4064223449?profile=originalWhile supporting "The Donald" might be hard to stomach, the establishment has to be made aware of who they work for.

Our elected officials, once in office seem to change and become part of the problem.  When we won house and senate and still couldn't get the upper hand, voters decided enough is enough.

I think Trump, if he doesn't surround himself with the right people, will fail miserably. He does not command much respect if you ask me.

But.....I am glad he does not have a political past like this! Trump calls Cruz a liar.

Watch this from the presumptive Democratic nominee.

Is My Islamophobia Justified?

A  German's View on Islam

This is one of the best explanations of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is Dr. Emanuel Tanya, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist.   A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and  estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many  more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.'

'My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

'We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is a religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.'

'The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is  the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.'

'The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and  extraneous. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about
20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.'

'The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of
12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery? Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

'History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will  have begun.'

'Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.'

'Now Islamic prayers have been introduced in Toronto and other public  schools in Ontario , and, yes, in  Ottawa ,  too, while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?). The  Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the  fanatics move in.'

'In Australia , and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket. Food on aircraft have the halal emblem just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation's shores.'

'In the U. K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of "no-go" zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not  intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law.'

'As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts - the fanatics who threaten our way of life.'

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this without  sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

Extend yourself a bit and send  this on. Let us hope that thousands world-wide read this, think about it,  and send it on before it's too late, and we are silenced because we were silent!!!
Those of you who know "peaceful" Muslims, ask them what they are doing to eradicate Radical Muslims.

Three Stages of Jihad

I am a card carrying Islamophobe,  though not by choice.

America, built on freedom of religion, should re-assess the Radical Muslims.

Below is a link to a 2 page pamphlet called 3 stages of jihad. It is easier to print and fold it than to read from the adobe screen.

In it, you will get a sense of how Muslims operate. Now, I do think there are Muslims that are decent enough people that may not take the Quran 100% to heart so, I try not to condemn all of them. But, after reading 3 stages of jihad, I  wondered why, if the acts of the radical Muslims disgusts the "peaceful" ones, why are they not attempting to help stop them. It is probably because they are in stage 1.

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwroQHEibOXlUTU1TDd4RjhzdDQ/edit?pli=1

Ever wonder if they despise the West so much, why do they move to it? It is so they can attack from within when the time is right. This is why it is a mistake to allow them their own "infidel free" zones.

Radical Islam has it's foot in the door and we MUST stomp it!

Pot Calling The Kettle..

On todays Tea Party home page is this article. Holder seems to think he and Obama have racial targets on their backs. I'll admit there may be some racism but, could it possibly be you are doing a crappy job? If so, wouldn't you be the racist for thinking this is a racial issue?

July 13, 2014 10:23 am

‘There’s a certain level of vehemence’

(The Hill) – Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday he and President Obama have been targets of “a racial animus” by some of the administration’s political opponents.

“There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me [and] directed at the president,” Holder told ABC. “You know, people talking about taking their country back. … There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there’s a racial animus.” [ We simply want to "take our country back" from some idiots. Skin color not the issue.]

Holder said the nation is in “a fundamentally better place than we were 50 years ago.” [True, what is more important is, are we in a better place than 5 years ago?]

SPECIAL: Join the Tea Party REVOLUTION! The Obama Regime must be dismantled!

“We’ve made lots of progress,” he said. “I sit here as the first African-American attorney general, serving the first African-American president of the United States. And that has to show that we have made a great deal of progress. [Good for you!  But, progress for your race should be secondary to the progress of the nation.]

“But there’s still more we have to travel along this road so we get to the place that is consistent with our founding ideals,” he said. [If your "founding ideals" are destroying America, you're almost there.]

He also stood by his controversial comments made during Obama’s first year in office, in which he said the U.S. was a “nation of cowards” when it comes to race. [If I understand that comment, he is correct. However, if your administration's actions and deeds were admirable, I believe most racists would not care i.e. it doesn't matter what color you are if you are doing your job well.]

