House approves two bills to block Trump drilling
By REBECCA BEITSCH
{ thehill.com } ~ The House on Wednesday approved two bills that offer sweeping protections to the nation’s coastlines, permanently blocking offshore drilling on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and part of the Gulf of Mexico... Another vote on legislation to block drilling in the Atlantic is set for Thursday as House Democrats seek to advance their environmental agenda. “We’re striking back this week against the Trump administration and their agenda to drill everywhere, every time, with no exception," House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.) said ahead of Wednesday's votes. There is minimal drilling taking place in the areas protected by the bills, but Democrats want to block off areas the Trump administration is eager to tap as part of its energy dominance strategy. That plan has been put on hold as the administration fights to drill in parts of the Arctic previously protected by former President scumbag/liar-nObama. The White House on Monday announced that President Trump would veto the bills. “These bills would undermine the Administration’s commitment to a prosperous American economy supported by the responsible use of the Nation’s abundant natural resources,” the White House wrote in a statement...  https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/460903-house-approves-two-bills-to-block-trump-drilling
Valerie Plame blames Trump,
gets clobbered with fact-check
By Art Moore
{ wnd.com } ~ Known for the 2003 "CIA leak scandal," Valerie Plame is claiming in an ad for her 2020 congressional campaign that President Trump pardoned the man who "took revenge against my husband and leaked my identity."... However, the man to whom she refers is former Dick Cheney chief of staff Scooter Libby, while the admitted leaker turned out to be State Department official Richard Armitage. Libby was charged not with leaking, but with lying to the FBI. Then-President George Bush commuted Libby's 30-month prison sentence but didn't pardon him. President Trump pardoned Libby in 2018. In his "Fact Checker" column for the Washington Post on Tuesday, Glenn Kessler gave Plame three Pinocchios out of four for blaming Libby and for exaggerating her role in the CIA. Plame claims in the video: I was an undercover CIA operative. My assignment was preventing rogue states and terrorists from getting nuclear weapons. You name a hot spot, I lived it. images of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan and North Korea Then Dick Cheney’s chief of staff took revenge against my husband and leaked my identity. His name: Scooter Libby. Guess who pardoned him last year? The question is followed by an image of President Trump. Kessler noted the ad "strongly suggests that Plame was an undercover operative in places such as Iran and North Korea, when that was not the case. She was under diplomatic cover in Greece." Further, when her name was publicly disclosed in a July 14, 2003, Robert Novak column, she was working at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and was not an undercover operative. Kessler gives Plame three Pinocchios instead of four because Bush administration officials were "certainly eager to discredit Wilson, who had emerged as a damaging critic about the failed search to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq," meaning one could possibly "draw a fuzzy line from Libby’s inquiries about Wilson’s role, the State Department memo and Libby’s conversations with administration officials to the eventual leak of Plame’s name." A spokesman for Plame's campaign responded to the Post...   https://www.wnd.com/2019/09/valerie-plame-blames-trump-gets-clobbered-fact-check/

Doug Collins RIPS scumbag liar-Nadler to
His Face, Says Dems ‘Lost in Impeachment Oz’

by hannity.com ~ GOP Rep. Doug Collins slammed Congressman scumbag liar-Jerrold Nadler during fiery hearings on Capitol Hill Thursday... saying House Democrats are “lost in impeachment Oz” and are unable to “find their way out of the mess.” “Today’s ambiguity is a product of the chairman’s own making because there is an easy way to know exactly whether this committee is in #impeachment proceedings: It’s called a vote. A vote of the full House of Representatives,” posted Collins on social media. “Democrats followed the yellow brick road, and now they’re fully lost in impeachment Oz—try as they might, they can’t find their way out of the mess they’ve made because they think ‘words don’t matter,’” he added. House Democrats voted Thursday to officially unveil their “guidelines” surrounding an investigation into whether they will recommend filing articles of impeachment against President Trump. The proposal left most lawmakers -including many Democrats- confused and bewildered as to what the resolution actually means. “Some call this process an impeachment inquiry. Some call it an impeachment investigation. There is no legal difference between these terms, and I no longer care to argue about the nomenclature,” scumbag liar-Nadler said as he opened the hearing. “But let me clear up any remaining doubt: The conduct under investigation poses a threat to our democracy. We have an obligation to respond to this threat. And we are doing so.” GOP Rep. Doug Collins slammed scumbag liar-Nadler’s inquiry, saying his Committee has “become a giant Instagram filter … it’s put in there to look like something, but it’s really not.” “My colleagues know very well they don’t have the votes to authorize impeachment proceedings on the House floor, but they want to impeach the president anyway,” Collins said. “So, they are pretending to initiate impeachment.” “Under these procedures, when we have finished these hearings and considered as much evidence we are able to gather, we will decide whether to refer articles of impeachment to the House floor,” scumbag liar-Nadler said in his opening statement.   https://hannity.com/media-room/fantasy-island-doug-collins-rips-nadler-to-his-face-says-dems-lost-in-impeachment-oz/

