FROM THE DESK OF THE EXCPETIONAL CONSERVATIVE

     In the Black Church Season, there are really only three big revenue days: Easter, Mother’s Day and Christmas Eve.   Trust me, financially, it’s a long stretch between Mother’s Day and Christmas Eve.  In fact, your summer budget and finances is directly tied to the strength of performance on Mother’s Day.  This is Money Ball Day and everything must be executed without a hitch.  Mother’s Day adds a whole new meaning of being about your “Father’s business”.  You have lain out your schedule many months ago.  Besides your KJV app, your calendar app is your best friend.  On Monday, you met with the ministerial team to make certain that all sanctuary duties have been outlined, rehearsed and prepared for execution and that Wednesday Night Bible Study was covered.    You will need time to write your sermon.  On Tuesday morning, you met with Deacons and Trustees to make certain that membership invitation system has been operating smoothly for the past two weeks and that all expenses accounted.   On Tuesday evening, you oversaw the final practice of the Church’s All-Star Choir and Praise Leaders.  There won’t be any surprises from the orchestra this Sunday.  On Wednesday morning, you met with the Church Secretary to make certain that the bulletin is without grammatical or context error, flowers ordered, roses for Mothers ordered and that the First Lady’s needs have been attended.  Whew!  It’s Noon.  Everything is covered.  You can Rest in Perfect Peace with your Mind Stayed on Him!  Off to the Barber after lunch.  At 2:59 PM, you step in Raheem’s Hair Cuttery and a seat is made out of no way for you!  At 3:00 PM, you sit in the chair of the Master Barber and suddenly, a major News Break hits the TV:

     The Black Church has always been the communications bandwidth of the Community.  It was the unbridled passion of the Black Church that resisted the confines of slavery and Jim Crow Democrat Laws and pushed for Civil Rights through allegiance with the Republican Party.  It was easy to draw upon its heritage as it was founded by radicals like Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.  However, time and misery seems to oppress the greatest testaments of time.  Hope over time gave way to despair and Change seemed to fall upon the deaf ears of Heaven.  Pulpits that once proclaim the Victory of Christ became filled with proselytizers that promoted liberation based on the color of skin and raised the idealism that God would send ONE that would free us from the disdain of our with-holders.  Sermons framed in Patriotism, Liberty and Free Markets were replaced professions of Victimhood, Racial Indifference and Class Envy.

 

     By the 1970′s, Conservatives were vilified in the Black Church for the presentation of messages on Family Values.  The Republican Party became the enemy and the Democrat Party, the founders of the Ku Klux Klan, for the sake of welfare, entitlements and the redistribution of others wealth, became the friend.  However, the friend was merely a wolf in sheep’s clothing.  For the sake of a food stamp, a wink and a nod, the Democrat Party seized the liberal Black Church and strangled the Conservative Black Church.  Thanks LBJ for the 501 (c) 3.  Eventually, it was assumed that membership in the Black Church served as auxiliary membership in the Democrat Party.

They went from gay rights to Civil Rights; from gay marriage to marriage equality.  Anyone that knows anything about PR, knows that marketing is all about language and communications.  Politics is the ultimate form of marketing.

Pastor, you soon would only open your pulpit to Democrats.  The doctrine of Christ could then, only be heard through the voices of Democrats.  The Black Church was no longer about the “Father’s business” but about the “government funding business”.  The Message suffered.  The Community Suffered.  Men Left the Church as Their Goldy responsibilities  were Replaced by the “forces and provisions of government”.  Soon, limited to the participation of women, the Church became a place that depended on the assurances of government security, of privileges as rights and entitlements as life needs.  Morality and character became less of a concern of what is sacred and more of what is culturally convenient.  For many that remained, the understanding of Faith and politics became simple in discernment:  That which is expedient and affirmed of men is most practical and worthy of God’s Blessing.  However, there is something that causes the spirit that pursues the Spirit to become “rocked” in his soul.  The spirit that has consumed the Word of God understands the limits of mankind and the eternity of the Living God.  Even the heathen understands that there is One whom is Greater and must be confided.  This is always why it is most unsettling when Judgement first comes to the House.  That silence you heard in the Barber Shop is the moaning and groaning of the world awaiting you to become the Son of God.

1Cr 13:13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.

 

     There are some things that you do not know that you need to know before you speak from your pulpit on Sunday.  Your unrelenting support of Obama has equivocation to that of Jesus Christ in the eyes of even your most devout parishioners.  Such an equivocation was given to Barack Hussein Obama when you advised your sheep to vote for him.  That may or may not be your fault.  However, it is what it is.  You see at your pulpit, they first heard the Good News of Jesus Christ.  At your pulpit, they accepted His Words as Truth and you as the Messenger of Truth.  The Message and The Messenger was seared in their hearts as One.  At you pulpit, they were baptized and professed the Holy Spirit.  At your pulpit, they heard the moral doctrines of Faith.  At your pulpit, they watched the broken become healed and life renewed in your words and hymns.  The power God loans to you in the pulpit is held in reverance and awe.  Do you understand how important you have been to a liberal movemnet that sought only your power but none of its Godliness?

 

In a 1939 letter, [Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret] Sanger wrote, “The minister’s work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

 

Many, to this day, have more Faith and Trust in you than the Bible that they carry on Sunday morning.  It is sad but true.  Yet, the silence you heard Wednesday afternoon, God made certain that they heard too.  They are shocked.  They are in disbelief.  They are hurt.  They blame you.  I know you did not want to hear that part but it is truth.  On Sunday, before you blame men for leaving their responsibilities and putting women in harm’s way, you need to privately and publicly repent.  Such repentance should be before your fullest assembly.  You ask, “Repent from what?”  It is the omitted power of equivocation.  Your congregants believe now that you, the Man of God, would not have endorsed a man for public office that believes that marriage is not sacred but irreligious or ungodly.  That marriage is subject to human fallacy and interpretation and not origin-ed from the very Words of God.  Hence, some believe that there is no doctrinal requirement to promote the sacredness of marriage because there is a separation of Faith and State.  Hence, Sunday Only Christianity is acceptable in the sight of God.  Yeah, they got all of that and more in a simple statement from the President of the United States.  What is more?  You may need to prepare them for the unforgivable:  the Democrat Party will add Same-Sex Marriage to their Political Platform.  Whom will you serve?

 

     I write this knowing that many ministers did not go before the Father to ask for His permission to endorse President Obama.  I know this because you have probably done more vetting of an associate minister that will preach in your pulpit than the Press did of our own President.  You probably have spent more time designing your new sanctuary.  For some, I know that you accepted him because he had a “D” behind his name.  For some, it was because of the color of his skin.  There is too much at stake in America to keep this charade going.  Too many will suffer lack as a result of prideful commitment to false and manipulated allegiances.  By the way, Obama did not seek Spritual counsel before he announced what “Mankind” had told him to do.  Yeah, he called his Pastor after he made his decsision to “go forth”.  I guess you have never done that before.  In an unscientific poll taken on my face book website, the majority of persons responded, “Yes, it is wise for Men of God to admit error and to lead his flock in doctrine.”  The risk?  Already, in barber shops across the country, many are advising that they will not vote in this election.  They have the power but will not leave home to express it.  Imagine when they employ this silence in your temple on Sunday morning.  Voting with one’s morality (feet) can put quite a damper in doing the “Father’s business”.

     The Great Philosopher Confucius preached of governmental and personal morality, honorable social relationships, just living and sincerity.  He wrote, “In a country well-governed, poverty is something to be ashamed of.  In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of.”  This is the tale of two Presidential Administrations in the US and an impending calamity that will occur after the next Presidential election.  Under President George W. Bush, the nation was guided through the hymnal of shame at the excess of the wealthy.  It spurred many employed persons to complain that the wealthy ought to pay more taxes and be more fair with the distribution of their property.  The United States became ashamed of the large number of poor persons that were unable to find work (average unemployment rate for two terms was about 5%) and would have to live off of food stamps and welfare (28 million).  Today, President Barack Hussein Obama speaks of the poisonous “silver spoon” that has oppressed the poor and middle class.  Capitalism, under the Bush administration, has been a noose around the necks of those that have prospered outside of union manipulation, corrupted market systems and government sponsored endeavors.  Only a mighty stimulus will reward those that seek life, liberty and the pursuits of happiness  from the fountains of Central Planning Organizations.  Obama has clearly defined, for the masses of people that ride their BMW’s (Bus/Metro Train/Walk) to the Mall to watch TV since they can not afford the increased costs of utilities in their homes, that America’s greatest shame is not its poverty but its wealth.  The media continues its propaganda rantings about the economic successes of the current Administration.  However, more people than ever are out of work (greater than 8% today) and nearly twice as many people are living off of food stamps and welfare (47 million).  In the cabinet drawer of life, Obama’s disdain for the “silver spoon” of wealth creation has not been lost on his preference for the “golden spoon” of entitlement.  Confucius says, “Do not impose on others what you do not desire yourself.”  If Confucius were around today then, by the numbers, I believe that he would say that George Bush governed well in comparison to President Obama.  So whom wears this shame?  It is worn by the American citizens that empowered a economic neophyte to take the helm of the most powerful Nation in the world on the clandestine promise of “hope and change”!

     Let us be absolutely transparent.  TAXMAGGEDON is REAL.  It is a ruthless attempt to penalize those that will not vote the current president out of office.  Those that will suffer most will be those that he says he holds most dear: the poor and middle class.  Taxmaggedonis a $500 Billion Hammer that Obama and his Democrat Senate plans to throw at the heads of American taxpayers.  This added to the Sickle of Obama Care Taxes on the Red Background of our gloomy national deficit of $16 Trillion and you get a pretty good idea of the direction that class envy will take you.  Obama has always chosen class envy over prudent economic policy.  Class envy makes enemies of fiscal conservatives, appeasers of moderating Independents and Republicans in Name Only and moralists of Marxists, Socialists and Keynesian Theorists on Steroids.  In observance of the class envy, politicking in the US has changed.  It makes multimillionaire politicians feel as if they have to apologize for their success and at times, for the success of their ancestors.   There it is.  It is a shame to earn, inherit or invest wealth.  It must be given to you by the great bureaucrats of the ever expanding central government.  But Ken, I just filed my 2011 Tax Return.  Why are we even talking about this?  I believe that this moment warrants a sincere consideration of an immense and deadly financial tsunami that will soon broach the paychecks of laborers, the capital gains of investment portfolios and the philanthropic resources of non-profit agencies.

     For the “We Got You Back, Obama” clientele, nothing I proclaim will make sense to you.  Your answers are written on golden tablets buried beneath the Oak tree under which you slumber awaiting Obama to pay for your gas and your mortgage.  However, for those awakened by the fall of ACORNs, you will understand that absolute allegiance will cost you and your grandchildren a fortune.  Let’s start with the basics.  The Obama Tax Cuts will expire on December 31,2012.  Yes, the same man that brought you the infamous “Make Work Pay” Credit [STAND WITH THE WORKERS OF AMERICA.  USSA.  USSA.] is proud of his seventeen (17) small business tax cuts.  However, they too shall pass.  The Bush Tax Cuts will expire on December 31, 2012.  Despite what Madam Rachel tells you on MSLSD, the Bush Tax Cuts were more profitable for the poor and middle class than for the wealthy.

 

The report states that on Jan. 1 the doubling of the child tax credit, increased standard deductions and income credits and the creation of the 10 percent tax bracket — all of which primarily aimed at non-wealthy taxpayers — will vanish if gridlock persists in Washington.

While wealthier taxpayers pay more in taxes and stand to lose more money if the tax cuts expire, the impact on low-income taxpayers will be far greater because they live on slimmer margins.