“I wouldn’t walk away from that speech,” Holder said. “I think we are still a nation that is too afraid to confront racial issues,” rarely engaging “one another across the color line [to] talk about racial issues.” [Look Eric, you admitted America is better than 50 years ago. As each hard core racist generation dies out, full equality is getting closer. There are more mixed race families than ever before. Racism will never be fully eradicated but, at some point skin color won't matter . God made us in his image....all of us.]

The attorney general also pointed to Republican efforts to enact stricter voter ID laws in southern States as evidence that more needed to be done to protect minority rights. Republicans have maintained the efforts are designed to prevent voter fraud, while Democrats say instances of fraud are exceedingly rare, and far outpaced by the minority population that does not have identification that would be unable to vote. [On this I ask, what are you afraid of Eric? If voter fraud isn't prevalent, what harm is it in having all voters show ID.  And, why wouldn't everyone of voting age not have an ID already. If no other government entity required ID where do you think we would be? I personally would   file false tax returns. Your argument that it is a hardship to ID everyone is B S. Most of these potential voters are on welfare or some other form of government assistance....they have to have ID for that don't they? Finally, most everyone receiving government assistance are accustomed to free assistance and, wouldn't want that to change.  They will vote Democrat anyway. Voter ID is not a racist issue.]

Holder called the laws “political efforts” designed to make it “more difficult” for “groups that are not supportive of those in power” to “have access to the ballot.” [Again, voter ID would probably only help the Democrats. It is just the right thing to do.]

“Who is disproportionately impacted by them? Young people, African Americans, Hispanics, older people, people who, for whatever reason, aren’t necessarily supportive of the Republican Party,” Holder said, adding that “this notion that there is widespread in-person voter fraud is simply belied by the facts.” [Then what is the problem?]

Holder said the Justice Department was planning legal challenges of new voting laws in Ohio and Wisconsin. It has previously filed suit in Texas and North Carolina. [...and keep trying until they change it.  Hey, how about enforcing laws already on the books?]

“I’m attorney general of the United States. … I will not allow people to take away that which people gave their lives to give, and that is the ability for the American people to vote,” Holder said. [That sounds like he is quoting the Constitution or something. No one is trying to deny anyone the right to vote.  The people who gave their lives so citizens can vote, also fought for free speech and, to protect us from threats from home and abroad. I submit that you, Eric Holder are as racist as the people you are accusing. Your comments will be read and heard by people who (for some strange reason) look up to and admire you. They will now fuel the fire you started.  You have set the cause back by opening your mouth.

Whats In An Acronym? AWOP

Why is political correctness become such a burr under our saddle?

Check this out.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel have been directed to no longer refer to illegal immigrant children crossing the border alone as “UACs” (unaccompanied alien children).

Instead these individuals are to be referred to as “unaccompanied children” in official correspondence, according to an internal ICE email obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies and shared with Breitbart News.

“This was briefed earlier today during he (sic) command and staff meeting,” an email sent to ICE personnel reads. “It has been requested that in correspondence regarding unaccompanied children, They (sic) not be referred to as UACs. The term UAC should not be used in official correspondence.”

The email, with the subject line “UACs,” continues, “The appropriate messaging on documents should be using the term : unaccompanied children all lower case. (Unless capitalizing would be grammatically correct).”

ICE did not respond to requests for comment.

While ICE has been discouraged from using UAC as an official term, Customs and Border Protection is still using “unaccompanied alien children” (ages 0-17 years old) as an official term as it tallies the number it is apprehending at unprecedented levels along the southwest border.

From October 1 to June 15, more than 52,000 unaccompanied illegal immigrant minors have been detained crossing the border.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/07/03/ICE-to-No-Longer-Refer-to-Unaccompanied-Minors-as-UACs

The article doesn't mention who requested the change but, ask
yourself who would be offended by the word alien?
My guess is the acronym started out as being UIACs
(Unaccompanied Illegal Alien Children) but, not to
offend them (even though they are), the word illegal dropped.
Oh, and alien is just too harsh to call childern that
have been through so much.
If it walks, swims and quacks like aduck, its a damned duck.
I guess they feel softening the acronym makes everyone all
warm and fuzzy inside. Illegal aliens (the term I use
because I don't descriminate against age) are non-Americans
here illegally, period.

