FBI email chain may provide most 

damning evidence of FISA abuses yet

{thehill.com} ~ Just before Thanksgiving, House Republicans amended the list of documents they’d like President Trump to declassify in the Russia investigation... With little fanfare or explanation, the lawmakers, led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), added a string of emails between the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to their wish list. Sources tell me the targeted documents may provide the most damning evidence to date of potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), evidence that has been kept from the majority of members of Congress for more than two years. The email exchanges included then-FBI Director scumbag-James Comey, key FBI investigators in the Russia probe and lawyers in the DOJ’s national security division, and they occurred in early to mid-October, before the FBI successfully secured a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The email exchanges show the FBI was aware — before it secured the now-infamous warrant — that there were intelligence community concerns about the reliability of the main evidence used to support it: the Christopher Steele dossier. The exchanges also indicate FBI officials were aware that Steele, the former MI6 British intelligence operative then working as a confidential human source for the bureau, had contacts with news media reporters before the FISA warrant was secured. Kraninger to run consumer finance agency

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ The Senate confirmed Kathy Kraninger Thursday to be the new director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, replacing Trump budget director Mick Mulvaney... in the important post responsible for overseeing mortgages, credit cards, payday loans, and other financial products. Kraninger was confirmed in a party-line vote, 50 to 49. In the role, Kraninger, who lacks experience in finance, is expected to carry out the Trump administration's agenda for lightening regulatory burdens. Democrats opposed her fiercely on the grounds that she would undercut the purpose of the agency, which was designed by then-Harvard law professor Elizabeth dinky-Warren and signed into law by former President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama to regulate consumer finance.Industry groups praised Kraninger's confirmation. “We’re pleased to have a new permanent director leading the BCFP, as credit unions and other parts of the financial services marketplace need stability at the bureau,” said Jim Nussle, the president and CEO of the Credit Union National Association, in a statement...

be about to drop, and Comey’s smack in the middle

{bizpacreview.com} ~ Bombshell emails uncovered by The Hill‘s John Solomon show that top DOJ and FBI officials under Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s former FBI director scumbag-James Comey... engaged in a willful, organized scheme to defraud the FISA court in order to illegally spy on the 2016 Trump campaign. “According to newly uncovered emails, we now know the basis for this bogus FISA warrant was the scumbag/liar-Clinton-bought and paid-for Dirty Dossier,” said Fox News host Sean Hannity. “scumbag-James Comey — along with other top DOJ and FBI officials — knew the evidence presented in the dossier was shady.” Despite their skepticism about the sham dossier, scumbag/liar-nObama holdovers in the FBI under  scumbag-Comey’s direction used the dossier to support their requests for FISA warrants in order to spy on Trump campaign aides, notably Carter Page. The FBI also knew that the dossier’s author — discredited former British spy Christopher Steele — planted stories in the media in order to buttress the bogus claims made in the dossier, which was paid for by scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton‘s 2016 campaign. The FBI then used this circular reporting to bolster its sham FISA application in order to illegally spy on the 2016 Trump campaign. The FBI never revealed to the FISA court that the dossier was paid for by scumbag/liar-Hillary’s camp and that the dossier’s author, Christopher Steele, passionately hated Donald Trump. Those are serious omissions. Sean Hannity summed it up... Now we know why dirty cop-Mueller is going after Trump and his associates.

