Levin: The Iranians Are on The Move, And It'd a Big Deal
{ rickwells.us } ~ Wednesday on his syndicated radio talk show , Mark Levin read aloud what he called a “breaking news” piece from CNN... on a massive Iranian military exercise in the Persian Gulf, Levin warning that the “Iranians are on the move,” and “it’s a big deal.” Levin’s remarks came after CNN reported a massive Iranian military exercise expected to take place in the Persian Gulf “that could demonstrate Iran’s ability to shut down the Straight of Hormuz, a crucial conduit for global energy supplies, US officials say.” CNN reported, the US assesses the IRGC has assembled a fleet of more than 100 boats, many of them small, fast-moving vessels. It’s expected Iranian air and ground assets including coastal defensive missile batteries could be involved.” Levin said, The Islamo-nazi regime in Iran; the economy dying; the people, in many respects, rising up; the mullahs, the fundamentalist Islamic mullahs, who’ve divided that country up economically like warlords, they seek to hold on to their power; and so, it may come to this. “Now let’s see about the isolationists in our own country, some of them on cable TV. What is it our business there? What’s our business, It’s called oil, geniuses. It’s more than that. One country gets away with this, other countries do the same thing. “Why are people so stupid? They just are...

Mueller Prosecutors Get Smacked Down
for Inappropriate Behavior by Fed-up Judge

{ westernjournal.com } ~ U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III criticised Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team on Wednesday for their behavior... during the fraud trial of ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. Ellis had to remind the prosecutors that Manafort is not on trial for simply having a “lavish lifestyle.” Mueller’s prosecutors were trying to build their case “to paint Manafort as a tax scofflaw who failed to report money spent on luxury items — then lied to get bank loans when his foreign consulting work dried up,” Fox News reported. However, when the prosecutors pulled out photos of Manafort’s closets, which were filled with suits and other nice articles of clothing, Ellis said that such evidence was “unnecessary.” “Enough is enough,” he said. “We don’t convict people because they have a lot of money and throw it around.” Ellis also ruled that a document the prosecution was trying to exhibit only showed that “Mr. Manafort had a lavish lifestyle” and the document “isn’t relevant.” According to Fox News, there is a fairly high legal standard for excluding evidence based on irrelevance, and judges only choose to do so if the evidence “has no tendency to make any fact at issue in the case more or less likely, or that would pose a substantial risk of unfairly arousing juror bias.”...

{ thenewamerican.com } ~ Portland and its mayor are under heavy legal fire and suffering a wave of bad publicity because police, critics allege, have failed to protect federal immigration employees... from angry anti-Trump leftists known as Occupy ICE. A letter from the union representing workers for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), sent on July 30 to Portland mayor Ted Wheeler accused him of ordering the police to stand down when called for help. The mayor stated that is untrue. Whoever is right, federal workers felt threatened. The attorney for the ICE Council, Sean Riddell, told the mayor that a policy forbidding police protection for the federal workers violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment. “Your policy of not providing police services to employees of ICE creates a class of people based upon their source of income,” the letter said, adding that the policy has “created a zone of terror and lawlessness.” Riddell also warned the mayor that failure to terminate the policy would end in federal litigation...This Portland Mayor is a donkey.   https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/immigration/item/29689-portland-mayor-under-fire-after-anti-ice-mob-threatens-workers?vsmaid=342&vcid=3421

Lawmakers Demand Declassification of Bruce Ohr FBI Interviews

{ saraacarter.com } ~ Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-IA) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) have been stonewalled since last year... by the Department of Justice, which has refused to turn over interviews the FBI conducted with former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr. Ohr was demoted twice for failing to disclose his involvement with significant figures including his wife associated with the unverified dossier from the now-embattled research firm, Fusion GPS, which alleged President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia. The lawmakers say Ohr’s close relationship with former British spy and dossier author, Christopher Steele is deeply troubling. Also concerning to lawmakers is the fact that even after Steele was terminated by the FBI he worked as a source until he was fired for “unauthorized disclosure to the media of his relationship with the FBI”, Ohr continued to supply documents from the ex-spy to the bureau. Lawmakers tell SaraACarter.com that the interview documents known as 302s should be declassified because they believe it will reveal the extent of Ohr’s involvement with Fusion GPS, his relationship with Steele and Fusion GPS owner Glenn Simpson, and his communications with FBI officials investigating Trump’s campaign. “Ohr was one of the top officials at DOJ and they told the court they had terminated Steele, but Ohr was continuing to meet with Steele despite his termination and then he was feeding the information to the FBI,” said Nunes on Thursday. “It is completely appropriate for Grassley to ask for these documents to be declassified.”...