Why do you say this, Ken?  Well, can you imagine being a Head of Household earning just $12,400 per year from your part time labor at Smokey’s Juke Joint ad watching the Federal government take 15% of your pay instead of the 10% that “W” said was enough to pay the federal bills.  Starting in January 2013, you will pay $1,860 rather than $1,240.  That’s an additional $620 to Big Pimp Uncle Sam.  You go player.  You gotta get that dollar bill y’all!  Man, you are making a mountain out of a molehill.  They will make that up in Earned Income monies and writing their kids off on taxes.  In 2012, the head of household parent with three children received $5,891 in Earned Income Tax Refundable Credits.  In 2013, she will receive $4,140.  Yeah, that negative $1,751 will make up for the loss of $620 made payable to Big Daddy Uncle Sam.  Oh yeah, those kids!  She received a Child Tax Credit of $1,000 per child in 2012.  In 2013, it falls 50% to $500.  You see under President Bush, the Head of Household Filer did pretty well.  As Obama exits, they will suffer mightily.  In fact, the Bush Tax Cutsgreatly rewarded those that the Far Left deem are the poor and middle class.  With low unemployment rates, many were able to escape the fiscal confines of governmental tax-ploitation from the Democrat Tax and Send Lobby.  This led to increased consumer and industrial spending and an expansion of the economy.

     This Message Is Not One spoken of Well by Urban Democrat Tax and Spenders or Carried Well by Conservatives.  For Urban Democrats, lower taxes do irreparable harm to their influential powers built upon class and caste envy, government dependence and wealth distribution.  Under the assault of lower taxes, people begin to ask three essential questions that eradicate the need for the Democrat Party.  The first is “If government can run on less, why do they need so much of my money?”  This speaks to the corruption and inefficiency that comes with government intervention into the daily lives of the citizen.  Every cause of Man becomes a noble requirement of citizens to devote a portion of their incomes.  We are not looking for a “real” solution but merely project or program that will help us cope with the ruin that was done by Man.  Since it was Man, or the citizen, that caused the ailment which required the noble cause, a “pure” organization must step forward to oversee the correction of the problem.  This pure organization must select the most elite thinkers to oversee the regulation of its competitors–free market capitalists–and fairly pay those that wish to such noble labor.  While fairness is the hallmark of the  effort, the elite recognize that some workers are better than other workers and must unite them to maintain control of the effort.  This nobility requires more pay and benefits than the other knaves.  Each has security and performs labor.  However, citizens are assured that for additional project and program costs that the project or program will keep people employed and the city, state or federal government working towards the noble effort.  Notice how we moved from an efficient effort to correct a problem to a noble effort to maintain those in employment to manage the problem.  Corruption of effort leads to corruption of purpose.  The corrupted purpose is not self-sufficient.  It is built on noble reasoning and funded on the fear that Man will not solve the problem and only Government can manage it.  Hence, more money is needed to do much with little outcome. The purpose has allowed the government to grow and burden the people.  The citizens are divided: (1) those that recognize waste, fraud and abuse and (2) those that wish to maintain their pre-eminent source of wealth and will do, by any means necessary, to secure its source of power and influence.

 

     The second is, “Can we do without government doing this for us?”  This question requires exploration and examination.  in Urban America, such exploration is deemed fruitless and harmful at once.  There are some in Washington, DC that can not imagine a private trash company ridding the city of refuse at a reduced cost.  There are some in Washington, DC that will not envision the parent having the power to choose the school for the child based on the needs of the student, the overall performance of the school and the direct access to taxpayer funds to fully support their decision.  At one time, we were trained to become doctors, lawyers and entrepreneurs.  Today, students in our community, are encouraged to become government workers and study social work.  The studies of Math, Science and the Constitution are deemed too hard.  How can a people that are unable to get a Voter ID actually run a marketing company that notifies the community of changes in transportation, provide needed care to the poor or represent them justly in discord without government?  It goes without saying that the only way to manage poverty is to allow government to involve itself in the daily lives of its citizens.  The only way to overcome it is to get government out of the daily lives of its citizens.  Such examination is profitable and will lead to liberty.  This is at all disdained by the Democrat power brokers and their Urban Poverty Pimps that govern Metropolitan areas.

     The last is, “Whose money is this anyway?”  It’s amazing the number of friends that I have on Face Book with a Blue D surrounded by a Blue Circle in their Information area.  This is their Face Book tattoo for being a member of the Democrat Party.  However, if you ever pose this question, you get a sincere renegade-like retort.  ”My money is my money!” Often, this is the same response I hear in marriage counseling with young couples.  ”His money is My Money and My Money is My Money!”  Yes, get the Divorce Papers together now.  Possession seems the important virtue of wealth accumulation.  However, the same individuals misunderstand the power that they lose and the power that a centralized federal government gains in the articles of this possession.  When possession is the essential link to success, you are not willing to succumb to a natural requirement to give as needed.  You understand that there a noble causes that you can give to without prodding however, greed separates you from such activity.  Someone else can take care of this problem.  I don’t have it to give to those that can do best in managing it.  This is why an all-powerful government suits the Tax and Spend Democrat.  It removes their Will to Give and Replaces it with the Patriotic Duty of Hiring Someone to Do It For Them.  While Conservatives would prefer to battle the Invisible of Free Markets, Liberals feel most comfortable when the Visible Hand of Taxation automatically withholds funds from them to answer the most noble challenges of the day like funding Government Services Administration (GSA) Trips to Las Vegas or meddling in the private business affairs of mankind by funding Solyndra.  To the Conservative, every penny that you earned is yours and to the Liberal, every penny that government allows you to keep is yours.  Government in Urban America has spent the past eighty years indoctrinating people to incrementally reduce their Trust in themselves and God and incrementally increase their Trust in Government.

 

In 1964, when President Lyndon Johnson declared a “war on poverty” in America, the poverty rate stood at around 19 percent.

Since then, total federal, state, and local spending on anti-poverty programs has amounted to $15 trillion, yet the poverty rate now stands at 15.1 percent, the highest level in nearly a decade.

 

Businesses, families, investors, etc. are all looking to December 31, 2012.  For the Poor, their attack is already underway.  Unemployment and those exiting the employment market due to an inability to find opportunities are increasing at record high levels.  More Americans are on food stamps and welfare than at any time in four decades.  More skilled labor opportunities exist than non-skill and that speaks to the education crisis in Urban America.  The impact on federal, state and local governments is stark.  Michael Tanner, Cato Institute Health and Welfare Studies Director and Author of The Poverty of Welfare: Helping Others in Civil Society”, writes, “Federal, state and local governments now spend $20, 610 a year for every poor person in the United States or $61,830 for each poor family of three.”  Since President Obama began his Administration, the Nation’s governments have spent $1 trillion on anti-poverty programs which s $315 Billion more tan the Nation spends on National Defense.

[DC Mayor Vincent] Gray is willing to rewrite tech incentives that would save LivingSocial up to $32.5 million in taxes over a five-year period beginning in 2015. By then the company, which has yet to turn a profit, expects to be operating in the black and to have hired an additional 1,000 people in the city. To maximize its savings, at least half of the new hires would be required to live in the District or move to the city within six months of being hired.

Businesses and wealthy persons have an advantage that the poor do not.  Mobility!  If they do not like the way the tax game is being played then, they can pick up their wealthy game pieces and leave.  The Poor have no place to go.  They will bear the brunt of the forces of tax policy gone wild in Democratland.  They have no lobbying group to dine with city leaders to work out a favorable tax deal.  Many say that under Republicans, the Rich get Richer.  It appears that, under Democrats, the Poor get Poorer.  Blame Bush!

     It is written that Sun-Tzu once said, “Warfare is a great matter to a nation; it is the ground of death and of life it is the way of survival and destruction, and must be examined.”  Coming after the celebration of the High Holy Days of Spring–Passover and Resurrection, a private examination of liberal public warfare in America seems an essential matter, especially in the District of Columbia.  Why the Nation’s Capital?  Well, two names illuminated the pathways of survival and destruction in the Metro Voting Scene prior to the High Holy Days–Council Member and Mayor for Life Marion “Dmitri Shepilov” Barry and Attorney General Eric “I’ll Be Back Faster than You Can Say Furious”  Holder.  In the life and death battle of maintaining the most oppressive and poverty resistant tactics in Urban Polity, Barry represents the survivor and Holder the destroyer.  Each is vital to the installation of public policies and laws that defile the political liberties of Constitutional governance in lieu of those that solidify the Utopian financial security of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Economic Bill of Rights.  These are men esteemed by their peers for their judicial and political sophistry.  In variant circles, they are lauded for their past accomplishments.  They are different men sharing the same political ideology.  They are men of the “Democrat Civil Rights Generation”  [1966 - 2008].  Each found a home for their radical beliefs within President Andrew Jackson’s Party.  Each believes that their racial justice and racial politics will reward “the least, the last and the lost” while incriminating those that, by acts of conscience or acts of their descendants, have oppressed such a great multitude.  One operates at the federal level.  The other at the state level.  Yet, their paths mysteriously crossed at the corner of Racism and Voter Fraud in the Nation’s Capitol on Primary Election Day 2012.

We will be reminded over the weekend of the Greatnes of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His accomplishments are numerous and his influence seemingly immeasurable. The youngest to receive the Nobel. An award of great notice until recently trifled in popular recognition with the selections of Barack H. Obama (2009) and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr. (2007). Maybe when Beowulf returns, we can scratch their names from the trophy case! His orations cast him amongst the world's preeminent Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and William Faulkner [Delivered one of the world's great speeches for his Nobel Prize. Talk about deserving what you get!]. His writings have become required reading in universities and high schools throughout the US. Dr. King was never elected or appointed to public office yet, his influence was tremendously impacted legislative leaders. His leadership gave courage to Republican Senators and Congressmen, at the time the minority party, to push through legislation overriding America's "Jim Crow" laws. They won't show this in school but, this is the outcome of the vote:

The original House version:

  • Democratic Party: 152-96 (61%-39%)
  • Republican Party: 138-34 (80%-20%)

Cloture in the Senate:

  • Democratic Party: 44-23 (66%–34%)
  • Republican Party: 27-6 (82%–18%)

The Senate version:

  • Democratic Party: 46-21 (69%–31%)
  • Republican Party: 27-6 (82%–18%)

The Senate version, voted on by the House:

  • Democratic Party: 153-91 (63%–37%)
  • Republican Party: 136-35 (80%–20%)

Al Sharpton claimed on his show that Democrats supported the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Doesn't seem like the Democrat Party was as influenced by Dr. King as the Republican Party. Al Sharpton won't tell ya that. Painfully, the labor entrenched public schools fail to teach history and excel in teaching revisionist history. Community organizers in the classroom have no problem miseducating children and adults on voting rights. Often, minorities are told that without the 1964 Civil Rights Act they would not be able to vote in the United States. The Patriotic teacher would take the opportunity to advise that all minority voters are protected, since Reconstruction, under the US Constitution's 14th Amendment. The union teacher--the most to lose from an educated minority populus--without shame provokes the paranoia of the student by affirming that the 1964 Act "guarantees" the right to vote and that only one Party--the Democrat--will protect that right. Irresponsible? Yes. Effective? Yes. When corraling a people is essential, one's methods are never questioned. I suppose Rev. Al has been miseducated enough to know that it was Herman Cain that first accused Blacks of being brainwashed and not Malcom X. Today's Ron Paul is yesterday's Malcolm X.

What others won't disclose is that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is a rewrite of President Dwight Eisenhower's 1957 Civil Rights Act. The common denominator for each: Lyndon Baines Johnson. The 1964 Civil Rights act enforces the constitutional right to vote, confers jurisdiction upon the district courts of the United States of America to provide relief against discrimination in public accommodations, authorizes the Attorney General to institute suits to protect constitutional rights in public facilities and public education, extends the Commission on Civil Rights, prevents discrimination in federally assisted programs, establishes a Commission on Equal Employment Opportunity, and other purposes. Nowhere in this act does it give you the right to vote. The Radical Republicans in 1868 satisfied that barrier. So what of this 1957 Act? It prohibited intimidation, coercion or otherwise interfering with the rights of persons to vote for the President and members of Congress. The Attorney General of the United States "may" [sic] institute actions, including injunctions and charges of contempt of court, with fines not to exceed $1000 and six months imprisonment. There are also extensive safeguards for the rights of accused under this statute. Federal judges were permitted to hear cases related to the act with or without juries. Not being able to vote in most of the South, blacks were also excluded from juries. President Eisenhower was bitterly disappointed with the bill. He advised that he wanted a stronger and more enforceable piece of legislation, "I wanted a much stronger civil rights bill in '57 than I could get, But the Democrats . . . wouldn't let me have it." Why is the "may" so important? Three letters: LBJ. Let's explore why the Father of the Great Society supported the 1957 Act. The Senate Majority Leader advised:

"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don't move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there'll be no way of stopping them, we'll lose the filibuster and there'll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It'll be Reconstruction all over again."

