{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh survived a critical procedural vote in the Senate on Friday with help from Sens. rino-Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., and rino-Susan Collins, R-Maine... but his fate was still unclear as rino-Collins said she would reveal at 3 p.m. whether she can support Kavanaugh in a final vote that's expected in the coming days. The Senate voted 51-49 to end debate on the nominee, setting up a final vote on the nominee. But the vote came with surprises — Sen. rino-Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, voted against Kavanaugh, but she was offset by Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., who voted with Republicans. The nomination is still on a knife's edge, given that rino-Collins' final position is still not known, and rino-Flake showed last week he has the potential to be flipped at the last minute. Still, Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., said Republicans are confident they will have the minimum 50 votes needed to confirm Kavanaugh. “We feel good,” Thune told reporters Friday. “Hopefully everybody stays on the team. I think that will be the case.” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., called Kavanaugh “a nominee of the very highest caliber,” and he condemned “the absolutely disgraceful spectacle of the past two weeks,” which have included a string of accusations against Kavanaugh dating back to high school and college...

Graham: dummycrats-dens Efforts
to Delay Kavanaugh Confirmation

{freebeacon.com} ~ Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) said Thursday that he is ready to vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation... and that continued delays and accusations are meant to "humiliate" the nominee. "They've humiliated this guy enough and there seems to be no bottom," Graham told reporters after the release of an FBI report from a week-long, supplemental background check into misconduct allegations. Many dummycrats-Democrats–even some who said a one-week investigation would be sufficient–have criticized the report, saying not enough witnesses were interviewed. "It wasn't an investigation, it was nine interviews," Rep. Cheri Bustos (D., Ill.) said on Thursday afternoon. Graham has defended the FBI probe, saying "I’m confident the FBI did a good job. They were not hindered in any way."...

dummycrats-DNC Lawyer Michael Sussman Was Providing
FBI Information For Trump Investigation and FISA Warrant

{theconservativetreehouse.com} ~ After initially stating a dummycrats-DNC lawyer was a source of information to the FBI for use in their counterintelligence operations against the Trump campaign... the name of the lawyer from the dummycrats-DNC law firm of Perkins Coie has now been revealed as Michael Sussmann. According to Catherine Herridge reporting  testimony from former FBI legal counsel James Baker revealed that Michael Susmann, representing the liar-Clinton team, was feeding information to the FBI for use against the trump campaign. While this is an explosive confirmation, it is not necessarily surprising. In March and April 2016, around the same time when NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers was shutting down “contractor access” to FBI and NSA databases an effort to stop the frequent FISA-702(16)(17) search abuses that were taking place, Michael Sussmann met with FBI Counsel James Baker – Global Privacy Summit, April 5th, 2016. Researcher TWE put a lot of the details of how Sussmann lines-up within the larger story on a twitter thread. With his former DOJ national security credentials Michael Sussmann integrated himself with the dummycrats-DNC’s cyber security team; and following the dummycrats-DNC ‘hack’ aka Seth Rich leak. Sussmann  introduced the dummycrats-DNC to CrowdStrike. The  dummycrats-DNC goal was to identify the intrusion and the extent of the compromise...

CAIR Must Stand Trial for Fraud

{wnd.com} ~ A consumer fraud case against one of the nation’s best-known Muslim advocacy groups, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, will go to trial early next year... A federal court in Washington, D.C., denied a motion by CAIR on Wednesday to dismiss a case brought by five Muslims who claim they were victims of a CAIR staffer who falsely claimed to be an attorney and mishandled their cases. Citing CAIR documents showing there were hundreds of victims of the staffer, Morris Days, the lawsuit alleges CAIR knew of the fraud and conspired to hide it from the victims. Represented by the American Freedom Law Center, the plaintiffs charge breach of fiduciary duty and common law fraud along with violations of Virginia’s statutory consumer fraud. David Yerushalmi, the lead counsel, noted that in its dismissal of the motion, the court found CAIR’s purported lawyer undoubtedly committed consumer fraud, common law fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. “The only question for the jury is whether CAIR is liable as the employer for its lawyer’s fraudulent behavior,” the attorney said. “Given CAIR’s cover-up and public admissions, that question will not be a difficult one for the jury.”...

