{ theconservativetreehouse.com  } ~ In the larger picture it is clear the scumbag/liar-nObama administration weaponized the institutions of government to target their political opposition... It is also increasingly clear a scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton administration would have monetized the U.S. government. President scumbag/liar-nObama’s team used the DOJ, CIA, FBI and IRS to target their opposition. The intelligence apparatus was weaponized; one small example that scratches the surface is the FBI/NSA database exploitation. Black files on DC politicians, private sector groups and individuals facilitating leverage, and we are still seeing the ramifications. When former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne recently discussed his role within the 2016  “political espionage” operations, he described the financial interests of political office; not coincidentally he also seems to have retreated into a safe-space. Big multinational interests, Big Pharma, Big Ag, Big Global Banking interests, etc, were exclusively supporting both President scumbag/liar-nObama and candidate scumbag/liar-Clinton. The domestic politics of the U.S. were/are tools toward an end; and, so long as the person occupying the oval office did not interfere with Big Club objectives, they too would benefit financially. The college kid wearing a pink pussy hat is oblivious, but the executive offices of the Deep State FBI, Intelligence Community, DOJ and the power structures within the House and Senate are not; they know.  It is the way of the swamp. Why would a senate candidate spend $10 million to win an election that pays $300k/year? How do politicians become multi-millionaires while in office? Likely a great many more people are aware of the bigger issues than ever before. Perhaps this explains the dynamic of angst amid those same occupants...

{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Judiciary member and ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, Jim Jordan, outlined the House Intelligence Committee testimony today from Kurt Volker... the former State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations. “Nothing said today supported scumbag-Adam Schiff and the democrats’ impeachment narrative. Nothing”Additionally, John Roberts (Fox News) is confirming the White House will send a letter to Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi saying the administration will not comply with any demands from congressional investigators until the full House votes to launch an impeachment inquiry. David Mamet had a famous saying, essentially: …‘in order for democrats, liberals, progressives et al to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things’…By pretending ‘not to know’ there is no guilt, no actual connection to conscience. Denial of truth allows easier trespass. This hate-filled Democrat ideology relies on our willingness to accept their lies, falsehoods, and scripted presentations; and simultaneous demand we grant benefit amid their seeds of doubt…. Hence, liar-Nancy Pelosi and her sanctimonious “prayerful” commentary.

liar-Pelosi’s Impeachment Bank Shot

{ freebeacon.com } ~ Democrats are rushing into impeachment despite the knowledge that, given what we know now, the Senate will not remove Donald Trump from office... Why is liar-Nancy Pelosi doing this? Because she has resigned herself to the argument that impeaching Trump is the way for Democrats to win the presidency and Senate 13 months from now. liar-Pelosi's bank shot isn't aimed at Trump's conviction on the Hill. It's aimed at his loss at the polls.  American University professor Allan Lichtman best expressed the political logic in a recent op-ed. His "13 keys" model, along with most quantitative forecasts, currently favors Trump's reelection. Lichtman says impeachment would change that by tarnishing the incumbent with scandal. The facts of the case, and whether the Senate convicts, do not matter. Impeachment alone would not doom Trump according to Lichtman's model. What it might do is trigger additional events that would help Democrats. The cumulative effect would be a Republican loss. The conventional wisdom that impeachment backfired on the Republicans in 1998 has been overturned. Yes, the argument goes, the GOP gave up some House seats. That did not stop them from winning the presidency and both chambers of Congress two years later. Impeachment contributed to "scumbag/liar-Clinton fatigue." It boosted the chances of a candidate who promised to restore dignity to the White House. The same could happen in 2020. Advocates of impeachment say the inquiry, whether an official "proceeding" or not, might damage Trump's approval rating to such an extent that he will draw forth a significant primary challenger, a third-party candidacy, or both. Nor is political tumult and uncertainty helpful for a global economy roiled by trade war and lack of investment. Recession would make Trump's downfall even more likely...  https://freebeacon.com/columns/pelosis-impeachment-bank-shot/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=890de58468-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_10_03_08_51_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-890de58468-45611665