The Senate leader, Lyndon Baines Johnson, was a Democrat, and recognized that the Civil Rights bill traveling through Congress, would rent his party in two: right wing Southern senators and liberal West Coast senators. Don't worry LBJ! I think we have the picture. The real reason was ambition. LBJ knew he would run for President someday. He needed a bill that was pro-civil rights to appeal to potential allies of the Democrat Party and weakly enforceable that he may keep his Majority Leadership and maintain appearances with the strong Southern contingency. The public, at a loss of confidence, became less supportive when Eisenhower openly admitted that he did not understand parts of the bill. Score one for LBJ! By the way, who signed the 1964 Act? Eisenhower? Nixon? Kennedy? Nah, it was the uppity Negroes best friend: LBJ.

I must applaud the Democrat Party. They are so wise. More than 400 state laws, constitutional amendments, and city ordinances legalizing segregation and discrimination were passed in the United States between 1865 and 1967. Western states routinely passed discriminatory legislation against Asians and Native Americans, passing 51 Jim Crow laws, 12 percent of the nation's total. Outside the South, California passed more Jim Crow laws (17) than any other state in the country. Jim Crow induced Blacks to leave the South for The Warmth of Other Suns. In 1910, the African-American population of Detroit was 6,000. The Great Migration, and immigration from eastern and southern Europe, turned the city into the country's fourth-largest. By the start of the Great Depression in 1929, its African-American population had climbed to 120,000. More than six (6) million Blacks left the South. The economic tragedy is simple to relate. By 1910, it is estimated that Blacks owned fifteen (15) million acres of land in the South. Modern African-American rural landowners possess a total of approximately 7.7 million acres of land, less than 1% of all privately owned rural land in the United States, valued at $14 Billion dollars. Think about how much wealth and inheritance was lost thanks to the Jim Crow Economy. How's that Union job at Hostess working for ya? Through intimidation and later, dependency, the Democrat Party convinced 90% of Black America that a single political party could protect them from "the evil doings" of the Radical Republicans, the greed of corporations and their shareholders and the "ever enduring" stigma of slavery. I can hear the Jim Crow Dems speaking, "Listen, we aren't talking about race but I know the Republicans brought it up and they don't want to apologize. They were always against you."

The term Jim Crow is believed to have originated around 1830 when a white, minstrel show performer, Thomas "Daddy" Rice, blackened his face with charcoal paste or burnt cork and danced a ridiculous jig while singing the lyrics to the song, "Jump Jim Crow." Theologian Howard Thurman described "Jim Crow" laws in this manner to his daughters:

"The measure of a man's estimate of your strength is the kind of weapons he feels that he must use in order to hold you fast in a prescribed place."

You see the Dems were just having a little fun expressing how different whites were from blacks. Yeah, the DEMs pulled out some other stereotypes to keep the party going with sleight of hand "You see, wese gonna shows you what the Republicans be thinking about you really!" Ever building the case for a second class status in the Republican Party composed of a racially disdaining group of elitists, the DEMs pulled out all of the stops by adding some characters from their psychological warfare cabinet: Sambos, Coons, and Zip Dandies. By the way, Black conservative, when were you last called one of these names by your smitten and irate Democrat brethren? Yes, even Dr. King suffered such expresson from Black leaders of his day. All in fun of course!

Dr. King was an ordinary man who made extraordinary decisions that produced exceptional results. While we rage in battle over the fact that Dr.King was a registered Republican, he no doubt felt an allegiance towards the Democrat Party. Author Stephen Oates, Let the Trumpet Sound: A Life of Martin Luther King, Jr, wrote, "I feel someone must remain in the position of non-alignment, so that he can look objectively at both parties and be the conscience of both—not the servant or master of either." However, his body may have been in the Republican Party with his father, Martin L. King, Sr. but his mind was on the Democrat Party. Dr. King, Jr. always made it clear that he was not Dr. King, Sr. In part, Sr. King agreed with the elders of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference that it was ok for Jr. King to be a national or even regional leader. However, the black clergymen agreed that he needed to stay out of "Atlanta's business". Let me be the first to report to you that Men of the Cloth are still men. They were jealous and cautious of Dr. King's popularity and influence. Jr. King referred to them as an "envious old guard". They did not want him changing things in Atlanta proper. In an attempt to quell the massess, the established Negro Leadership, I'll refer to them as Atlanta's Talented Tenth a la W.E.B. DuBois, had an agreement with the established white leadership, including Mayor William Hartsfield and Police Chief Herbert Jenkins. The agreed with a gradual and peaceful process of desegregation in the BIG ATL. Each group agreed that Jr. King was a threat and decided to keep him out. This propelled King Jr. to search for a "liberal" white brother in the battle to put down the pretentiousness of political correctness and execute moral leadership. He saw that in John F. Kennedy.

Given past baggage in former Vice-President Richard Nixon's and Senator Kennedy's background, he saw the latter as a better Presidential choice. He went as far to say that he planned on endorsing him in 1964. It would have been the first time that King, Jr. had endorsed a candidate. The affinity and adoration the two had in public discourse is questioned in the Presidential actions of Kennedy. According to the National Black Republican Association, Kennedy, lauded as a proponent of civil rights, voted against the 1957 Civil rights Act while he was a senator, as did Democrat Senator Al Gore, Sr. He was opposed to the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King that was organized by A. Phillip Randolph who was a black Republican. President Kennedy, in order to undermine Dr. King, through his brother Attorney General Robert Kennedy, had the civil rights leader wiretapped and investigated by the FBI on suspicion of being a Communist. Clayborn Carson et al, The Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr: Symbol of the Movement, January 1957 – December, 1958, captured the thinking of many modern conservatives, especially Black, that call themselves Independents, with this quote from Dr. King, Jr.:

Actually, the Negro has been betrayed by both the Republican and the Democratic party. The Democrats have betrayed him by capitulating to the whims and caprices of the Southern Dixiecrats. The Republicans have betrayed him by capitulating to the blatant hypocrisy of reactionary right wing northern Republicans. And this coalition of southern Dixiecrats and right wing reactionary northern Republicans defeats every bill and every move towards liberal legislation in the area of civil rights.

He, like many of his day, had given up on the Party of Lincoln and surrendered to the Party of Jefferson Davis to promote and produce results born of universal truths. The road well traveled may have produced the catalysts needed for victory. However, is it the change of promise idealed by Frederick Douglas and Booker T. Washington? Or have we produced the field of dreams envisioned by Karl Marx, WEB Dubois and lawyer, revolutionary politician Vladimir Lenin? You thought I was going to say Barack Obama didn't you? Dr. King felt the pangs of success and failure within and without his race. He felt the tremors of success from within and from without his political party. Considering the icon requires an earthened look at his influnces and what has come to pass for the sake of America. .

Many of our bretheren have been duped and made afraid to exit false modern movements because of their duplicity of thought. Dr. King was already a leader of a multi-racial, American populist cultural movement that sought vindication and legislative remedy for the racial injustices of society. Movement leaders that coerced Dr. King to attend the 1963 March on Washington needed him more than Dr, King needed them. They were a school of American liberalists seeking approval and a means of fully infiltrating the Black community. American liberalists composed of unions attempting to cover years of discrimination with a zealous oureach to Black workers, left leaning.community organizations and alternative lifestyle proponents needed an icon to hitch their wagon. Fashioned by radical thinkers like Sol Alinsky, the organizations sought validity, acceptance and empowerment from a traditionally conservative yet abused community. Each had their own agenda but could mask their threats in the universal suffrage of Black Americans. I can imagine people sitting in a dark, musty room smoking cigars and agreeing to support one another because each has what the other needs.

"Yeah, I was born this way like you were born Black. Gay Rights is the same as Voting Rights!"

"A Living Wage. Listen, all you are missing is a piece of the government. Help me get the living wage and I will help you with affirmative action."

"You know your people, eh excuse me, I meant, "Our people" are struggling with the church stopping women from controlling their bodies. You help with abortion rights, eh I mean Women's Rights then, we'll be down with the cause."

What did we receive in return: Detroit and other modern urban metrolpolitans! Some alliances prove more unsightly than the treasures of the cause pursued.

Detroit is a Socialist city teetering on the edge of cultural bankruptcy. "So what does this have to do with Dr. King, Ken!? You know I am already mad at you for not bowing down and worshipping at the image of the Great Civil Rights Leader." Firstly, we have enough rock remaining to build a statue for Booker T. Washington, Harriett Tubman and Malcolm X. Secondly, you don't spit in te wind and you don't ask the Communist Chineese government to build a statue of Dr. King. Amazing what American Union Labor won't volunteer to do! Finally, it's sited near the FDR statue (All Blacks love FDR!) and is facing the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. Who was in charge of putting this plan together? I

digress. While he preached of a colorless society, his leanings towards liberality secured a sense amongst the Black electorate that vigilante politics was an acceptable framework of voting. Vigilante politics is composed of three principles: (1) racial preference; (2) party preference and (3) economic preference. Personal Responsibility is one the most laudable tenets of conservatism. The term personal, at least in its Old French origins, yields no wiggle room for the faint at heart. During the 14th century, the term meant "pertaining to self". The German playwright Johann Wolfgang von Goethe advised, “Let everyone sweep in front of his own door, and then the whole world will be clean." This is not the case in liberal politics. Vigilant electors feel the need to elect not "from their own" but "from their own kind". Hence, while affirmative action is sought in employment and contracting, it is frowned upon in elections. If a white man that shares your belief and possesses the skillset to govern is running against a black man that shares your belief and lacks the skillset to govern then, you choose the latter rather than the first. Your budget may suffer and mandates made law but "at least he's got my best interest at heart." The second is party preference. It does not matter! There is only one party that understands what I've been through so I must choose that one. Principles are unimportant, only Party really matters. Last, economic preference. When given the choice of supply side and demand side, always choose demand side economics. To the vigilant electorate, there will never be enough goods because a few people that produce them are hoarding them. We need our stuff and we need it now. When I am unable to be satisfied, I believe that the goods maker should be punished. Raise his taxes. Create rules that will slow-up his success. Since I am so poor and weak, I will demand that the government act as my agent and force the producers to meet my need. That'll show'em!

For urban America, vigilante politics has ruined budgets, economic growth and taken liberties from families and individuals. A Great Case for this is Detroit. I will succinctly consider each of the Vigilante points in establishing the failure of such governments. Mayor Dave Bing, Democrat, had advised his popolus in December 2011 that the city was experiencing some spending pressures but nothing they could not handle. After an audit, the city was only in the red by $67 million . By January 2012, there are concerns that the city may not be able to meet May 2012 payroll. Who's responsible? Detroit governs by way of a strong mayoral system. All tickets are punched by the Big Cheese in the leather chair. However the budget is approved by the city council. Let's get over points one and two at once. The council is all black and all are Democrats. Apparently, there are no other races living in Detroit and certainly, no Detroit City Republican Party exists. Point three: economic preference. You would hope in a tremendous area of trade and factory production that many members of your city council would understand and promote supply side economics where possible. You would hope there is no dependency on government at all with its ports and huge involvement in domestic and foreign trade. Tcha, you know what? No! Mind you, Motor City councilmembers are compensated at $73,000 per annum. Our first guest on Vigilante Elections: Charles Pugh. Elected President becomes he received the most votes, what a qualifier, Pugh was a television journalist and radio personality. All the signs of a fiscal policy hawk. The electorate chose him despite a late campaign controversy when he acknowledged that he was struggling financially and his $385,000 condominiium was in foreclosure. I understand, things happen. Guest two: Gary Brown, former Deputy Police Chief. Public Safety. Great! Financial Strength: Part of a $8.4 million whistle blower's suit against Detroit. He won. It gets better! Guest three: Saunteel Jenkins. Foreclosure. Jenkins owed $167,000 on her mortgage and decided to walk away. Three years salary and it's paid off. Guest four: Kenneth Cockriel, Jr. Former Wayne County Commissioner. He must now how to manage a budget. Well, he is also the son of a self-proclaimed Marxist-Leninist! Well Ken, apples do fall from trees! Yeah, but this one bounced back! He served on the committee that awarded Van Jones "The Maurice Sugar Voice for Justice Award" for "Human Rights Activists and Green jobs Advocate". Yeah, that Van Jones!

