Most people are aware that Washington D.C. works on a “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” basis. It is a place of side deals, backroom deals, and eleventh-hour deals. All too often, Senators…Continue

America's One Political Party -- Corporate Cronyism

Americans seem divided.  On most every issue, the two political parties stand apart.  Yet when it comes to corporate cronyism, they always manage to come together for a bipartisan love-fest that…Continue

Will Republicans Let Schumer Impose Tax Hikes?

Posted on January 19, 2017 at 11:38am 0 Comments

Liberal New York Senator Chuck Schumer has brazenly declared that he will work with President Trump only if he stabs his fellow Republicans in the back.  In an interview with CNN, the Senate Minority Leader declared "The only way we're going to work with him is if he moves completely in our…

SpaceX Rocket Fueling Methods Raises Concerns for Taxpayers and Astronauts

Posted on November 15, 2016 at 9:35am 0 Comments

SpaceX, a government contractor, has had multiple launch failures that have cost the taxpayers millions.  Now comes a report that a NASA advisory group has raised concerns about the way SpaceX fuels rockets.  This should give government contracts pause and they might want to consider dropping SpaceX as a source of rocket launches for satellites in the…

Sen. Portman Bill Deserves Tea Party Support

Posted on July 20, 2016 at 11:30am 0 Comments

Today in America, we can’t even go a day without hearing a story about the IRS abusing its power and unjustly harassing American taxpayers. Perhaps the most famous case in recent memory is the IRS’s targeted campaign against Tea Party members. The IRS’s unjust and discriminatory actions led Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) to write successful pieces of legislation that curtailed the agency’s power, all of which were signed into law by President Obama.

In a further attempt to rein in the IRS’s…

Obama's War on Seniors

Posted on June 25, 2016 at 9:06am 2 Comments

Since 2009, the Obama Administration — whether intentionally or not — has been crippling the well-being of our senior citizens. Under the fiscal irresponsibility of Obama’s reign, inflation has risen by over 12%, leaving seniors on fixed incomes with less money in their wallets and purses. Last year, Obama’s budget deal extorted $150 billion from the Social Security trust fund in order to finance other areas of the budget. And now, Obama is planning his most egregious action yet — he wants…

Gohmert: Dems Will Drag Out Impeachment — Try To Get ‘Best Socialist’ Nominated For President

During an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN on Thursday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) offered his best assessment of what House Democrats were trying to accomplish with their impeachment efforts.

Gohmert told WVNN’s “The Jeff Poor Show” impeachment could tie up the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign efforts but predicted Democrats would use the occasion to nominate “the best socialist” they can.

“They would lose in the Senate,” Gohmert said on impeachment. “And besides that, the entire time it was on trial in the Senate, the Democrats who are running for president wouldn’t be allowed to campaign. That’s in the Constitution. They wouldn’t be able to campaign. I just can’t imagine them wanting to do that because if they send it to the Senate, they have now perfectly set up the scenario of 1996, where they will reassure Donald Trump is reelected as president. They don’t want to do that. They’re probably going to drag this thing out as long as they possibly can … through Iowa, through primaries — try to get the best socialist they can to be nominated.”

“Then just end up and say, ‘Now we’re close enough to the general election. We’ve thrown mud at the president through the House,’” he continued. “What they’re really doing — they’re using taxpayer funds to campaign against Trump. That’s all this is — a campaign fund that taxpayers are paying for in order to try to throw mud at the president. I’ll be surprised if they have that vote, but I can’t imagine they want to set up this president for reelection by having a trial in the Senate where they lose.”
