COMMON CORE = COMMUNIST CRAP

The latest push to shove the federal Common Core Curriculum down states throats via the threat of ending federal funding to those states that do not implement it has hit Florida. The state legislature is currently in committee writing legislation to implement it and make it state law. I am not going to argue the merits of the Common Core as a viable education model because the jury is still deliberating its content and methodology. What I am going to discuss and emphasize is the…

Return of Conserative America

We can rant and rave and remain "divided" or we can start with one issue at a time and become as one in making our decisions for the future elections. Divided we fall, united we shall eventually overcome "hopefully."

Welcome to Ameri'k'a!

Well we let the great unwashed win the election. Who among you thinks that we will ever take America back?

Dee, what can I say? We've got a Muslim President who controls our Democratic Congress. If we don't win America back in the next election, America is lost!

Restoring America: One Political Race, One Conservative Candidate at a Time.

Upon our brief return to our home in Florida, Sammy, our greyhound gave me a ho-hum look and retired to his doggie-bed; not the excited welcome home I expected after being away for over a month. I fear the house-sitter has stolen the affection of my dog.

Glad to be Here!

This is just a first, test blog post.  I'm just trying to get a feel for the place, and look around a bit.  I've been over at TPC for a few months now, and Deanna gave this place a shout, so I decided to come over and look around.

I'll be back later to tell you all a little more about myself, and why I'm becoming active in the Tea Party.  Until then, thanks for the invitation, and thanks for this very compelling site.  I hope to get to know you all better in the coming days. …

Australian Gun Law Update.

From Ed Chenel, a police officer in Australia

Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down Under... It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:

Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent, Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent;…

Will The Bombing Victims Take a Back Seat?

Talk about Yogi Berra's famous line, “It's deja vu all over again”, have you noticed the similarity in how the mainstream media is portraying suspected marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and the way they portrayed Trayvon Martin? In both cases, the media blasted a much younger angelic photo of each young man, in essence, misrepresenting who they…

Million Man Impeach Obama March on DC...September 11, 2013

It would have to be a million.  I recently read that if 5000 or 10000 stood up against the tyranny it would bring on martial law.  But, if all the conservative groups joined together:  Tea Party, NRA. followers of Rush, Beck, Hannity, and many others, joined together do you think we could come up with 1 million.  It is time to organize and act.  Where does one begin?

Federal Crimes

I certainly appreciate Dee bringing to our attention, via the Internet, the unreasonable and, certainly, criminal actions of the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of the federal government, and the politicians, political appointees, and bureaucrats who are responsible for implementing these actions in contravention to the federal rulebook, our sacred U.S. Constitution.  But the crimes that have yet to be officially called crimes, like Libya, Benghazie, and "Operation Fast and…

Henry Kissinger talked about your individual rights gone!

These “people”, the globalists always tell you in advance what they are planning. Their plans are generational in the planning and implementation.

To wit:

“Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world…

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