There must be someoone on the Council will management experience taht will lend itself to a supply side economy with limited government. The good people of Detroit must be crying out for smaller government and lower taxes especially after all of the pain of GM and Chrysler being bought out by Obama Motors. Guest five: Brenda B. Jones. She's the former President of Communications Workers of America. Member of the NAACP and the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights. She can certainly recognize a special interest. She also served on the committee that awarded Van Jones"The Maurice Sugar Voice for Justice Award" for "Human Rights Activists and Green jobs Advocate". Yeah, that Van Jones! Guest six: Andre Spivey. A Morehouse Man. Like Dr. King. He did not serve on the Van Jones Committee. However, Ponsella Hardaway did. Why does this matter? Hardaway is the Executive Director of MOSES. Spivey sits on the Board of MOSES. It is the Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength and its purpose is to act on issues that have a systemic impact on the quality of life in the community and social justice. They believe in the Equitable allocation and distribution of public funds. MOSES, not the one played by Charleston Heston, is affiliated with Gamaliel Foundation. Barack Obama was trained by the Sol Alinsky-founded Gamaliel Foundation. This is the Foundation that is fighting against Wisconsin legislation that would make it illegal to pay a person to sign a petition. Wow, a Christian organization fighting for Voter Fraud. No collection here! This church is paying! Guest seven: James Tate. his campaign material made it very plain: PRO-UNION! He understands teh importance of unions. Guest eight: Councilman Kwame Kenyatta faced foreclosure and walked away in 2008. He had more important things to do like meet with Venezuela's envoy to the United States, Ambassador Bernado Alvarez Herrera. He was joined by JoAnn Watson (she will be our last guest), Brenda Jones, Kwame Kenyatta, Martha Reeves and Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick to discuss how to expand his country's programs that help the poor. By the end of the evening, the Detroit councilmembers had convinced the Ambassador that they were the needy ones. The Ambassador announced a new program to extend the free eye surgery begun by Cuba to the US Midwest. O goody, have a pop and a smile! The Cubans with the help of the Venezueleans are bringin their health program to our shores. It's probably covered under ObamaCare! Who else was in attendance to celebrate the outpouring of help from one socialist nation to a socialist city? Howabout the International Action Center (IAC). Per the website: "The IAC strives to draw from the leadership, connect the struggles, and bring together communities of color, women, lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, youth and students, immigrant and workers' organizations in order build a progressive movement for social justice and change. Ultimately it is our goal to work towards the liberation and freedom of all peoples living in the U.S. and around the world. IAC defines itself as an "anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist" organization." Just what the motor city needs, a people committed to shutting it down. Not finished! Howabout Latinos Unidos / United de Michigan (LUUM)? While their site is no longer operative, it was once reported that their goal was "to inform about the inhumane raids, home intrusions, racial profiling and other atrocities perpetuated by the Federal Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (FBICE) upon our immigrant communities in Michigan and throughout the US". Maybe that is why Detroit is a sanctuary city. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Detroit has got to be the exception to the rule. There has to be someone on the Council that understands that liberal good intentions inflate costs and expenses for a city. Michigan's preliminary review found that the city had failed to adjust annual budgets in the face of declining revenues and/or increased expenditures, has recurring fund deficits of more than $100 million and failed to file an adequate or approved Deficit Elimination Plan. The state says the city has budgetary shortfalls that could lead to a negative cash balance as early as April, 2012.There must be someone that understands the kinetic framework of free markets and seeks only the best for small businesses America's wealth creation machine. Uh Uh! Our final guest: Jo Ann Watson. The Michigan activist is an unrepentant socialist. She has sponsored more than 1,000 bills. Her bonafides include serving as Executive Director of the Detroit NAACP, Public Policy Liaison for Congressman John Conyers and Co-Founder of the Coalition for Health care Equity. She presented her book Reparations to Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama. She is sponsoring two Detroiters to study Medicine in Cuba and then, return to provide care to the City. She has a relationship with the Pro Cuban/North Korean Workers World Party. From June 14-17 2009, the Moratorium NOW!-initiated People's Summit was held at Grand Circus Park, Detroit, MI. A "tent city" was built at the location, and protesters camped there for four days of "Active Resistance, Political Discussion and Strategizing for a “People's Stimulus Plans” and an “Economic Bill of Rights” for Working People and the Poor." Moratorium NOW! is a Workers World Party-front organization. Do you really believe that these vigilante politicians have the citizens best interests in mind. I doubt it sincerely.

The Civil Rights Movement and the Dr. King icon are inseparable. How we see him will be based on which cultural philosophy we subscribe. If a modern American liberal (socialist, Marxist, communist, etc.) then, you will refer to his commitment to Theodore Roosevelt's preference for human welfare over property rights, Woodrow Wilson's call for limited government through government expansion and federal control, Franklin Roosevelt's Second Bill of Rights, John Kennedy's dreams of eradicating the human condition through government welfare and Lyndon Baines Johnson's welfare and bust legislated programs. Union leaders and race-baiting community organizers will point to his convictions on voting rights, gay rights, abortion rights and government entitlement. If a conservative, like his neice Alveda King, you wonder how the liberals were able to high jack the symbolism of universal, unalienable rights granted every man by his Creator from the iconic speaker. You can not recognize such a liberal Dr. King from all of the made for TV movies! You refer to his dire need for a multi-racial approach to harmonizing protests of injustice even as his bretheren lose faith in his "human race" concept. He expounded upon American values to include the vision of a color blind society in his 1963 speech "I have a Dream". His inspiration for one of the most beloved speeches in human history: Archibald Carey, Jr.'s address to the 1952 Republican National Convention and Prathia Hall's speech at the site of a burned-down church in Terrell County, Georgia in September 1962. We will be reminded that he was a great civil rights leader as evidenced by his efforts on the 1965 Montgomery Bus Boycot. The transit boycott of National City Lines, owned by General Motors, Standard Oil of California, Firestone and others is endeared by union leaders and race organizers as a political and social victory. As a conservative that appreciates the beauty of free markets, I recognize the brilliance of the financial starvation of a major corporation that monopolized city services due to a local government's decision to pick a winner. It really goes to show that the greatest threat of the Movement was not political or social but economics. Bet your child won't hear that in history class!

Nearly fifty years after his death, Dr. King is an enigma to many who only know the broad strokes of his life.. Doesn't the Poor People's Campaign of 1968 reveal flashes of Occupy Wall Street brilliance. Weary from his shunning by radical blacks, leftists community organizers and egalitarian sympathizers, he attempted to broach the immorality of war appropriations and Jim Crow segregation with federal government intervention. His frustration with an America that was not reacting quickly enough to a crisis led him to trust a political and economic philosophy that would not offer the Utopia sought or preferred. Dare say, maybe it was the only one available as literary critic Lionel Trilling once asserted.

In the United States at this time Liberalism is not only the dominant but even the sole intellectual tradition. For it is the plain fact that nowadays there are no conservative or reactionary ideas in general circulation. This does not mean, of course, that there is no impulse to conservatism or to reaction. Such impulses are certainly very strong, perhaps even stronger than most of us know. But the conservative impulse and the reactionary impulse do not, with some isolated and some ecclesiastical exceptions, express themselves in ideas but only in action or in irritable mental gestures which seek to resemble ideas.

Resist the impulse. Isn't this a tenet of non-violence? There were those that used his gift and his grace to increase in the daily lives of Americans prescribed general welfare and subsidy. A southern gentleman and scholar, grounded in the radical conservatism of his heritage and yet transformed in his "weary years" to a liberal icon without much clout amongst those that shaped his very image. In the end, American liberalism co-opted the Civil Rights Movement, the Black Economic Power Movement and our Political Aspirants. It also failed its greatest Peace icon.

From the Desk of The Exceptional Conservative

     I know that many of you have thrown away your Heritage Dictionaries and have leaned on the Wisdom of the Great One in the White House to outline for you what true justice is. The Great Harvard Graduate Without Grades defines Justice as:

“We’ve got some difficult debates and some tough fights to come,” Obama said. “As I’ve said before, we are at a make-or-break moment for the middle class. And in many ways, the actions we take in the months ahead will help determine what kind of country we want to be, and what kind of world we want our children and grandchildren to grow up in.” [ President Obama in his final weekly address of 2011]

Obama's definition of justice is built on the word "fair" and he defines it as "making or breaking the middle class." I rightly don't know if that is an apt definition of either justice or fair. I am a certain that if I turn to Attorney General Eric Holder, he would be square with me and define each rightly. Not that I would be prejudiced by the fair treatment of Solyndra however, I trust Holder would give a better deifintion than Obama.

     One of my favorite truth sayings in the Word of God is the telling of the Justice of Tamar. I well know that with all of the Ivory Tower convolutions of the King James Bible that yours might have a different read. I'll go with my interpretation in order to expound upon the power of a red string. Unquenched by this, you may ask, "What is the power of the red string?" It's regal purpose has been spoken of over aeons. In Japanese and Chinese cultures of yore, the red thread signed that the gods tied an invisible red string around the ankles of those that are destined to be soul mates and marry. In Hebraic culture, inheritance was crucial to the general welfare of the nation. It was the eldest son that received the lion's share of wealth, property and business upon the death of the father. In cases where a mother conceived twins, the midwife would tie the hand of the first child that pierced the womb thus, eliminating any debate of legitimacy of the reward of spoils. In Tamar's case, her levirate cause ended with the greatest shock of her and our lives. She surely had twins. Surely, one child--Zarah (rising light)--extended a hand to receive a "fair" reward. The midwife did as she ought. However, the second baby--Pharez ("breach")--extended himself and received a "just" reward. Now many of you ask, "Why did you label Zarah the "fair" baby and Pharez, the "just" baby. Zarah inherited a portion of the wealth of Judah and is never mentioned again in the Bible. Pharez became the paternal linneage of the Great King David and the King of Kings, Jesus the Christ. Just and Fair ain't the same, as best said in my unsavory southern colloquialism. Hence, our debate with the "Fair" Left should be built on the principles of Justice and clearly drawn upon by scholar and knave alike to explain that patriotism and liberty are hewn from the rock of individual prusuit and not government distribution. Simply put, we are "Just" Right.

     "Just Right"? Yeah, that's cute but the Democrats and Socialists have the momentum of the Occupy Movement. The GOP have told us how weak we are and Speaker John Boehner threw us under the bus. Heck, Obama might win the Iowa and South Carolina Primaries. I understand. The Media and DC Establishment have been so right for so long. How could they fail?

When the US Treasury Department is your personal ATM, it is very easy to promote the ideas of wretched destruction: Socialism and Marxism. What's the method? Tax and Spend. The power to "reach" into another man's wallet with the fullest authority of the State to redistribute his wealth in a manner deemed proper and beneficial to others without the sincere consent of the walletholder. When such power is granted by force and influenced with guilt and envious judgement, it makes the burdened susceptible to the acceptance of a constant place of economic security and the false assertion that a winsome bureaucrat can righteously mete out financial supports. Somehow, government has the uncanny ability to choose winners and losers in individual accomplishment, establish caste systems from which to usurp endless resource and punish those that resist either in the official speech of the authority or the symbiotic speech of the media. Those that are "fair" believe it a right to "reach" into the "wealth" of the few to support the lives of the many. What is queer about the definition of the few is in its real time application. The few becomes the many that should support the indvividual cause or person that fits within the acceptable cradle that is rocked. If its free education then, that cradle is acceptable. If every person has a right to a house then, that cradle is acceptable. However, what is uncovered is that the bureaucrats with the "god" ordained duty of dispersion garner the lion's share of support, both financial and popular, for their efforts. Their efforts produce no wealth and keeps the individual under the harness of the authority that feeds it. Eengineered on the promise that those that have receieved their ill-gotten gains will be surely punished, the Justice in Chief can act as legislator, executor and court. Simply, we encourage the rich to remain rich and pay for the privilege and we encourage the poor to stay poor or we will punish their success. There is really no middle class. The Robin Hoodesque system has broken it.

