right! But it doesn’t stop there! It is proposed the Canadian government will establish a thought police or SHARIA police... to enforce this law and even open “re-education” camps for Canadian citizens and journalists who dare to criticize the immigration policy of the Muslim-dominated United Nations. And Canada this past summer at community-sponsored camps trained children, all across the nation, to spy and report on parents who criticize immigration! What? As if it weren’t bad enough the criticism of immigration in Canada is criminalized! But to establish a SHARIA thought police to enforce this? Canadians would be accountable to SHARIA thought police in Toronto, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver! The fact that tens of thousands of Muslims employed in Silicon Valley can embellish SHARIA Thought Police is cause for alarm! Are you planning a vacation to Canada? Forget it! Boy Trudeau is defending this heinous U.N. Global Migration Pact to make it a criminal offense for citizens and media outlets to criticize mass immigration. Could this be why Canada’s new Mega prisons have been built? Privatized prisons for nationalists as cheap labor for globalist-profiteering privatized-prison investors? There is no historical precedent for this extremely-serious direct threat to Canadian freedom of speech, freedom of press and freedom of thought!... Trudeau has lost his mind.  https://ipatriot.com/canada-strongly-under-seige/
Thousands of American Girls At Risk As
Judge Strikes Down Federal FGM Ban
by Abigail R. Esman
{investigativeproject.org} ~ As her aunt held her down, the child screamed and fought desperately to escape. But even as she struggled, the woman sliced at the child's genitals with a razor... sending blood coursing down her legs. Years later, the girl recalled, "They tied my legs together the whole way down so I couldn't open my legs. I was like that for three or four weeks." She was only 6 years old. Two hundred million women worldwide have endured similar torture through female genital mutilation (FGM), or are at risk of becoming victims. Yet last month, a Michigan judge ruled that laws preventing such torture and abuse of girls were unconstitutional, raising the risk of genital cutting for hundreds of thousands of vulnerable girls across America. The decision, passed down in a case involving the prosecution of two doctors who performed the procedure in a suburban Detroit clinic, addressed a 1996 federal ban on FGM, which U.S. District Court Judge Bernard Friedman claimed overstepped congressional power. The Federalism clause permits the federal government authority only over criminal cases involving interstate commerce, which Friedman argued was inapplicable in this case. Nor, he said, is there a "rational relationship" between federal equal rights treaties and a ban on FGM, as it only affects women. Rather, the judge argued, the power to ban FGM, like other criminal law, lies with the states; and while Michigan does have such a statute in place, it was instated after the doctors and the mothers of nine girls had been arrested and charged. Friedman therefore dismissed those charges. Women's rights groups globally have reacted with shock and anger...  https://www.investigativeproject.org/7733/thousands-of-american-gir...
Palestinians: No Difference
Between Hamas and Fatah
by Khaled Abu Toameh
{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ Has Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas changed his position toward his rivals in Hamas?... This is the question that some Palestinians have been asking in the wake of Abbas's opposition to a US-sponsored draft resolution that asks the United Nations General Assembly to condemn Hamas for repeatedly firing rockets at Israel and instigating violence. Abbas's hatred of Hamas is far from secret. For years – and until today – Abbas has used every available platform to launch scathing attacks on Hamas. He accused Hamas of foiling Arab efforts to end the dispute with his ruling Fatah faction. He  accused Hamas of masterminding a series of explosions targeting the homes of some of his senior Fatah officials in the Gaza Strip. He accused Hamas of staging a coup in 2007 against his Palestinian Authority (PA) in the Gaza Strip and seeking to establish a separate Palestinian there. He accused  Hamas of standing behind the botched assassination attempt on his prime minister, Rami Hamdallah, in the Gaza Strip earlier this year. He even made a metaphoric remark that, "shoes will be pouring on the heads of Hamas leaders."...  https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/13391/palestinians-hamas-fatah-d...

Trivializing Elections California Style

by Arnold Ahlert:  Two years ago in California, an act known as AB-1921, amending Section 3017 of the Elections Code, was signed in to law by Democrat Gov. Jerry Brown. It legalized a process known as “ballot harvesting.” Republicans weren’t prepared for the change. Thus, all seven of California’s House districts won by scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton but held by the GOP going into the 2018 election were won by Democrats, including District 21, where Democrat T. J. Cox ultimately defeated Republican incumbent David Valadao in the last uncalled race in the nation.