{ washingtontimes.com } ~ Senators announced legislation Thursday to impose a new set of sanctions on Russia, seeking to warn Moscow against future meddling... while also reassuring European allies of American support, notwithstanding President Trump’s unpredictable approach to them. The bill harnesses economic sanctions, U.S. immigration law, federal prosecutors and international treaties to try to pressure Russian leaders into a more cooperative stance on the world stage. It also asks the State Department to consider listing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. President Vladimir Putin remains a particular target, with the bill calling for a government report on his estimated net worth and assets, and allowing the government to impose economic sanctions on anyone deemed complicit with him in corrupt activities. “Our goal is to change the status quo and impose crushing sanctions and other measures against Putin’s Russia until he ceases and desists meddling in the US electoral process, halts cyberattacks on U.S. infrastructure, removes Russia from Ukraine, and ceases efforts to create chaos in Syria,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican. He’s sponsoring the bill along with Republican Sens. rino-John McCain and Cory Gardner, and dummycrats-Democratic Sens. Robert Menendez, Ben Cardin and Jeanne Shaheen. They are senior members on the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees...   https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/aug/2/senators-bill-punish-russian-meddling-election/

CNN's Jim Acosta Can't Take What He Dishes

by Thomas Gallatin:  CNN reporter scumbag-Jim Acosta was in Tampa, Florida, covering President Donald Trump’s Tuesday rally. At one point during Acosta’s live coverage of the event, a group of Trump supporters loudly chanted “CNN sucks!” scumbag-Acosta, whose obsessively negative anti-Trump reporting has earned the ire of both the president and many conservatives, sought to portray the behavior of the rally-goers in the worst and most dramatic light possible. “Just a sample of the sad scene we faced at the Trump rally in Tampa,” he lamented from the fainting couch. “I’m very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt. We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy.”

Where was scumbag-Acosta’s concern over “hostility whipped up” by people at anti-Trump rallies? Or how about his own insinuation that Trump supporters are dangerously stupid? In an interview with Variety, he haughtily asserted, “They don’t have all their faculties and in some cases their elevator might not hit all floors.
As Mark Alexander noted yesterday, however, it’s leftists who often suffer Trump Derangement Syndrome.
scumbag-Acosta complained, “[Trump] is whipping these crowds up into a frenzy to the point where they really want to come after us.” Nothing likescumbag/mad-Maxine Waters calling for harassment of Trump officials, or a commie-Bernie Sanders fanboy attempting to murder Republicans, we’re sure.
But scumbag-Acosta also leveled blame at Fox News, adding, “My sense of it is that these opinions these folks have at these rallies, they’re shaped by what they see in the primetime hours of Fox News and what they hear from some conservative news outlets that just sort of give them this daily diet of what they consider to be terrible things we do over here at CNN.” He even had the gumption to accuse Fox opinion commentator Sean Hannity of “peddling lies every night” “for profit.” Talk about throwing stones from glass houses. The irony here is that scumbag-Acosta is the one who claims the mantel of a journalist, something Hannity regularly notes he is not. Yet scumbag-Acosta assumes that his own opinion of Hannity equates to journalistic reporting of the truth. That’s not journalism; it’s hubris.
It’s precisely this elitist, condescending, know-it-all attitude regularly displayed by much of the mainstream media that has brought on Americans’ ire and distrust. Hannity was kind enough to point this out to scumbag-Acosta, stating, “I’m actually going to give your network some advice, if you have an open mind and an open heart, maybe a little bit of humility. The people of this country are screaming at you for a reason. They don’t like your unfair, abusively biased treatment of the president of the United States.” That, in a nutshell, is why scumbag-Acosta will continue to fail.