     Just and Fair are two different things. A just system seeks the better end of the person rather than the system. Just is built on a moral principle. Fair is built on popular agreement. Fair systems seek the acceptable continuance, temporal rewards of the authority that rocks the cradle. Vendor Managed Solutions President Rumia Ambrose-Burbank counted on a just system to produce success. She did not count on fairness to spin off her company from Electronic Data Systems. Once graced with funding from a "friendly" mentoring group, Ms. Ambrose-Burbank had to learn to rock her own cradle in order to build her business. She did not curse the wind but applied the skills that she had developed in corporate America to exploit her niche and create profit enough to hire employees, meet payroll, provide quality service to customers and expand sales. Is it fair? NO! It is just that she profits from her success. How much of her success does she deserve? All of it. Should anyone begrudge her success. I hope not as in capitalism free markets offer the best opportunity for individuals to gain wealth. Her pursuit empowered others to pursue their own endeavors. Her industry is not illicit nor does it steal from the common good. She has the power to rock the cradle and based on performance can produce greater return than a government project. There is a city that is built on the promise of fairness. It has built quite a largess to support its good intenetioned lifestyle:

In the past decade, for example, federal employment increased by 50,000, more than erasing the declines of the Clinton era. More significantly, federal procurement spending over the decade grew 166 percent, to $80 billion from $30 billion. With less than 5 percent of the nation’s population, the region captures 17 percent of the federal payroll and 21 percent of procurement dollars.

It’s been a wonderful ride, not just for the past 10 years but the past 20, and it has helped make ours one of the richest regions in the country. Which makes it all the more painful to have to inform you that it’s about to come to an end.

Yes, America, those that have built the empire of "fairness" understand that their time is coming to an end. As with all Ponzi schemes, the battle to rock the cradle of Tax and Spend to subsidize the armies amassed to distribute the rewards is coming to an end. When any well dries up, you must either dig deeper or move on. The rest of the country has dug pretty deep to sustain the welfare of those that are sent to serve the people. The cradle must be taken away in November 2012. Washington, DC must be seiged by no nonsense conservatives that believe it is best to govern justly rather than fairly. The inheritance left by those that govern justly is always greater than those that govern fairly. Obama prizes his rhetoric on the ability to recount what he inherited. Someday, our grandchildren will be able to recount what they inherited from our governance.

     This is not the usual writing of a poetic sophist heaving grandeur political concepts upon the audience of Urban listeners and readers.  I will not begin with niceties and sincere appeals.  CONSERVATIVES, we are at full fledged war with attacks from within and without.  You may appreciate the daily punitive assaults upon our principles and our people by the Media and the Left (Democrats, Socialists, Communists, Anarchists, Marxists, Occupiers, etc.).  If for the first time in the history of this Great Nation that our Credit Rating was downgraded then, it is the Tea Party's and Conservatives' fault.  If you can not pass a budget in nearly 1,000 days, even when you had a Democrat House and a Democrat Senate, then, it's the Tea Party's fault.  If the plumbing goes bad in your house, Blame Bush or the Tea Party Conservatives.  Screw Transparency!  You don't need a mercury-filled light bulb from General Electric China to know that the enemy of your enemy is still your enemy in the Democrat Coalition.  Whether it's the die-hard Klansman or the caring La Raza patron who believes that additional government funding is needed to support black fathers because they do not have the moral fiber to stay home with their children, you expect slights and intelligentsia breaches moment by moment.  You know that when you attend a conservative event in Washington that Occupiers will push old people down stairs onto the Urban pavement or will build tenement shelter without permit on federal lands.  WE expect this and we get it!  We fight back.  We unify and we employ the Constitution to defeat our enemies.  November 2010 is an example of the magnificent powers of Tea Party Conservatives to repel the enemy!

 

     With the Glory of November 2010, Redistricting and the attraction of one of the Best Crop of Conservatives to run for the Presidency in our History, you would think that the GOP would have risen upon the highest mount and roared with full force and excitement over the innumerable possibilities of taking back the Senate and the White House and maintaining the House.  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  We inherit a Scar moment!  Out of nowhere comes the transparency of a malnourished Party that is merely seeking a residency at the Ruler's Table rather than a crown.  John Hayward writes,


The Yahoo News report of Tuesday’s Republican National Committee conference call has produced much dismay throughout the conservative blogosphere:

Republicans on a private Republican National Committee conference call with allies warned Tuesday that party surrogates should refrain from personal attacks against President Barack Obama, because such a strategy is too hazardous for the GOP.

"We're hesitant to jump on board with heavy attacks" personally against President Obama, Nicholas Thompson, the vice president of polling firm the Tarrance Group, said on the call. "There's a lot of people who feel sorry for him."

Recent polling data indicates that while the president suffers from significantly low job approval ratings, voters still give "high approval" to Obama personally, Thompson said.

Voters "don't think he's an evil man who's out to change the United States" for the worse--even though many of the same survey respondents agree that his policies have harmed the country, Thompson said. The upshot, Thompson stressed, is that Republicans should "exercise some caution" when talking about the president personally.

 


 

The Scared GOP announces that they have the lion's share of the intellect with this strategy of cowardice.  A threat of how powerful they could be if they were in charge. President Obama has the lion share of the brawn of popular support.  Not since Shirley Maclaine has an individual been able to channel as many dead people as Barack Obama.  What troubles me is that he seems limited to "Great" Presidents.  How can any man face down such a Goliath?  My, my, my, if Obama wasn't so strong in foreign and domestic policy accomplishments then, the GOP would be marching onward to Atlanta in victory.  If you want to know how I feel about the GOP today then, merely think of my favorite military leader, General George S. Patton, US Army.  It's time to send the GOP to the front of the lines in the Primaries.  Before we send Obama back to Indonesia, we must pack up the whiny RINOs that have infiltrated our ranks and settled like wayward Palestinians in our halls of governance.  Yes, the first to go must be the career politicians that have sat in the House and Senate afraid to move forward or backwards because they have gotten comfortable doing nothing and having nothing expected from them.  Conservatives, you have received the cue!  IT'S TIME TO SEND THE HEARTLESS GOP HOME AND SEND SOME REAL BATTALIONS OF STRENGTH TO RALLY THE SOLDIERS THAT HAVE PUT UP A HEROIC EFFORT IN WASHINGTON. 


 

 

     For those following along at home, the GOP has asked all of us to play nice and go about our way.  You have three prominent conservatives--Rick Santorum, Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann--in the Presidential race.  What more could the conservatives ask for since there are more moderates in America than conservatives?  Roughly one third, 36%, to 42% of the American public self-identify as "conservative." Yes, like we said, "more moderates!"  Right.   They don't want you to gather around to inspect how they got rid of one conservative Presidential candidate on allegations of sexual impropriety aka "being unfaithful to the spouse" and how they almost got rid of one conservative Presidential candidate on allegations of sexual propriety aka "being faithful to the spouse".  Now, mind you, the GOP never saw Obama as a threat.  Speaker of the House John Boehner did not see his golfing buddy, Barack Hussein Obama, as a threat to our national security, our budget or our deficit.  He did see Michelle Bachmann as a threat.  She had a common sense answer for eliminating $105 Billion from the budget in one stroke: Repeal Obamacare!  Hey, 9 out of 10 RINO's agree to run on Repeal.  Why not put it to a real test?  Say that our credit rating and our budget depends on the repeal.  Nah! That won't work!  Obama won't sign it.  Well, he hasn't signed any budget in nearly a 1,000 days, what's the difference?  The difference is Bachmann had guts and Boehner did not.  Conservative 1, GOP 0.  Of course, this can not be true because Bachmann is a gaffe machine.  She, a member of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Financial Services Committee, says lots of funny stuff!  O, sorry, that was the VP Joe Biden.  I dare mention again that America's Ultimate Gaffe Machine is Vice-President, a heartbeat away from the Presidency.  Herman Cain had a common sense answer for the problem of centralized power and taxation abuse in Washington, DC.  His response: 9 - 9 - 9.  It was simple and yet, shook every bed from Sacramento, CA to the White House.  Mr. Cain had defeated the Democrats, Socialists, Communists, Anarchists, Marxists, Occupiers and GOP Establishment with three numbers.  I hear the hooves.  The Establishment could see power and control sifting through their hands. O, heck No!   Two months later the Establishment unleashed the power of the Trailer Park upon the forces of Good and their champion shrank from the waves of allegation. I wonder what Ted Kennedy would have done? I wonder what Bill Clinton would have done? I guess we will never know. Each of them never became President of the United States. The horses are galloping at full strength.  Everyone is now left with a choice of Speaker Newt Gingrich or Governor Mitt Romney.  One of them will be the nominee.  I hear a cry in the distance.  There is no way that Iowa would ever choose a conservative like Michelle Bachmann.  There is no way that South Carolina could possibly pick Michelle Bachmann.  There is no way that Oregon or Florida would pick Michelle Bachmann.  I think I hear the horsemen, "The Cowards Are Coming, The Cowards Are Coming!"  It's Midnight and whom will the conservatives choose?  The Tea Party picks...Whatever the GOP says. 


 

 

     John Jay is one of America's most influential Founding Fathers.  Noted for his work on establishing the Supreme Court and writings in the Feralist Papers, one noted, as well, for a lesser thing in history.  He attempted to reconcile the colonies with Britain until the final signing of the Declaration of Independence.  As time passes, he became the radical Patriot that we speak well of today.  In prior times, he was not as confident in a fledgling scatter of patriots to establish a Nation.  Certainly, not the Nation that has come to be known as the United Staes of America.  John Adams and his Rad buddies were ready to throw down right chere, right now!  As conservatives, they were tired of being dissed by the British army here and King George III and the British Parliament in Englend.  John Jay wanted compromise in lieu of war.  It is the call of the "moderate" to turn the other cheek when both sides have been blistered.  So long before there was a US Postal Service facing bankruptcy, Jay ferried a parcel to the King: The Olive Branch Petition.  The Humble Petition fawningly advised that the colonists were not looking for Independence from a great Tyrant.  Heavens No!  We just want you to look over a few of our issues and then, tell us that you want to play golf at St. Andrews.  Heck, we'll even buy you a Green Tea Tokyo at the club house.  We go now to Bryant Gumbel to gain insight on the King's Response.  Bryant?  We are having some BTR difficulties.  Let's just say that it would be easier to find a Pro-semite amongst Occupy Wall Street than garner a kind word from George.  What Jay learned is that you can not separate the man from his message.  The King was a monarchist and the colonists were mere "workers" in the Kingdom.  There is no room for negotiation even if you reaelly really really like the guy!  Obama is a Marxist/Urban Leninist.  There is no separation between who he is and what he believes.  To submit to a compromise with him is to submit to descending a slippery slope.  No matter how hard you resist, you will fall and succomb to the will of the slope.  For Lenin, capitalism was merely a tool to motivate the political body towards more central planning.  For Obama, American capitalism and the US Constitution have been his vessels to motivate the political body towards more central planning.  For Lenin, an attack of his public policies, projects and programs was seen as an attack against the state and subject to severe punishment.  For Obama, an attack against him is an attack against him and 99% of America.  The penalty is sever mutilation by the media and leftist organizations.  John Jay became a hardened radical and Patriot by war's end.  He realized that his moderate ways only led to greater tyranny.  The sad thing is that the GOP have not learned this.  The penalty, radical Tea Party Patriots may produce no fruit and literally die upon the electoral vine of 2012.

 

 

 

     The real story here is that the GOP sent a warning to conservative talk personalities and commentators throughout the nation: DON'T SAY ANOTHER WORD ABOUT OBAMA!  It was conservative bloggers, like myself, and Sean Hannity that warned America that Russia was invading and the GOP guardsmen did not fire a shot.  Rush knew more in four words than the GOP has learned in four years.  The GOP bought into the Messianic mystique when, before a Veto proof House and Senate, he had passed the most expensive piece of Socialist legislation--The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Forget the economy! In Marxism / Urban Leninism / Socialism, the economy is not supposed to work. The people are supposed to have greater dependency on the man behind the machine than the machine itself. In capitalism, the fine organism is off kilter when unemployment is above 5% generally. In Marxism / Urban Leninism / Socialism, the economy is off kilter when you can't borrow from Germany or China and mobs fill the streets of Greece!  They swooned over his ability to speak.  Mr. Black Man, you talk so pretty! 