I can imagine some rejected acronyms like:
Children Being Sent Here To Turn Our Nation Into A Third
World Country or, CBSHTTONIATWC. Admittedly, not very catchy.
Future Democrats of America or FDA. Already taken.
Additional Burdens to the Welfare System or, ABWS. Doesn't
flow off the tongue.
My favorite, so far is: Aliens WithOut Papers or, AWOPs.
It has a little sumptin' sumptin'.
Think I will submit this to ICE and see what happens.

Enlighten Me On Fundraising

I'll admit when it comes to politics, I don't know all the processes. So, can you guys answer some concerns of mine on fundraisers (FRs)?

My research is admittedly lacking but, as of 6/12/2012 he had accumulated 160 fundraisers* and, since the beginning of his second term until 3/16/2014 had 45 more. So, close to or over 200 total. I also read that the average time he spends speaking and such is @ 2 hours. That adds up to over 16 days of being "out-of-office".

*He opted out of the public election fund but, doubt if that applies to FRs since sworn in in 2008.

I assume each fundraiser our Muslim in Chief (and other presidents) goes on, we foot the bill.

#1 question is why?  If I am not associated with that party, why should I foot the bill?

#2 question is, are there limits to the number and frequency?

It seems to me the cost of security, Air Force One and, all that goes along with a presidential public appearances on that many fundraisers is quite excessive and, obviously, one sided. The link below discusses his various trips abroad. The report states that according to the Freedom of Information Act, Air Force One, all by itself, costs $228,000 per hour. I think it is safe to say he is not trying to save us any money.

Lets say he flies from D.C. to California, a round trip of 10 hours. $228,000 X 10 = $ 2,228,000 just for airfair!!!!!  What are the odds his fundraising exceeds the cost of the trip getting there? Even on a short trip?

If he truly had fiscal responsibility in mind, he would fundraise via video conference.

Making It Easier To Impose Martial Law?

Okay, I understand how law enforcement agencies would love to have free armored vehicles to better protect themselves and the public but, I can't help but think there are strings attached. Nothing is ever truly free.

Here is what I fear: The government disperses MRAPs throughout the country and, at a time of Obama's choosing, imposes martial law. He then has the military re-take the MRAPs and use them against us.

 Or, I'm totally paranoid.

Surplus US military gear, including MRAPs, going to local police

reporter_serrie_061314.jpg?ve=1&tl=1

The large armored truck parked outside the Florence County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina offers deputies more protection than they’re likely to ever need.

“But if it exceeds our needs, then it will obviously meet our needs,” explained sheriff’s Capt. John Crouse, adding that his county didn’t have to pay a dime for the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle.

That's because at the end of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the U.S. military is offering surplus equipment to trusted agencies and governments on an “as is/where is” basis. Due to the high cost of shipping the equipment, such as MRAPs, many of those already overseas are being offered to allies in the region.

Still, hundreds of MRAPs are available stateside, and being offered up to local police forces.

The vehicle Florence County acquired had been used for training.

“They’ve saved countless lives for our forces on the battlefield,” said Alan Estevez, principal deputy under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics. “And if local law enforcement can use them, it’s a benefit to the taxpayer.”

The military-transfer program has allowed police departments on tight budgets to obtain equipment ranging from binoculars to M16 rifles.

But the program also has its critics, who say arming police with military-grade equipment blurs the lines between cops and soldiers and encourages unnecessary confrontations and injuries.

“The military is trained to search and destroy — to go find the enemy and subdue them,” said Tim Lynch, director of the Project on Criminal Justice with the Cato Institute, a libertarian think thank. “What we want from our civilian police departments is to use the absolute minimum amount of force that may be necessary in some cases to bring a suspect into a court of law, where disputes can be resolved peacefully.”

While some police agencies using military equipment have faced pushback from the communities they serve, Florence County authorities say their MRAP has been well received because they use it judiciously. It’s been called into action three times over the year they’ve had it — once to respond to a barricaded gunman, and two times to stage offsite as backup while deputies were serving high-risk warrants.

