A Letter to Two Senators Stirs Passions

Late last night I got on another letter-writing binge, and inflicted a harangue on my two Senators here in Georgia.  I doubt if I'll hear from them, as usual, but the response I got from a number of people was very positive, some asking to use it to send to theirs, one of them being the chairman of the GOP in this area.  On that note, I thought I'd post it here, and let you good people be the judge.

Dear Senator;  It is beyond incredible to me that there exists in our hallowed halls of Congress such capitulation and outright malfeasance regarding the most egregious and astounding acts of criminality, treason and abrogation of the Rule of Law by this current administration, and that our elected representatives sit idly, silently by.  We have entrusted you with our safety, our rights, our liberties, and our freedoms, and you continue to act as if you were only small actors given a piecemeal role in an inconsequential play put on by children.
With the positions you hold on the various committees of the Senate, it is completely incomprehensible to me and a great many other of your constituents that you allow the evisceration of our military to go unimpeded by an entire host of very bad actors...the most important one being an individual who holds claim to the Presidency of the United States, yet acts at every turn as an enemy, a tyrant and a despot.
I am reserving the use of harsh words...I am merely pointing out the obvious, as you apparently have lost the ability to see the forest for the trees, ensconced as you are in that cesspool of corruption we know to be Washington, DC.
Apparently, the timeless ruse of cajoling folks to "go along to get along" has worked again, to our extreme detriment.  Your silence has been deafening...and I don't believe an MSM blackout will work as an excuse.  We pay a whole lot more attention than you think for that to work.
The litany of abuses is beginning to rival that of our Declaration of Independence.  You might try reviewing it again...and I don't mean to appear snide, but if you haven't noticed any correlation between then and now, you are obviously NOT PAYING ATTENTION.
If a sitting President announced that he would just bypass Congress because they won't capitulate to his whims, would you remain silent?
If a sitting President had been found in contempt of a Federal Court numerous times, would you remain silent?
If a sitting President and his Department of Justice were found to be complicit in some of the most incredible, illegal usurpations of the Rule of Law, would you remain silent?
YOU HAVE  (Let's not forget the New Black Panthers' voter-intimidation case, the Fast and Furious "gun-walking" travesty, the drilling moratoriums, ad nauseum)
A sitting President has wasted billions upon billions of taxpayer money on fraudulent schemes, far outside of his Constitutional constraints, while rewarding his friends and campaign "bundlers" and insists on wasting more, and where has your voice been?
A sitting President has done everything in his power to destroy the engine of free-market capitalism, vetoed job-creation and innovation, and where has your voice been?  Besides a petulant newsletter mention...NOWHERE.
We are all entitled to our own opinions...we are not entitled to our own facts.  I have presented nothing but FACTS to you here...abbreviated atrociously in the vain hope you will read this through before rolling your eyes and discarding it.
We have now come into a time where we shall either live as free-men, or die as slaves to an international behemoth not of our own making.  This will be the last chance we have to determine the outcome of that question.  You can cajole yourselves with the absurdity and conjecture that only politicians can produce to make themselves feel a sort of vindication for their inactions, or you can rise to the occasion, don the mantle of responsibility that was given to you by your fellow citizens, and help us get these criminals out of office, out of the public trust, and into the prison they alone so richly deserve.
We are not only watching closely, we have been rather busy.  The actions you take will vindicate ours, in one way or another.  You must decide if you are going to continue to be part of the problem, or part of the solution.  We WILL return to the Constitutional Rule of Law, or we will join the other failed nations of history, and your names will be featured on the headstone, as well.

For obvious reasons here, I have not included my personal contact information that is required when contacting one or all of your reps.  Point being, getting the attention of our elected officials is of paramount importance, but it does little good when they refuse to listen to begin with.  We know that this is where a great deal of our problems lay, and while we still have the ability to contact our reps with our thoughts and grievances, we'd better be doing it while we can.  It's only one tool we have, but we've got to use them all, and do so effectively.  You just never know...I may get an answer.