The Inspector General Will Testify
Under Oath About FISA Abuse Report

by hannity.com ~ Senate Judiciary Chair Lindsey Graham stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night to comment on the Inspector General’s report into widespread FISA abuse... saying Mr. Horowitz will testify under oath in the coming weeks. “When are you we going to get the Inspector General’s report on FISA abuse?” asked Hannity. “I can promise you this, the Senate Judiciary Committee will call Mr. Horowitz, and he will testify under oath about this report. We’re going to declassify as much as we can including FISA warrant applications,” said Graham. “Transparency and accountability are my goals… Here’s what I believe without any doubt, the dossier remains unverified to this day, and the author of the dossier was on the payroll of the Democratic Party,” he added. Sen. Lindsey Graham called-on Attorney General Bill Barr to release a series of documents related to allegations of widespread FISA abuse during the 2016 election; saying the American people have a right to view the “complete results” of the Inspector General’s investigation. “Since March 28, 2018, the Department’s Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, has been conducting an investigation into the Department’s and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s compliance with legal requirements, and with applicable Department and FBI policies and procedures, in applications filed with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) related to Carter Page. According to Inspector General David Horowitz that investigation is nearing completion,” Graham wrote in a letter to the Attorney General. “In order for the Inspector General to be able to present the most complete results of his investigation to Congress and the American people, certain documents will need to be declassified and released to the public. I write to urge you to declassify all documents the Inspector General identifies as appropriate for declassification as much as possible, without harming national security,” he added.   https://hannity.com/media-room/graham-on-hannity-the-inspector-general-will-testify-under-oath-about-fisa-abuse-report/
Make No Mistake: The GOP is Losing Texas
By Joshua Foxworth
{ americanthinker.com } ~ To date, five congressmen from Texas have resigned instead of seeking re-election in 2020. Their resignations signal two things from GOP leadership. The first is the realization that Texas is now lost... The second is that this loss is due entirely to the changing demographics resulting from legal and illegal immigration. The five congressmen that have resigned are Bill Flores (17th), Will Hurd (23rd), Pete Olson (22nd), Kenny Marchant (24th), and Mike Conaway (11th). Of these five, Congressman Conaway is unique in that his district will likely remain red for some time. He has not faced an opponent in numerous election cycles. Congressman Hurd’s district 23 has always been very competitive with the victors winning the general elections by an average of about 1% in the last three elections. The district follows the border with Mexico, and it is a bit surprising that Republicans have been able to get elected at all considering it is 24% white and 69% Hispanic. In 2012 and 2016, the Republican in district 23 was able to outspend opponents by a margin of 2 to 1. In 2018, the Democrats actually outspent the Republicans in that district by a slight margin of 6 to 5. The fact that the Republican was the incumbent was likely the sole deciding factor in the Republican victory. With that same Democratic candidate already raising close to $600,000 for 2020, the GOP leadership saw this district as not worth the $5 million they spent in 2018. District 23 is now permanently blue. Districts 17, 22, and 24 follow the pattern already seen in district 23. With massive numbers of legal and illegal migrants, the demographics of those districts has caused a gradual and undeniable shift from Republican to Democrat. For the election cycles in 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018, the Republicans have won district 17 with percentages of 80%, 65%, 61%, and 57%. District 22 has been won with percentages of 64%, 67%, 60%, 51%. District 24 has been won with percentages of 61%, 65%, 56%, and 51%... This is very sad to see this happen.  https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/09/make_no_mistake_the_gop_is_losing_texas.html

The High Cost if Demos Reverse
Trump's Deregulation

Political Editors:  As the Democrat presidential candidates run on a platform of essentially banning capitalism and replacing it with massive government-run welfare programs, one factor often overlooked is the hidden regulatory cost on the public at large, beyond government spending. Just how much savings has Trump’s deregulation crusade brought, and what would be the impact if those savings were reversed?

Cornerstone Macro’s Andy Laperriere notes, “The cost of new regulations is down more than 80% since Trump took office, which amounts to close to $100 billion less — each year — in the cost to the private sector of new government rules.” He adds, “The number of economically significant rules, those estimated to impose $100 million or more in costs to the private sector, are down about 75% under Trump. The number of pages in the Federal Register, another measure of the burden of complying with new government rules, has seen the biggest two-year decline since records have been kept.”

Laperriere then observes that Democrat plans such as the Green New Deal would create a regulatory nightmare for all Americans. As a result, the cost of doing business in America would increase exponentially. So, beyond an increase in taxes to pay for all the “free stuff” Democrats promise, and beyond reversing all of the savings Trump’s deregulation has brought, the price of doing business would also increase due to a wave of new regulations. It’s not a pretty picture.   ~The Patriot Post