“It’s totally defensive,” said Capt. Crouse. “There are no weapons on it at all. It’s a big heavy truck that just stops bullets.”

Fox News' Chip Bell contributed to this report.

Jonathan Serrie joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in April 1999 and currently serves as a correspondent based in the Atlanta bureau.

Happy Memorial Day

4063905443?profile=originalThank You

To those who have paid the ultimate price defending our country,
we can not thank you enough.

Oh, the stories my father-in-law told. My own father who served in the Army, never
disclosed much about his time in the service. He had his reasons.
Reuban (Lee) on the other hand was a fountain of information. Some of my facts
may be fuzzy but, they are close enough.

He was a flight engineer in the Air force.  When the "Japs bombed Pearl",
the game was on. All able bodies gladly volunteered to conquer  the enemy. The big
stories of WW2 in the pacific was centered around Midway. However,
just as important was what was going on in
the Aleutian islands off the coast of Alaska.
The Aleutians were strategic in how close they were to Japan. I'm
sure there were others but, the main islands in the chain Lee talked about
were Adak and Kiska.
The 1st thing the Air force had to do was build a runway for the aircraft
The way he described it to me was, tractors leveled things out and metal
grates were laid down for landing and take off. He hated the cold from then
 on.
The order of missions un-certain but, #1. America had a new technology called
radar. it was crude but effective. He flew in a bomber. He took joy in describing
how they would "fly those zeros into a cloud full of rocks". What that meant was
bombers were slow and the Japanese fighters would follow them into the clouds
to shoot them down. Having radar, the bombers would fly directly at a mountain and, pull up at the
last minute. The Japanese, being blind, flew to their demise.
#2 Another mission found Lee to be replaced by another flight engineer. That flight
got shot down....no survivors. Lucky Lee
As if luck not on his side enough, yet another mission #3 had a shell go right through
the wing but not explode or ignite the fuel. Plane landed safely and no casualties.
It might have been the same mission where they took heavy machine gun fire that
resulted in many holes in fuselage but no casualties.
Planes of WW2 had no heat to speak of nor were they pressurized. At altitude, temps in
planes were very, very cold.

These, ladies and gentlemen are just a couple of the stories from one guy who didn't play
that big a part in the outcome of the war yet, the sum of the contributions of all are what makes
our military the best on the planet.

On this Memorial day with all of the sales and sporting events, it is easy to forget why this holiday exists. Please take a moment to acknowledge those who voluteered and died to protect your freedom.

In loving memory of Reuban Lee Casteel and, Robert Lee Irby

What Are Christians To Do?

As Christians, it is our duty to protect Israel and her people. It is painfully obvious that our Muslim in Chief does not share this with us. On his watch, he has made November Muslim appreciation month and, somehow bypassing separation of church and state laws, is adding teaching of Islam to our school children. Under our past administrations (Democrats included), I had never felt like we were failing Israel as bad as we are now. What is as Christian American to do?

One Week After Russia's Crimean Invasion, US Imposes Travel Sanctions...Against Israelis

IsraelTravelAP.jpg

bb-contributor-80x100-TRose.png

At the same time the US State Department is relaxing entry requirements to visa applicants with Islamist terrorist connections, and reassuring President Putin of Russia that any sanctions against travel to the US placed upon those responsible for Russia's invasion Ukraine will be limited to no more than a "few dozen" named individuals, it is dramatically increasing its rejection rate of Israelis seeking visas to visit the US.
While the State Department denies it, Israeli officials now suspect  their country is being deliberately sanctioned as part of an unannounced administration policy to punish the Jewish state. This week their fears were publicly shared by none other than administration ally NY Senator Charles Schumer, who, in a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry,  demanded an end to the “State Department policy of categorically denying young Israelis tourist visas that makes it nearly impossible for any young Israeli to visit the U.S.”

The harsh and unexplained crackdown against Israeli tourists, first felt in 2009 has been tightening ever since, particularly, say those familiar with the matter, within the last year. When first imposed, the travel bans were extended to all young Israelis seeking to visit the US after completing their compulsory military service. Israeli reports examining such records show that, starting in 2012, rejections of Israeli visa requests were applied preemptively and categorically to all Israeli nationals of student age.