Politics of Impeachment

{ realclearpolitics.com } ~ As the House initiates an official impeachment inquiry and moves toward a likely vote to impeach, here are five observations on the politics of the moment... Our previous impeachments shed little light on this one. It’s generally unwise to make confident predictions without a relatively large data set to draw upon. Here, we have only had four examples of serious impeachment proceedings. The first two – John Tyler and Andrew Johnson – do not help us understand our present politics. Both involved presidents who had weak relationships with their respective parties and who had succeeded to the office after presidents of the opposing party had died while serving. Perhaps more importantly, both took place in the mid-1800s, long before the arrival of reliable public opinion polling. The other two examples are more relevant, but in both cases it is nearly impossible to isolate the specifics of impeachment from the broader political context. Richard Nixon’s case would seem to offer a good example for Democrats, as his job approval suffered an astonishing decline from 67% at his second inauguration to a mere 24% as he left office after being told by GOP leaders that he would not survive a Senate trial. Republicans were crushed in the ensuing midterm elections, and Nixon’s successor, Gerald Ford, lost to an inexperienced Southern Democrat named Jimmy Carter two years later. It is not, however, clear how much of this is attributable to impeachment itself. Nixon had the advantage of running for reelection amid 5% economic growth, which doubtless juiced his job approval numbers. But the economy began turning against Nixon at the beginning of his second term. The easy money policies pursued by the Federal Reserve began to catch up with the country, as the monthly inflation rate brushed up against 1% in March 1973 and almost hit 2% in August. Overall inflation for the year was almost 9%, and the federal funds rate hit 11%. In 1974, inflation surged to over 12%. At the same time, in October of 1973, OPEC instituted an embargo of oil to the United States, causing widespread gas shortages. The country entered a serious recession, which lasted until 1975 – the longest recession the country had experienced since the Great Depression...

Nate Jackson:  What could salve the wounds of a nation with deep political divisions better than … another scumbag/liar-Clinton presidency? As far fetched as that sounds, it is certainly suspicious timing that scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton (with daughter Chelsea) released a book Tuesday called, The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience. Maybe it’s purely coincidence that it was published smack in the middle of impeachment fever over how Donald Trump “stole” the 2016 election from scumbag/liar-Clinton and is attempting to do it again in 2020.

scumbag/liar-Clinton said in a weekend interview to promote the book that Trump is “an illegitimate president.” That implies she’s the “rightful” occupant of the Oval Office. And, thus, she says, “There should be an impeachment inquiry opened. And I think, sadly, there are a number of grounds.” Namely that Trump defeated scumbag/liar-Clinton.

According to Chelsea, who is vice chair of the scumbag/liar-Bill, scumbag/liar-Hillary and Chelsea scumbag/liar-Clinton Foundation, “If history shows one thing, it’s that the world needs gutsy women.” Is any woman more “gutsy” than scumbag/liar-Hillary? Gutsy to engage in corrupt real-estate dealings (Whitewater). Gutsy to complain about a “vast right-wing conspiracy” to oust her husband for high crimes and misdemeanors. Gutsy to carpetbag for a layup New York Senate seat. Gutsy to use a private email server to hide her shady scumbag/liar-Clinton Foundation dealings while she was secretary of state. Gutsy to leave four Americans to die in a terrorist attack in Benghazi, only to blame a video and then throw a tantrum in congressional testimony, asking, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

scumbag/liar-Hillary says her own gutsiest political decision was to “run for president.” But “personally,” she claims it was “the decision to stay in my marriage.” Those two are very closely related. scumbag/liar-Hillary was often known as scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton’s “co-president” because of the active role she had in his administration, and her own political ambitions were hardly hidden. Had she divorced scumbag/liar-Bill for his serial philandering and sexual predation she would have cut off her own career, so she had little choice but to make that “gutsy”  politically expedient decision. Now, she’s merely trying to get the #MeToo gaggle to give her a break over making it.

Is scumbag/liar-Clinton hoping a third time is a charm? We’re not quite convinced, though we do note that the Ukraine kerfuffle has weakened Democrat frontrunner loose lips liar-Joe Biden. Think it would be a bad time to remind folks that then-Secretary of State scumbag/liar-Clinton facilitated the sale of 20% of American uranium-mining capacity to Russia right about the same time scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 for a speaking engagement in Moscow? Or that, as Marc Theissen points out, “$145 million went to the scumbag/liar-Clinton Foundation from interests linked to Uranium One”?

Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson think the scumbag/liar-Clinton-Ukraine connection might be relevant. The pair sent a letter this week to Attorney General William Barr requesting an investigation into the “brazen efforts by the Democratic National Committee and scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton campaign to use the government of Ukraine for the express purpose of finding negative information on then candidate Trump in order to undermine his campaign.”

Running again with that record isn’t what we’d call gutsy. It’d be unmitigated chutzpah.   ~The Patriot Post