Prior to the change, voters unable to return their vote by mail ballot could designate a spouse, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild, brother, sister, or person residing in the same household as the vote-by-mail voter to return it. The new law allows any third party — even a paid political campaign operative — to collect and return the ballots.
At the time, Democrats promoted the change as a public service, with the bill’s author, Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez (D-San Diego), insisting the old requirements “simply provide yet another obstacle for individuals attempting to vote.” Republicans disagreed, but in a state dominated by Democrats, the legislation passed on a mostly party line vote.
In the process, “Election Day” became an anachronism. “A stunning five million ballots, or more than 40 percent of the overall total, were counted after Nov. 6,” the VC Star reported  Dec. 2. In the former GOP stronghold of Orange County, “The number of Election Day vote-by-mail dropoffs was unprecedented — over 250,000,” GOP Party Chairman Fred Whitaker stated in a note to supporters.
Such extended counting produced stunning results. GOP candidate Young Kim, who enjoyed a 14-point lead in polling prior to the election, had an 8,000 vote lead over her Democrat opponent, Gil Cisneros, on election night and the following day. Her victory seemed so assured that she even attended orientation events for freshmen members of Congress. But as the ballots continued to pour in her lead shrank and ultimately evaporated.
California’s results captured the attention of outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), arguably the foremost example of the adage “addition by subtraction” in a party still besieged by far too many milquetoast members. “The way the absentee-ballot program used to work, and the way it works now — it seems pretty loosey goose,” Ryan stated. “When you have candidates who win the absentee ballot vote and then lose three weeks later because of provisionals, that’s really bizarre. I just think that’s a very, very strange outcome.”
Yet staying true to form, Ryan insisted he didn’t see “anything nefarious” regarding the election’s outcome, adding he would not ask California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to investigate.
Even so, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla was incensed by Ryans comments. “It shouldn’t ‘defy logic’ that elections officials are meticulous in counting every eligible ballot,” said the man who won’t cooperate with voter fraud investigations, allow independent inspection of election results, or open up voter rolls. “California works to ensure every ballot is counted properly and every ballot is accounted for. In the most populous state in the nation — and the state with the largest number of registered voters — this takes time. In California, we believe in an inclusive and accessible democracy. We provide voters as many opportunities as possible to cast their ballots.”
Opportunities ripe for fraud. The state’s Motor Voter law registers to vote virtually everyone who interacts with the DMV. In September, the LA Times revealed 23,000 people had been incorrectly registered. In October, the paper added another 1,500 people to the total, including illegal residents, minors, and ineligible felons.
California also has a Conditional Voter Registration process that allows one to vote and cast a ballot on the same day — a provisional ballot process that allows voting by people who show up at the incorrect polling location or have changed their minds about voting by mail. The latter is thanks to a law that allows counties to send every voter a mail-in ballot, whether they requested one or not, and one that permits ballots to be accepted up to a week after Election Day, provided they are postmarked by then. And just 50 days before the election, Gov. Brown signed Senate Bill 759, requiring elections officials to notify every voter whose ballot was rejected because of a mismatched signature.
Furthermore, thousands of felons have also been enfranchised courtesy of California’s radical criminal-justice agenda, whereby numerous crimes were downgraded from felonies to misdemeanors. The state also allows felons to vote while still on parole, and has precipitated early prison releases that enable it as well.
A videotape of Democrat vote harvester “Lulu” captured by a Santa Clarita family’s Ring camera is clarifying. “Yeah, we’re offering this new service, but only to, like, people who are supporting the Democratic party,” Lulu tells the resident. “It’s a service; I’m just trying to pick up your ballot and show you how to do it if you don’t know.” When the woman asks how she’ll know that everything will be handled properly, Lulu decides to leave. “That’s okay,” she says before going.
Okay for whom? A watchdog group called Counted As Cast sounded the alarm before AB 1921 was passed, asserting it “would allow anybody to walk into an elections office and hand over truckloads of vote by mail envelopes with ballots inside, no questions asked, no verified records kept. It amounts to an open invitation to large-scale vote buying, voter coercion, ‘granny farming’, and automated forgery. AB 1921 solves no problem that a simple stamp can’t solve.”
Columnist Scott Morefield envisions other possibilities for rampant abuse, noting that “Lulus” working for the Democrat Party could go to a house with a MAGA flag planted in the yard, pretend to be a GOP ballot harvester, take the voter’s ballot and toss it in the trash. “Could she then go to someone’s home who had no intention of voting, then ‘convince’ them to vote Democrat and give their ballot to her or else their next social security check won’t be coming? Again, yes she could,” he adds. “Or maybe a union boss asks the folks under his charge to become permanent ‘vote-by-mail’ voters so, you know, he can keep them ‘informed’ on the issues. Or maybe a partisan nursing home administrator ‘helpfully’ collects the ballots of her residents only to shred those from all the guys wearing the Vietnam Veteran hats.
Columnist Monica Showalter asserts that ballot harvesting puts “non-committed voters, or voters with no opinions, or low-information voters” on a par with committed and informed voters. She explains, “Now there’s no commitment needed, no effort — just that paper ballot sitting on the kitchen table and that helpful Democratic ‘service’ come to selectively harvest it for Democrats, leaving those Republican-registered ballots still there on the table.
Republicans can fight back, but it’s beside the point. Election Day has become election month, and California isn’t the only state that has elevated convenience to the point of absurdity. It’s time Americans realized that nothing better accrues to the interests of a ruling class with visions of permanent power than trivializing one of the foremost responsibilities of good citizenship. Ballot harvesting is the essence of such trivialization.  ~The Patriot Post

‘Breaking: Supreme Court Sides With Trump Over Sanctuary Cities In Deportation Case

The US Supreme Court sided with President Trump over sanctuary cities today in a 5-4 decision.

The court ruled the government has the power to detain people who are facing deportation because of the crimes they committed.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined justices Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh in the majority.

Bloomberg.com reported:

A divided U.S. Supreme Court bolstered the government’s power to detain people who are facing deportation because of crimes they committed, siding with the Trump administration in a clash with implications for so-called sanctuary cities.

The case focused on non-citizen legal residents who serve a criminal sentence, get released and later are arrested by federal immigration agents.

The 5-4 ruling Tuesday said those people aren’t entitled to a bond hearing, and the possibility of re-release, while the Homeland Security Department presses its case for deportation. The ruling reversed a decision by the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

In announcing the decision from the bench, Justice Samuel Alito said the lower court had made a “policy judgment” using reasoning that “makes a mockery” of the federal immigration laws…

…Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh joined the majority, but they splintered in their reasoning.

Thomas and Gorsuch didn’t agree with all of Alito’s opinion. They said courts lack power to consider issues involving the detention of non-citizens until those people are facing a deportation order.