The State Department confirms there has been a 400% increase in the visa refusal rate for Israeli citizens since 2007, when only 2.5% of all Israeli visa requests were denied, as compared to 2013 when 9.7% were. In fact, rejection rates for Israeli visa applicants were so high in 2013, that Israel was expelled from the State Department’s visa waiver program. Some of the countries whose citizens are eligible to participate the US visa waiver program, in addition to traditional and treaty allies like Canada and the UK, include Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

When Welfare Pays Better Than Work

4063834243?profile=original

The Cato Institute (Michael D. Tanner) released a study showing that welfare benefits pay more than a minimum wage job in 33 states and the District of Columbia. Even worse, welfare pays more than $15 per hour in 13 states.

According to the study, welfare benefits have increased faster than minimum wage. It ’ s now more profitable to sit at home than it is to earn an honest day ’ s pay.

Hawaii is the biggest offender, where welfare recipients earn $29.13 per hour, or a $60,590 yearly salary, all for doing nothing.

Now do you think we should reform 'Welfare' ?

Income Inequality In A Nutshell

January 2014, Bob Lonsberry, a Rochester journalist and talk radio personality on WHAM 1180 AM wrote this in response to Obama's  "income inequality speech" .

           Two Americas

The Democrats are right, there are two Americas.
The
America that works, and the America that doesn't.
The
America that contributes, and the America that doesn't.
It's not the haves and the haven'ts, it's the dos and the don'ts.
Some people do their duty as Americans, obey the law, support themselves, contribute to society, and others don't. That's the divide in
America.

It's not about income inequality, it's about civic irresponsibility.
It's about a political party that preaches hatred, greed and victimization in order to win elective office.
It's about a political party that loves power more than it loves its country. It's not invective, it's truth, and it's about time someone said it.
The politics of envy was on proud display a couple weeks ago when president Obama pledged the rest of his term to fighting "income inequality." He noted that some people make more than other people, that some people have higher incomes than others, and he says that's not just.

That is the rationale of thievery.  The other guy has it, you want it, Obama will take it for you. Vote Democrat.
That is the philosophy that produced
Detroit. It is the electoral philosophy that is destroying America.
It conceals a fundamental deviation from American values and common sense because it ends up not benefiting the people who support it, but a betrayal.

The Democrats have not empowered their followers, they have enslaved them in a culture of dependence and entitlement, of victimhood and anger instead of ability and hope.
The president's premise - that you reduce income inequality by debasing the successful - seeks to deny the successful the consequences of their choices and spare the unsuccessful the consequences of their choices.
By and large, income variation in society is a result of different choices leading to different consequences. Those who choose wisely and responsibly have far greater likelihood of success, while those who choose foolishly and irresponsibly have a far greater likelihood of failure. Success and failure frequently manifest themselves in personal and family income.
You choose to drop out of high school and you are apt to have a different outcome than someone who gets a diploma and pushes on with purposeful education.
You have your children out of wedlock and life is apt to take one course, you have them within a marriage and life is apt to take another course.

My doctor makes far more than I do. There is significant income inequality between us. Our lives have had an inequality of outcome, but, our lives also have had an inequality of effort. While my doctor went to college and then devoted his young adulthood to medical school and residency, I got a job in a restaurant.
He made a choice, I made a choice, and our choices led us to different outcomes. His outcome pays a lot better than mine.
Does that mean he cheated and Barack Obama needs to take away his wealth? No, it means we are both free men in a free society where free choices lead to different outcomes.
It is not inequality Barack Obama intends to take away, it is freedom.
The freedom to succeed, and the freedom to fail.  There is no true option for success if there is no true option for failure.
The pursuit of happiness means a whole lot less when you face the punitive hand of government if your pursuit brings you more happiness than the other guy. Even if the other guy sat on his a... and did nothing. Even if the other guy made a lifetime's worth of asinine and shortsighted decisions.
Barack Obama and the Democrats preach equality of outcome as a right, while completely ignoring equality of effort.
The simple Law of the Harvest - as ye sow, so shall ye reap - is sometimes applied as, "The harder you work, the more you get."  Obama would turn that upside down. Those who achieve are to be punished as enemies of society and those who fail are to be rewarded as wards of society.
Entitlement will replace effort as the key to upward mobility in American society if Barack Obama gets his way. He seeks a lowest common denominator society in which the government besieges the successful and productive to foster equality through mediocrity.
He and his party speak of two
Americas and their grip on power is based on using the votes of one to sap the productivity of the other.