 

 

"Let's be clear, the president is a great speaker -- probably the greatest we've seen in a generation,'' Jindal, a Republican, said of the president, a Democrat. "I'm certainly not nearly as good of a speaker as he is. And I'm not the only one that's got that opinion.''

 

 

Family, this is what it is really all about.  It's still a race thing with the GOP.  Conservatives and Tea Party have moved onward to Reform the Nation.  The absent years of the GOP in Urban America keeps the mystique alive and well.  Hayward writes:

 

 

Also, even the most Beltway-insulated Republican elitist might have noticed that Obama and his media proxies are not at all shy about making things personal against them.  This is going to be the nastiest and most divisive re-election effort in history.  Obama and his auxiliaries, notably the Occupy Wall Street movement, have been working hard to divide America into warring camps.  Republicans with serious strategies for fiscal responsibility will be mercilessly depicted as hired stooges for the Evil Rich.  Racial politics will be aggressively deployed through surrogates, even as Obama continues the pretense of being a post-racial healer.

 

 

Divide and conquer.  With this conference call, the cowards of the GOP have divided and conquered.  They have conquered in the battle of revelation.  Obama wanted to reveal without cloud Osawatomie, Texas (lol) his utter disdain for the United States that we love and his desire to utterly transform us into pre-1990 Eastern Europe.  However, he could not come out of the closet alone except the bumbling stewards of Lincoln's party invite a liberal onto a conference call that is set to divide conservatives and Tea Partiers from the GOP.  Ladies and gentlemen, the GOP cowards are racing about to and fro advising that only an "Establishment" candidate can win this election.  Conservative America, you have one shot at this!  Like Tuco (Eli Wallach) said in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966), "When it's time to shoot, shoot, and shut up talking,"  Send a message to the GOP and Obama!  Vote for the most conservative person that you can find.  The Cowards have come and now it is time for them to be Gone!  Send the RINOs packing or else Greece or Spain may be your children's inheritance.

     After last night's show, I was walking in the "Third Heaven".  It was a tremendous joy to share the "Good News" in preparation for Thanksgiving with our ever growing audience.  Interviewing Stephen and Vickie Mitchell, Founders of The Moral Radio Show and Moral Radio Nation Network, brought to remembrance the very reasons for starting my own show on the American Conservative Nation Radio Network.  It was neither to present a perfect political philosophy nor to present a perfect orator of the doctrines of conservatism.  It was to point us towards the True Perfecter of our thoughts, words and deeds.  The Exceptional Conservative Show was established to help us, especially Urban Americans, delve into the cultural, religious and social foundations of conservatism. Never to dilute the product with inconsequential rhetoric or worldly compromise, the Show was a vehicle to bring Urban Americans into the Tent of Conservatism.  Conservatism is not a political party but a way of life.  It's universal principles are so succinct and prescient that they stand against the marvels of time and modernity.  There is a FAITH component to both the US Constitution and the Principles of Conservatism.  In the State of Nature, there is God upon which all governments are built upon His shoulders.  He ordains life, liberty and freedom for all mankind and allocates resources upon which His Sons remains stewards over.  It is in the gentle balance of liberty and property that propels the individual to enter into a social contract with his community.  This contract, the US Constitution, transfers limited powers from the Sovereign individual to the State.  It gives expressed powers to the state while respecting the individual's obeisance to God and his ordained freedoms within family and community.  Simply, the State serves the Individual whom serves God.  All natural rights are derived from the Sovereign and entrusted to the servant.  The service of one to another requires FAITH.  One of Conservatism's first principles is the recognition of a moral order.  Russell Kirk wrote, "First, the conservative believes that there exists an enduring moral order. That order is made for man, and man is made for it: human nature is a constant, and moral truths are permanent."  Understanding that the Created can not reorder the workings of the Creator and live in moral truth, it behooves men and women of great intellectual prowess to concede that the wars that we fight are not carnal yet, they are spiritual in essence.  The bankruptcy that shows up at the Federal Reserve is subject to a spiritual bankruptcy.  The behavior of the entitled is evident in the spiritual bankruptcy of the person.  The battles that exist--economic, social and political--are the resultant of the decomposition of moral order.  America is fighting a War of Faith.  Men once recognized that absolute faith in the personalities and philosophies of Mankind yielded absolute corruption.  American Patriots knew that absolute Faith in the Word and Principles of God would be the best ruler over the behavior and ideas of our citizenry.  America can be freed from this moral malfeasance.  However, we must overcome corruption and eliminate it as a practical business of unchecked Urban Power.

 

     Why are you going on and on about this, Ken?  Government is the only way that we can overcome the troubles lain before us.  We have a crushing National Debt of $14 trillion dollars.  The Democrats in Congress have not presented or approved a budget in almost 3 years.  Reported Unemployment is 9% and in some Urban Neighborhoods, it is as high as 46%.  The GOP just voted on legislation that would Cut, Cap and Balance the National Debt except that it would not cut or cap and would leave a hefty imbalance.  Obama believes that Americans are lazy and are not taxed enough.  Should we not focus on these issues?  How can we, common men and women, settle these issues?  "We must have FAITH in our government", you say.  I am not a Libertarian but I want you to listen to the words of one that has some wisdom of which I do agree.  Dr. Ron Paul on Morals:


"Too often some people who put themselves into the conservative fundamentalist camp think that, if you have more laws, you’ll be more moral. And I say that laws can’t make you moral. But if we are a moral people, which was advised by our Founders, then a free society can work. Then the laws can be moral. But you can’t do it the other way. You can’t mold people by more legislation. I’m sure you understand that because, if people have bad habits, just passing a lot of laws are not going to make them moral.

But if you have a correct moral understanding of the law, and I like to think about the moral understanding that Bastiat had about the law, the government can’t do anything that you and I can’t do, I think that’s quite different. And I bring that in the context of our religious beliefs and the Old Testament and the responsibility to the family and the local church, rather than the federal government trying to solve all our problems."

 

Our Constitution was not written that man would rely upon the powers extended the "visible" hand of government to resolve our every condition, circumstance and consequence.  Nor was it created with an allowance for men to exceed limited scope yielding rights to men that were not of the natural state.  Depending on the citizens' servants as the answer for the hope that lies within us awkwardly reforms the state of submission in the performance of duty and creates an environment where the relative few bureaucrats have been endowed with inordinate power over the greater masses that originally entrusted them with such privilege.  When our FAITH is built on patronage rather than stewardship then, we subject ourselves to the whims of every foreign doctrine and the promise of noble patronage.

 

     Political corruption is the use of legislated powers by government officials for illegitimate private gain.  Bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement are forms of corruption.  Seemingly, a day does not pass, in the Washington Metropolitan Area, when there is a report of such activity at the federal, state or local level.  House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. are accused of illegally trading stocks based upon coveted information or access. For people like you and me, that's Insider Trading!  What a fool Martha Stewart was,  All she had to do was become a Congresswoman and she would have been merely celebrating her strategy of getting back at the one (1%) per-centers!  I know, I know, my Libertarian friends.  Some people just have more and better information in making money.  There is no crime.  Don't we all profit from the wealth creations of others?  "But we now know that many of the senators who protected Fannie and Freddie, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Christopher Dodd, have received mind-boggling levels of financial support from them over the years", writes Kevin Hassett in "How the Democrats Created the Financial Crisis".  Oh yeah, he's talking about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, y'all.  Got another $7.6 Billion just lying around the house, America?  In Prince George's County, Maryland, former Prince George's County Executive Jack Johnson and his wife, Leslie Johnson, a former county councilwoman, are trying to hawk their new multi-million dollar idea to Victoria Secret's.  The Democrats use to shake down corporate leaders and developers, in a pay-to-play culture of government, for between $400,000 and $1 million in bribes.  In November 2010, Johnson was caught on a phone call secretly recorded by the FBI directing his wife to destroy an illicit $100,000 check from a developer and to conceal nearly $80,000 in cash in her undergarments.  This is when the NEXT BIG IDEA comes.  Patent a woman's underwear design that can provide support and hold shape but also conceal TOP DOLLARS.  We can just call it "BLING" at Victoria's Secret.  The Johnsons, when you get out, call me

 

     Locally, the DC City Council is more known for breaking the laws than writing them.  I guess that is the only way to gain perfection: "Practice. Practice. Practice."  The lineup is quite stunning when you think about it.  In remembrance of the season never to come, let's announce the starting line-up for DC Corruption.  Small Forward: Yvette Alexander.  Hit with $2,000 fine for use of Constituent Services Funds for Personal Use.  Shooting Guard: Kwame Brown. After negotiating a two Cadillac Escalade SUV contract, he was hit with a Complainant alleging that the Respondent Committee violated District of Columbia Official Code § 1-1102.06 (b)(10) by failing to timely report 53 expenditures totaling $169,431.49 in the total sum of all expenditures that were made by the Committee.  Point Guard: David Catania, master of the court of public opinion and coincidence, loads up on a $240,000 a year for a company that makes $9 million off of a DC government contract.  Power Forward: Harry L. Thomas, Jr. Using the resources of his DC Council Member office secretly diverted over $300,000 away from a non-profit youth organization to his own wallet.  There was concern that this injury would set him back a spell.  The Washington post reports, "Since the council returned from summer recess last month, Thomas has tried to project a sense of normalcy: voting on a tax increase and ethics proposals, questioning Mayor Vincent C. Gray (D) about jobs for city residents and participating in a campaign to prevent teen pregnancy by speaking out about having a son when he was 19."  Finally, it is who you came to see.  Mr. Prime-Time.  The Hardest Hustling Politician this Side of Congress.  Starting at Center, out of the Great State of Confusion, none other than Mayor for Life Marion Barry, Sr.  Barry has been plagued by misconceptions and false accusations since he became the starter.  However, he has played through and appears to be leading Team Corruption to a Title. 

 

     So just how does a city under the cult of Democrat rule deal with corruption successfully?  Firstly, you have to admit that there is a problem and that you are the reason for the problem.  Transparency International, the global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption, annually produces a Corruption Perception index (CPI).  Transparency believes that corruption hurts everyone, and it harms the poor the most.  Corruption has dire global consequences, trapping millions in poverty and misery and breeding social, economic and political unrest.  Corruption undermines democracy and the rule of law.  Corruption compounds political exclusion: if votes can be bought, there is little incentive to change the system that sustains poverty.  So Ken, you are saying that the Democrats must admit that they are corrupt and must surrender their power to the People so that the poor will prosper?  Transparency puts it this way:

 

Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. It hurts everyone whose life, livelihood or happiness depends on the integrity of people in a position of authority.

 

Wards 7, Council Member Yvette Alexander, and 8, Council Member Marion Barry, are the poorest communities in the District of Columbia.  Of Team Corruption DC, three out of five of the starters (The 3/5ths Compromisers) live in Wards 7 and 8 (including Council Chairman Kwame Brown).  The District of Columbia has a Board of Election and Ethics.  Should this be the place of Moral Order.  Not according to Muriel Bowser.  Never let a crisis not go to creating more waste, fraud and abuse in government.  Her answer: create another Board!  Yes, the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability.  That will stop 'em, Mary!  The bill's attempts to reform constituent service funds are reactionary, weak, and full of loopholes.  Just the way, Alexander wants them.  Listen, there are only two suggestions that will help with this scenario.  One, allow "We the People" to elect this Independent Board--and allow the Elected Attorney General to sit on it with the full proprietorial powers of DC Superior Court.  Secondly, allow the Ten Commandments to hang above the dais of the City Council.  Moses and the Ten Commandments can be seen as you walk up the steps of the US Supreme Court.  Each of the world's greatest law givers face him in the ornate display.  America's first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said, "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."  I would sincerely hope that "We the People" would send men and women of such moral character to the legislative offices of the United States that adherence to the laws of the land would not require endless legislation and crony oversight.  If your legislator can not submit to His authority--restraint from theft, lying, covetousness, etc.--then, how would he ever submit to your Free Willed authority.  The days are becoming few that such outright abuses of law and power will be tolerated.  It is the moment where we do not choose our leaders because of the color of their skin or because of past patronage--"He got me my first summer job!".  This is when "We the People" remove from office those that seek to do the work of the people for personal gain rather than the Will of the People for the General Welfare and Prosperity of the Nation, the State and the Urban community.