  • Well said. My sentiments exactly!

  • Great letters, James. I'm with you on each and every count.

We must all do everything we can to turn this train around.

  • do we have permission to copy/paste and send to the Senators AND Congressional Reps from OUR state?  I don't want to violate any copyright statutes but I DO want all of my incumbents (even though I am running against one of them in the GOP Primary) to get this same message!!! -Al Mickle, mickleca@yahoo.com, FB: Al Mickle For Congress, www.almickle.com, www.almickle2012.com. 205-249-0696

  • we sould copy this and send it to all our Congressmen, especially the Rep. candidates, they are not talking about the real issue this letter saids it all amen

  • Not to mention running away from our subpoena in our Georgia case. At present I have Obama's attorney trying to take advantage of very twist and turn to avoid our case reaching the appeals court when he and his client simply turned they backs and ran out of ours. It is truly pathetic.

But the far , far more serious question every Tea Party supporter should be asking their elected representatives right now is do the support our American Birthright by supporting a Two-Citizenship Parent Rule as it applies to a natural born Citizen?

Your American Birthright is what makes you a free citizen in a constitutional republic rather than a subject to a greater sovereign.   At present, U.S. Immigration laws have already fundamentally changed the very basis of our American birthright.

Only free, sovereign individuals can actually make a public choice to put down their own allegiances, or give up their former allegiances and pledge fidelity, not to this country, but to a group of words written down on some parchment, and, thus, become themselves free sovereign Citizens in our Constitutional Republic. If the state has the power to bestow this birthright on anyone at birth who happens to be born within the territorial boundaries of the United States, we are no longer free citizens but merely subjects to a greater sovereign than our collective selves. If we don't make a determined stand NOW, any person who happens to be born within our boarders without regard to the citizenship status of their parents, are not only U.S. citizens, but "natural born" U.S. Citizens, fully qualified to become the Commander in chief of all our armed forces as a matter of settled law.

  • Perfectly pointed, loved it, thank you! We are challenging Obama’s eligibility to be on the ballot here in PA.  Wish us luck!  God Bless.

  • Excellent Post James!!

  • Bravo James!!! I think you should also write one about the $8.3 billion sellout. I'm from Pennsylvania and we just filed our objection to him being on the ballot but I suspect our industrious leaders will also sell out (just a matter of how much money they can extort). They have started implementing the insurance exchanges even though we are one of the states fighting the constitutionality. Anyway, I believe that as long as the dems hold the Senate, nothing will get done.

  • Well written!  My sentiments are the same as yours.  I've contacted my congresswoman Sandy Adams, here in Florida numerouse times regardig Obama's ineligiblity to be President of the U.S.A. based on our Constitution.  Section 2, Paragraph 1, 5th paragraph.  A president must be a "Natural Born Citizen".   When the constitution was written, it meant one must be born to parents that were born in the U.S.A. also.  An 1875 Supreme Court decision explains that clause, stating anyone born here and only one parent was born here, and the other was not, is considered a Native Born person.  Obama already admits his father was born overseas in Kenya.  Therefore he does not qualify for the position of President and should be impeached.  Also, in the last 3 years of his presidency, 6 attemps have been made to change the verbiage of our constitution.  5 by Democrats and 1 by a Republican, thankfully ALL have failed.  That tells me our congress knows he is illegal, but none of the whimps in Congress have the courage or backbone to do something about it!  All Sandy Adams sends as replies, it that Obama was born here and that makes him a Natural Born Citizen which is wrong and untrue.  Blatently Untrue.   I refuse to vote for her again.  She has joined the other useless pinheads we have in congress and the senate.  Anyone here in Florida reading this, I hope you will contact her yourself and see the lame response that you receive back.  Do your research first as I have done, you will find the 6 attemps on U-Tube also.  God Bless America!

  •  Shirley I feel your Pain as I am surrounded by the liberal swamp in Massachusetts funny too this is where it all happened where we freed ourselves from the King. I guess things go full circle and "We The People" will have to do it again.