America is not divided by the differences in outcomes, it is divided by the differences in efforts.  It is a false philosophy to say one man's success comes about unavoidably as the result of another man's victimization.
What Obama offered was not a solution, but a separatism. He has fomented division and strife, pitted one set of Americans against another for his own political benefit.  That's what socialists offer.
Marxist class warfare wrapped up with a bow.
Two
Americas, coming closer each day to proving the truth to Lincoln's maxim that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

First Lady Michelle Obama won't rule out plastic surgery, Botox

Michelle Obama, who turns 50 later this week, isn't ruling out using plastic surgery or Botox in the future.

"Women should have the freedom to do whatever they need to do to feel good about themselves," the first lady told People magazine in an interview hitting newsstands Friday, her birthday. "Right now, I don't imagine that I would go that route, but I've also learned to never say never."

Her message to women is to be healthy. Mrs. Obama says she has never missed a health checkup, including mammograms and Pap smears. She's also had a colonoscopy.

"I don't obsess about what I eat, but I do make sure that I'm eating vegetables and fruit," added Mrs. Obama. "And as everyone knows, I do exercise." Her "Let's Move" campaign to reduce childhood obesity rates through the combination of exercise and healthier eating enters its fifth year next month.

Her workouts have also evolved from weight-bearing and cardio exercises to include things like yoga that she says will help keep her flexible.

Asked whether she has peaked at 50, Mrs. Obama joked that being first lady is "pretty high up." She said she's always felt that her life is "ever-evolving" and she doesn't have the right to "just sit on my talents or blessings."

"I've got to keep figuring out ways to have an impact, whether as a mother or as a professional or as a mentor to other kids," the first lady said, noting that daughter Malia, now 15, will be in college when she and President Barack Obama leave the White House in January 2017. Daughter Sasha, 12, won't be far behind.

"At that point in life, whoa, the sky is the limit," Mrs. Obama said.

President Obama is planning a big birthday dance party for his wife at the White House on Saturday night. Aides are keeping a tight lid on details to maintain the element of surprise for Mrs. Obama. Guests have been told to come prepared to dance and to eat before they come.

"There's one thing I can tell you for sure ... people will move," Valerie Jarrett, a senior White House adviser who is close to the Obamas, told The Associated Press.

Jarrett wouldn't comment on reports that Beyonce, who also is close to the Obama family, will sing at the first lady's party. Beyonce serenaded the Obamas as they danced at one of the balls for the president's first inauguration in 2009. Last year, she lip-synced to a pre-recorded voice track of the national anthem at Obama's second swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol.

Coincidentally, Beyonce's husband, rapper and entrepreneur Jay Z, is scheduled to bring his Magna Carter World Tour to Washington's Verizon Center on Thursday night, two days before Mrs. Obama's White House birthday blowout. That means Beyonce could be in town anyway.

Another Attention Whore Shows Up

Anyone else feel Chuck has no business putting his 2 cents in on this? Anyone respect his comments?

Charlie Sheen rips 'Duck Dynasty' patriarch over homosexuality remarks

Actor Charlie Sheen has waded into the controversy surrounding “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson with a long rant on social media site TwitPic in which Sheen calls Robertson "Mallard-brained" and a "shower dodger."

Robertson was placed on indefinite hiatus from the A&E reality show about his family after a GQ interview was published in which he responded to an interviewer's question about what he considered to be sinful behavior by paraphrasing the New Testament and equating same-sex relationships with other biblically proscribed couplings, including bestiality.

"Your statements were and are abhorrently and mendaciously unforgivable," said Sheen in comments published Saturday. "You are now in the crosshairs of a MaSheen style media beat down." Sheen was fired from the hit CBS show "Two and a Half Men" in 2011 amid ongoing issues with substance abuse and allegations of domestic violence.