     One of the great times of my life and my living is Election season.  I have great love for politics and economics.  As a conservative, my passions for these blood sports led me to join the ACNation Radio Network and found the Exceptional Conservative Show.  I wanted to bring the "movers and shakers" that I meet daily in Washington, DC live to you.  I wanted to do this without the filter of the Lame Stream Media or Cable Stations that Represent the Inside the Beltway Establishment Opinion.  The Big Picture of politics and economics is often skewed when left in the capable hands of those that hope the GOP get a Grand Wizard like the DNC or that a Republican pundit believes that "our blacks are better than their blacks."  As one whom professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, I know the power of eye-witnessing.  In the Court of Public Opinion, it is merely enough to see or hear an allegation as to validate its truth and execute swift justice.  In the Courts of Law, where God has vested the expoloration of justice amongst human beings, it is with meekness that we craft our understandings and humility that we apply our knowledge.  Any wisdom offered apart from Divine Inspiration makes for foolish merriment and destructive behavior among men.  Unless duly changed by a wicked and vain legislature, Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and Oregon will express their consent of whom would best represent them in the White House effective January 2013.  I wish to encourage those that follow the soap opera known as the GOP Presidential Campaign to not lose focus on the true choices at hand.  At the lowest moments of our Nation's history, we need leaders that will not offer Infrastructure Banks as an example of action but offer the principles essential to rebuilding the main cog of economy--our people.

 

     Let me make this plain for all of those following along at home. There are only two issues at stake.  The first issues is political and Constitutional in its essential nature.  Issue One (Thank you, Mr. McLaughlin!): Will I rule my life or will the government run it for me?  Issue Two: If we keep spending, things will get and be better (Keynes) or We need to put the brakes on spending, return to 2008 budget assumptions and cut taxes and regulations (Hayek).  Either you support the US Constitution, are a free-market, free enterprise conservative or you are not.  I need to know (Thank you, Marc Anthony!).  For those that get a thrill up their leg because of the rise and fall of candidates, you need to get a clue.  It's the GAME!  You are watching displays of people at the height of their political careers presenting themselves and their beliefs to a people with the power to turn the channel in a moments notice if any bad news is received.  This American Idol presentation of classical liberalism and progressiveness demands a level of critique that seems to fail the group of pundits that are hired to make such observations.  It seems that the GOP Establishment and their Media pundits have bought hook line and sinker the mythical Barack Obama.  They still see the Barack Obama before the Columns in open celebration.  They hear his voice before the crowds of European liberals and socialists.  His ability to profound the Media with eloquent bluster and synchronicity of verve and pageantry has left many suffering from "Shock and Awe" syndrome.  His abilities were so heightened by God that he was deemed the Messiah by some and by others merely the Second Coming.  As he ascended to title and eminence, those that suffered beneath his policies were more quickly willing to subdue their common sense for the hopes that were promised:

 

Dude, do you seriously think that after only 6 months obama can magically raise the number of jobs? We need time and cooperation two things the GOP doesn't want to give. Instead, they criticize and put fear into idiot's minds.

     It is good to know that Mayor for Life Marion Barry, Council Member for Ward 8, has a plan.  Some may believe it is a plan to overcome the dramatic population loss in Ward 8.  When Mr. Barry was Mayor in 1980, Ward 8 had a population of 93,358.  As Ward 8 Council Member, Barry oversees a population of 70,712.  Maybe it is a plan to restore Ward 8 families from poverty to prosperity.  Mr. Barry as Mayor in 1980 witnessed 27% of Ward 8 families in poverty.  Today, as Ward Council Member, over 35% are in poverty.  Whether as Mayor or Council Member, the Father of the District's Socialist Democrats (His ardent support of the civil rights movement earned him the nickname "Shep", in reference to Soviet propagandist Dmitri Shepilov.) has never witnessed single District unemployment in Ward 8 amongst adults or teens.  In fact, the number of female headed households with children has risen from 67% in 1980 to 74% today.  Yes, three quarters of all children raised in this East of River Utopia have no FATHER in the home.  Ken, you are being to hard on the man.  Socialism and government dependency works, Ken.  It just takes time.  While Obama is known as the food stamp President, his success is merely a powder mirror image of the infamous man who gave every DC voter a summer job.  As his Mayor-ship ended, Ward 8 residents that obtained food stamps numbered 24,389.  Today, the number has risen to 35,423.  Yes, my Occupy DC Marxists, more than half of the adult population in Ward 8 depends upon the District and Federal government for their food!  Well, Ken, maybe the rich have gotten richer in Ward 8 and that's why the poor have gone without.  For the POOR, we need to tax the RICH Ward 8 residents more to pay for their education, their healthcare, their food, their shelter and their general welfare.  The RICH have gotten richer?  In 1979, the average family income (in 2010 $) was $46,902.  Today, that number has FALLEN to $44,076.  In the neighboring East of the River Ward 7 communities, the numbers are starkly equal or worse.  Legislative Utopian Yvette Alexander oversees a Ward 7 population has fallen from 92,841 in 1980 to present 71,068.  The poverty rate has risen from 22% in 1980 to 26% in 2010.  The unemployment rate has risen from 8.6% in 1980 to 19%, today.  Of Ward 7 families, 40% live in poverty, one-third (1/3) receive food stamps and average income has fallen from 1980's $58,619 to present $54,677.  Let's just make it plain, DC's Marxist, Socialist Economic Policies have not improved the financial lives of the citizens of either Ward 7 or Ward 8.

 

You have patiently waited.  So what is Mayor for Life Barry's Plan?

Marion Barry, towering figure of D.C. politics, has discussed bringing his four decades in public life to an end by kindling a family dynasty.

Barry, 75, has long been reluctant to acknowledge a District without himself in power. But in recent conversations with political associates, the former four-term mayor has openly considered his
political legacy, pondering whether the Barry brand — tarnished in many
corners of the city, but sterling in his home ward — might span another
generation.

In those conversations, Barry (D) has outlined plans to run for a third consecutive term as D.C. Council member for Ward 8 but serve only part of that time, backing his only son, Christopher Barry, to fill his seat.

 

It is the depressing KGB response to economic deprivation and social disdain that Ward 7 and Ward 8 residents have become accustomed.  There's no redress for the vile 40 years of absolute rule by Socialist Democrats in the Nation's Capital. Milton Friedman once asked, "Is it really true that political self-interest is nobler somehow than economic self-interest?"  Liberals that have never run from sourcing a noble cause with taxpayer's dollars and the cry for higher taxes see no insult in deigning a citizen's political seat an ornament of nobility for a family lineage.  Damn the poverty, full speed ahead!  It makes a hardened Democrat, like Ron Moten, find religion and run as a "Civil Rights" Republican.  What's a people to do when a government demands, without hearty protest, that it be served rather than serve?  What does an Urban American do when his governors adhere to the "laws of men" rather than the "rule of law"?  Thomas Jefferson and Our Founding Father's gave instruction on the most just cause:

 

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.

 

Or maybe The Joker said it best, "This town needs an enema!"

 

     Kirk Russell wrote that "a conservative is not, by definition, a selfish or stupid person; instead, he is a person who believes there is something in our life worth saving."  The District of Columbia needs to be saved.  If not the District of Columbia, those that least afford to live under the Despotism of the DC City Council--East of the River Citizens.  There is a time and a need for a declaration amongst men to be proclaimed in all of the Earth: "Set the citizens and residents free of the economic malfeasance of the Democrat controlled White House, US Congress, Mayor's Office and DC City Council.  Allow the East of the River families to live under the august proviso that all men are created equal with the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."  Yes, allow those that have been beaten into the submission to poverty to pursue the course of prosperity rather than to the Road to Misery.  Socialism and Marxism have not worked and will not work for those that need prosperity the most--the POOR.  The benevolent actions of a few with good intentions have led to generations of impoverished and undereducated persons seeking the rewards of equal outcomes and reaping the harvest of entitlement and dependency.  Allow the East of the River communities to pursue equal opportunity over the next 4 years with the same vigor that Socialist Democrats pursued poverty over the last 40 years.  Let the next 4 years be years of creation rather than destruction.  Let us not see another generation die off in the hopes that racism and the protections of our differences will save us.  in order that one city may know unity and prosperity, let this be the season that we place our trust once more in the innovation of man rather than the rut of government.

 

     I propose the Four Pillars of Prosperity that will lead to economic renewal and jettison many families out of the maze of poverty and into the open fields of success.  The Pillars are: (1) Create the Walter E. Washington Stakeholders Leadership Team; (2) Create the East of the River Power Zones; (3) Create a Free Market School Reform; and (4) Create a Free Market Health Care Reform.  Friedman opined, "Most economic fallacies derive from the tendency to assume that there is a fixed pie, that one party can gain only at the expense of another."  There are many that will read this and ask, "Then, what will happen to the government if you are successful with your Four Pillars?"  My answer is simple.  The DC Government will shrink from lack of need, will improve in the humility of servant leadership and will prosper in serving those isolated by greatest unmet need and surrendering those with desires unmet by dependency and bureaucracy.  Friedman said it this way, "So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear. That there is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by a free enterprise system."  Not all men want to be free.  However, all free men eventually serve with greater efficiency, more resources and unlimited ability those in bondage to their oppressors.  The East of the River Communities and all other Urban Communities would greatly improve and present the greatest evidences of the land of liberty and home of the brave if their governments would merely free the people to do what is ingrained in them since conception: PROSPER!

 

     Create the Walter E. Washington Stakeholders Leadership Team.  It would be comprised of free market advocacy groups, entrepreneurs, community groups, churches and private sector organizations.  The first person that recommends "government" as a solution to any community cause is expunged.  The purpose of this group is to identify barriers to economic development, present free market legislative proposals and promote economic activity in East of the River Communities.  Can you imagine a Pastor preaching to you on Sunday about how you came through for your community rather than how government came through for the community?!  The Stakeholders will develop plans and initiatives that will incentive state authorities and agencies and fellow stakeholders that lessen government dependency and reduce barriers to economic growth.  The organization will monitor poverty levels, unemployment levels, educational attainment and all other economic measures and take personal responsibility for success and failure.  The Stakeholders will report all successes and failures and compare outcomes with remaining 2/3rds of the city (Transparency? Who thought of That in DC Gov?) via a "Power Zone" website.

 

     With the approval of the US Congress and the White House, the DC Government will create a new "Goshen".  Not Biblically based on the ideals of dependency to a benevolent tyrant.  This Goshen will be built on the principles of the free market and capitalism.  This Goshen would be composed of the East of the River Communities of Wards 7 and 8.  The purposes of the "Power Zones" are to maximize economic activities and opportunities through the implementation of conservative free market initiatives that reduce the role of government and increase the earning power of the individual.  This area of the City would be liberated from the irresponsible mandates of the federal and state governments for example, the Bag Tax.  The goal of the Zone is to reduce the tax rates and expand the tax base.  The District charges a tax rate of 4% for incomes less than $9,999, 6% for incomes between $10,000 and $39,999 and 9% for incomes above $40,000.  A Minimum Wage worker earning $15,000/year pays $900.00.  A worker earning the median salary of $45,000 pays $4,050.00.  An upper class worker earning $100,000/year pays $9,000.00.  Under the Power Zone, there would be only two (2) tax rates: 4% for incomes less than $9,999 and 5% for incomes that are $10,000 or more.  A Minimum Wage worker earning $15,000/year saves $150.00.  A worker earning the median salary of $45,000 saves $1,800.00.  An upper class worker earning $100,000/year saves $4,000.00.  In an age where East of River residents have become accustomed to losing income, the Power Zone increases income and buying power.  The Flat Tax Rate for all Long Term Capital Gains and all Food and Prescription Drugs purchased from East of the River Businesses would fall to 0%.  All East of the River Businesses will pay a 5% tax rate rather than the City's 9.98% rate.  The Vendor Discount would be Raised to 5% on the First $2,500 of Sales Per Month.  This will make this Power Zone the most attractive in the US for businesses.  Energy Star Products will have their own Tax Holiday in the Power Zone.  Each May, Appliance Purchases up to $2,000 in East of the River Businesses would be Tax Free.  This will drive individuals to become entrepreneurs and businesses to establish themselves within the borders of the Zone.

