A call to prayer

By Neil Brian

It is another day in the Big Apple. Traffic is moderate to heavy — a
normal weekday. Taxis are scurrying to drop off and pick up new fares.
Buses are lumbering through the crowded streets making their usual

Central Park is sporting its newest colors of the season, and it is
still fair weather. The ducks are swimming in the big pond, the nannies
and kids are enjoying the grass, the joggers are running by, and the
old bag lady is feeding the pigeons.

The subways are rumbling, the drunks are stumbling, the guys with the
squeegees and water cans are making out well wherever the red light
allows, as they squirt and wash the windshields hoping for a few coins.
The horse-drawn carriages, the museums, the million different styles
and fashions, sounds, smells, and musicians begging on the streets with
their music — some of it is great.

What a city is New York, the greatest city in the world — nowhere like
it. And somehow, with all of the changing faces, races, skyscapes, and
places, it still remains basically the same.

. . . until the appointed hour, when a completely new sound fills the
air — loud and piercing — no, not of many sirens. They, too, are a
normal part of the greatest city.

No, this is something different. This is something which does not just
irritate the ears as a loud siren or squealing of brakes. This is an
assault — an insult — something which not only pierces the ears, but the
heart and the inner spirit of freedom and national identity itself.

It is the call to prayer, wafting over the gaping reminder of America's
great and tragic loss of the Battle of 9/11 — reminding us that, for
some reason, this festering wound, this source of pain and shame and
frustration, still remains before us, untended in our minds and our

. . . and now, the same government which failed to take heed of the many
warnings which could have stopped the attacks; the government that
refuses to rebuild as a showing of great fortitude and non-acceptance of
defeat — this same invisible hand has now made arrangements for this
terrifying sound — this loud, piercing, heart-rending, and INFURIATING
sound — to blare, to scream, to so loudly proclaim far and wide:

per day, seven days per week, fifty-two weeks per year."

". . . and now, six times a day, we will assert our rights, according to
your own Constitution — here on the site of 9/11! — to freely practice
our religion, to freely speak our minds, and to freely protest and take
part in all of your liberties, until the day when we finally succeed in
seducing your nation, as we have so many others to the tipping point
when we will have succeeded little by little to institute our own Sharia
Law — which then, of course, will have not a speck of tolerance for any
of these freedoms that we have used to capture and enslave you."

I don't think so, Mohammed.

With no disrespect for the Muslim people now in America, and for those
who see no reason why anyone should be against the building of a new
mosque, still the basic unarguable question remains, why at Ground Zero .
. . and why at this time?

My completely rational and absolutely accurate assertion remains — that a
mosque at Ground Zero is an act of psychological warfare, and
intentionally so.

Am I complaining about mosques in other areas? No. (Though some may be
seditious and should be watched.) Am I accusing all Muslims of being
enemies? No. (Though some trained marauders are here to do harm and
should be watched.)

Let's peek just a little into the future. A huge and glorious mosque is
to be built at Ground Zero, and . . . as is the custom, what is it?
Six times a day? The amplified "Call to Prayer" is sent out in every
direction, loud and clear. It will be a simple, usual prayer of calling
the faithful, but the true translation and message would be:

"The Grand Mosque of Islam is here, and your great skyscrapers are gone.
Praise to Allah. Victory to Islam!"

. . . and, let's look even a bit further into the possible future, when
an impostor, a Trojan Horse man, posing as a legitimate president and
loyal American, describes in this grand mosque his conversion to Islam,
with the huge speakers outside delivering the message. "America has
fallen to Islam (not in so many words of course) and Sharia Law is

Building such a mosque, exactly at Ground Zero, at this time remains in
my mind a purposeful act of not only psychological warfare, but of
spiritual and metaphysical warfare as well. And again I say, with no
reservations whatsoever, intentionally so! . . . the forerunner
of a much larger danger, signifying the beginning of the end of all that
America is meant to be.

This proposal, this unfolding plan, and every move involved in bringing
it about is, in my mind, a planned and purposeful act of subtle, yet
potent war on the freedom of the American people — beginning with the
taking away of our freedom to feel peace and safety in our own greatest
city, the freedom not to be psychologically hounded and terrorized by
enemies whom we know we can defeat, but who have already defeated the
weaklings inside our own government.

Some very intelligent people will disagree. Many will be young people,
full of passion for their beliefs — so very sure of their astute
conclusions based on their mental prowess and precise logic, believing
they are sincere and only standing for reason and justice, but what such
youth does not yet have is considerable life experience, the experience
that only time and struggle can bestow.

One must not bow to ideas and demands for justice, freedom, and equality
put forward by those who declare themselves our enemies — those who
never allow any of these blessings of liberty, once they have used them
to seduce and then enslave sincere, good-hearted people like those of

Some call these Jihadists (by their own definition) "Freedom Fighters,"
but there is no freedom anywhere where they have worked their way in and
now rule.

I remain and will remain absolutely opposed to this giant mosque — and
all that will come with it — ever being built over the gaping atrocity
of the 9/11 crater.

. . . and now back to the title of this article —

A CALL TO PRAYERfor America:

Almighty, wonderful God, we come to you now in our hour of need. We
thank you, Lord, for the wonderful country you gave us. We thank you
for the freedoms, the abundance, and the security we have enjoyed for so
long under your kind grace.

And we apologize, Heavenly Father, for our neglect, and for the many
sins done in your sight. We are sorry that we have gone so far astray
from your ways, and now we see the fruits of our disrespect: our
gluttony, our addictions, our neglect of our responsibilities to family,
to friends, and to our precious freedoms.

Now we find ourselves reaping the harvest of loss, confusion, turmoil,
and even poverty, which we ourselves have sown by our own actions and
our own neglect. Even those of us who knew better have lost our angry
voice of moral outrage — allowing all of these destructive things to
occur, and caring more about our own well-being and security than the
truth, and the unavoidable consequences it demands — even aside from
religious convictions, we should have known better on the simple level
of cause and effect, the immutable laws of nature, which you yourself,
Lord, have set in motion since the beginning of the world.

. . . but we also know that only you, dear Holy One, are beyond these
laws of nature, and that your mighty power, and your perfect love, are
eternal and ever new.

We The People of these United States do now come to you, mighty and
wonderful Lord, on our knees and in great humility — begging you for our
country back. Begging you, oh Heavenly Father, to forgive, and to
restore your America back to its destined place in the world: as the
beacon of freedom, goodness, justice, abundance, and awesome power — all
for your purposes only.

We call out to you, Lord, to keep your promise to hear this call from
your abode in the heavens, and that you will take pity on your lost
children here in America and "Heal our land." Drive out the corruption
in these coming elections, break the spine of the atrocious evils now
taking root in our land.

Destroy and root out child pornography, and all other pornography, human
slavery, the murders of untold numbers of your divine little ones, and
prevent and break the power of those purposely fomenting racial strife
and hatred — pitting your children one against the other, here in the
land of the free. Help us to change as a people, and to increasingly
remember you.

We thank you and praise you in advance, our precious and awesome God,
who still loves America, and waits only for us to return to you.

How great thou art — our King, our Savior — our mighty God. Amen.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.