Sheen is the latest prominent person to weigh in with reaction to Robertson’s comments. In recent days, the “Duck Dynasty” star has drawn support from Sarah Palin and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, while being attacked by gay rights group GLAAD, and losing connections with Cracker Barrel.

In light of Phil Robertson's suspension from the show, the fifth season of which begins January 15, the Robertson family is reportedly considering walking away from the series, to which A&E has exclusive rights.

Liberals are wanting gun control for everyone when they seem to be the biggest violators. And, 30,000 gun deaths each year???? How many were homicides? How many gun homicides were in Democratic controlled urban cities? How many gun homicides occurred in gun control cities like Chicago?

The key facts are (the guardian.com):

• The US has the highest gun ownership rate in the world - an average of 88 per 100 people. That puts it first in the world for gun ownership - and even the number two country, Yemen, has significantly fewer - 54.8 per 100 people
• But the US does not have the worst firearm murder rate - that prize belongs to Honduras, El Salvador and Jamaica. In fact, the US is number 28, with a rate of 2.97 per 100,000 people
• Puerto Rico tops the world's table for firearms murders as a percentage of all homicides - 94.8%. It's followed by Sierra Leone in Africa and Saint Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean

I'm as big an Obama basher as anyone but, in this case....

Everyone wants renewable "clean" energy and no one wants to kill birds, especially  bald eagles but, we can't have it both ways (read report below).  My 1st thought was this is just natural selection...God culling the birds too stupid to avoid the huge, easy to see and avoid, rotating things. Who knows, maybe these avians are flying drunk. If so, create THAAFI (Tree Huggers Against Avians Flying Impaired). Then I asked myself, what are these conservationists doing about birds hitting aircraft, ceiling fans or, windows? Knowing this country's idiotic way of solving things, I came up with some solutions

Here is some possible remedies:

1. Put big cages around the wind generators to keep the stupid birds from flying into the big spinney things.

2. Use drones to chase the dumbass birds away from the big spinney things.

3. Hire more Homeland Security to monitor bird movement and blow a big horn when one of the Libtard birds get within striking distance of the big spinney things.

4. Best option, let the conservationists figure out a plan on their own.

Conservationists Outraged After Obama Approves Wind Farm Eagle Slaughter

Wildlife conservationists are livid at the Obama administration’s approval of a new rule that extends wind farms leases up to 30 years. On Friday, wildlife protection groups decried the new regulation as a “stunningly bad move” that gives wind power companies the ability to kill eagles and other birds for the next 30 years.

The Wildlife Society Bulletin approximates that 573,000 birds and 888,000 bats are killed by flying into wind turbines every year. National Audubon Society President David Yarnold expressed his anger over the Obama administration's new rule: "It's outrageous that the government is sanctioning the killing of America's symbol, the bald eagle."

Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell, however, argues that the new regulation is beneficial to wildlife and renewable energy development: “The changes in this permitting program will help the renewable energy industry and others develop projects that can operate in the longer term, while ensuring bald and golden eagles continue to thrive for generations."

Moreover, Peter Kelley, VP of Public Affairs for the American Wind Energy Association, says that the new rule provides that wind energy companies must have accompanying wildlife protection programs to ensure more eagles are not dying than expected. Kelley explained that the Dept. of Interior demands they “document all of the different ways you'll preserve the eagles,” and that the companies will be reviewed every five years for compliance. Kelley also contends the real number one threat to eagles and wildlife is climate change.

But Michael Hutchins, national coordinator of the American Bird Conservancy, says that the five year reviews are "almost exclusively on self-reporting by for-profit companies to tell them whether or not they've killed threatened or endangered species." Hutchins thinks that profit making energy companies may need more than a self monitoring safeguard: "President Reagan used to say, 'trust, but verify.' … This ruling sets up a system of permitting that allows, for the first time, the legal killing of bald and golden eagles. We think it's a bad idea."

Hutchins added, "You can't call it green if it's killing hundreds of thousands of birds and bats annually and if it's killing large numbers of protected eagles.
