    Hi Paul, you're registration for this site is with and through the NING family of Social Networking Sites. NING owns this site and all other similar sites within their network. The cost of these sites is primarily paid for by advertising published therein, but now they have elected to limit access to the FREE services and charge for these sites. This will necessitate many similar groups to discontinue using NING, and find alternative venues for networking. On the question of groups in NY to belong and participate, there is such a group you can find by clicking on the GROUPS tab at top of your "MY PAGE" page, and join your "STATE GROUP" There, you may find others who are more familiar with what's happening in your local area.     I am a businessmand and a published songwriter. I write songs advancing Traditional American Values. I have written a song advancing the principles that the Tea Party stands for. It is available for anyone that wants to motivate members and others at no charge. It is called: "The Silent Majority is Silent no More."