 

     School Reform will be one of the central conservative cores of Revitalization of the Power Zone.  It will allow Parents of the “Power Zones” to use $10,000 to fund the choice of private education for their children.  The Vouchers will hold harmless private institutions from the legal attachments of the city in providing education services to students.  The students are not the property of the DC Government and should be encouraged to perform with excellence in the sphere of influence that will best promote their success.  The Voucher program will maintain the integrity of the schools that will educate the children and give parents in distressed learning communities the opportunity to educate their children in better performing schools.  The DC Public Schools per pupil rate is $16,408 per annum.  The Power Zone Voucher will allow the DC Government to save $6,408 per pupil.  If 150 East of the River High School students obtained vouchers, the city would save nearly $1 million ($961,200) and reduce classroom crowding.  The School Reform would allow District Individuals and Corporations a dollar for dollar donation deduction of up to $10,000 for direct contributions to “Power Zone” DC Public Schools.  This initiative would be known as the “Power Donors” Program.  Allowing the free market to pierce the four borders of public education allows public schools with union entrenchment to compete against "sleeker" learning institutions that prepare the child for success in and out of classroom, that compels the parent to actively particpate in the future and encourages teachers to remain traditional in the values taught and modern in its delivery. 

 

     Finally, Health Care Reform must be at the center of all reform.  The choice is simple: Individual or Government.  In an age where centralized management is preferred over the patient's natural inclination to choose what is best for him or her, the greatest cost savings in this entire free-market social experiment would be found in this activity.  The cost is liberty and freedom.  Once gone, there is no hope of repurchase.  Repeal the Certificate of Needs (CONS) Requirement for East of the River Communities.  Since new hospitals cannot be constructed without proving a "need," the certificate-of-need system grants monopoly privileges to already existing hospitals. Consequently, Alaska House of Representatives member Bob Lynn has argued that the true motivation behind certificate-of-need legislation is that "large hospitals are... trying to make money by eliminating competition" under the pretext of using monopoly profits to provide better patient care.  In a large minority population with a large contingency of poor, the certificate of need is detrimental.  It prevents needed medical providers from liberally selecting a marketplace.  This legislative barrier prevents such medical providers from meeting the needs of the most distressed.  Removing this burden will allow providers to build new surgical and urgent care facilities in the Wards, seed more providers and serve more citizens at a cost savings to the City. Secondly, Eliminate all licensing requirements for medical schools, hospitals, pharmacies, and medical doctors and other health care personnel within the “Power Zone”.  Members from voluntary organizations as the American Public Health Association, the American Cancer Society, the National Foundation, the American National Red Cross, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and others will comprise an independent Board that will assure the Public of the viability of every medical provider in the “Power Zone”.  I assure you that Medical Physicians and other Scientific Entities would come from miles around to build offices and centers in the Zone.  Construction creates jobs (especially if you elect a Congress that will repeal the Bacon-Davis Act and the City Council repeals the Living Wage and Minimum Wage Laws).  I say to Washington and the World, after 40 years in the desert and desolation, What could possibly be Lost?  Creation and Empowerment are the Last Hopes of Urban America.  It is time for Urban America to declare its Independence from the Noblemen of the Left.

     What's Love Got to Do With It?  The second single on Tina Turner's Private Dancer in 1984 marked an "amazing comeback" by a singer-song writer whom overcame the cocaine addiction of a spouse, domestic violence, divorce, debt and an extensive business dry-spell. It is her only number one hit in US Pop Music History.  Yet, the songstress was not deemed exceptional because she had a number one song.  There are a multitude of one-hit wonders that could share such accolades.  Tina Turner is exceptional not because of the circumstances and obstacles that caused weaker persons to fall by the wayside. Every man, woman and child will face a burden so substantially that it will bring them to their knees.  She got up!  Turner was recognized by the Kennedy Center Honors at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and was elected to join an elite group of entertainers.  President Bush commented on Turner's "natural skill, the energy and sensuality",  She is exceptional because she remained resolute in the midst of downturn, faithful to her ambition to succeed and unyielding in performing with the excellence that it would take to garner world recognition.  What does love have to do with it?  Love has everything to do with a commitment to servant leadership that seeks to preserve the greatness one inherits and the profitable stewardship by which one is noted in leaving an inheritance.  As George Washington observed, you must love this nation unceasingly in order to maintain its exceptional mystique.

     Fareed Zakaria hosts CNN’s flagship foreign affairs show, is Editor-at-Large of TIME Magazine, a Washington Post columnist, and a New York Times bestselling author.  Liberals and those stuck in airports, train or bus stations tune into him on Sundays at 10 AM and 1 PM on CNN.  Forbes, in January 2009, referred to Zakaria as one of the 25 most influential liberals in media.  While I have never subscribed to his political or economic opinion, others find him quite addictive.  Maybe my envy of his handsome persona blinds me to his stellar ability to pick winners and losers in public policy.  On his CNN program in 2008, Zakaria endorsed Barack Obama for the 2008 US Presidential Election.  How did Barack Obama pay him back?  He chose to follow the advice of the man of a 1,000 political philosophies.  In preparation to take the helm of the Most Powerful Nation in the History of Mankind, he spent time perusing the global policy etchings of the CNN mastermind.  Finding great ease toting the published manuscript about as he traveled, the Most Powerful Man in the Free World was coached on how to accept his place behind China, Russia, India and Brazil.  What better advice could Obama have received?   Prepare for  The Post-American World.  According to Amazon, the Global Policy Guru "describes with equal prescience a world in which the United States will no longer dominate the global economy, orchestrate geopolitics, or overwhelm cultures. He sees the "rise of the rest"—the growth of countries like China, India, Brazil, Russia, and many others—as the great story of our time, and one that will reshape the world."  What followed such great advice?  The Obama Apology Tour!  "I'm grateful that President [Daniel] Ortega did not blame me for things that happened when I was three months old," Mr. Obama said after the Nicaraguan delivered a 52-minute anti-American tirade that touched on the Bay of Pigs.  Somehow, sold on apologies as a sexy foreign policy, Obama traveled the world.  The impact?  He left such an indelible mark that liberal newspapers feel they must fact check the sins away from the apologies.  The impact?  An exceptional nation is weakened in the eyes of those that respect only strength.  That same weakness abroad has been awakened at home and endorsed by the ONE deemed Executive of the Oval Office.

 

     Nothing stirs the heart of a man more than, at 2 AM feeding, look into the eyes of his daughter and know that she will bear the burdens of economic and foreign policy decisions of the ONE called President.  Andy Barr, conservative candidate for Congress out of the great sta... (6D), said. "It kinda makes you mad that politicians can be so selfish..."  While many in Election 2012 will turn to the President as the Sage of Economic Recovery, his or her greatest role is military and foreign affairs.  According to Article 1, Section 2 of the US Constitution, the primary role of the President is military and foreign policy.  I digress for a moment.  Many commentators, inclusive of yours truly, have rightly questioned Herman Cain's military and foreign policy experience.  However, Cain spent six years in the United States Department of Navy, which provides operational and organizational support for both the Navy and Marines.  Cain supports the Bush Doctrine.  Which one of the many is questionable?  Of those in major foreign and military power today--Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Obama--none had military experience.  Their foreign policy skills were developed through Congressional briefings from the Pentagon and State Department.  By the way, Obama campaigned for two of the three years that he served in Congress as a Senator from Illinois and before that, he a community rabble rouser like the ones that shut down the Air and Space Museum.  I return to my road well worn.  If anything that the Obama Presidency has wrought America, it is a diminished image of a unique people that pursued equality, liberty, rule of law and free market enterprise with fervor.

 

     What proof have you that we are weaker?  Let us look at two things.  One, the "hot, flat and crowded" theory that Zakaria builds upon in his writing.  Secondly, the booty obtained by the four nations before us in the treasured foreign policy of the ONE.  Zakaria borrows themes from Thomas Friedman, author of Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution--and How It Can Renew America.  The “Hot” is the global warming problem among industrializing nations.  The “Flat” is the growth of the middle class in all nations that are industrializing and reducing available resources.  The “Crowded” is the overpopulation of the planet that comes with global trade and technological advances.  Don't worry!  No lawsuit here for they loved exposing us to the scientific data that showed mankind frying the planet like an egg in a skillet.  O!  What's that?  There is no such thing as man-made global warming.  We know because GE will be shipping technologically advanced equipment overseas to lower emissions of the Far East's totalitarian industrialists.  Whew, at least they are creating jobs at home!  Whoah, Biff!  GE is taking the jobs over to the Far East to create middle class jobs for totalitarian regimes.  So what are we going to do about their overpopulation?  No worries!  We will reduce our own population and control it.  Obama will sign an Executive Order turning control of various US agency programs under Agenda 21.  A Central Planning Agency controlled by the United Nations.  One World Order at the expense of American Exceptionalism.  Settle any disharmony, we will take a  trip to the Heartland with a bus made in Canada.  We will have them toast us to Green Jobs!  Nothing could go wrong there!  Hey Boss, there are no real green jobs.  Really?  Yeah Boss and I quote:

 

A new report by the Labor Department's Office of Inspector General examined a $500 million grant under the stimulus program to the Employment and Training Administration to "train and prepare individuals for careers in 'green jobs.'" So far about $162.8 million has been spent. The program was supposed to train 125,000 workers, but only 53,000 have been "trained" so far, only 8,035 have found jobs, and only 1,033 were still in the job after six months.

 

Former lib Democratic pol/CNN host Eliot Spitzer told Fareed Zakaria it “brought a smile to my face” and “makes my heart warm” to learn President Obama “calls you for wisdom and advice about issues around the world.”  Such great advice from a visionary that sees the US ranked fifth.  


     Secondly, let's see what foreign policy merits us the patriot citizen clinging to his guns and his religion.  Let's start with China,  This great nation of Mao Tse Tung holds $1,173.5 billion in US Debt.  Only Japan is safer with $914.8 billion in US Debt.  What did this buy Mainland China?  How about the right to tell the President of the Free World that the US had better shape and follow free market principles or else China will stop buying US debt.   Just starting a shopping spree.  Please add more to your military.  A number of J-20 Stealth Fighter Jets were added and tested.  Refurbish an aircraft carrier and plan to build two more.  The US military believes China appears on track to field a modern, regionally focused military by 2020.  Not a bad investment of US Dollars.  But there is one more thing, tell your friend Taiwan to stick it!  How dare you China?  We would never tell our best friend in the Far East to stick it.  We would never throw them under the bus?!  Let's see if they get the planes.  Russia gets a sweet Arms Treaty approved by RINO's on their way out of Washington after being pummeled in Election 2010.  What do we get?  Obama is endorsed by Putin.  Brazil drills for oil and natural gas in the Gulf of Mexico while Americans remain unemployed on the shores of Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.  India?  Every call to have your cellular phone activated or personal computer trouble shooted.  Enough said!

If lately is 1796 and the original tester is President George Washington then, Kathleen, you are in the ballpark.  It seems that the longer Obama remains in office the weaker we become at home and abroad.  In a scheme that I believed only Hollywood could fathom, Iran conjures a plan to assassinate a Saudi Arabian Ambassador using a Mexican Cartel on American soil.  This ain't CSI or Law and Order.  This is REAL!  Was this even considered as an attempt under the Bush Administration.  Historian Gordon Wood has argued, "Our beliefs in liberty, equality, constitutionalism, and the well-being of ordinary people came out of the Revolutionary era.  So too did our idea that we Americans are a special people with a special destiny to lead the world toward liberty and democracy."  We once sent our best and brightest to fight the battles of liberty and democracy first by trade and then, war.  We believed that our strength was in our people and their individual desire to pursue life, liberty and property without guarantee of outcome or safety net of government.  Now, we have become a nation of entitled brats that seek a flag to defecate on because we can not garner a free car, a free house, a free education and a life free from work balanced on the backs of the rich.  In 1929, Soviet leader Joseph Stalin chastised members of the American Communist Party for believing that America was independent of the Marxist laws of history "thanks to its natural resources, industrial capacity, and absence of rigid class distinctions."  In 2011, a White House Marxist chastises the US Congress for not supporting class distinctions, reducing industrial productivity with regulations and forbidding any American company from excavating our nation's resources.  The Obama Presidency has wrought us the same malaise as the Jimmy Carter era.  Each blew out the candle on American Exceptionalism.  It will take an army of conservatives to reignite the candle that will allow America to shine like a light upon a hill.