What Kavanaugh Brouhaha is Really About
by DAVID LIMBAUGH

{wnd.com} ~ Those on the political left wouldn’t be fighting to the death over the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation if they were as committed to the Constitution and the rule of law as conservatives are. All of their phony hand-wringing is particularly ironic given their cynical attitude toward the Supreme Court’s role.

They are pulling out all the stops to delay – and thus defeat – the confirmation because they are hysterically obsessed foremost with preserving the court’s judicially manufactured precedent in Roe v. Wade of a constitutional right to abortion. There is nothing in the Constitution even remotely hinting of such a federally protected right, but the left is as adamant about protecting it as you would expect a mother to be about protecting the health and welfare of her children.

Kavanaugh, they contend, would gut this pseudo-sacred leftist sacrament, and women would be thereafter relegated to back-alley abortions, to paraphrase the late senator and moral exemplar Ted Kennedy. Kavanaugh, just one of countless millions of white misogynists, would strip women of their holy prerogative to terminate the lives of their own unborn offspring. What a savage.

Forget leftists’ twisted views on abortion. Just look at their view of the high court. It is not an institution dedicated to upholding the Constitution and rule of law above all else. Its job is not to interpret laws and to review legislation to ensure that it conforms to the Constitution as written and as originally understood. It must be an unelected super-legislature that makes laws to advance the leftist policy agenda when the democratically elected Congress fails to pass laws promoting that agenda.

To the left, a Supreme Court justice who refuses to serve as one of nine super-legislators dedicated to the leftist cause is betraying his sacred duty, not to the Constitution but to the much higher calling of protecting this agenda. Thus, a justice who would vote to repeal a judicially declared right unwarranted by any rational interpretation of the Constitution is the activist, not the justice who votes to preserve such a right or create one out of whole cloth. It is so backward it makes your head spin.

Interestingly, Judge Kavanaugh has not made clear that he would vote to repeal Roe. He has insisted that he values highly the principle of stare decisis – that previous decisions of the court, especially long-standing ones, should not be lightly overturned.

Leftists will scratch, claw, bite and kick to block all originalist Supreme Court nominees because they can’t be relied on to protect the leftist judicial legislation. And they dare lecture us on threats to the integrity of “our democracy”? They must protect us from ogres such as Brett Kavanaugh, who has spent his entire professional life honoring the integrity of the Constitution.

They don’t care a whit about the truth or falsity of the allegations made against Kavanaugh, and this is obvious not just from their daily displays of disingenuousness and gross abuse of this confirmation process – including grotesquely exploiting and manipulating Christine Blasey Ford’s story about Kavanaugh’s sexually assaulting her – but in their overall cynical philosophy about America’s highest court and its Constitution.

They tell us they want further investigations of Kavanaugh when their real aim is to defeat the confirmation through endless delays and flagrant abuse of their advise and consent role. The dummycrats-Democrats, almost to a person, have pre-announced that they will vote against confirmation, so please don’t insult our intelligence by suggesting they’re only extending the investigation for fact-finding purposes.

The
dummycrats-Democrats’ opposition to Kavanaugh has nothing to do with Kavanaugh and has everything to do with their lust for power through the judicial branch that they can’t reliably acquire through democratic processes.

As usual, they claim they have the moral high ground when they are making a mockery of morality and the rule of law. But I’ll give them one thing: They are formidable and tireless warriors. And until the GOP recognizes this and unites against them with the same degree of ferocity, determination and energy, we will continue taking it on the chin.

Sen. rino-Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., has been a major disappointment in this sordid saga, as in others, but I pray that the others hold together if he flakes out and that even a few
dummycrats-Democrats do the noble thing and split from their party in favor of the Constitution.
