Democratic shakeout: loose lips liar-Biden losing altitude, lowlife-Harris surging, field dividing,
bottom stuck at bottom

washingtonexaminer.com } ~ There have now been five national polls since the first Democratic presidential primary debate. Together, the surveys, conducted by ABC News/Washington Post, Quinnipiac, CNN, The Hill/Harris, and Politico/Morning Consult, show the debate has shaken up the race... The field has separated into three clearly definable tiers, all atop a large group at the bottom made up of candidates with virtually no support. Within the first tier, loose lips liar-Joe Biden, commie-Bernie Sanders, lowlife-Kamala Harris, and Elizabeth dinky-Warren, the leaders' positions are rapidly shifting. Since the debate, only one of the four, lowlife-Harris, is up, while loose lips liar-Biden, commie-Sanders, and dinky-Warren are down. On the day of the debate, loose lips liar-Biden stood at 32% in the RealClearPolitics average of polls. Now, he is down four points, to 28%. That is the biggest drop of anyone in the field. The second-place commie-Sanders has experienced a much smaller decline, from 16.9% to 16%. But he is still closer to loose lips liar-Biden than before because of loose lips liar-Biden's big drop. lowlife-Harris has surged into third place, shooting up from 7% before the debate to 14.6% now. That is the biggest change, up or down, of all the candidates. There has been a lot of second-guessing after lowlife-Harris' pre-planned attack of loose lips liar-Biden over his opposition to 1970's-era forced busing. Busing was wildly unpopular and is widely viewed as a failed policy. How could lowlife-Harris gain after pointing out that loose lips liar-Biden was, in retrospect, right about busing? Well, she has — a lot. dinky-Warren, who was comfortably in third place before the debate, is now in fourth place, down just a bit from 12.8% to 12.4%. That's the first tier. After that, there is a big drop-off to a three-candidate second tier. In it are Pete Buttigieg down from 6.6% to 4.8% in fifth place; socialist-Beto O'Rourke down from 3.3% to 2.4% in sixth place, and scumbag-Cory Booker up ever so slightly from 2.3% to 2.4% in seventh...

leadpatriot.com } ~ The FBI has their hand full when a local investigation into a suspected drug dealer turns into a national security situation... Vincent Kemp was a contractor at the U.S. Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. An unrelated investigation turned up something highly disturbing.  According to the warrant, Kemp initially was under  investigation by the Fairborn City Police Department that he allegedly had a marijuana growing facility in his home. But during their search on May 25, the Fairborn officers discovered the over 1,000 documents, some of which investigators say were “related to Top Secret Special Access Programs” and were “clearly marked as classified.”According to Forbes Kemp admitted to police that he’d printed the files at work and had simply taken them home “for storage,” according to the government’s narrative. After being questioned, he gave consent for police to seize and search his laptop, phone and hard drive. The FBI said it had no comment. The U.S. attorney’s office for southern Ohio said the investigation was ongoing, no charges have been filed and so it wouldn’t be commenting. The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base had not provided comment at the time of publication. That the files were taken from NASIC is a concern given the information it holds, said Jim Lewis, a former U.S. foreign service officer and now senior vice president at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a think tank. If the government’s account is accurate, Kemp “has access to a lot of good data,” Lewis said. “NASIC is one of the big centers they have to look at foreign military airspace activities and technologies. So, it’s good stuff.”...

U.S. airstrike takes out terrorist group

patriotnewsalerts.com } ~ According to reports, a recent U.S. airstrike in Syria wiped out a terrorist training facility that was planning to carry out an attack against American citizens... Intelligence reports stated there was a training facility in operation in northern Syria. That facility, according to those reports, had members of Horas al-Did training there. This group has already been tied to Al Qaeda. Fox News reported the airstrike had been carried out on Sunday. The report stated, “A U.S. military airstrike Sunday struck an Al Qaeda leadership and training facility in northern Syria where militants were ‘plotting external attacks’ against American citizens.” “The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition-linked war monitor, said Monday the strike killed eight members of the Al Qaeda-linked Horas al-Din.” This airstrike comes on the heels of a disturbing report received directly from a captured terrorist. This individual told U.S. officials that terrorist groups were planning to exploit the situation at the southern border to infiltrate our country and carry out devastating attacks.  The increased risk for terrorist activity is just one of the many reasons President Trump has been working so hard to secure our borders. The sad fact, though, is if Trump loses this next election, every bit of what he has done or will do during his remaining days will be undone by Democrats...  https://www.patriotnewsalerts.com/airstrike-takes-out-terrorist/

