Moderate Republicans reject ‘We the People’

By Oscar Y. Harward

It was June, 2014 at the Virginia State Convention when  conservatives ousted House Majority Leader, Eric Cantor from his US House GOP leadership.  There was a message delivered; however, most Capitol Hill leaders failed to catch on and continued to ignore it.

At that time, and even today, moderate GOP Washington leaders continue to reject ‘We the People’ on critical issues including stopping ‘illegal’ immigration,…

HEALTHCARE REFORM - WILL SPEAKER RYAN SCHEDULE THESE BILLS FOR VOTE?

Just perused Sanford's HR 1072 and Rand Paul's S 222.

Almost identical bills in House and Senate, they totally repeal Obamacare.

They introduce:

HSA Health Savings Accounts

Small business associations for the purpose of obtaining healthcare group rates

Medicaid would be administered by the states

Some amendments should be added at last minute for women's issues like the Ryan plan

Freedom Caucus, the Republican conservative group…

RINO McCain

Arizona senator John McCain has worked tirelessly to thwart President Trump and the rule of law in our country. In these past two months McCain has denigrated Trump overseas in a fashion that even surpasses the Democrats innuendo and lies about our President. Claiming that even Congress is not to be trusted  in investigating the supposed Russian meddling, which has been debunked by the past administration and members of the intelligence community, he has thrown the members of the Congress…

Yikes !!! Ocasio-Cortez: We Need A ‘Multigendered, Multigeographic’ United States

The United States of America needs to be “multigendered” and “multigeographic,” according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who endorsed fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) at the “Bernie’s Back Rally” in New York on Saturday.

The freshman lawmaker and “Squad” member officially endorsed Sanders during a rally in Queensbridge Park in Long Island City, New York, on Saturday and called for more diversity in the U.S., arguing that it should not only be “multiracial” and “multigenerational” but “multigeographic” and “multigendered.”

“We need a United States that really, truly, and authentically is operated, owned, and decided by working – and all – people in the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said to applause.

“That is what it – it is multiracial, multigendered, multigenerational, and multigeographic,” she said, failing to elaborate on what that specifically looks like.

“We have to come together, not ignoring our differences but listening to them, prioritizing them, understanding injustice,” she continued.

The socialist lawmaker also implied that rampant racism is still alive and well in the U.S., telling the crowd that it is essential to understand “that we operate in a context where slavery evolved into Jim Crow, evolved into mass incarceration, [and] evolved into the realities we have today.”
