‘There Is No Climate Emergency’

{ breitbart.com } ~ More than 500 scientists and professionals in climate and related fields have sent a “European Climate Declaration” to the Secretary-General of the United Nations asking for a long-overdue, high-level, open debate on climate change... Just as 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg addressed the U.N. Climate Action Summit in New York accusing world leaders of robbing her of her future, scientists were begging the United Nations to keep hysteria from obscuring facts. “Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific,” the declaration states. “Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real benefits as well as the imagined costs of adaptation to global warming, and the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of mitigation.”The scientists underscored the importance of not rushing into enormously expensive climate action before fully ascertaining the facts. “There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent,” they declared. “However, CO2-mitigation measures are as damaging as they are costly. For instance, wind turbines kill birds and bats, and palm-oil plantations destroy the biodiversity of the rainforests.” The signatories of the declaration also insist that public policy must respect scientific and economic realities and not just reflect the most fashionable frenzy of the day. “There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm,” they note. “We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy proposed for 2050.” “If better approaches emerge, and they certainly will, we have ample time to reflect and adapt. The aim of international policy should be to provide reliable and affordable energy at all times, and throughout the world,” they state....

Per the Daily Caller, these are the words scumbag-Schiff attributed to President Trump: “This is the essence of what the president communicates. We’ve been very good to your country, very good, no other country has done as much as we have, but you know what, I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good.” scumbag-Schiff continued, making it up as he went along: “I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand, lots of it, on this and on that. I’m going to put you in touch with people, not just any people, I’m going to put you in touch with the attorney general of the United States, my attorney general Bill Barr. He’s got the whole weight of the American law enforcement behind him.” The House Intelligence Committee chairman even suggested that Trump told Zelensky, “‘And I’m going to put you in touch with Rudy — you’re going to love him, trust me. You know what I’m asking, and so I’m only going to say this a few more times in a few more ways. And by the way, don’t call me again, I’ll call you when you’ve done what you’ve asked.’ This is the sum and character what the president was trying to communicate with the president of Ukraine. It would be funny if it wasn’t such a graphic betrayal of the president’s Oath of Office.” scumbag-Schiff simply lied. Not a word of his tirade came from the transcript of the president’s conversation with Zelensky. scumbag-Schiff made it all up, and it didn’t resemble the actual transcript in any respect... scumbag-Schiff should be removed from his chairmanship..
Navy, Marines Rethinking How to Build Future
Fleet with Unmanned, Expeditionary Ships

{ news.usni.org } ~ Though the Navy had already advertised it was updating its desired fleet size and composition, after a 2016 effort pegged the future fleet at 355 ships, the service is now taking an even bigger step... working on an Integrated Naval Force Structure Assessment that also includes emerging unmanned and expeditionary platforms to support new concepts of warfare, according to a memo signed by the chief of naval operations and commandant of the Marine Corps. The planned force structure assessment (FSA) would examine how many of today’s ships – today’s hull designs, with current or near-term capabilities – the Navy needs to meet operational requirements around the world. However, questions have been swirling for the last year or so about what unmanned surface vessels – into which the Navy is planning to invest significantly in the coming years – will mean for the future force size and composure, as well as what the Marines’ desire to leverage alternate platforms to get more people and gear afloat might mean. Navy leadership had previously said a new FSA was in the works and would be out by the end of the year, though it was unclear if this FSA would begin to tackle the changing face of what a Navy warship could look like. According to a Sept. 6 memo signed by new leaders of both services, CNO Adm. Michael Gilday and Commandant Gen. David Berger, the services will complete by the end of this month an interim FSA that keeps to a traditional current-capabilities look at what the Navy needs. The Muslim Brotherhood Must Be Confronted

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ The White House has, since April, been considering officially designating the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO)... This designation would follow in the footsteps of countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, which have first-hand experience and understanding of the serious threat the MB represents. The MB's modus operandi typically works through four stages: Preaching, sharing, use of violence, full control. It would therefore be wise to confront them sooner rather than later, before they manifest their full power. Some of the organization's sympathizers and apologists seem sincerely to believe that the MB is a "moderate" group. Sadly, the evidence strongly suggests otherwise. Let us consider some examples. The MB's ideological and political backing of the terrorist group Hamas, an offshoot of the MB, is well-documented and publicly acknowledged. Although Hamas claimed to have broken ties to the MB in 2017, apparently to try to improve its ties with the Gulf States, observers were skeptical. While supposedly renouncing all ties to the MB, according to the American Center for Democracy: "... Sami Abu Zuhri denies all political, organizational or popular ties between Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. However, he added that ideologically Hamas belonged to the Muslim Brotherhood Alarabiya.net, March 22, 2016. Mahmoud al-Zahar made similar statements to Al-Sharq quoted by Paltoday." That the MB through its affiliates continues to provide Hamas with material support seems an open secret. U.S.-based members of the Muslim Brotherhood established a Palestine Committee that was ultimately charged with the task of raising funds to underwrite Hamas's efforts to eliminate the state of Israel. Hamas and the MB are reportedly still calling for Israel's destruction. Terrorist acts by Hamas against innocent civilians and children, even their own, are still ongoing. commie-Sanders: Billionaires Should Not Exist
Thomas Gallatin: “There should be no billionaires,” Democrat presidential candidate commie-Bernie Sanders declared yesterday. He added, “We are going to tax their extreme wealth and invest in working people.” commie-Sanders’s message headlined his rollout of his latest policy proposal: a massive tax specifically meant to punish wealthy Americans and redistribute their money. Hello, communism.
Fox News reports, “commie-Sanders’ plan, if enacted into law, would place a 1 percent tax on net worth over $32 million, a 2 percent tax on net worth between $50 million and $250 million, and a 3 percent tax on net worth between $250 million and $500 million. The proposed commie-Sanders tax would increase to 4 percent net worth from $500 million to $1 billion, 5 percent for net worth from $1 billion to $2.5 billion, and ultimately reach 8 percent for wealth over $10 billion.”
Using tired old leftist class-warfare rhetoric, commie-Sanders asserts, “Under this plan, the wealth of billionaires would be cut in half over 15 years, which would substantially break up the concentration of wealth and power of this small, privileged class.”
But commie-Sanders isn’t the only one singing this Marxist tune. Earlier this year, one-percenter Elizabeth dinky-Warren unveiled her own tax-the-rich-to-pay-for-socialism scheme. It would levee a 2% annual tax on everything above $50 million and a 3% tax on net worth above $1 billion.
commie-Sanders’s plan to confiscate wealth from billionaires would still fall well short of the money needed to fund all his socialist policy proposals. For example, his Medicare for All plan alone would cost an estimated $32 trillion over the next 10 years, while his billionaire tax would net just $4.35 trillion over the same period of time. So, who ends up making up the near $28 trillion difference?
Both commie-Sanders and dinky-Warren claim that their tax proposals would only impact 180,000 and 70,000 households respectively. Clearly, neither commie-Sanders nor dinky-Warren recognize the trickle-down effect that raising taxes on the wealthy has upon the economy at large. Like a pebble dropped into a pool, the ripples spread across the entire surface. The simple fact of the matter is that everyone would be impacted by such a grotesque government money grab. ~The Patriot Post