Flint To Rescind Lead Pipe Contract From
Lowest Bidder And Award It To Politically-
Connected Firm, Delaying Fixes

dailycaller.com } ~ For the second time, the city of Flint, Michigan, is poised to reject the results of its contract bidding process... after an experienced local firm provided the lowest offer. “This is unethical, it is bid rigging, and I certainly won’t be a part of this,” city Councilwoman Eva Worthing said during a Tuesday meeting. “Does council and the city want to deal with a lawsuit over unfair bidding practices by this city? This is favoritism, cronyism … This is basically a sham, it’s unethical, and if council votes to rescind this contract we signed, we’re in trouble.” Residents may have to wait six months longer for repairs because WT Stevens — the company owned by the wife of a former NBA player and which Worthing suspects may have a corrupt relationship with Flint politicos — is still months behind schedule on finishing the last water contract the city gave it, the low-bidding company, Goyette Mechanical, said. “The mayor wants us to take away Goyette’s bid and just give it to WT Stevens,” Worthing said during the meeting. On Monday, Mayor Karen Weaver’s administration abruptly said it would rescind the $12 million contract from Goyette Mechanical, a local firm with 90 years of experience that specializes specifically in municipal water. On Tuesday, it asked the city council to approve the move, but uproar from multiple factions of the city council led to discussions being tabled until July 8.  The city of less than 100,000 has collected more than $647 million in state and federal aid for what is often described as a public health emergency. But when the money reaches City Hall, officials have repeatedly made decisions that have severely slowed the progress of fixing the water pipes, decisions that have had the side effect of sending more money to WT Stevens’ coffers...

By Joe Setyon
{westernjournal.com} ~ At least one person is reported dead and another injured after a volcano on an Italian island known as Stromboli erupted on Wednesday... A rescue service official told Reuters a tourist was killed by falling rocks. “Italian media reported that a hiker had been killed and their partner injured,” according to AFP.“The unexpected eruption started fires on the western side of the small Mediterranean island, which lies north of Sicily, off the toe of Italy,” Reuters reported. “Fire crews were being called in from nearby locations and a Canadair plane was already in action.” Eyewitnesses described a terrifying scene as a result of the eruption, which led to fires breaking out in the nearby town of Ginostra. “It was like being in hell because of the rain of fire coming from the sky,” local priest Giovanni Longo said, according to AFP, which cited Italian media. “We turned around to see a mushroom cloud coming from Stromboli. Everyone was in shock. Then red hot lava started running down the mountain towards the little village of Ginostra,” British tourist Fiona Carter, who was visiting the nearby island of Panarea, told Reuters.“The cloud got bigger, white and gray. It enveloped Ginostra and now the cloud has covered Stromboli entirely. Several boats set off for Stromboli,” she added. Two explosions occurred on the crater’s central-southern side, Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology said. “These are events of great intensity and quite rare,” INGV expert Stefano Branca told Reuters...

Questions I Would Have Asked the Democrats

Cal Thomas

The likelihood I would ever be invited to serve on a network panel questioning the Democratic presidential candidates is equivalent to an invitation to take the next trip to the moon.

Still, as I tortured myself watching the two “debates,” which were not really debates, but mostly a show of memorized sound bites, I thought of unasked questions that ought to have been put to them all.

Question 1: Some of you have, or had, the power to change many of the things you now say are wrong with America. Why didn’t you?

Question 2 (for loose lips liar-Joe Biden): You and Barack scumbag/liar-nObama, for a time, had a Democratic majority in Congress. Why didn’t you reform immigration laws and address homelessness? Your administration deported a lot of people who were in the country illegally, so why criticize President Trump for wanting to follow your example? Do our laws mean nothing?

Question 3: During the second debate, all of you raised your hands when asked if you would provide free health care to immigrants who are here illegally. Aren’t you inviting even more to come to America with such a policy, and wouldn’t that add to our already staggering debt? Follow-up: President Trump said we should take care of Americans first. Why would you use American tax dollars to pay for people who break our laws?

Question 4: Is there anything President Trump has done that you could praise? Many of you talk as if unemployment hasn’t declined — especially for minorities — and wages haven’t risen. Unemployment is at, or near, record lows and wages are up.

Question 5: Some of you think raising taxes again is a good idea, but with a $22 trillion debt and with record amounts of revenue already coming into Washington, isn’t the real problem uncontrolled spending? Follow-up: Are there any government programs you would cut or eliminate?

Question 6: Many of you have a lot of complaints about the U.S. Is there anything positive you could say?

Question 7: Many of you have criticized President Trump for confronting Iran and withdrawing from the nuclear deal. Iran is a major sponsor of terrorism in the world and its leaders say they have a religious mandate to wipe out Israel and impose Islamic law on everyone. How would you negotiate with their leaders and what is your plan for fighting terrorism?

Question 8: Some of you say Russia is the greatest existential threat and others name China. Russia has been supporting the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad and the crumbling dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela. Russia has also sent a warship to Cuba. How would you oppose Russia’s adventurism and China’s expansionism? How would you deal with China spying on us?

Question 9 (for Sen. lowlife-Kamala Harris): You attacked loose lips liar-Joe Biden for working with segregationist senators during his time in the Senate. He (and Lyndon Johnson, who pushed through significant civil rights legislation in the ‘60s) said it was necessary in order to accomplish anything. If you were in the Senate at that time, would you have refused to work with those senators, possibly scuttling significant legislation that has led to improvements in the lives of many Americans, including African Americans?

Question 10: There have been 60 million abortions in America since the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than five times as likely as white women to have an abortion. Does this trouble you? Follow-up: Some states allow babies to die if they survive an abortion and some call that infanticide. Are you opposed to that practice?

These questions and others might have provided more useful information to the public than the ones tossed at the candidates. As I say, though, it is unlikely I will ever have a chance to ask them and the network stars won’t either.  ~The Patriot Post
