White House pulls out of summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un

{ foxnews.com } ~ President Trump on Thursday canceled the highly anticipated summit with North Korea that was set for next month... calling the talks “inappropriate” following the “hostility” displayed in the latest comments from dictator Kim Jong Un. The move to pull out of the summit, slated to take place in Singapore on June 12, came after threats from Kim to call off the talks. In a letter to Kim on Thursday, Trump said the world, and North Korea, has lost a "great opportunity for lasting peace and great prosperity." “Based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting,” Trump wrote in a letter to Kim on Thursday. “Therefore, please let this letter serve to represent that the Singapore summit, for the good of both parties, but to the detriment of the world, will not take place.”....

Rep Matt Gaetz offers his opinion of such counsel, saying, “Any attorney that advises Donald Trump to interview with Bob Mueller needs to immediately put their malpractice insurance carrier on notice, because that would be pretty darn close to legal malpractice.” “This is a perjury trap,” says Gaetz. “This is a team that was set up, not to investigate crimes, but to get Donald Trump. That’s what the start of this investigation was about from the very first pieces of evidence collected by Peter Strzok. People don’t like to point out that the Papadopoulos information came through Peter Strzok” before it became part of a liar-Clinton purchased dossier and FISA application.....

{ westernjournal.com } ~ Kat Taylor — the wife of billionaire environmentalist and political activist Tom Steyer... protested Harvard University’s fossil fuel investments by resigning from the Harvard Board of Overseers one day before her six-year term was due to expire. Taylor had enough of Harvard University’s fossil fuel investments. She stepped down from her position as a member of the Harvard Board of Overseers on Tuesday. In her resignation letter, Taylor decried the school’s “failure” to “adopt ethical commitments,” according to the Harvard Crimson. “We should and would be horrified to find out that Harvard investments are actually funding some of the pernicious activities against which our standout academic leadership rails,” her letter stated....

Special counsel Robert Mueller is fighting a drive by media organizations to unseal secret court filings relating to searches and surveillance efforts undertaken as part of the investigation into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election...Last month, five news organizations — POLITICO, The Associated Press, The New York Times, CNN and The Washington Post — asked Jackson to unseal an unknown number of warrants and similar orders obtained during the course of the investigation....

{ rickwells.us } ~ Acting ICE Director Tom Homan had enough of being lectured by the liar-nObama, climate change, pro-illegal alien invasion agitator Rep Nanette Barragan... who managed to worm her way into the US Congress as an anchor baby, raised by illegal invader parents as one of 12 children. To say the open borders agitator is biased, with an axe to grind against border and law enforcement and national security would be an understatement. She had no right to vent her distorted, anti-American views on Homan or the other members of the panel, and Homan took her to task for it. Barragan did what many open border leftists do as a matter of routine, conflate illegal squatters with the broader term “immigrants” as a mechanism for attaching undeserved legitimacy to those, like her parents, who broke into our country and have no right to be here. Once she completed her attack, he asked for and was granted permission to respond to her vicious personal attack. At the 4:25 point in the video, Homan told the anti-American agitator disguised as a Congresswoman, “First of all, no one on this panel is anti-immigrant. We’re law enforcement officers enforcing a law that you all enacted.”....

by Thomas Gallatin: More news has come to light that implicates Barack liar-nObama-era officials for involvement in a plot that President Donald Trump has dubbed “Spygate.” Mounting evidence suggests that leadership within U.S. intelligence agencies, specifically the FBI and CIA, secretly orchestrated a surveillance operation against the Trump campaign soon after he won the Republican primary. As we noted last week, it appears that part of this joint CIA-FBI program, codenamed “Operation Crossfire Hurricane,” was the placement of a mole within the Trump campaign. That spy is widely believed to be Stefan Halper, a professor with dual U.S.-British citizenship who has deep connections with both U.S. and British intelligence. However, it’s those individuals behind any plot who are the most responsible. And a name that has been rapidly rising to the top of the Spygate suspect list is that of Barack liar-nObama’s former CIA director, John Brennan. Brennan has been one of the loudest liar-nObama-era officials in criticizing Trump, regularly blaming him for “threatening America’s democracy.” Typical of this hyperbole was his message to congressional Republican leaders on Sunday, in which he warned, “If Mr. Trump continues along this disastrous path, you will bear major responsibility for the harm done to our democracy. You do a great disservice to our Nation & the Republican Party if you continue to enable Mr. Trump’s self-serving actions.”
But what makes Brennan rise to the top of the list are questions regarding his involvement with the infamous Christopher Steele dossier — you know, the one funded byliar-Hillary Clinton and the DNC. It appears that Brennan lied to Congress when he testified that the Steele dossier had nothing to do with the intelligence community’s conclusion that Russian election interference was intended to help Trump. As Investor’s Business Daily notes, “Brennan also lied when he said he didn’t know who was behind the Steele dossier, even though both the Justice Department and FBI knew a year earlier that liar-Hillary Clinton, Trump’s foe, had paid for the Steele hit job. The idea [that] Brennan, head of the world’s most powerful spy agency, didn’t know who was paying for the dossier simply isn’t credible on any level.”
Meanwhile, as L. Brent Bozell & Tim Graham point out, “We’re at a point where we should be asking what liar-nObama’s top intelligence hacks, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and then-CIA Director John Brennan, were cooking in 2016. But guess what. CNN hired Clapper, and NBC News hired Brennan. Now they are paid by the networks to tell the folks at home that Trump is nutty for insisting they did anything nefarious.”
Is Brennan in hot water? Was his recent warning to Republicans a calculated attempt to shift focus away from himself and his actions? It remains to be seen.