Western Europe Is On The Edge of The Abyss

{lidblog.com} ~ Something is happening in Western Europe that in some ways seems too big to describe... Readers will be aware of the situation in France, where popular discontent about President Emanuel Macron’s policies has reached a critical point, and street demonstrations are turning violent. But it’s more than that. There’s a sort of uncanny alignment going on, and at a time that could hardly be more crucial. The impending event that makes it so crucial is getting very little coverage in the Western media. Few in the West, outside of those who are despised for speaking unfashionably of their opposition to “globalism,” even understand its significance. The event is the 12 December signing of the UN Global Compact on Migration, now just eight days away. The U.S. will not be signing the compact, and other nations that stayed in the negotiations for it to the end are now starting to rethink it. But dozens of nations, including those of Western Europe, remain committed. The substance of the migration compact is recognizing migration as a “human right.” The implication of that is profound, although people who articulate the implication are routinely disparaged and ridiculed. But the implication is inescapable. If migration is a “human right,” then it overrides the protection of national borders and the idea of sovereign nationhood itself. We comment on the abruptly-changing news cycle... how stories are so compelling for a day and then fade to nothing the next day. We discuss the Khashoggi murder and Trump's expressed doubt that it was ordered by the Saudi Crown Prince in spite of his own CIA's declaration that it was. My position is that Trump wants to preserve his alliance with the Saudis against Iran and choosed to overlook the murder. Mark believes the US must stand against what the Saudis did more forcefully. We discuss midterm election results locally -- in Maine and New Hampshire. Dems swept out Republicans in both states. We both decry the new "ranked choice" voting system in Maine which took a victory away from Republican congressman Bruce Poloquin. We look at recently-published UN and NOAA scare reports on global warming. Mark is a true believer in human-caused climate change and I'm not. We go at it for a while. I bring up a Census report on immigrants both legal and illegal on welfare -- two out of three are on it and stay on it indefinitely. I contrast that with immigration prior to the 1965 "reform" when no immigrants could access welfare and were the responsibility of their sponsors. We close with reflections on George H.W. Bush. Climate Alarmists' Chicken Little Routine Over New CO2 Report

by Thomas Gallatin:  “We are in trouble. We are in deep trouble with climate change,” UN Secretary General António Guterres declared at the UN climate conference in Poland this week. He added, “It is hard to overstate the urgency of our situation. Even as we witness devastating climate impacts causing havoc across the world, we are still not doing enough, nor moving fast enough, to prevent irreversible and catastrophic climate disruption.” What exactly the “havoc across the world” caused by “devastating climate change” actually was, he didn’t elaborate on.

             It is exactly this type of hyperbolic pontificating — which relies on dubious computer-simulated climate models that have never accurately predicted the future global climate — that causes so many logically minded individuals to simply roll their eyes at the absurdity. We have less than 10 years left to prevent catastrophe, the climate alarmists declare. Wait, wasn’t New York City supposed to be underwater due to completely melted polar ice caps by now? What are alarmists going to be telling us 10 years from now?
               Of course, global warming is all the fault of mankind  people, because of human activity leading to increased levels of carbon dioxide. Never mind the fact that carbon dioxide only accounts for 0.04% of earth’s atmospheric gasses and that water vapor is a bigger contributor to the planet’s climate. And don’t focus on the primary source of earth’s temperatures, the sun, because, well, human activity can’t be blamed for what’s happening on the surface of the sun. No, we’re supposed to ignore all these greater, vastly more significant factors that most directly contribute to global temperatures and instead blame human industry, made that much more efficient by capitalism. Destroying free-market capitalism is the real agenda.
               Indeed, limiting human industrial freedom that capitalism unlocks is exactly what the Paris climate agreement aimed to accomplish. It’s a wealth-redistribution scheme covered in the veneer of “science” and concern for preventing “catastrophic climate change,” as if limiting capitalistic enterprise and promoting the politics of globalist socialism is the only solution to a “problem” that alarmists continue to get wrong.
               Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency plans to roll back Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s coal-killing environmental regulations. The EPA’s new proposed coal-plant-emissions standard would allow up to 1,900 pounds of carbon dioxide per megawatt-hour, which is up from  scumbag/liar-nObama’s 1,400 limit. As Reuters notes, “That  scumbag/liar-nObama rule would have forced new plants to install carbon capture equipment that is not yet commercially available.” Which is why scumbag/liar-nObama’s rule effectively killed coal-powered plants.
               Despite all this fearmongering, it is the U.S. — not a signatory to the Paris agreement the rest of the world’s emitters — that is leading the world in reducing emissions. Keep that in mind the next time we’re told we’re not doing enough.  ~The Patriot Post
